"I can't take care of my child anymore,

so I let him under your responsability.

I hope he will look like his father and that you'll take good care of him.

I only ask you to name him after his father and mine :

Tom

Marvolo

Riddle."

THE MASTER OF DEATH

15 years later

Alohomora

I was in the library the other night,

And I read something rather odd abouta bit of rare magic.

It's called, as I understand it. A Horcrux.

Split one's soul ?

Murder.

Can you only split the soul once ?

For instance, isn't seven.... ?

It'll be our little secret.

"Go, Moaning Myrtle, go!"

"In the loo, when you belong!"

Enough !

"Et corpus meum et custodierit

me nutrit saecula.

Sine paenitentia discernebam pars animae meae

et custodierit

me morti et vivat in aeternum.

When I finally tracked down my father...

Oh, here you are !

I've been looking everywhere for you!

The train leaves in an hour.

I know.

Did you talk to Dippet ?

Yes. He turned down my application.

And Slughorn coudn't interfiere in your favour ?

My relationship with Profesor Slughorn has a more useful purpose

than just making a good impression on the Headmaster.

Oh, I thought that...

Well, you were wrong, Avery!

Anyway, when do you start working at Borgin and Burkes' ?

Next tuesday.

I'm waiting for Mr Burkes to give me my salary to leave the orphanage.

I'm not planning on staying there all summer.

All right... We'll keep you a seat?

Yes.

You will also tell Mulciber and Rosier that I've got a job for them.

Okay... nothing else ?

Make sure we'll be alone in the carriage.

Fine, see you later then.

Wait.

I've to leave you with something.

Take it.

Put it in a safe place this summer.

You better not lose it.

Fine but what is...

Good afternoon Helena

Good afternoon Tom,

I've been wondering when I'd see you again.

I'm sorry, I have been very busy recently.

Yes I know, your exams...

and soon, you will leave Hogwarts.

It is a shame Professor Dippet refused my application.

I would have spend more time here.

You are unique Tom, do not ever lose that.

I am convinced that you will do great things.

I will.

Now, I will only be with the other students,

those who care about me only because of my legacy.

Helena, we've talked about it...

Try to see reason.

I can relieve you from your burden.

Tom...

Trust me.

I will destroy it.

I won't let you down.

Mrs Ogden, do you have a minute ?

Hello Septimus, what's happening ?

I'm with Agent Scott, in the house of the muggle who was attack in Little Hangleton

Our agents are interviewing the gardener,

but Reyne is feeling something.

What do you think Reyne ?

I don't know yet...

But dark magic was casted here.

Very powerful magic. That's why whe need you here.

Is the muggle's police already there ?

Not yet, we're doing our best to make them late.

Perfect, I'm on my way.

I brought you this.

Oh Tom, you shouldn't have ! You're too kind to me...

Sit down, sit down.

Well, what is the reason of your visit this time ?

Mr Burkes would like to make you a better offer about the armure you own.

500 galleons seems to be a reasonable price...

Slow down, slow down,

or I will think that you come to me only because of my trinkets.

That's why I'm here.

I'm just a humble employeer who does what he's asked to.

Mr Burke would like to know if...

Oh enough of your Mr Burkes!

I've something to show that he's never seen.

Can you keep a secret Tom ?

You have to promise me not to tell him.

He will never leave me alone knowing what I have these objects.

And I don't want to sell them.

But you,

you will like them because of their historical values

and because of the galleons you could get by selling them.

I would be pleased to see what you'd like to show me, Madam.

Great! I'll get them.

Take a biscuit !

Isn't your house elf here ?

She's resting upstairs. She is getting old, you know...

First my favourite.

I think you are going to like it a lot.

I wonder if you know what it is...

Take it, look carefully.

A badger...

Then I belonged to...

Helga Hufflepuff, exactly !

Have I never tell you that I am one of herdistant descendents ?

This cup has been in my family for generations.

Beautiful, isn't it ?

I heard it has all sorts of powers,

but I've never tried them out.

I only keep it safe here.

I think you'll better like this one.

Of course, Mr Burkes knows I have it because I bought it to him.

I think he'd like to take it when I'll be gone.

Slytherin's hand...

Yes, indeed !

It was very expensive,

but I coudn't miss such an opportunity,

I needed to add it to my collection!

I heard Mr Burkes bought it to a poor lady

who had no idea of its value.

I guess he paid it a small pittance...

But here it is!

