Well, is there anyone else you can call?

I don't know, like an uncle? Maybe a cousin?

- No. She doesn't stay in touch with her family.

- Well, look.

We're gonna figure this out.

Together. Okay?

- Okay.

- Ben, I'm glad I ran into you. - Hey, Jeanie.

- Jeanie Blassette.

I'm in charge of youth outreach and welfare.

I also run the summer camp Tracy attended.

- Wow. Cal Jones.

Ben's been working for me at the Crossing.

- You didn't tell me you got a job, Ben.

- I just started there, so...

You here visiting someone?

- Actually, I was just in with your sister.

The hospital reached out to me. They were a little concerned

because they haven't been able to reach your mother yet.

- Uh, she was just out of town with her boyfriend,

so, she's on her way back in now. But thanks.

- Well, I'm really glad to hear that.

- Um, I'm gonna go back in and see Tracy if that's okay.

- Of course.

- Can I go get those markers that I left in the car?

- Yeah, sure.

- Thanks.

- He's a good kid.

- He is.

So, you brought Tracy to the hospital?

- I did.

- And did you speak to her mother?

- No, why?

- I just want to make sure they're being cared for.

- And if they aren't?

- Then we'll have to consider other options.

- Like what?

- Foster care.

- Yeah... Well, uh...

I will do my best to keep an eye out.

- I appreciate that.

Here's my card. - Thank you.

- In case anything comes up. - Yeah.

(loon call)

(distant voice): Please, if you just let me explain, okay?

- You told me that you loved me.

You convinced me to marry you

and then you left me and I never heard from you again.

- Don't you want to know what happened?

(sombre music)

- Hey.

- Hey. Edna said you came by.

- Yeah, you know, um...

actually I'm kind of busy right now.

- I thought you wanted to talk?

You're leaving?

- I just think it'll be the best thing for everyone.

- You were just gonna disappear again?

- Me being here is not doing you any good.

I just don't want to hurt you again.

- No, you don't get to leave

without giving me an explanation.

Not this time. - Okay.

(soft music) (sighs)

- Tracy?

(knocking on door)

Hey, it's Cal. Can I come in?

(soft music)

- Oh, my keys.

Tell me they didn't... no.

- I was done my assignment.

And I was headed back to the airport.

(sighs)

Back to you.

When...

my vehicle was surrounded.

They pulled me out of the car.

They put a hood over my head.

And they drove me out to a holding area.

- What?

- I was taken hostage.

And I was held captive for three years

until I was finally released.

- The scars on your back?

Oh my God, Liam...

(shaky breath)

I'm sorry.

- It's okay. You didn't know.

- All these years I thought you abandoned me.

I was the one who abandoned you.
