Would you lift your end?

I am lifting it.

Then why are we hitting every other stair?

Because they're heavier than they look.

They can hear you too.

Good.

Are they awake yet?

Unfortunately.

Welcome back, ugly.

We saved you a seat.

Don't worry. There's no need for your hands.

Or your opinions.

All we need is your eyes.

This year we've gathered a fresh collection of monsters.

- Ignore that. - As I was saying,

this year we've gathered a fresh collection of monsters.

And one of them dies tonight!

What? I'm building anticipation. - Just roll the tape.

Just start the fucking show!

God damn!

Hi. I'm DVVSK.

I am a visual and performance artist in Los Angeles.

I have no idea what is going on.

Driving blindfolded, not knowing where we're going.

It's a long, long car ride.

I'm expecting the worst.

Kind of in my head a little bit as well, but also excited.

Bunch of haystacks.

My name is Vanda LaRose.

I am from Chicago, Illinois,

and I'm a full-time drag artist and costume designer.

I am cursed and blessed to say that my drag mother is the one

and only Aurora Gozmic.

And let's just say that the rotten apple does

not fall far from the bitch tree.

You thought she was bad. Just you fucking wait.

What do? How are you?

- I'm good. How are you? - I'm good, thank you.

What's your name? - My name is Vanda.

Vanda, I'm DVVSK.

Love the Grace Jones reference,

but Grace Jones would have her fabrics finished.

My name is Krustyna Clown, sister of Frankie Doom,

coming down from Anchorage, Alaska, to fuck shit up.

Season 7 is gonna be fucking incredible.

It's gonna be exciting. It's gonna be adventurous.

And it's gonna be the moment where I finally get my crown.

I am Koochie-Koochie Ku, the D&D diva of Atlanta.

And I'm here to dominate these monsters.

I am a fat bitch who loves taking up space.

I'm here to represent for Black folks, for AFAB folks.

I'm also here because I want to pay off my mom's house.

She's working hard for all her entire life.

I want to make sure that she knows that house is paid for

Hi, divas. How are you? - Oh, my God, hi!

Vanda seems like she might come from the pageant world,

which, you know, me and pageant divas always,

Hello. I am Samuel Bendix, and I am the South American vampire.

Hey! - Hey!

Oh, my goodness, she's spiky, baby.

Damn!

Hi. I'm Annie Agurl,

and I am here to stir the fucking pot, bitch.

I'm stoked to kick this competition off,

'cause the sooner I can start plucking these bitches

off one by one, the sooner I can get to this finale.

Season 7 is going to be sickening just because I'm here.

It's Annie's world and the rest is just parking.

I'm Scythe, a performer from Costa Rica,

I am known for my very pointy, weird, asymmetrical looks.

My goal is just to get dirty,

get filthy, and win those $100,000.

Oh, stop it.

I know Scythe. Scythe is technically

a drag sibling of mine,

so I was very excited to see them.

But also, I need to beat the bitch.

- Hi, Scythe. I'm Krusty. - Hi, gorgeous.

You're incredible. Wow.

I'm excited about Scythe.

His fucking creatures are amazing.

I'm not from L.A., bitch.

I don't know everyone in the alternative scene.

I also am not 21 years old and on my phone

and have it shoved up my ass,

obsessed with everyone's social media.

So fuck me for being the only one

who had no idea who Scythe was.

So, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven.

I feel like that's a good number.

We can stop here. - Yeah.

Well, surprise, surprise.

My name is Areal Haunting.

I'm 31 years rotten and I'm Rockford,

Illinois's number-one outcast.

I make costumes for artists,

I do makeup for artists, I do wigs for artists,

and it kind of all trickles right back into Areal Haunting.

It took me a second to realize...

Holy shit. A whole different person?

That was unexpected.

Santana, a returning performer--

it's very threatening.

She didn't do very good in her first time around.

Maybe she would do very good this time around.

We'll see, we'll see.

Hopefully. She's beautiful.

She had her time. She had her moment.

She pretended to Quint.

I don't think I have much to offer anymore to the show.

Everyone, have a great time. I'm out.

And now she's back. So what's tea?

