It's hard to talk about sex.

Films can be used to jumpstart discussion of sexual needs and desires.

Talking about what's on the screen can facilitate that discussion and is a

great way to stimulate new ideas.

Therapists warn couples that doing the same thing time after time is a sure way

to create boredom in the bedroom.

And they encourage them to keep the spark in their relationship by using

some imagination and creativity.

Many therapists use and prescribe Sinclair programs because they provide

accurate information and model positive sexual behavior.

Sinclair films are recognized by many organizations that promote sexual health

and have received numerous awards.

Since 1991, the Sinclair Intimacy Institute has been helping millions of

viewers maintain long-lasting intimate relationships.

Join them. Watch this video with your partner.

Together you can learn the ingredients for a lifetime of better sex.

Products seen in this program are designed to enhance sexual pleasure and

improve lovemaking skills.

These products are available through the Sinclair Intimacy Institute's customer

service.

Hey, that's nice.

Yeah, that's really nice.

Aw,

thank you, baby.

The awareness of the pleasure potential of anal sex, both as solitary eroticism

and as part of couples play, can encompass a full range of activities

that can promote intimacy and enhance sexual enjoyment.

Welcome. In this program, we will look at anal eroticism for you and to share

with your partner.

We hope to dispel many negative ideas surrounding anal pleasure.

We'll address health issues that will allow for safe experimentation with a

full range of anal play and intercourse.

Learn about the possibilities of expanding eroticism and variety through

anal pleasures.

Dr. Jack Morin, America's leading expert on anal health and pleasure, will be

joining us he'll explain how cultural taboos persist in making anal eroticism

an uncomfortable subject for many of us he'll explore what makes the physiology

of that area of our anatomy so sexy you'll also see explicit scenes of

couples demonstrating techniques they find enjoyable both as self-pleasuring

and as part of sex play with a partner these couples will share how anal

eroticism has enhanced their sex lives We hope you'll learn from their

discoveries and discuss them with your partner. You may decide to experiment

with some of the many varieties of anal stimulation, play and intercourse

presented here.

Well, it's been very difficult for anthropologists and historians to study

anal sex because generally people don't talk about it. It's a hidden activity.

But we do know from a historical perspective that in some societies it's

been sort of quietly condoned, whereas in other societies it's been harshly

punished and sometimes the official punishment has actually been death.

The first sodomy law that we know about in the United States is in 1697 in

Massachusetts. and then most other states adopted similar laws along the

way. Something very interesting happened, a lot of it in the 1970s, when

some legislatures, but mostly courts, reversed many of those laws.

This trend culminated in 2003, when the Supreme Court negated all remaining

sodomy laws by affirming a fundamental right to private sexual expression.

between consenting adults regardless of sexual orientation well generally

speaking taboos have a suppressive effect so we don't discuss taboos to a

great extent and that's particularly true of the anal taboo it kind of tends

to operate really on a visceral gut level and it just leaves most of us with

a very uncomfortable feeling that we shouldn't talk about it shouldn't

explore that area shouldn't touch that area it's just

restriction I had a bad experience

once a guy tried to say oh it slipped and I was like no it's one of those

things that kind of makes you feel dirty afterwards I think and and hurts there's

so many nerve endings in the anal area which can either register pleasure

pain and then if someone is uncomfortable or tense anally and then

attempts to insert something into the anus, the muscles are going to resist

and those nerve endings are then going to register pain.

Well, you know, it's a very widespread myth that if you're going to engage in

anal sex, particularly intercourse, that at least at first it's going to hurt.

And this is a very destructive idea because basically what's happening is

the person's anal muscles are tensing up and saying, no, no, no, this is not

comfortable. But then if you proceed anyway and endure the pain, you may be

lucky enough to have your muscles release at some point and the pain will

be...

reduced and then there's this great sense of relief that happens. Now once

you get into that pattern though, every time you have an experience then your

anal muscles are going to resist and so it's going to be very difficult to go

into it as a relaxation experience.

I think it's very important that we expect that when we do anal exploration

that it's going to feel as pleasurable as possible.

