=Recruit A General to Lead the Troops=

=Episode 4=

Those shopkeepers have actually joined hands with Qingfeng Stronghold.

Now that they've joined forces,

no one supplies us anymore.

They've cut off the source of income for our Shihou Stronghold.

Hahaha...

Brother.

Brother.

You're the boss or I'm the boss?

You're the boss.

Brother, sit.

Weren't we just putting on an act in front of those shopkeepers?

Were you too carried away?

You rascal.

Let me tell you.

Those shopkeepers teamed up with Qingfeng Stronghold.

They've made money.

Those old fools dare to make a fool out of me.

Brother, what should we do?

Chen Xinrou.

If it weren't for her,

my stronghold wouldn't have fallen.

My brothers wouldn't be dead.

That's right.

Eighty-one men.

A full eighty-one men!

Eighty-one men!

Only the two of us survived.

Brother...

You've stirred up my grief again.

Brother, I've found out.

The culprit is the new husband Chen Xinrou

just brought home, named Li Chengyu.

Li Chengyu?

He helped Qingfeng Stronghold out of crisis.

He is indeed talented.

Hmm.

Tell Yun to bring him here, I want to see him.

All right, I'll go at once.

What is this?

Who are you?

We have no grudge, no feud.

What are you doing?

How do I reach that secret agent?

He has a unique peacock mark on his body.

You can find him through that mark.

I'm also one of His Majesty's men.

You're a secret agent too?

Wait, you... you're Yun.

Every agent bears a mark.

Show me your mark.

Hey, hey!

I'm new here.

I haven't had it done yet.

I am a general.

Why waste words with you?

(General) I am the General God of War.

Is that enough?

The General God of War?

You are the General?

General...

You seem so excited to meet the General.

General...

Please, save my family.

Shihou Stronghold has taken them.

They forced me to set the fire.

And now,

they want me to bind you and take you there too.

General, I had no choice.

I beg you to act.

If you are willing to rescue my family,

I will tell you everything I have found out.

What do you know?

I know where they hid the key evidence.

All right, but your clothes stand out too much.

Change, and let's go.

Yun!

Yun!

Li Chengyu, what on earth are you doing?

Why are you here?

If I hadn't come, I wouldn't have known what you were up to.

And I trusted you so much.

Well.

Another woman shows up?

Li Chengyu, our leader said this,

you've got talent.

Why not join our Shihou Stronghold?

But only you are invited.

The rest, kill them.

All right.

I'll go with you.

You'll go with them?

They're from Shihou Stronghold.

Ah!

Overestimating yourself.

Yun.

This...

Why does she cough blood every time she uses that move?

(Qingfeng Stronghold) I know you didn't kill Yun.

And I never poisoned you.

It wasn't you who poisoned me?

Then what was it you fed me?

A tonic.

A tonic for what?

I don't know what it's for.

See for yourself.

You're using me as a test subject?

Go after whoever poisoned you.

You may leave the mountain now.

(Leaving the mountain?)

(I just learnt the evidence is in the Treasure Pavilion.)

(I can't leave.)

You're asking me to leave?

You still don't trust me.

What can I trust you with?

Mr. Qian treated you as an honored guest.

Yun trusted you, not me.

You knocked me out in front of Shihou Stronghold,

and yet we still made it back alive.

Li Chengyu, give me one reason to trust you.

Chen Xinrou.

What if I like you?

♪Being unnoticed, yet I still tell you I love you♪

What?

♪But my confession is drowned out by the wind♪

Since things have come to this,

I won't hide it anymore.

Chen Xinrou,

I like you.

From the first moment I saw you,

I realised you were nothing like the rumors.

You are different.

Gentle and gracious.

Not even rumors could sway you.

When everyone else doubted me,

only you...

Only you gave me this chance.

I truly don't want to leave.

But if you insist on sending me away,

Ah?

Fine, I'll leave.

Who would want to stay in this wretched place anyway?

Did my act just now seem unconvincing?

I thought I played it quite well.

Yet she still saw through it.

I feel like I'm getting used to this body.

Ordinary moves aren't a problem anymore.

But whenever I use that charged technique, I cough blood.

No, I'll try again.

Ah...

Still the same.

Erniang.

Hm?

What sort of person do you think Li Chengyu is?

Rubbish.

We chose him to bring fortune to the stronghold.

But ever since he arrived, nothing good has happened.

And every misfortune is tied to him.

Leader, you were right to drive him away.

Keeping him here would only bring us harm.

As expected, no man is any good.

Brothers!

Our big brother has spoken.

We'll guard here at Qingfeng Stronghold,

on the only way down the mountain.

If anyone comes alone,

we strike!

That's right.

Ha!

Isn't that Li Chengyu?

Brothers!

After him!

Stop!

Hm?

Take him.

What's wrong?

I've been poisoned by Soft Muscle Powder.

It's too cold.

What are you doing?

Keeping warm.

Get off.

Alright.

Hey...

Move closer this way.

I didn't mean anything.

I just don't want you freezing to death here.

Hey, don't fall asleep.

If you sleep now, you'll never wake.

Be quiet.

Don't sleep.

Let's talk instead.

I've nothing else to do anyway.

Come on, tell me.

Your Qingfeng Stronghold,

why do you have such a deep feud with Shihou Stronghold?

Why should I tell you?

Hey.

If we really die here,

I reckon,

I'll end up back delivering takeaways.

By then, even if you want to tell someone,

no one will hear.

Brother, those two are locked in the dungeon.

Catch.

Both of them were caught by you.

I truly favor you.

Give me a reward then.

Applaud.

Brother, what do we do with them?

The woman,

dispose of her.

As for that pretty boy,

if he submits, let him go.

If he refuses, dispose of him too.

Alright.

Bring the axe.

Hm.

Hey.

I'm just saying,

has our stronghold grown this poor?

Where's the meat?

You eat it?

I didn't.