Satanna is heavy competition for me.

We do a lot of the same kinds of drag.

We're both very beautiful dolls.

Uh... okay.

So I hope that we can be united for us here.

What's up, fuckers?

It's me, Inkubus, here from the Gold Coast, Australia.

I auditioned for the show

With Felony and Satanna coming back,

I'm excited to see what they have to show.

But, I mean, they went home for a reason.

So honestly, like, I'm only waiting for them to leave again.

How do you guys feel about two returning competitors?

- I'm like-- - I hate it.

I hate it because you're stealing my thunder

Well, that wasn't gonna happen. But, you know?

I feel, getting to know the returning competitors,

I don't think that they were afraid of titans.

So, like, no worries.

- Oh! - Oh.

Uh-oh, uh-oh.

That TV is ancient.

Welcome to Kansas, uglies.

Whoo!

Now, I'm sure being dropped off

was the last thing you'd expect

for your first "Dragula" experience.

But, darlings, really,

what's scarier than being in the bleaching sun

in 100-degree weather in full drag?

It sounds absolutely terrifying to me.

Oh, my God.

Now, for your first challenge of the season,

you must conceptualize and create looks

inspired by our theme, Horror in Oz.

Whether you're referencing the original book--

my personal favorite--

Gregory Maguire's new stories--

my other personal favorites--

or films like "The Wizard of Oz,"

"Return to Oz," and "Wicked"--

- Oh! Don't forget "The Wiz." - Thank you!

We want your character to be original.

We want it to reference the material.

And above all else, we want it to be horrifying.

Ooh!

Now, for your first Fright Feat of the season...

Oh!

You'll be blindfolded and must carefully

make your way across the field through a tornado

and then get yourself into Dorothy's house,

where you must find a pair of ruby slippers hidden inside.

Oh, and there will also be an army of Dorothys

that will be trying to stop your wickedness along the way.

So I hope you brought an umbrella.

I am glad I don't wear a wig.

Whoever survives the twister

and makes it to the ruby slippers the fastest

will be the winner of the first Fright Feat

and will win the ability to cast

Glinda's bubble of protection...

- Mm! - ...which can be used to ensure

that you will be safe from extermination this week.

Wow!

Good luck, my putrid pretties,

and we'll see you tomorrow back at the manor.

Yeah!

The goal is to get through this cyclone

and then grab a pair of red pumps

inside the house on a time limit.

There's a lot of moving parts to this.

I am terrified, 'cause I see a massive fan.

It's blowing up all these little men's skirts.

And I'm looking at all that

to try and distract myself from the fact

that my lashes are about to be in fucking Kansas.

I'm not excited for this whatsoever.

I need this immunity so bad.

I was in the bottom episode 1 on my original season,

so I need this.

I'm stoked, and I'm pissed.

I'm going to fight my way to that porch.

I don't want to go home first.

I need to win it and make sure of that.

Oh, this dust is nuts.

I'm getting sand in places that can't be named in front of God.

Honestly, I feel absolutely terrified.

This is fucking insane.

I'm being pushed into trees.

I'm having so much fun right now.

I cannot find these fucking shoes.

I'm digging through every corner in this house,

and I cannot find a single fucking ruby red girl.

Girl, what the fuck?

I am stressing the hell out.

Red. Ruby red!

I'm digging through drawers. I'm digging through closets.

I'm digging underneath the bed.

I'm flipping the fucking mattress

like I'm looking for coke that I lost.

I'm digging through fucking everything.

My strategy in the house

is to go as fast as I can and be as thorough, as well.

I cannot find these goddamn shoes.

I don't think they're there.

Where is it?

Where the hell did they put this?

My strategy for finding the shoes

is to rip this fucking house apart.

And, I mean, I don't have to pay for any of it,

so what the fuck do I care?

- Bitch. - It's fucking annoying,

because I cannot find these goddamn shoes.

And finally, I open the last fucking cabinet

that was in the room, and there they were.

Ah! Bingo!

Oh, work! There he is!

The Fright Fear was fucking exciting.

I mean, I did not find the fucking shoes. I'm pissed.

But honestly, when I saw that they were flats,

I really had no interest.