And I encourage my clients to see pain as a sign that they're either not

sufficiently comfortable psychologically or not sufficiently relaxed.

And if that happens during anal exploration, if there is pain, the thing

to do is to let your partner know that and then back off to an activity that

feels better or comfortable.

So, for example, if a couple was trying anal intercourse and the receiver said,

oh, this is not comfortable, this is hurting, the thing to do would be to

stop that for now, but maybe do some external anal touching instead and see

if that could become a pleasurable thing.

Now, sometimes this means that in order to avoid anal pain, that you need to say

to your partner, We need to wait. Not now. Let's try it another time. Or let's

try something else that I'm more comfortable with.

Well, it's really unfortunate that there's a number of women who have come

to believe, and also men who believe, the myth that women don't really enjoy

anal sexuality, that they just engage in it to please their partner.

This is a very destructive myth because, for one thing, many women end up

enduring pain when actually

all they would really need to do is take their time a little bit more and relax a

little bit more. But it also blinds a lot of women to the fact that anal

stimulation can be incredibly pleasurable, even orgasmic, for some

women. I think one of the most important things for women to keep in mind is that

they have the potential to enjoy a whole variety of anal stimulation as much as

any man.

And that if they're not, if it's not feeling good, that's simply a sign that

they're not yet sufficiently relaxed to enjoy it fully.

And I think the key here is to be in tune with one's body and listen to the

signals that it's sending. If there's painful and uncomfortable signals, those

are saying, I'm not relaxed enough. I need to take more time.

No, that's not what that part of the body is for. Exit only.

It's very understandable that many people feel that the anal area is dirty

because of its association with elimination, and that's a key function

of the anal area. But we need to keep in mind that the rich concentration of

nerve endings there makes it a natural area to also enjoy for pleasure. Another

thing to keep in mind is that the anus and the lower rectum is not generally a

storage area. for feces, and so with some basic hygiene and if a person

is healthy, that area of the body actually can be very clean.

Straight men who like anal sex have a tendency to possibly be bisexual.

A man that has homosexual tendencies will have anal sex.

Well, I think what one enjoys in terms of sexual activities is often completely

unrelated to their sexual orientation. And we know for sure that there's men

and women of all sexual orientations who enjoy anal stimulation a great deal.

And it seems to be completely unconnected with who they choose as a

partner. partner.

Now, unfortunately, many people wonder and worry if they're sexually normal for

enjoying the things that they enjoy, especially if it's a taboo pleasure such

as anal stimulation.

But I see this as another manifestation of the anal taboo.

Recent studies report that a high percentage of both the male and female

population practices anal erotic activities.

Clearly anyone, regardless of gender or sexual orientation, can expand their

enjoyment of whatever kinds of anal stimulation they desire.

Rewards may include both enhanced enjoyment and health.

Let's explore the nature of anal pleasure.

Both the male and female pelvic regions have many erogenous zones to explore.

During sexual stimulation, many tissues in the pelvic area become engorged with

blood. Both the clitoris and the penis become erect through the same

physiological processes.

The anus also has blood vessels and nerve endings that respond to

stimulation. The anal canal is about one inch long and leads into the lower

rectum. The walls of the anal canal also become engorged from increased blood

flow during arousal.

Women's G-spots, also called the urethral sponge, is too far away to be

stimulated directly through the rectal wall.

But some women enjoy rectal massage combined with G-spot stimulation through

the vagina, provided with a finger or sex toy.

Well, I think for a lot of people, including anal exploration in their

masturbation, is one of the best ways that there is to learn about our own

anatomy, how we're put together, how things feel down there, what our

preferences are, and what works for us.

It's also a really great opportunity during masturbation and using anal

exploration to explore a variety of fantasies that might be of erotic

interest to you.

A pampering bath and some basic preparation assures comfort for anal

play. When approached gently, the anus and rectum are not particularly

vulnerable places.

But because the tissue of the anus, anal canal and rectum are more delicate than

the tissue of the vagina, she makes sure her nails are short and filed smooth.