Wonderful, isn't it ?

For this one too, people say it has many powers

but I also simply keep it safe.

That's it for today, my dear ! I hope you liked it !

Are you feeling good, Tom ?

Yes, I'm alright.

Have you seen something ?

It happended again. The same vision.

A green light.

It's a murder.

She seems terryfied.

So did he.

I'll always remember it.

You're right, we have to tell Ogden.

There's no need, Weasley. I'm here.

What do we have ?

Dark magic was casted here...

Very powerful...

One like I have never felt before.

Reyne, focus. Tell me what you feel.

A spell was casted here...

but not by a wizard...

not even a human-being.

A house-elf.

What ??

We just found her, she was hidding upstairs.

A female.

Does she know something ?

She just confessed to the murder.

She said she poisoned her.

Not a human-being...

That's not very clear, I'm going to question her.

Sirs, this is Avery.

See, just like us,

Ralph and Marcus claim the purity of their blood.

They're going to make very good recruits.

Thank you, my Lord.

I have what you wanted ... my Lord.

Very good. Show me.

Is it complete?

Yes.

I finished it earlier today.

What is it?

A detailed map of the Ministry of Magic.

How did you get it ?

I put a spell on William Alderton,

a wizard who worked there.

Impero ?

As you see, nothing resists me.

Even the largest organizations have their weaknesses

Together, we'll harness them.

So, which one them will go there ?

I'm afraid their first mission will not be as thrilling as yours , Avery.

You see, before you arrived,

I was telling to the Thorn brothers that we will go on a trip.

But...

You'll be the one to go to the Ministry.

Find a way to get a trainee entry pass.

Find all the informations you can about us.

Despite my effort so that it doesn't happen,

I suspect them to keep me under surveillance.

I want to make sure the Auror Office doesn't have anything on me.

I trust you Avery.

You've always been loyal to me.

Do not desappoint me.

Surely, my Lord...

Where will you go?

In Albania.

Next sunday, we will go at twilight, in the Saranda Forest.

I have something very important to find.

What, my Lord ?

I'll keep it to myself. You will only have to have my back.

It's the second time this week!

First the collector and now this muggle.

And without any rational explanation...

This remind me something...

a muggle, and it was his brother-in-law who had been accused!

I remember!

But I've never been sure of it...

Hm.. I leave you to this,

I have an appointment with the Ministry.

Goodbye.

Hello Mrs Ogden!

Hello Avery.

Here are the letters you asked for.

Thank you.

...Hm, is that a pensieve ?

Yes...

I use it to put my thoughts into order.

Well.. I've got a lot a work to do.

Have a nice day !

Of course. Have a nice day too.

Avery?!

Take your wands out.

Check the surroundings and stay watchful.

(Rowena Ravenclaw voice)

"It's in Albania.

In the Saranda Forest.

I concealed it at the foot of the largest tree.

No one's ever found it.

I trust you, Tom.

Don't fail me."

Avada Kedavra!

I want one of them alive !

Go away!

Accio

Reyne, no!

Put your wand down!

It's been 5 years since I started my rise to power.

I killed many people.

I recruted many partisans,

even among your most loyal co-wokers!

I'm the most sought-after wizard of England,

and it is today,

when I'm going in a remote country

and only warned a few of my servants,

that a pathetic Auror

and the only 2 minions of the Ministry that I couldn't corrupt,

found me,

and vainly hope to take me to Azkaban!

I'll only ask you once :

who detrayed me?

Unlike you may think,

I am not the only one to resist

to Lord Voldemort !

For now.

Avada Kedavra!

Crucio!

Say it.

Tell me !

Tell the name of the one betrayed me !

No!

Alright.

Then if you won't tell me,

you will show me.

Legilimens !

Avery?!

Where will you go?

In Albania.

Next sunday, we will go, at twilight in the Saranda Forest.

I have something very important to find...

Well Avery...

Was your internship at the Ministry successful?

What did you hear about in the Auror Office?

Hm, they investigate on a witch case...

and on a muggle hobbo...

Both killed in unfathomable circumstances...

Go on.

And on a man too...

A muggle...

who lived in...

Yes?

Where did that muggle live ?

Here...

In this house...

His brother-in-law was accused,

a wizard.

Well, well...

That's funny.

Because I exactly killed a muggle,

here,

in this very room.

As I said, my Lord, they think that...

That his brother-in-law murdered him,

yes.

A clever plan I imagined, of course.

