Dr. Cutie

Episode 06

Dr. Tian.

Yes, my lord.

Send our people, too.

I don't need guard here.

- Your Lordship, but... - Go.

Dr. Tian. Dr. Tian.

Dr. Tian.

Promise me no matter what happens,

you will live your life.

Father, I am not a good daughter.

I haven't taken revenge for you.

And I didn't follow your words.

Live my life.

Tian Qi. Tian Qi.

- Brother. - Zheng?

Brother. She's just a doctor.

You don't need to risk your life.

If someone sees you,

there will be rumors.

He...

is the key to her ladyship's case.

He must not die.

He's useful to me when alive.

Then brother, let me handle this.

You can go change.

I'll leave it to you.

Who are you?

Why are you cross-dressed as a man?

What do you want in Mansion Ji?

Did you save me?

No.

I found him! He's here!

My lord.

My lord. My lord.

My lord. I brought some news.

Tian Qi is found.

He's by the Tianshou Pond.

I know.

How did you know?

You jumped into the water and saved him?

I saw a man in black with his face covered

trying to throw him into the lake.

And there was no one else around.

It was urgent.

I had to save Tian Qi first.

For the identity of the man,

you can go and find it out.

But, why is Tian Qi so important

that you saved him on your own?

If you want to save him,

you can just tell us.

Didn't I just explain it?

There was no one else around.

I want you to find out that man.

Don't focus on the wrong thing!

I surely know.

But...

I have one more question.

Say it.

If

Tian Qi and I fall into water at the same time,

who will you save first?

I'll check if you touch the ground.

If not, I will make it happen.

That's right.

You are still the General J that I know.

But you saving Tian Qi all on your own

still surprised me.

Tian Qi is still useful to me.

I can't let him die.

When I got him out of water,

Zheng accidentally saw it.

He knows what's more important,

so he stayed to take care of him.

Now that he's awake, I shall go and see him.

The General and Marquis Marvel

all rushed to save a doctor.

What a bless for Tian Qi!

My lord.

What happened?

I was taking a walk by the Tianshou Pond

and happened to see Dr. Tian, arms and legs tied,

lying unconsciously by the pond.

How did you fall into the pond?

I...

God bless you.

Being tied like that,

and drowning, but you were saved.

How lucky you are!

Dr. Tian, can I ask

who saved you from drowning?

I, I fainted at that time.

I'm unconscious.

When I was near the bottom of the pond,

I remembered being lifted by something.

But I couldn't open my eyes,

so I didn't see him.

I once heard that

there's a spirit turtle in the pond

given by his majesty and lived for 100 years.

It's likely that Dr. Tian

was saved by it.

My father told me that when I was a kid.

He once saw the spirit turtle himself.

Dr. Tian being saved by it

was not impossible.

He was tied too tight

to swim by his own.

Am I right, brother?

Alright, you've been through this danger

and survived.

You are blessed by god.

Send Tian Qi home.

Yes.

My Lord, I am good.

Keep it.

Thank you.

Tian Qi, Tian Qi,

I always say you're blessed with nine lives.

His lordship is really...

hard-hearted.

He doesn't care about my safety.

Sihuang Powder, i.e. Chinese rhubarb,

Astragalus mongholicus, the rhizome of Chinese goldthread and yellowbile.

It can relieve the pain caused by stomach heat.

General J's here.

It must be something wrong with my ears.

How could his lordship come here,

right?

My lord, please accept my greetings.

My lord.

Why do you come alone?

If you want to see me,

you can just tell me.

I'll be there in a second.

Arise.

Yes, my lord.

Are you feeling better?

I feel much better now.

Thank you my lord for the delicious food.

I'm in good health now.

My lord, do you want some tea?

I'll make you a cup.

I have something to ask you.

When you were thrown into water, tied,

did you notice someone peculiar?

It must be Sun Dali.

Why are you so sure?

My lord, here's the thing.

Sun Dali stinks.

The smell is pretty strong.

When he was chasing Marquis Marvel and me

I smelt it from a great distance.

It was hard to bear.

This time, after he knocked me out,

he carried me on his shoulder.

I wasn't completely unconscious just for the smell.

I felt sick.

Sun Dali wanted to murder you,

but didn't succeed.

However, he left a letter

and committed suicide.