Anything she plans to put in her anus is thoroughly cleaned with soap and water.

Hands, sex toys, butt plugs, and dildos.

Placing a condom on each toy makes cleanup much easier.

An important reminder, once anything, fingers, penis, or toy has been in the

anus, it must be covered with a new condom or thoroughly cleansed with soap

and water before it goes near the vagina.

As an alternative, some people designate one hand or toy for anal and the other

for vaginal play.

If we're going to use the hands, obviously, we want to make sure that

it's not too rough around the edges or too sharp or whatever.

Yeah.

Generally, I mean, it's like I used to wear, you know, the acrylic nails, and

so I've taken those off. And it's better not to have the longer acrylic nails

because you don't want to scrape the inside.

We also use enemas to clean with.

Although cleaning the lower rectum with the finger while showering may be

sufficient, if an enema, a douche of the anal canal and rectum, is desired, there

are a variety of options.

A disposable enema is easily available at your drugstore.

Just empty out the chemical solution and refill with plain warm water.

It may help to apply lubrication to both the anus and the tip of the bottle.

Follow package directions.

Warm water enemas can be used as often as you like because they clean gently

and do not disturb the natural organic balance in the bowel.

With preparation done, it is essential to practice another component for anal

eroticism, relaxation.

You can set the mood with subdued lighting and music.

Prepare all your senses for delight by touching your entire body.

Caressing and massaging the perineum may help to relax the anus before insertion.

One of the most important keys is to become aware of and learn how to relax

the anal sphincter muscles.

There's actually two anal sphincters. These are ring-like muscles right near

the anal opening, the internal and the external.

And it's important to be aware that these function completely differently.

The external anal sphincter, most of us are able to relax it pretty much at will

just by deciding to do so. The internal sphincter is controlled by the autonomic

nervous system. that regulates our heart rate and all that kind of stuff.

And so to relax the internal sphincter, we have to take the time to learn how

to train it.

to release when we breathe deeply especially that tends to help or when we

touch it in a massaging kind of way it helps it to relax and learning to relax

that internal sphincter is particularly crucial for someone who realizes or

comes to learn that their anus is a tension zone like so many of us store

tension in the neck or the shoulders of the lower back A lot of people store it

in the anal sphincter muscles, particularly that internal sphincter,

and someone who does that is going to have to spend extra time learning how to

relax that sphincter, and a terrific way to do that.

for really for anyone is to develop the habit of each day during the shower to

insert your own finger gently into your anal area maybe massage it a little bit

and notice what happens when you take some deep breaths and that you'll you'll

almost immediately begin to notice that the muscle lets go even if it's just a

little bit at first but by doing that repeatedly you're going to learn so much

about those anal sphincters and what they need in order to relax

It was something that I never did before, was at home doing that thing.

So I tried it out by using my finger, and it worked out really well.

Hey, it's not very well for me, because she's interested in trying new things,

anal sexism.

I don't know. It's a different kind of orgasm.

For me, I don't know. For her, she seems to be more intense type of thing.

And maybe because of the taboo, that's what makes it a little better for

everybody. Maybe because something that you're not supposed to do makes it a

little icing on the cake, so to speak.

Anal stimulation can be combined with rocking, deep breathing, and making

sounds. all can enhance arousal.

Some women enjoy the sensation of fullness and of being able to explore a

new and culturally naughty part of the body.

I think the important thing is to take whatever time that you personally need

to reach that level of comfort and pleasure. For some people, when they

first insert the finger, it feels a little odd, and if they just stay with

it and take a few deep breaths, the sensations of pleasure begin to emerge.

The question often arises, is it okay to accept a little bit of discomfort?

And I encourage people to make a distinction.

I don't think it's beneficial to accept something that's actually painful.

I think if it hurts when you insert a finger that you should slowly back it

off to a point where it's comfortable, even if it means you have to come back

to it later. But if the sensation is more like... odd or strange and it

doesn't exactly hurt then i think it's okay to stay with that feeling not only

the sensations but to be particularly aware of any memories or feelings that

might be associated with that sensation and just spend some time with it and see

where it leads you and lots of times you can discover some really important

things about your anal experiences

past and current, that can make you so much freer.

