BLUE EXORCIST -THE BLUE NIGHT SAGA-

EPISODE 8: THE BLUE NIGHT

EPISODE 8: THE BLUE NIGHT The Blue Night has begun.

Yu...ri...

Father.

You look dreadful.

Yuri? Are you there? Where are you?

Yuri...

You poor thing.

Yuri... Yuri...

Why did you leave me?

The pain to have great power.

The suffering in material form.

I understand that pain.

You're just like me.

You said you would stay with me.

Yuri.

I only need you.

I don't need anything else.

I love...

What the heck is he doing?!

It hurts! Why, Yuri?!

Why did you betray me, Yuri?!

I'll kill you, you bitch!

My body!

My body is...!

That's it.

You're just like me.

That bastard...

Body! Body! I want a body!

What was that blue flash earlier?

Let's call the Order just to be safe.

It's your bedtime, now.

Let's go to the bedroom.

Abbess?

Abbess!

Body! I want a body!

This is a divine punishment.

Director Eminescu, you must evacuate!

Almost there... I'm almost there!

Michaela, are you okay?

Yes.

Run!

Body! I want a body!

Igor!

Stay back!

- Never mind me! Just run! - No!

Don't come to me!

Father! What's going on?! Someone get a fire extinguisher!

Homare is here! Hurry up and do something!

The main family is in an uproar.

What's happening?

I don't know, but...

The worlds are trembling.

Body! Body! I want a body!

Father!

Don't come here!

Tatsuma!

Master Tatsuma, you must flee!

On Nisomuba Basaraun Hatta!

It's so cold! It's so cold, but...

My body's burning up!

Nekosuke!

So this is what the premonition was indicating?

Fujimoto!

You youngsters will evacuate the family to the foothills.

Yes!

Takezo.

Yes!

You will lead everyone.

Release Yamantaka.

Yes!

What about you, Father?

I will go back to save Master Tatsuma, so I'm counting on you.

Be safe, Father!

Takezo.

Mom... Mom...

Please follow us down the mountain.

Can you do it?

Yes.

No problem!

I can...

You're all good kids.

Don't worry, I will protect you.

Yoshi, lean on my shoulder.

Lady Torako, it's fine.

Nekosuke would be angry with me if something happened to you and your child.

See? Ryuji says so too.

I'm sorry.

My feet hurt!

This is hard.

Keep going, everyone!

Renzo, hang in there.

Please!

Can we rest a bit?

Don't get carried away!

Reaching the bottom of the mountain is our priority, you spoiled brat!

The blue flame!

You spoiled brat!

Takezo!

Takezo!

Reports of violent demons are coming in from all over the country!

It's difficult to control the familiars! This has never happened before!

Does this have something to do with killing Satan's children?

Or could it be...

Lord Armumahel!

Lord Azazel!

Stay away from me!

Lewin, don't get near!

Let me go, Osceola!

Wow! I think Satan is trying to force possession.

What's actually happening now?

Lady Shemihaza!

She withstood it.

Satan has begun wandering in search of a vessel.

Ilya.

Yes?

Take Shiemi to the shelter.

Understood.

We can't let anything happen to the child she carries.

Mother!

I must go.

Arias are useless! Fall back!

Paladin!

The Doctors are planning to evacuate Yuri Egin.

In the middle of all this?

Stop them! One of the twins is still inside her.

If they're resisting...

Yes, sir!

Paladin, the Arc Knights are ready for battle!

The other child is human.

Let us operate her.

We can't be sure.

We have an order to kill both.

But the mother is also in danger.

So be it.

As long as the child is dead, it's not a problem.

Wha—

Maybe she's already beyond saving.

It's much faster just to kill her.

What are you doing?

Have you lost your mind?

You need to calm down!

There's no order to kill Egin.

Make another move, and I'll shoot you.

You rebel!

No! He's just obeying the Grigori's orders.

Yuri, can you hear me?

They'll kill you if this keeps up.

If you want to live, deliver the baby.

Don't... worry.

I was just... resting a little.

Good.

Tisona... Colarda...

Elmode.

Gintora!

It's fast and never stops moving.

Good! Now!

She did it.

What's wrong?

He's not crying.

Perinatal Asphyxia! Move him to an ICU!

Hurry up or it'll be too late!

Wait!

That baby must not leave this room.

We must examine it to see if there's a sign of being Satan's child.

There's no time for that!

Give it!

Don't!

It isn't moving at all.

Try stimulating it.

Yes, sir!

Stop...

No response.

Check the color of its eyes! If they glow blue, it's Satan's child.

Yes, sir!

The right eye is green. It's normal.

Stop...

Or he'll die.

Please!

I'll examine it myself.

So please give back that child.

A chance!

We got it! Do it now!

Well done, Loxley!

Is he breathing?

Poor child.

He's alive.

Want to hold it?

Tisona!

Maxima Fuego! Enkere!

You decided to show up, now? You damn clown!

The Paladin has failed, and so has Operation Blue Lighting.

I'll take over from here.

You have no more use here, Doctors.

It's better to retreat now.

Yes, sir.

As a Doctor, I can only say this.

I wish you the best.

Thank you.

Is it dead?

No way. He's still alive.

What will you do?

Actually, what are you going to do?

Take a look at that.

Even Tisona, the Paladin's sword, can't destroy Satan's heart.

If I were to fight it, it would be a disaster here.

However, that sword might work.

But I heard it was empty.

Which is why it's perfect.

The truth is, that sword was made by me 150 years ago,

and I gave it to a young monk.

Huh?

You can trust me on that.

Yeah, sure.

No one knows how to defeat Satan's kid, anyway.

I'll see what I can do.

- Let's go! - Yes, sir!

Give me the highest level of defense!

Roger that!

Grid yourself with truth,

put the justice as your breastplate,

and prayer as a helmet.

Raise the shield of faith.

Take up the sword of the soul!

Shiro.

Don't do it.

He's probably just defending himself and us.

Leave us alone.

You all can go.

Please!

I don't wanna.

Finally, it's my turn.

Hey! The scabbard is important too! Geez.

Shiro!

Zeuxo, Plexaura...

Cerceis, Plouto...

Europe, Eudora...

Three thousand princesses of Oceanus,

we beseech your presence!

Now!

Oceanids' Carousel!

Die!

It's past your bedtime, brat!

Take this!

What's happening?

The heart is absorbed into the sword?

Correct. Because this sword is an anywhere door.

The hilt leads to Gehenna, and the scabbard is the door.

Together, they have the power to seal a demon in Gehenna.

It seems that sealing the demon's heart has separated him from its demonic nature.

Does that mean he's human now?

No, he's still both human and demon.

Then, we should kill him now.

Even if we kill him...

As long as the heart is still there, he will return.

The seal is just a seal.

It will not last forever.

The only solution is to keep the body in a semi-permanent state of confinement

and keep destroying the body.

But he is also a human.

If a human lives in a body that keeps getting destroyed,

its personality will also be affected.

Do you want to create the second Satan or Lucifer?

No way...

Of course not.

Figures.

In order to prevent that, even if just for a little time,

it's best to return him to his mother's arms.

Sir Pheles...

Thank you.

There's no need to thank me.

Another threat is coming.

Blue flame?

I thought the heart was sealed.

This is not the work of that child.

What?

It can't be...

Paladin!

Fa... Father!

Huh?

This body can take me.

So this is where you were.

Satan...

I found you, Yuri!

Shiro!