If this is how they welcomed us to "Dragula,"

I am so fucked for the rest of the season.

I think I went the wrong way,

and, then, I got fucked by several Dorothys.

So, like, I won in the end.

- Oh, shit. - Oh!

It's a man.

Pick me!

- Oh! - Hand it to me.

- Hit me. - Hand it to me.

So, the person who found the slippers the fastest

was DVVSK

I feel amazing to have won the first Fright Feat.

And it feels good to be safe,

'cause fuck these bitches.

My sweet, little friend

in the unfinished Grace Jones outfit

wins Glinda's condom of protection.

I think that's going to help them quite a bit this week.

I'm happy for her.

I feel like she was someone who possibly needed that bubble.

You know, her look was a little bit more reserved.

And possibly, that could speak to the rest of her looks.

I don't know yet. I just met her.

But I'm happy a Black person won.

Wait. What is that?

What is that?

Baby, after every goddamn thing that I have been through,

now we got witches in the sky.

This is gonna be a hell of a fucking season.

Just go...

Wow. As seen on TV.

Feels like home, baby.

I'm inspired by the trees

from the original movie "Wizard of Oz."

I feel like those trees were, like,

the most terrifying thing for me in the movie.

And I want to kind of bring beauty,

but, also, bring the terror.

I'm making this a lot out of EVA foam and foam clay.

I'm also doing a lot of work with yarn

to make this really long, long, kind of viney hair moment.

So I'm shaping some vines out of foam clay

and then sealing it and then painting it.

I'm shocked to find that there are multiple trees.

I thought I had an original idea.

You said you're a tree?

Yeah. I'm doing a tree.

But I also feel confident in my idea, as well,

because I feel like I created a original character

and I'm not just a tree.

So, my inspiration is a basic lion,

because it's one of the big characters.

And I want to give a message about the treat of animals.

Like, they kill the animals just for the horns, the legs,

and they don't care.

We have to show respect to animals.

So I'm doing this coat so it shows,

like, what are people doing with their fur.

Like, they're doing clothes with it.

They just left the body there in the desert

or where they kill it.

And it will be, like, a little bit of fashion,

but I will, like, give this big message.

So, my inspiration is coming from

both Evilene from "The Wiz"

and, also, the cut jitterbug scene

from the original movie.

I'm the jitterbug jester.

The materials I'm using is a bunch of little embellishments

to be as gaudy and embellished as Evilene.

And with the jitterbug,

I have his impaled head on a staff,

and I'm going to infect everyone with the jitterbug virus.

I'm going in with, like, marker and tapping on it to stipple

'cause I want to give that storybook,

but real-life element to it.

A lot of texture, a lot of detail comes with my work.

We're gonna serve y'all some jitterbug realness,

and I'm excited to do so.

- Are you a scarecrow? - No. I'm a Munchkin.

So, I wanted to do sort of like a "Last of Us" zombie.

It's, like, very organic, coming from the poppies.

Oh, this is--

- Oh, I love that. - Yeah.

So a poppy-field zombie is what I'm doing.

Me, Vanda, and Annie go into the sewing room

just to, like, debrief.

Like, this has been a lot.

There's been a lot of characters,

a lot of names thrown around.

And we just, like, want to speak amongst each other

about, like, where we're at in the competition.

Who do you all think is going to go home first,

now that DVVSK has immunity?

'Cause it can't be her.

Like, I saw a peek at the look.

It's a fucking mess.

But, also, we have to remember

that this is a performance-based competition,

and DVVSK is an amazing performer.

That is what I keep hearing.

So, in the little bitch-and-stitch session,

we're having a lovely time

chatting about the other competitors!

It's nice to try to make friends.

Oh. Is there a clique already formed?

Well, the glamour squad

is gathering somewhere not here, so...

Oh, that's true.

Huh. I thought they were working on this stuff

'cause they need the help.

I mean, I guess the cliques are already forming,

'cause, you know, they're pulling the girls aside,

having their little glamour ghoul club,

and some of us aren't invited.

So I know there's some fuckery.

I feel like any situation in which Annie is in there,

it's to talk shit with people.