Do you think

Sun Dali was quite unlucky, wasn't he?

Sun Dali died?

The murderer behind it killed him

so quickly.

It's so terrifying.

I can't. Now, I'm trapped in a dilemma.

Someone want to use Sun Dali to kill me.

But I can't report to his lordship.

If I tell him,

I must confess the belt thing.

Then I can't properly explain that.

Sun Dali is dead?

Then I'll let go of it.

I won't blame him anymore.

My lord.

What else can I do for you?

Nothing urgent.

You're not fully recovered.

You were almost drowned.

Have a good rest.

Thank you, my lord.

Goodbye, my lord.

Goodbye, my lord.

Sun Dali is dead.

He couldn't possibly kill himself.

Someone used him to kill me

and then killed him.

Who can that be?

Kang Ninger?

Her Ladyship died.

She will benefit from it the most.

But...

is she that stupid?

God bless you.

You can survive from drowning.

You are so lucky.

Madame Shu.

What will she get from killing her ladyship?

Does it mean...

she also has a feeling for his lordship?

It's so dangerous living here.

Brother Wang.

I brought you something tasty again.

It's been three days in a row.

Thank you so much.

You deserve this.

You saved my life.

I can bring you this every day if you like.

Here.

I just looked into the bushes that day

and called your name. And you were there.

It's not big a deal.

Drink some water. Don't choke yourself.

Here.

My stomach is aching.

How can that happen?

How about go and take the weight off?

I'm take care of here.

Okay.

Here stores the confidential documents of Jiedushi office.

Don't go in there. You'll be beheaded.

And... no one else is allowed to enter, either.

They need a access permit.

Alright, I know. Off you go.

Don't worry. I'll stay here.

I have to go.

Where's the file for my father's case

stored?

Why is here unguarded?

Where's Guard Wang?

Who's in there?

It's me.

Greetings, my lord.

Arise.

I don't know you're here.

I saw the room's unguarded.

so I went in to check it.

It's good of you to do things carefully.

What are you looking for

all on your own?

Here keeps the documents of the mansion.

There are so many of them.

If you want something specific, I can help you.

No need for that, I brought my helper.

Come.

Then I'll just go.

Thank you for saving me, my lord.

I happened to be here.

But...

you should be more careful next time.

You don't have a permit.

If I'm not here today,

do you know what will happen to you?

Sorry, my lord.

Why do you come here?

I heard that

I heard that here stores

the namelist of all staff.

So I come here to look for a person.

Who're you looking for?

I can help you if you want.

I'm looking for...

for my loved one.

I want to know the birthday

and when my loved one started working here.

You already have a loved one?

And you're here... because of

your loved one?

Please don't tell anyone.

It's a secret.

Is he a guard in the mansion,

or a footman,

or an assistant of my brother?

What are you saying, my lord?

I am a man.

I like girls, of course.

If you don't need my help,

I'll just go.

This is probably an excuse.

This girl is smart and

has an agile brain.

Now it seems that brother is not her goal.

But, why did she break in here?

What is she looking for?

Dr.Tian.

I saw you once,

outside the mansion.

My lord, you mistook me as someone else.

Zheng.

My lord.

Why are you here?

Both of you.

Brother, Dr.Tian and I just

met here by chance.

So I asked if he's better

after that day.

I am just a servant.

You're so kind.

I haven't thank you

for giving me your cape.

The cape looks rather expensive.

I have cleaned it.

You can keep it.

No.

I like that cape very much.

You come and give it back.

Yes, my lord.

Zheng.

I've never seen

you were this familiar with anybody near me.

What's special about Tian Qi?

There's nothing special.

I just think he is interesting

And we get along quite well.

Zheng, I have some business to talk to you.

I will go to your place later.

Okay.

Today, I got off on the wrong foot.

I was almost found.

I sneak peeked at confidential documents,

and was caught by Marquis Marvel.

I saw you once,

outside the mansion.

What does he mean?

He saw me outside the mansion.

Does he know that I am a girl?

It can't be. If he knows,

why did he cover me up? Why did he save me?

What on earth is going on?

I'm troubled by tracing the culprit,

and also run into danger again and again.

My god, you, you.

You, answer me.

Am I not treating you well?

I gave you good nourishment.

When he punishes you,

I covered it for you.

Why do you treat me like this?

My god. My god.

