"Mount Aso, Kyushu."

Wait!

Oh, hello. Good morning.

At that time...

-Did you argue again? - Yes.

- Nothing. - Good boy!

Stand still! In short!

Do you want to stop or not?

I kill you!

You've bored us!

Eh? Yoshizo!

Yes.

You too, Goro.

- Greetings. - Hey.

- How are you, everything okay? - HI.

- Greetings. - HI.

Good morning.

Oh!

Greetings.

- Good morning. - Good morning.

It's stiflingly hot today!

...if the ice at the poles begins to melt,

Huh? A flood!

I'll come right away. I'm coming!

It seems that the mine has flooded.

There was no groundwater.

I'll go take a look.

- Call the security guards! - Right away!

- It's me! - Engineer, good morning.

Hey, you, come on.

- Hello, engineer. - Greetings.

- Good morning, engineer. - Good morning.

- Flooding? - Yes.

I don't know, we have no idea.

Suddenly the water invaded all the tunnels.

And are there any leaks?

Yes, Yoshizo and Goro are missing.

Let's get to work, we have to look for the causes.

- I'm going to check. - Are we coming too?

- A small group. - Yes.

- Senkichi, Sabu, come on! - Yes.

Guys, good luck!

- Thank you. - Damn the wolf!

A corpse!

- It is true. - Soon!

Yoshizo!

- Very soon! - Yoshizo!

Force!

Doctor...

He died from injuries.

- Stop! - I want to see my husband!

- You won't solve anything! - Please!

Calm down, calm down! They're putting it back together, take heart!

Please, Otami...

be calm.

- Let's go. - Let's go.

What do you want to imply with this question?

They were always arguing. Everybody knows.

The fact is that the two of them worked together,

and there is no trace of Goro.

This way, please.

Breeding...

Unfortunately.

And my brother?

We know nothing about him.

Someone is accusing him of murder.

Really!

Come on, let's go.

Thank you.

Sir, the miners are all present.

Only Goro is missing.

So you say that there were only two missing.

Of course, they did the roll call this morning.

Have you heard?

Yes, but stay calm!

Could there be someone?

No. Unless it's actually... Goro.

Agree. Let's check.

Pass me that rope.

Hurry, how long will it take you!

Did you see anything?

Are you Goro? Come outside!

Goro!

Do not be afraid!

- Come on, Goro! - Let me get a look at you!

- Careful! - Senkichi!

You're making me nervous!

Come on, stop it!

Let's go.

After you.

Well.

Yes? Exact. Wait, I don't have time now, I'll call you later.

It's an incredible fact.

Four men, big and strong,

The policeman's head, then,

have a very sharp object.

Any ideas on the weapon?

Couldn't it be a Samurai sword?

Everyone is searched.

- Wait! - Leave me, I tell you!

- Please, Otami! - Otami, calm down!

- Otami, please! - But what do you want to do?!

Stop, Otami, stop!

Leave me!

You open!

Open this door, I know you're there!

- You open! -Otami,

And what does she have to do with it!

He's right,

- she had nothing to do with it. - Come on, calm down, calm down, Otami!

Calm down, stay calm!

- Help me bring her home. - Yes.

Let's go.

Stay calm, Otami.

Shigeru!

No, Kiyo...

Suteyan... and Senkichi were like brothers to him.

He could never kill them!

It's right?

Listen to me. There is still hope!

Really.

Watch out!

Hey, you! Come here, come!

Let's go!

It's inside this house.

Come on, let's go in!

There he is!

Fire! Fire!

Help!

Very soon!

Take refuge in Nishimachi!

Hurry, hurry!

Gentleman!

We are all here and ready.

Let's go!

All right. Let's move!

Fire!

Take a stand!

Shoot!

To the ground!

Oh no! It's terrible!

Quick, let's go!

Dead. She literally massacred them.

Let's transport them.

The power plant.

Send all the men you can at once!

Heavy weapons, guns are completely useless.

What?

Look here! Let's take him away.

Soon!

- Stretcher bearers! - Here we come!

Upload it. Quickly.

Let me see.

Soon! To the infirmary!

I'm going to look for him.

Don't go there! It is too dangerous!

Let's wait for reinforcements to arrive.

To the ground!

- Follow me. - Yes.

- Lead the way. - Yes.

You three, stay here.

The others follow us.

Floor.

Answers!

The monster!

Fire!

