There's no jurisdiction here,
no standing.

And even if there were,

any such lawsuit would be barred
by sovereign immunity,

which prohibits the U.S. Government
or its officials

policy decisions.

How do I not toss this on its face?

First,

the United states government,
through congress,

ratified the U.N.
convention against genocide.

The government's current failure
to stop the genocide in Sudan

violates both U.S. law and policy.

We have not failed,

You're arguing the merits,
which I'm happy to do, but it means a trial.

If a government begins
a rescue operation

which, in effect, stops other
countries from pursuing that rescue,

that government can be held liable
for failing to complete that rescue.

Never! Never has the United states government
attempted any rescue mission in Sudan.