So I already know what the tea is.

I definitely feel like those girls think that they're like,

"Oh, yeah. We're just like the pretty girls in the corner

that can just talk shit about everyone else.

And it's fine, because we're pretty."

I was honestly so shocked to see Koochie here.

- Really? - Really.

I've never had a bad experience with her personally,

but her friends really tried to bully me out of spaces.

And I think that you are the company you keep,

so I'm a little suspicious of her.

I hope that here, we get to kind of change that up,

because we'll be working in the same spaces.

I'm gonna tell y'all, tea divas,

if y'all are feeling any kind of way about Annie,

you are not alone.

As much as I want to be friends with her,

a lot of my friends hate her.

- Oh. - Right.

So I don't know how much

I want to show being friendly to her

when I know I got to go back home

and deal with that,

about how friendly I'm being.

So how genuine is her, then?

I mean, I feel like you can take her

with several grains of salt about anything.

But I'd encourage you to stand up to her,

'cause I don't think a lot of people do.

I think they let her get away with her mouth a lot.

You know, I'm trying to give everybody the honest tea.

That's all I can.

And I had to let them know that I know Annie from Atlanta.

A lot of girls don't like her, and that might be justified.

Me and her don't have beef so far,

so I will treat her kindly, but at a distance.

Do you want to do some investigating?

- Yes. - Come on. Let's have some fun.

Felony is a bit shady.

Usually, whenever I notice that I don't like a girl,

I'm not wrong.

And I'm picking up on it very instinctively,

because I grew up around weird, manipulative people.

Yeah. I know that they have had,

like, a massive switch-up in their drag.

And, like, I don't know. I feel like

if you've had years and years and years to cook,

I expected you to come in--

This is what you serve for dinner?

Also, like, no shade, at a fucking "Titans" level.

I expected a "Titans"-level dinner.

Also, it's like, "No, hey."

Going back for "Titans," It's what you want--

Love and peace.

It's to show the elevation... - Well, yeah. Of course.

- ...to show how far you've come. - Of course. But, also--

You haven't had as much time as they've had.

- No. I've had a year or so. - Yes.

But, also, the thing with "Titans"

is, like, I want to see the best.

And it's like those people who are on "Titans"--

So you don't feel like Felony is the best.

That's probably why she's not on "Titans."

'Cause she's still at a beginner level.

I've elevated.

I don't know what it is about Uncle Fester,

but she's really rubbing me the wrong way.

I do think Scythe is really cool,

but everyone being like, "Scythe is the competition.

Scythe is the competition. Scythe is the competition--"

I'm not seeing it for her.

I don't think the monster thing

is gonna fit with every challenge,

and I'm very interested to see how they're gonna be adaptive.

I recognize it. I think Scythe is cool.

I think Scythe is so cunt.

I'm not gonna say that to their fucking face.

But, again, creature drag, creature drag, creature drag.

But no one ever asked the creature to be glamorous.

Everyone asked the glamour girl to get nasty.

So riddle me that, bitch.

There's been a shit ton of people

who have come on this show

that have been, like, fan favorites,

and, then, they either fall one-note

or they don't live up to their online presence.

Because I feel like

if everybody's got their eyes on you,

you either have the most to prove

and, like, the biggest payoff

or you have got the farthest to fall.

Ooh! ♪ We're off to see the Boulets ♪

♪ Do do-do-do do-do-do do-do-do do-do-do do-do-do ♪

Tear up this floor show, divas!

I am so excited for the first challenge of the season,

because I love my look.

I feel prepared, I feel good, I feel ready.

How confident is everyone feeling

bringing horror to "The Wizard of Oz,"

which is such, like, a bright, colorful, joyful movie

most of the time.

I think, honestly, like, one of my favorite things to do

is bring horror and gore

into, like, super happy, colorful romance.

Yeah. Absolutely.

That's my favorite thing to do, too.

I'm just really excited to be able to feature that.

I'm looking around the room

and seeing all of these big and colorful pieces.

I start to feel a little insecure about my look.

I'm really excited to be immune.

I still want to turn a look and turn a performance,

but definitely glad to be safe.