- I'll try with the carts. - Yes.

Come on, let's move!

Backwards! Get off the rails!

Watch out!

Tell your men to be careful.

After you! Fire!

Engineer!

Engineer!

Never seen anything like it.

It's a prehistoric animal, an interesting discovery.

Several millennia ago, there was a flying dragon

conventionally called Meganulon.

These appear to be larvae.

Greetings.

Hi, I'm a journalist, professor.

The Meganulon egg was covered with a layer of charcoal.

to be hatched.

Maybe you all remember...

that, a few years ago, lotus flowers bloomed,

whose nature was millennia old.

Yes, certainly, yes.

than a change in the temperature of the earth's crust

made it possible for the eggs to hatch.

- Boss! - News of Shigeru?

We tried to reach the cave,

Do you hear?

Ready?

As?

Well, we're not quite sure yet,

No, not excessively.

between the crater and the mine,

Can I have a car?

Stop, don't come closer! Backwards!

It's strange...

We use to call this depression

A simple depression.

Wait!

Is fine? Let me do it.

So, do you know him?

It's engineer Kawamura, he works in the mine.

Answer me!

Answer me! Answer me!

- Good morning. - At that time?

He has total memory loss .

Engineer...

Permit. Let it pass.

Shigeru! It's me! Do not you remember me?

Say my name!

Go ahead, make an effort!

You've been working for us for two years !

Shigeru!

Please.

Answer me!

Shigeru!

Yes.

We can try to bring back some memories,

You know, total memory loss

However the risk exists, I can't say.

- If you allow, I'll take it away. - Yes.

Very quietly.

Well. She closes her eyes.

Very slowly.

Now open them again.

Now close them again slowly,

and take a deep breath.

Do you recognize him?

Do you remember it?

What happens?

Ready. What? A call from the Institute?

Yes. I'm Nishimura.

Oh, an eruption of Mount Aso!

Sure. We need to evacuate the area.

As a precautionary measure?

Yes, I'll do it right away. Keep me informed.

Trouble never comes alone.

An unidentified plane has just finished

Damn.

Base calls patrol.

Commander Kitahara, do what you can

so as not to lose sight of him,

and keep the base continuously informed.

Okay, got it.

Base, can you hear me?

The unidentified flying object

is returning to Fukuoka.

I tried, but he doesn't answer my calls.

Keep trying.

And chase him, never lose sight of him.

Got it, Commander.

Hey! He changed course!

No! She's coming at me!

He's a giant!

Kitahara! Kitahara!

However the radar confirmed us

Who the hell do you think he is?

I... I don't know what to say.

Perhaps the enemy has designed a new type of aircraft...

Air base.

Yes, just a moment.

I'm Izeki. Tell me everything.

That? Was another plane lost?

What? Flying over the China Sea?

Yes, I'll call you back.

It seems that the British have lost a plane.

Attacked by an unidentified object.

- This is getting worrying! - Yes.

"Beijing"

"The mysterious object was flying towards Japan,"

whether it is large or small.

“It could be a flying saucer.â€

"Philippines"

"The Government has launched exceptional measures."

While waiting to clarify the situation,

A state of siege is declared in and around Manila.

In these areas reservists are invited to report

Martial law is in effect .

"Okinawa"

"Tokyo"

In this last case we don't know

whether it is a single flying object

or an entire squadron.

This morning it flew over Beijing at 11am,

"Tokyo time."

Please don't go!

You can't see the crater, however.

- HI. - HI.

- Goodbye. - Until we meet again.

- Go slow, bye! - Until we meet again!

Go slowly!

It's true, he was a friend of mine.

I would rule out suicide.

Yes, I would rule it out too.

If they wanted to commit suicide, we would have found each other again

their belongings and their bodies nearby.

Right.

For what reason would he have decided

to take away just one?

They stole his cows again.

This afternoon.

- I finished. - Ah, wonderful!

Oh, go ahead.

- Have him file a theft report. - Well.

- Isaac? - Capo?

These are the photos that were in the car.

He saw? It doesn't look like a flying saucer,

- A Pterodactyl. - One moment,

Let's not jump to conclusions right away.

But what are you saying, you can see it very well here!

Look, these prehistoric animals

they were very large and above all heavy.

Professor, let's clarify one thing: This animal

Well, I know that, for some time,

cows and horses disappear often!

If Kawamura recovered his memory,

maybe we would have an explanation.