I am sorry. I am sorry.

I apologize.

You just keep it like this.

Keep it. Don't move.

It's okay for just one flower.

What you say and do is right.

I am doomed. I am doomed. I am doomed.

I survived from drowning.

But if the flowers are all gone,

his lordship won't let me go alive.

I need to hurry up

and find out the truth about my father.

and then leave this dangerous place ASAP.

There are two guards now.

It seems that

it's impossible to use the same technique.

My lord.

I know you will come here.

What a coincidence.

I was thinking

when I should bring you the cape.

Since we met each other,

you can give it to me today.

I'll follow you to get it.

No, No, No. You don't have to.

I happen to have something to ask you.

My Lord.

The cape you lend me the other day,

I have cleaned it.

Can you help me put it on?

I...

You want me to help you with that?

I have a sore neck since last night.

My shoulders are not well, either.

I wonder if Dr.Tian

would like to help me.

Yes, my lord.

You insist on finding your man,

who is he exactly?

My Lord.

Why do you care so much about my doing?

I saw you once outside the mansion.

At that time, you were dressed as a girl.

Now why are you cross-dressed as a man

and come to Mansion Ji?

My Lord, what do you mean?

I can't possibly dress as a girl

and pretend I am a doctor.

I was qualified in the General Medical Academy.

And I was almost an imperial doctor.

How can I false that?

And that you seeing me once outside

dressing as a girl

is by no means possible. It's impossible.

Really?

Maybe I made a mistake.

But the day after the banquet,

who did I see in the market?

You must have made a mistake.

I won't wear girl's clothes in public.

And at that time,

her ladyship was just gone.

I stayed at Mansion Ji all along.

You must have mistaken someone else as me.

I am doomed. I am doomed. I am doomed.

I had to try something harder.

I can't let him go to his lordship

and tell him that I am a girl.

What if his lordship wants me

to undress myself as a proof?

I can't let that happen.

I had to do this.

Alright. Alright.

My Lord.

I know that

I am a man with a girly face.

When I was young, I was always teased by others.

Because of this, my parents

have cried me a million times.

So I made up my mind to

get into the General Medical Academy.

But I don't know

you, though seems open and honest,

will also

judge me with my appearance.

I didn't. I didn't mean to.

Now, someone in the mansion wants me dead.

His lordship wants me dead if the case's not solved.

Now, you want me dead too, I...

When did I say that?

You insulted me

and made fun of my looking

I, I, I

I can't live with humiliation.

- I. - What are you doing?

It's dangerous.

Don't do something you'll regret.

I'm about to kill myself.

Let go of me. Let me die.

Let go of me.

Let go of me. Let go of me.

Alright, I apologize.

I mistook someone else as you.

Are you sure?

Yes, I am.

My Lord. I was right, right?

I know you mistook someone as me.

Now that she isn't a threat to brother,

I can just keep an eye on her.

You were right. I apologize.

If I did something offensive just now,

please forgive me.

My Lord.

It's good now you've thought it through.

If his lordship heard about this,

I might be in trouble.

Take it easy.

I won't tell anybody else,

especially his lordship.

I won't embarrass you.

Thank you, my lord.

It's quite late now.

I should be serving his lordship.

I need to plan it thoroughly.

Alright. Then I'll leave you here.

Goodbye, my lord.

That's terrifying!

What are you afraid of?

My lord.

The medical book I read recently says that

it's bad for the eyes to see light before bed.

And it also harms the sleep.

Let me put out the candles for you.

Don't be this clumsy.

Come cool me with the fan.

Yes, my lord.

Tian Qi.

What are you doing?

Teacher.

Come here, quickly.

Quickly Quickly. Come on in.

- What are you doing? - Just get inside.

Get inside.

Tian Qi, what are you doing?

You look like a thief.

What am I doing?

I'm stealing flowers.

You, you,you.

My lord asked me

to find out the culprit before the flowers are gone.

If not, I'll have to die.

What else can I do?

I had to steal it.

You, you.

How dare you

to steal something from his lordship?

Who gave you the courage?

What else can I do? I...

Teacher, help me.

I beg you. Alright. Alright.

I treat human patients,

not flowers.

What can I do?

I don't know what to do.

Alright, alright, alright.

There's one worth trying.

What's that?

Give offerings to the flower angel.