Y'all look insane.

I'm so excited to see all your looks.

Especially the gossip corner up in there.

We're actually the Dollhouse over here.

So is that the name of the little clique?

Our first clique, y'all.

A clique is just a cunty little word

for girls who like to have fun together.

And I found it interesting

that y'all were making a lot of noise about Scythe,

but being Good Judy to their face.

Oh, tell me. Is it obsession or emulation...

or intimidation, baby?

I do not know and did not know

who you are coming into the competition.

- Same, baby. - Oh.

Vanda's being a little bitch.

She is clearly talking shit about me

and is just showing how insecure she's probably about her drag.

So, I heard people saying

that there's been a long time between season 2 and now.

I have a lot under my belt.

I have been doing the things

that a lot of the winners of this show are doing.

Then, why weren't you on "Titans"?

I mean, I think we came to the conclusion of it.

It's just 'cause I don't think

you would be prepared for "Titans."

I think you're right where you need to be.

I'm over her. I'm over her.

I was over her her season,

and I'm over her in mine.

I'll be honest. I am nervous,

just because my first episode last time

didn't go as planned.

The shit is scary.

If you're not nervous, you low-key should be nervous.

Who are the three trees again?

I can't remember. - I'm a tree.

I think anybody dressed up as a tree

should be a little bit nervous.

As good as your look can be, it's not a good look

to be compared to other people that closely.

Yeah. I did say

to reference source material if you wanted to,

so that's what I did.

How do you change a tree, though?

Did anyone else do a character directly from it?

- Me. - Are y'all feeling worried

that it's not really following the prompt?

I don't think that's correct entirely,

because it was definitely to be inspired

by the characters that exist, as well.

How are you feeling, my love? What are you doing?

I'm feeling like a pain.

Because I'm doing the lion.

I understand the lion-- why he was a coward.

I was going to be a dad.

So she don't want to be a mom.

And she decided to abort the baby.

I was coward to not be stopping her.

I know it's woman's rights, woman's body.

She can decide. We are adults.

Attention. Competitors. Attention, competitors.

The floor show is about to begin.

I guess we're off to see the Wizard!

Welcome to the Emerald City, my mutated little munchkins.

The poppies are poison,

the scarecrows are stitched with sin,

and the thing behind the curtain

whispers in tongues older than Oz.

For our very first floor show of the season,

we've asked our cadaverous cast

to summon all of their powers of drag, filth, horror, and glamour

to show us their most twisted take

on the theme Horror in Oz.

Our special guest judge this evening

is a multitalented artist

who has left her mark on cinema history.

From "Scream" to "Jawbreaker" to "Death Proof"

and "Planet Terror" to "Charmed,"

please welcome the spellbinding and iconic artist Rose McGowan.

Rose, we are wickedly thrilled

to have you here with us tonight.

I'm equally thrilled to be here.

And I cannot wait to judge these witches.

And speaking of "Jawbreaker," our next judge

is the brilliant brain behind the cult classic.

He's a dear friend of the House of Dragula

and no stranger to stories of beauty turned beastly.

Welcome back to Oz the dashing Mr. Darren Stein.

I am so excited to be here.

There's no place like home.

Now, my dear viewers, it's time to click your heels,

dodge the Wheelers,

and dive broomstick-first into a world of flying monkeys,

talking heads, and tin hearts turned to rust.

It's time to dim the lights...

Start the music...

And let the floor show begin.

Welcome to the merry and murderous land of Oz.

Did you read Frank Baum's books?

I don't remember.

You told me all about them laboriously,

so I know everything.

- Well, I love the land of Oz. - Yeah.

So it was exciting to see all that.

And for me, I was kind of tickled,

because this harkens back

to the very first challenge of season 1,

The Wickedest Witch and the buckets of water

and the whole nine. - Mm-hmm.

I think Oz has always had a little dark place in our hearts.

Yeah. I think it does for a lot of queer people, actually.

And the whole friends of Dorothy coding as queer.

I used to think that was an alcoholic.

I didn't realize it was a gay.

That's just the truth. - Okay, well...

not all truths need to be known.

So let's talk about some of our favorites tonight.