It certainly can intensify our pleasure if we can deliberately and voluntarily

contract and relax our anal muscles.

You know, most people discover that during all kinds of different sexual

activities that there's a little tensing up going on and relaxing and it's

changing, our muscles are changing, and that is often part of the pleasure. And

the same thing is true anally. And many people find that by deliberately

contracting and then releasing that they get different sensations that's very

pleasurable. In addition, some people really enjoy the feeling of contracting

their anal muscles against something that has been inserted, whether it's a

finger or a dildo or perhaps a penis.

When a finger is inserted into the anus during masturbation men feel the

pressure against the bulb of the penis This is the internal anchor which is

very close to the anus and close to the surface between the anus and the scrotum

For many men this internal stimulation feels great almost like masturbating

from the inside You may wish to begin by

massaging the anus before inserting your finger

Remember to push very slowly into the anus and lower rectum and past both sets

of sphincter muscles.

Curving the finger, angling up toward the navel allows you to find and

stimulate the prostate.

Anal eroticism can be enhanced by a wide variety of sex toys.

Because this area is not self-lubricating, lubricants are

essential for anal play.

Remember that oil-based lubricants break down latex condoms, so the safest

lubricants may be water-based.

Many are taste-free, non-irritating, and washable.

If you use a polyurethane condom or a polyurethane female condom for

intercourse, you can use any type of lube you like, including oil-based,

which won't break down polyurethane and will last a lot longer.

Remember, oral-anal sex, commonly known as rimming, and more correctly known as

anal lingus, performed without a latex barrier may expose you to hepatitis A or

parasites if your partner has them.

Thorough washing of the anal area can greatly reduce these risks.

Even so, many people have a policy of reserving rimming for partners they know

well.

Butt plugs are made of silicone, latex, or vinyl.

They come in many different sizes and have a flared base.

That's to make sure they won't get lost or go too far inside the rectum.

The sphincter muscles close around the narrow bottom, so they give you a

feeling of fullness.

Using a series of different sizes can help you gradually get used to having

something larger fit into your anus, like a dildo or a penis.

There is a great variety of shapes and sizes of dildos.

Most models are also made of silicone, latex, vinyls, and even glass.

Silicone is easiest to clean and is flexible, smooth, and non-porous.

Latex and vinyl dildos are less resilient.

Jelly-like dildos and butt plugs are very porous, so require a condom.

Anal beads vary in size, too.

They're in a string and made for anal play to be inserted one at a time.

Vibrators are for those who want stimulation of the anal area's nerve

endings.

Common sense guidelines for using anal toys include making sure all edges are

smooth. Your toy must be flexible enough to maneuver around the curves of your

rectum. Keep all toys clean and never put anything into your rectum that is

not easy to remove.

I think to fully enjoy the potential for pleasure in inserting objects into the

rectum, we have to look at three factors. The first is the muscular

awareness and relaxation that we've been discussing.

That basically opens the area up.

sets the basic comfort level the second thing is to realize that the rectum is

not a straight tube it actually has a couple of major curves in it and so we

have to learn to work with the curves of the rectum whenever we're inserting

something that say is longer than a finger and i recommend to people that

they do some experimenting experimenting on their own by inserting a butt plug or

perhaps a dildo and learning which positions that they can be in and which

positions they can insert the object that allows it to easily work with the

curves of the rectum to make sure that it's comfortable.

The third factor is to be willing to...

Learn about the new sensations that you're going to receive when you insert

an object into the rectum. It feels very different. We're used to feces coming

out. But to have an object going in, it's a whole different set of

sensations. And we need to give ourselves some time to get used to these

sensations, to sort them out, which ones we like, which ones we don't like, and

how we can make it feel as pleasurable as possible.

Using an anal butt plug, inserting that for a little while to relax,

like leaving it in anywhere from, say, five, ten minutes all the way up to half

an hour, depending upon how comfortable you feel.