The flower angel?

Have you read

all your novels carefully?

The book clearly says that

each flower as a guardian angel.

So this flower

has its angel, too.

You can just worship the angel.

It. The flower.

Is this...

Does it work?

This is the only way.

Do you have a better idea?

I, I...

My Lord, I've found something

about Dr.Tian.

I don't know if I should say it.

Go ahead.

The General always sleeps alone.

He won't let anyone stay when he sleeps.

It's known to all in the mansion.

But he lets Dr. Tian to stay.

And sometimes he stayed till morning.

Though it's just once or twice,

people has spread some rumor.

I know that.

My lord.

I wonder if the lady on the portrait

is actually Dr. Tian.

Why are you interested in him?

You can go now.

Give me a break.

Yes, my lord.

Why does a girl like that

hide her identity

and work here dressed as a man?

Whatever she's after,

she's brave enough.

Are you looking for me, brother?

It's about Tian Qi.

Dr. Tian?

Tian Qi getting into trouble

proves that my assumption

is correct.

They want him dead after failing to frame him.

If Tian Qi stays alive,

the culprit won't spare him.

For the ones I trust in the mansion,

you're most skilled with kung fu.

So I was thinking...

Do you want me to protect him secretly

and find the culprit?

It's one thing.

And another, Tian Qi

is quite witty.

He must have found something.

Help me keep an eye on him.

Brother, have you noticed that Dr.Tian

has something different from other doctors?

What have you found out?

No, I just think Dr.Tian is

quite interesting.

I am curious about him.

Tian Qi is indeed interesting.

Help me watch him.

I have a hunch that

the culprit will do something.

Yes, if something's wrong,

I will tell you immediately.

It seems that brother hasn't found out

Dr. Tian is a girl.

Brother, if you don't need me,

I'll part you from here.

Tian Qi.

Is it Dr.Tian?

Madame Shu.

Are you Dr. Tian that was saved

by the spirit turtle several days ago?

Yes, my lady. That's me.

I've learned that you were in trouble,

because you offended someone.

I don't know I live with such horrible person.

I am truly terrified.

It must hurt a lot for that beat.

Have a good rest.

Thank you for caring.

You are serving the General.

Only when you're good,

can he receive better caring.

You don't have to thank me.

I understand. I'll go now.

It must hurt a lot for that beat.

Have a good rest.

Shouldn't I tell his lordship that

something's wrong with Madame Shu?

But it's just one sentence.

Can I use it as proof?

If his lordship doesn't buy it,

chances are that she'll bite back.

No, I should be extra careful.

I'll tell his lordship

only when I find sound proofs.

But the General,

will he wait until then?

When will be the end

of the frightening days?

My lord.

Tian Qi.

Is all you said true

or not?

The day you fell into water,

are you really saved

by the spirit turtle in Tianshou Pond?

Of course it's true!

Teacher, have you read any novel?

It says that

when a legend is in trouble

they'll be saved by something divine

or a brilliant god.

A legend like me

deserves a spirit turtle

saving me, right?

Then, tell me

what does the turtle look like?

The turtle, how can I put it.

It's really big.

It has a size like this.

What' more, it's really dark.

And it,

when in deep water,

its eyes were green, and its mouth full of fangs.

Its teeth were long and sharp.

Its shell was big and heavy

and glittered.

It swam so fast.

And it looked like...

It looked disgusting,

with a hideous face and ugly teeth.

Can you picture it?

If I didn't know it's a spirit turtle,

I must have been terrified.

I wish I were saved by a beautiful lady.

How can you describe your savior?

My lord. My lord.

Tian Qi,

You just said the spirit turtle saved you.

Is it true?

Yes, it is true.

How can I lie to you?

But that day

didn't you say you didn't remember it all?

At that time, I just got out of water.

I was still processing.

When I sat down,

and took some syrup,

I tried to recall some details.

I remembered that

in the water, it seemed like

a giant thing swam towards me.

I opened my eyes and saw a turtle.

A spirit animal in the legend

was, in your eyes,

very ugly and terrifying?

My lord, you haven't seen it.

It's indeed very ugly.

If you say so.

I was told its stories since I was a kid.

I was quite curious.

You said the spirit turtle saved you.

So, it must be very fond of you.

How about calling it out again?

And let me see for myself

what it looks like.