- Okay. - I'm gonna start.

We did have a forest of trees,

but for me, the standout was Annie.

I loved the Munchkin. I loved the glamour.

I thought the texture was fabulous.

What was the Munchkin? I didn't see that.

She had, like, a Munchkin on a rope,

like, hanging from her limbs. - Oh, that's what it was?

Yeah. - Oh. I couldn't tell.

I thought it was like a baby or something.

I was like, "I don't know what that is."

Yeah. Baby would have swerved into,

like, super weird and inappropriate lane.

- Well, that's what I thought. - Munchkin. Hello? Oz.

- "She is inappropriate." - Munchkin. Hello?

I know.

Let's talk about Samuel Bendix.

Sam is one of my favorites.

- Oh, really? - Yes.

So, when you look at that costume,

you feel that it is well-done. - Mm-hmm.

Well, I don't know if it's, like, that, simple, right?

Aha.

You gonna get me? You gonna get...

And your little dog, too.

But I thought it was really imaginative.

Okay. But the materials-- they don't go together.

I think it would have looked a lot sleeker

if all of it was metal, but it was, like, piecemeal-y.

Maybe that's good feedback you can give to Sam tonight.

Let's talk about Satanna and Felony,

because they're coming back from a previous season.

- Yes. - Satanna was on season 5.

She was very in her head.

She was struggling with her identity and everything.

In her time since she's been off the show,

she's transformed into a completely new creature.

And, then, Felony went home first.

We always thought that she had so much more to show.

Yes. But, unfortunately,

you know, she wore those gloves and boots and went home.

- Cck! The ax. - Yes.

They didn't have enough formaldehyde.

But I digress.

She has auditioned every season since then,

and her audition tapes are incredible.

- Exceptional. - Yeah.

So for me, I really just thought it was time

to give her a chance with this new generation.

Now, are they gonna eat her up?

Maybe. We'll see.

She's not a good fighter. - No.

You know, when it comes to Felony's look,

it was really well-done.

I mean, I don't even think I could critique it.

The only thing, though, is that it was a copy.

It was a total cosplay of a Wheeler.

Mm-hmm. They needed to reinterpret it

and bring some originality to the look.

But at the same time, she has great craftsmanship.

Exactly.

Why don't we talk about Vanda LaRose?

- I wanted to love the look. - Yeah.

I thought the ingenuity of the poppies

was maybe the best part about the whole look.

- Yeah. - Which would include the prop,

smoking it, as well as the train on the dress.

Absolutely gorgeous.

I think she really laid into the character,

and she was, like, cackling and doing witchy things.

You know how they do. - Yeah. You do it quite a bit.

I am a sorceress, not a witch.

Okay.

Wow.

Welcome to the merry old land of Oz, darlings.

And we thank you very sweetly

for this first floor show of the season.

I am shaking in my little, encrusted heels.

There is something about

when those two beautiful bitches stare at you,

like, down the barrel of a shotgun.

It will put the fear of God in you.

Now, if I call your name,

please slither forward.

Koochie-Koochie Ku.

Krustyna Clown.

Vanda LaRose.

Areal Haunting.

Felony Dodger.

And DVVSK.

You are all safe and will not be thrown into the tornado.

But please remain on the stage.

So, Felony, I thought you did an incredible job.

It looks fucking amazing. The craftsmanship is great.

- Thank you. - I think the only detractor

is that it was too close of a reference.

It's almost a cosplay of a Wheeler,

as opposed to you reimagining it.

Otherwise, your scores would have been higher.

Oh! It feels... ♪ So good ♪

...to know that I'm not going home first this season.

Those remaining represent

the highest- and lowest-scoring looks of the night.

We're going to go down the line and offer you our critiques.

Let's start with Annie Agurl.

I love this look.

It absolutely fits the Oz mythology.

I love the trunk,

the boning of the corset and the construction of it,

going from these beautiful, swirling trunk breasts

to a strong trunk cock.

Very admirable. - Thank you.

Annie, this was one of my favorite looks of the night.

It's kind of perverse. I love the dead Munchkin.

I thought you did a great job. - Thank you.