What are you doing?

Look at them, how beautiful they are!

What a delight!

They laid eggs!

Shigeru!

Calm down, Shigeru!

Breeding!

Shigeru!

Kiyo... where are they?

Do you feel better. You have recovered your memory.

Finally!

It's him, I'm sure of it!

Thank you.

Would you like me to believe...

that this beast was inside the mine!

Exact.

I saw a giant egg,

Well. Now we know who we are fighting.

It's in the mine.

Extraordinary!

Let's move!

Let's go.

There should still be remnants of the shell!

Right.

Who knows...

Here you are! Watch!

It's a piece of the shell.

- Hey! It's collapsing! - Let's run away!

Quick, run! Get to safety!

I have the results.

Ninety per cent.

Exact.

I also got the same results

with the electron microscope.

Take a look.

Incredible! It looks like a normal egg!

It's the size that is the problem.

You can tell how big it is by its curvature.

Give it here.

It's hard to believe that it's just an egg.

He knows? The story of the phoenix was coming to mind .

However, in this case it is not a legend.

Of course, please keep it a secret for now.

- But... science... - Thank you, goodbye.

It helped us a lot.

Gentlemen, excuse me if I lecture you.

We know a lot of things by now,

thanks to the analyzes carried out on the shell.

This one, which we have conventionally called 'Rodan',

it far exceeds the measurements of ancient specimens.

The computer also tells us that the simple movement of its wings

to create a destructive impact with the air

that damages everything.

Professor, a question.

Tell me.

that brought Rodan to life?

Commander, I'm not sure yet,

but I have a theory.

In recent years, repeated experiments with the "H" bomb

they have upset the natural balance of the Earth.

caused Rodan to wake up from his 200 million year sleep.

Even probable.

Professor, do you have any idea how Rodan succeeded

to emerge into the open air?

Do you see this card?

Between the crater of Mount Aso and the coal mine,

Starting from here,

and crossing some passable ones,

There he is! It's really him! It's the cave monster!

Soon! Notify Headquarters!

Right away!

Stopped!

Yes, let's do it.

Damnation!

Planes 2 and 3 do not respond!

This is Lieutenant Imamura calling base.

Rodan is heading towards Sasebo.

Received. Push it towards the sea.

Push it towards the sea!

Received.

Let's go away!

Get to the road immediately ! Hurry up!

Come on, let's go!

I got it!

Rodan is running away, but we must have hit him!

Soon! Move! Everyone stay safe!

Give orders for him to be surrounded!

Right away.

Command all troops. Concentrate around the building

where the monster is, and once they arrive on site

open fire.

Commander!

Emergency!

There he is!

We need to get him away from here! Transmit the order to the planes.

Warn the pilots! Let's head for the new target!

- I'll do it immediately! - Well.

An impressive thing!

Hey, what about Rodan?

and together they also devastated Yamaga.

In the last few days, no reports of Rodan.

Not even the aircraft's radars located him.

Do you think he might have hidden in a shielded place?

There is a reason. He feels a kind of instinct,

We must not forget that Kawamura

he saw the egg hatch in that cave,

No sign.

Here it is, look!

It's him, there's no doubt about it!

As we thought.

Meanwhile, the second team

Commander... did you think that you could cause an eruption?

What are you worried about? It would be useful to us, right?

I wouldn't say so.

Sorry, I don't agree.

We will evacuate the population immediately .

I wasn't just talking about the people.

There are forests, animals...

Listen to me, right now

we have to make a choice.

The two monsters are dangerous.

Has he forgotten the loss of life?

Get on the buses, move, quickly!

Come on come on!

Get in, wherever you find space!

while the rest of the troop

Yes. I wanted news on the clearance operations.

Give the order to launch the attack in a few minutes.

Yes. Communicate the order to the operations team.

Sissir

Headquarters calls team 'A' and 'B'.

Get ready to launch the mass attack.

Breeding!

- Shigeru! - They're all gone!

Sorry, Shigeru...

I thank you...

- Come on, let's go. - Yes.

The teams await orders.

- Tell them to attack. - Immediately?

- Instantly. - Attack!

Attack!

Gentleman!

It's just as I feared! The volcano. It's about to erupt!

And now?

Nothing.

We will continue with our plan.

No, sir, not yet.

Continue!

Watch!

Communicate the order to cease fire.

Yes, sir, right away.

The two monsters are dead.