Once you take that out and you check yourself again, see how clean you are

and how you feel, usually anal sex after that is much more comfortable, much more

relaxed.

Butt plugs are good for experiencing a pleasurably full feeling.

Dildos and vibrators are for in and out play.

Begin by preparing the smallest in the set of butt plugs.

The graduated sizes help you relax before proceeding to the larger plugs.

The diamond shapes allows you to wear each inside the rectum, held by your

sphincter muscles.

Glide the plug into your anus so the angle is comfortable.

Remember, use plenty of lube and take your time to permit your anus to become

relaxed. This is essential for arousal and will allow you to discover a new

source of self-pleasure.

Some men choose to use vibrators to stimulate the entire anal area at once.

The cactus flower has fingers at the base of its shaft, which can be used to

massage the perineum and testicles.

I had experimented. We had a couple of vibrators, and I used them on myself and

found that the... And I was curious about it because I'd heard and read

about prostate stimulation.

And what I can say about it is that the orgasm and ejaculation that a man has

from prostate stimulation is far greater than any other form of stimulation that

I know of. I mean, at that point, I'm like Rocket Man.

I mean, it's the most intense thing that I know of, honestly.

The Flexible Surge Master is another option for anal play.

The anal rod is made for varied anal play. You can start with the narrow

finger-sized tip. When ready, insert the thicker rippled shaft.

The anal rod combined with your fingers can help you experience self-enjoyment

from two pleasure centers together.

In this position, your partner can relax comfortably and enjoy the pleasurable

sensations provided by the iPlug.

Varying positions can give you chances to try out speeds, rhythms, and depths

in your anal play.

We've done some anal play experimentation.

It's been a fun part of our play together. I really like having a

vibrator in my anus, and I find that it gets me more aroused, and I can have

an orgasm more easily.

And it adds to if he's doing oral stimulation on me, then to have a

vibrator in the anus is a nice addition.

And as long as you're clean with it and you can use a condom, there's no reason

why it should be taboo or dirty and can be an added pleasure.

Well, I think for a lot of people, a great way to begin to get a sense of

what anal intercourse may feel like would be to explore anal eroticism on

your own, most likely during masturbation, and also usually involving

the insertion of a butt plug or a dildo, taking your time and learning about...

the sensations in your body and what they have to teach.

The next key thing is to find a way to communicate some of what you've learned

to your partner, to let your partner know the things that draw you to want to

experiment with anal intercourse. What are the fears that you have about it?

They might be fears that it will hurt or be uncomfortable, or maybe there's fears

that this will make you a slutty person or...

you know that you won't feel good about it afterwards that you will have shame

and i think it's really good to be able to express both the hopes and dreams as

well as the fears to your partner and then likewise to be prepared to listen

to what your partner has to say because even if your partner clearly wants to

explore anal intercourse with you very often that partner may also have fears

as well as hopes of his own that needs to be expressed, or at least it would be

a good thing.

And I think it's unfortunate that very many partners do this whole thing in

complete silence without any communication at all.

And in doing it that way, they miss out on all these opportunities to discover

more about each other.

A shower provides relaxation and cleanliness, two important ingredients

for anal pleasure.

Once fully inserted, the fingertip finds and massages the prostate.

Some women find that combining this with a massage of the penis can result in a

very intense orgasm.

The way that we got into experimenting with anal sex and any other aspect of

sex basically is that we trust each other.

The reason why I feel so comfortable with her about having anal sex and stuff

like that is because, like I said, I could totally trust her.

I would barely have to move or make a little noise and she would be like, are

you okay?

Can I do something to make you more comfortable?

I always think that.

Like we could always add a little something, you know or spice up a move

or something, you know, just make things a little more interesting

I think I've been fairly oriented towards my male

genitalia and, you know, conventional kind of sex.

And I think really only with meeting Leila and going deeper into our

relationship and becoming familiar with each other's bodies that I felt that I

could... go there and actually, you know, allow her to play around.

And she's a little bit more experimental and playful than I am or have been.