The bejeweled apples-- I love that they look rotten.

The swirling of the bark just makes it a bit fashion,

but it's still very dark.

It's like a complete fairy tale, and I'm enthralled by it.

Thank you so much.

It was vastly better than your entrance look.

I was a little concerned,

So I'm very happy to see what you came out with

for your first challenge. - Thank you.

Annie dressed up as a beautiful tree.

I have a feeling she's gonna be in the top somehow.

But I, also, would be remiss if I didn't say

that literally everyone in the cast

helped her put that on.

I'm just saying.

Annie Agurl, loved the costume from the front.

The zipper popped and I sewed you into it from the back.

- Next, Satanna. - Hello.

There's a lot going on with this.

The flowers coming out of the mouth

I was feeling are more "Midsommar" than Oz,

and, then, the outfit feels very Kansas.

Is that an Auntie Em kind of reference?

What's the outfit about? - No. It was a reference

to the Munchkins. - I got a little confused.

But I love that severed hand

coming out of the basket. - Thanks.

I think you needed to take another couple of steps

to make it a little sharper.

I wouldn't have read this as a Munchkinlander.

To me, I see patterns of, like, the witch, the woodsman,

and maybe a little bit of Dorothy with the basket.

It almost felt like a chimera

of all of these different elements of Oz

kind of combined into one.

I like the poppy field.

I see that as an interpretation of opium,

which would then make this whole thing extremely psychedelic.

I see what you were going for.

And I feel, also, great warmth for you,

because after I broke up with someone once,

his nickname for me became Satina.

Oh!

But he's dead now.

So rest in pieces.

Oh, that's got to be my favorite quote of the day.

Just a true story.

Next, Scythe.

For me, it's giving Yeti circus monkey,

but in a very cool way.

It has a real throwback vibe

to the freak-show monkeys that used to be in circuses.

And I love the detail work.

It's definitely original.

Ooh, ooh-- I mean thank you, thank you.

Ooh, ooh! You're welcome.

For me, the way that you acted the part out was fantastic.

You were totally in character, as you are now.

And it really helps to sell your look.

Thank you. I practiced my monkey walk

all night for you. - Very good.

I love that your monkey is covered in blood,

because they're terrifying in "Wizard of Oz,"

and you've taken it to "Dragula" land, which is fantastic.

I love the fabrics.

Your hands are painted. The nails are great.

It was a ballsy move to wear that crown.

I was completely taken with this.

Great job. - Thank you, my love.

Scythe, I didn't like it.

I love it. I think it's cool.

I think the prosthetic work is exceptional.

You just made some interesting, strange choices,

and I like things that are interesting and strange--

the color palette, multiple sets of wings,

this carnivorous, like, ripping up of the limbs for the gag.

Overall, the effect was really brilliant.

Thank you.

- Let's talk about Inkubus. - Hi.

This is one of the more terrifying looks of the night,

so I really love it for the horror.

It's definitely nightmare fuel.

But I didn't quite feel the Ozian nature of it.

It had a little scarecrow,

but the gingham pajama bottoms--

it felt a little muddled to me.

- Mm-hmm. - I understand

the concept of what you were going for.

But how it presents,

it's a little bit too much work for an audience.

It's that finding that sweet spot

of not giving it to the audience easy,

but, also, not making them work so hard they turn off.

And just keep bringing it. Doing great.

- Thank you so much. - You're welcome, sweetheart.

Going forward, you're in a competition

where people use real brains, real guts, real blood.

So, your props--

you know, they were plastic. - Yeah.

They fell and were bouncing around.

You can use that material,

but try to make sure you age your props

and make them look as gnarly

as what you would expect on the show.

Yeah, absolutely.

If you can't age it and kind of bring it up to the speed

with the rest of the look,

just fuck the prop and, like, go forward.

- Thank you. - That's for everybody.

That's a new t-shirt-- "Fuck the prop."

"Fuck the prop. Go forward."

I promise to use my brain better next time.

Yay! Mom's first time in drag.

Inkubus was wearing pajamas and a battle of the Batmans mask.

You could not pay me to put on Inkubus' costume.

She is allergic to embellishments.