I have to tell you about my fears, my Lord.

I think they have suspicions about us..

That is not an issue anymore.

Ah...

And your trip ?

Have you found what you were looking for ?

Oh, we've found a lot more than that.

Have you seen our common friend Ralph these past few days?

Do you know why?

Some Aurors were waiting for us in Albania.

They tried to stop me.

Unfortunately, Ralph received a spell.

His brother had to take him back here in a hurry.

He is dead.

That's unfortunate, indeed.

Faithful partisans are so rare.

I cannot trust everyone.

Anyway, you've managed well, Avery. Congratulations.

You can go now.

Oh, Avery.

I have one more question for you.

Can you tell me...

if the Auros do not know what we are doing,

how did they find me ?

I.. I don't know, my Lord.

I'm going to tell how they found me.

Someone told them,

someone who knew my plan,

someone I used to trust.

NO !

Say it!

Say my name!

Say the name of the person you betrayed!

Say my real name !

NO....

Vol.. Voldemort !

You swore allegiance to me.

But you betrayed me.

You will die.

No!

There is no need to beg me.

I will not to kill you.

Not me.

"It's official, Professor Dumbledore becomes the Headmaster of Hogwarts,

following Armando Dippet who...

Dumbledore will officially begin as the head of the school at the start of the school year 1957.

We wish him good luck and...

It's the 15th of May 1962

and Nobby Leach was just elected Minister of Magic.

His election is already contested

because he happens to be the first Muggle-born Minister.

The oppostion ask for his resignation...

Today, the 3rd of Febuary 1979,

Newton Scamander, the famous magizoologist,

receives the Order of Merlin Second Class.

He became famous for his work on the magical creatures from all over the world,

even if we must not forget the New York events which...

The year 1980 only has begun ,

that some troubling disappearance have already been reported.

Some muggle-borns were found dead.

According to the Magical Law Enforcement Patrol, a terrorist lead is considered even if..."

My friends,

time has come.

Our world has never suffered this much

and it is because of these unworthy races who take advantage of our powers,

our knowledge and our security.

Muggles have spend their lives chassing us

because of their fear and ignorance.

But it is time to rebalance the situation.

We have seen too much Wizards' bloodshed.

I refuse to let Muggle-borns perpetuate their lines

and spread their impure blood.

My plan works perfectly...

but it is time to accelerate.

We've already made progress, my Lord.

The Lestranges and the Malfoys are ready to support you in the event of war.

Perfect.

War is pending.

If the Minister refuses to come to his senses,

I will kill him.

And I will kill all the Aurors of the Ministry if I need to.

My Lord,

and Dumbledore ?

Dumbledore is an old fool.

I do not fear him.

He is a powerful wizard...

Enough!

I'm the greatest wizard of our world!

Dumbledore cannot do anything against me.

Soon,

he will bow down to me

and we will be fearfull to even pronounce my name

as everyone else.

It is time for fear to spread.

Soon,

everyone will fear Lord Voldemort and his adepts.

You will keep on gathering new followers.

Come closer.

With me, you will be protected,

you will be respected,

and you will be feared.

We are now connected.

Your loyalty will be rewarded

but remember,

there is no room for traitors among us.

My Lord,

what about Snape's prophecy ?

I will deal with it myself.

Godric's Hollow - October 31st, 1981.

«Dear Dumbledore,

The Fidelius charm seems to work well.

Lily is worried but taking care of Harry helps her to forget.

Sirius and Lily didn't want me to tell you that,

but I have to let you know in case something happens to us.

You have to know that we changed our secret-keeper

It's Peter now and not Sirius who submit himself to the Fidelius charm.

Sirius thought he would a too big and obvious target to Voldemort.

He thought that Peter would less draw attention,

and I think he is right.

Do you have any news about Frank and Alice ?

Harry grows up so fast.

Lily says he looks like me but he has her eyes.

I'm waiting to hear from you. Take care.

James Potter.

PS :

I packed my Invisibility Cloak,

I want Harry to have it,

I will give it to you when we will meet again.»

Harry!

Hurry!

Avada Kedavra!

Harry…

You're so loved...

Harry, Mama loves you.

Dada loves you.

Be safe.

Be strong.

Get out of my way !

No, not Harry...

Enough.

Put him down.

Please, I'm begging you... Not my son!

I will not say it again,

get out of my way, you fool.

Avada Kedavra !

Avada Kedavra !