Well, I think I, on one hand, just have fallen so badly in love with her that

I'm pretty much willing to try just about anything.

So a lot of it had to do with falling in love, feeling comfortable with sharing

my body with her.

and being playful and experimental.

And so when she was suggestive of that and would kiss me or touch me there,

it slowly is becoming kind of an erogenous zone that I did not know

before.

I would say trust is a really big factor in communication and make sure the

person, you know, really feels good and make them feel really beautiful at that

time. We always shower so that I know that we're both really clean. That's

very important to me.

Oh, that's so good, honey.

I feel so good.

Your finger feels so good.

Well, there are many people who find that they really enjoy analing, as

popularly called rimming, which involves bringing the mouth and lips and tongue

into contact with anal opening in particular.

But many people are concerned about the area being dirty.

And one of the best things that someone can do if they want to explore rimming

would be to, at least initially, to...

try it when they're freshly showered or maybe even try it in the shower with

their partner. Not only does this eliminate any odors that they might not

like that are naturally in the area, but it also happens to be a very good way to

dramatically reduce the chances.

of being exposed to an intestinal parasite, that is, if your partner

happens to have one.

And then there are some people who find that, especially initially, they're a

little more comfortable or maybe willing to explore rimming if they use a small

piece of latex as a barrier and they can still enjoy some of the sensations, as

can their partner.

And sometimes it just calms some fears about cleanliness and smells.

If you'd like to try something new, external stimulation and some licking

and kissing called analingus or rimming might be for you.

That's good.

Like that? Yes.

No,

analingus

isn't a taboo subject with us.

I enjoy... For him and I, it's one of those little things that's like a treat.

That does a lot for me. That does a tremendous amount for me. He loves to

lick my booty.

So we definitely do the licking booty thing.

now it's probably there from day one yeah i i tend to yeah booty man from day

one yeah i've always been uh booty oriented yeah guys like big boobs i like

butts so

You know, when we do do it, it's a special thing.

But as the years gone on and the time went on or whatever, that's a new turn

on to me. So it's something new to actually push me towards that.

Well there's basically three condom type of choices for anal intercourse.

The first is the traditional latex condom that most of us are familiar

with. There also is a polyurethane condom, which is just like the latex

condom, only it's made with a different material.

The advantage there is whereas when you use a latex condom, you've got to be

conscious of using only water-soluble lubes because the oil-based lubes can

break down the latex.

With polyurethane, that's not an issue so that you can use any kind of lube

that you want.

And many people do find that the sort of... of oilier lubes, they last longer,

then they're a little smoother and they like them better.

If you want to use oily lubes though, you have to use a polyurethane condom.

Another option that some couples are experimenting with is the so-called

female condom, which instead of really wrapping the penis as the traditional

condoms do, the female condom gets inserted into the anus and rectum.

just as it might be inserted into the vagina.

And then the penis is inserted and during intercourse rubs against the

condom, so there's more friction for the male.

And the other advantage to the female condom is once it's in place, you can

leave it there if you want to take a break from intercourse and come back to

it later. You don't have to put out a fresh condom.

And you can also, as I said, use any kind of lube that you want.

The positions for exploring anal intercourse are essentially the same as

we might use for vaginal intercourse, and it's also true in both areas that

people have strong preferences they find for one kind of position versus another.

Now, one more dimension of that preference when it comes to anal

intercourse is that some people find that certain positions work better in

terms of working with those curves of the rectum.

For some people, they really like the side-by-side position or the partner on

top or whatever it may be.

And this you can only discover through

The other thing I would say is that when enjoying anal intercourse, you want to

make sure that the lube stays fresh and you might need to add it, add more to

it, particularly if you're using a water-based lube, which needs refreshing

kind of as you go along.

Some couples prefer the missionary position because it is especially

intimate. Others might start with a position that gives them more control,

such as side by side or the receiver on top.

Bringing your legs up and resting them on your partner's shoulders allows for

slow and easy insertion.

Because partners face each other in this traditional position, both verbal and

nonverbal communication is easier.