Love her to death.

Let's talk about Samuel Bendix.

Hello.

I particularly like the silver eye makeup

with the silver teeth, with the silver nose gag,

the whole thing.

It works really, really well.

And cinematically, that will definitely pop on screen.

Thank you.

I love that you're giving drag Tin Man

who's sort of collecting people's hearts.

I especially love the details in your look--

the Leigh Bowery lip, the silver veneers.

It was a great adaptation of the Tin Man.

Your whole energy exudes, like, a beauty and a confidence,

and I think that came through in the look.

I just think it's interesting and cool.

What I would have loved to see

is to take your waist and just snatch it in.

You got to be in as much pain as I am right now

and just snatch the shit out of that corset.

Your scores would, like, elevate in my world.

Thank you so much, Mother.

I like this outfit more

from the waist up than the waist down.

There's too many different materials happening for me.

And I think if you're gonna do, like, a Tin Man suit,

most of it should be the same thing.

Because otherwise, it looks like you're like,

"Oh, shit. Let me just buy some silver stuff

and put it all on together."

Sam's was silver

and was there on the stage.

Maybe the Boulets saw something in Samuel

that I did not see backstage.

I saw a hog body in a silver dress.

And last but not least, Purus.

Hi.

There seems to be a very complex narrative to this,

so I really want to hear the story behind it.

I think animals have to be respect.

And lions-- they're not pets, and they have to be free.

That's a very powerful, powerful narrative.

I love the grotesqueness of the face.

It's a mask of pain, and it's really powerful to see.

Really good job with this.

Oh, thank you. Muchas gracias.

What I remember is seeing one of your legs and your bare feet

while you were still in the lion costume.

The overall effect was confusion from me.

Okay, okay, okay. Gotcha.

I actually felt impacted and could feel the animal's pain.

- Thank you. - Thank you for that.

It's an amazing thing

for a performer of any type to make someone feel.

The only tiny note I would have

is that when you create a creature,

when you create a look,

you have to follow it all the way down to the hands,

all the way down to the feet.

Don't make those tiny mistakes,

because that takes away from the total greatness.

- Okay. - Thank you.

- Muchas gracias. - Muy gracias.

The craftsmanship of the actual bodysuit,

I would have liked to see a little more texture

and liquid latex and blood

so that I could really tell that it was muscle under there.

I didn't got really the story of, like, skin and lion.

I really got the story of like,

"I'm barefoot on the floor show of "Dragula.'"

I'm not excited about this.

But ultimately, I came here to prove something,

and now's my chance to do it.

Aye, walking and climbing

all the way up is very tiring.

Because I have prosthetic on I can't breathe.

My nose is getting stuffy.

I'm sweating.

I mean, it's hot. It's really hot.

I blame myself for coming in week 1

and just being so much better than everyone.

It put a huge target on my back.

I should have paced myself,

and I should have sucked just as badly as Inkubus did

and maybe I could have flown under the radar.

I make it to the top, and I look over, and I am scared shitless.

I am not prepared, and everything else falls silent.

Here they come. Here they come.

One down. Six more to go.

There's six fucking zip lines?

Oh, you're fucking kidding me.

Oh!

Wait, no! I'm stuck!

All I have to do

is make it to the bottom of these fucking zip lines.

It's very clear who's going to stay here

and who's going to go home.

I'm snatching that broom,

and I'm snatching this fucking competition.

I have to stay because the show's

I'm bringing something new-- new concepts and culture.

So I think I should be staying,

because I have a lot to show more.

This is it. It's between me and Purus,

and only one of us can survive.

My entire fucking career is resting in the fate

of who gets a broom first.

Okay. I know, I know.

We went a little easy on them with that extermination.

But trust us. It's all part of the plan.

Besides, we haven't even gotten to the fun part yet.

Let's see.

I can't decide.

Oh, what the hell?

It's the premiere.

We're gonna give her...

...the big break she's been dying for.

[Lightning crashes, VCR clicks[

I'm so sorry, darling.

But it looks like your debut is going straight to video!

This is it, Purus.

Your big break in TV.

Welcome to prime time, bitch! - Aah!