In this position, you can attend to other parts of your partner's body too.

Remember, whether your partner has had an orgasm or asks you to stop or you

decide to take a break, always withdraw from the anus slowly to avoid irritating

sensitive rectal tissue or making the muscles tense up.

When the receiver is on top, she can control the angle and depth of

penetration.

This often helps givers worried about hurting their partners, and many givers

like having a good view of their partner's enjoyment.

This is also a good position for clitoral stimulation.

As the time went on, we just gradually just started talking about it, you know,

over time.

And I'd never done it before.

with anyone ever so no one had even come close to having anal sex or really

sex with me i'd only had sex with one other man before i met so and you know

she uh was i was actually getting to that comfort zone i she didn't have any

way of telling me what's right and wrong i had to kind of go off a basis so we're

both really new at it you know i mean and that it was very incredible but over

time and and talking is what got us to

Get to a rat, you know

Thank you.

I like it because she's facing me. There's still a lot of intimate contact

that way.

Not that anal isn't intimate at any position you're in.

Being in a top position that we tend to always start in because it's more

comfortable to begin with.

Not only that, given the opportunity, if I want to use another toy for double

penetration, it makes it that much simpler.

And like you said, the intimacy whenever we're facing one another.

It's just the intensity level I think changes and it's nice to be able to

reach up and grab him and kiss him.

Doggy style anal, an anal period, communicating is a must. Eye contact,

hands, body motion, sounds, it all comes together.

Is it okay?

Is he going too fast? Is he going too slow? So communication is always

important for anal sex, always.

Yeah, I think that's the most important thing for anal sex

more relaxed and this makes it a lot easier and more pleasurable for both of

us. Speaking, hands, touching, everything.

I think it's, you know, the whole encompasses the whole thing, you know,

just complete communication.

I guess it all started when we even started discussing anal and, of course,

that was the first communication key that you even needed. You know, you

needed to know if it's something that both of us wanted to even try.

So I think that's where it first comes in, and then you just kind of talk each

other through it and try to make sure it's comfortable.

And I think trust is a very important part of anal sex.

I agree.

Variations of this doggy-style position works well for deep penetration.

It's also a good position for partners who enjoy a lot of pelvic movement.

anal sex

I didn't want to do it, like, at least the first year in our marriage because I

wanted to, you know, you got to take things at baby steps and keep it fresh

and open.

And then, you know, he's a typical guy.

Come on, honey, let's try it.

I don't know, not right now. And then so, you know, I let him lick around the

area, play with the fingers, things like that.

for my ovaries, and there couldn't be any action down there for a month.

After that month, I was really, really horny.

And I was like, okay, honey, you can do it.

So that's how it came up.

And the first time we had anal sex, he took it nice and slow, used a lot of

lube, a lot of preparation.

But I think I was so ready, I just, there's three muscle groups.

that you have to get past and once you're past that part it's fine you're

good and especially if he rubs your clit at the same time you can't have an

orgasm females can't have an orgasm close stimulation definitely enhances

the feeling it takes away any pain that there might be and just makes it very

pleasurable yeah i definitely see a difference between vaginal sex and anal

sex there's a huge difference

One of the things that I noticed was vaginal sex is so common, and everybody

has to do it. That's how everybody got here. But anal sex was so hush-hush for

a really long time, and it was kind of kept quiet.

And so it seems a little more risky.

You get a little more like, ooh, this is kind of naughty.

It also feels different as well. The texture of everything feels different.

Pleasure is just, your mindset from doing something different is definitely

different. So it's a mental thing. Right.

I think that the taboo and the naughty are kind of a forbidden area.

It's kind of like when you were growing up and teenagers and having sex in your

parents' house. It's kind of the same.

Oh no, I might get caught. Oh no, it's something I'm not supposed to do.

Yeah.

As individuals and couples explore their potential for anal pleasure, their

preferences will naturally vary.

Some will want anal intercourse regularly, others only occasionally.

Some won't care for intercourse, but will enjoy other forms of anal

stimulation. And some won't enjoy anal play at all.
