Episode 16

I'm really sorry for before.

But don't worry, I didn't see anything.

Did you rush in with your eyes closed on the whole way?

It's fine, don't mention it anymore.

But you rushed in here so happily. Have you found a way out of here?

How is that so easy? This mountain valley

is pitch black when night comes.

No matter what, we have to wait until dawn to search for it.

That's right, here, I've picked some wild fruits for you

and herbs to heal your wounds. Eat.

I didn't think that you'd know so much. You can even differentiate medical herbs.

I thought you only knew how to practice martial arts.

No matter what, I used to be a pedant.

Although my knowledge of most subjects is superficial,

when it becomes important,

I can still defend myself.

Well, that's not too bad. Plus you know martial arts,

so you're really both cultured and good at martial arts.

Don't say it like that

I will feel ashamed.

I am the one feeling ashamed. If it hadn't been for rescuing me

you wouldn't have fallen down here

not knowing when you're going to be able to get out.

I know, you've already done your best.

We can only blame my martial arts skills for not being good enough,

otherwise how could I have left you like this.

No, don't think like that

if it wasn't for you, I would still be locked up at the bandits' place

There's no telling when I would have met with misfortune.

Since you'd escaped, you shouldn't have risked danger returning to save me.

Actually, in my heart

I've already made a decision. As long as I, Zhao Zi Long,

still have one breath left, I will never abandon you or not take care of you.

These words are from the bottom of your heart?

The medicine is about done, I'll help you apply it.

In your opinion, is it okay if we don't apply medicine on my back?

I don't think that's possible. Even though the injuries are superficial,

if we don't apply medication, what if they get infected?

I'll have to trouble you then.

Try to endure it.

Qing Yi, what is it? Does it hurt?

It's okay.

What is wrong with you three, the dishes are getting cold, hurry up and eat.

Let's eat well and drink well.

Fill it up for me.

Brother, I also want to drink one bowl.

You..

I also want to drink.

Father, I also want to drink one bowl, can I?

Okay, drink. It's also good to drink some.

Liu Shen, fill it up for Fei Yan.

Esteemed Master,

we don't have any reasons for not being happy.

Today is Zi Long's birthday,

let us all, happily,

celebrate his birthday for him. -Don't talk about anything else.

Feel free to drink. Cheers.

I know it's hard for you two,

but for whom is it not hard?

The past few days, Master and I made a few trips with rope,

but the Valley of Death is too deep. There's no way to see the bottom.

Liu Shen, don't say any more.

Zi Long won't die.

I believe that he simply wasn't able to

find the way back for a moment.

He will not die.

Qing Er is right, Zi Long will not die.

He will definitely return a few days later.

Let's drink.

Come, let's eat with Master.

Only drinking and eating heartily,

without mentioning anything else. Come!

Careful.

There...there's someone over there.

You saw someone?

I didn't see clearly, I'm not sure.

But in the past two days, I also encountered a similar situation.

But this place, why would there be people?

We shouldn't bother about it.

Zi Long, let's continue looking for a way out.

Qing Yi, I think we have unknowingly

been going in circles in this valley.

It's as if there's no road out of here

no matter how we search.

So are we just going to be trapped till we die?

Don't worry, Qing Yi. Believe me, we can leave this place.

We've walked for a day. Are you hungry?

I'll find something to eat. You should rest first.

Qing Yi, you should eat something, even if it's just a little.

I have no appetite. I'm really very worried.

I believe we'll find a way if we don't give up.

As long as we keep trying, there'll be a plan.

We'll find a way if we don't give up. As long as we keep trying, there'll be a plan.

I hope that's true.

I always hear them speak of the world.

How big do you think this world actually is?

I was thinking, the world that people see

is only a million times of this valley,

yet because it is big, it is numerous and disorderly.

Qing Yi, if this valley could become a small world of its own,

then the peace and quiet here

would be what people hope for.

That's right, peace and quiet.

But haven't you always wanted to be the hero who brings stability to the country?

The concept of peace that you speak of now,

doesn't it conflict with your previous desire to learn martial arts?

Of course it doesn't. I've always thought that

practicing martial arts isn't only for strengthening oneself,

but more importantly, to develop the heroic spirit of helping the weak and punishing the strong.

Martial arts and battles are all to fight for peace.

They're methods that cannot be helped.

I always thought that people with better martial arts skills

the more you should value the citizens' well being.

Zi Long, the way you think always leaves me with much to think about.

If more people were as deeply passionate as you,

perhaps this chaotic world could be a little closer to peace.

Zi Long, what have you discovered?

Qing Yi, hurry and look. What's carved on this rock

seems to be a new style of wielding a pike.

Could it be that an expert from another lifetime left this here?

How strange.

Thank you, Young Miss. I don't know what Young Miss likes.

The next time I come, I will prepare some as well.

The gifts from the Marquis Wen, Diao Chan sees them as treasures.

A few days ago, in order to rescue me, the Marquis Wen

was even willing to release the criminals that Grand Master wanted to capture.

Diao Chan cannot express enough gratitude.

Not to mention the criminals,

even the rebel traitors Yuan Shao, Cao Cao so long as can exchange for your safety,

I would also release him.

Marquis Wen cares for my daughter's heart, heaven and earth can see that.

Marquis Wen, please.

Daughter, come and massage your father's back.

Your Godfather is getting old. If I sit for a long time,

my back and waist ache easily.

My daughter is also getting older.

She can't keep massaging my back for much longer.

It's time to look for a good husband.

I've never asked the Lord Minister,

surely it can't be that Young Miss is not yet betrothed to anyone?

Looking around, those who can catch my attention

are few and far between.

It is only that those I admire may not necessarily fall for my daughter.

That is why she is yet to be betrothed to anyone.

Who are the people Minister Wang admires?

This...we shouldn't talk about this

in case I am rebuffed.

I still desire Minister Wang's wise words.

Daughter, you can go first.

Yes.

Marquis Wen,

Who were you speaking of admiring just now, Lord Minister?

Under the sky, the only person is Marquis Wen,

but Marquis Wen is a great hero.

How can you be interested in my unworthy daughter?

Who says that? Who says I'm not interested?

If I betroth my daughter to you, you will accept?

Can I take your words seriously?

The matter of marriage is no joking matter.

Minister Wang have treat me so generously.

It will be a pleasure to announce and settled mutually in days.

Marquis Wen, please hurry and rise.

Since the matter of marriage is settled,

then we must follow marriage conventions step by step.

In this life, if I can have Diao Chan as my partner, what is there to regret?

I will immediately prepare the canopied bed and brocade blankets, burn incense,.

and build a music pavilion in waiting for the beauty.

Zi Long

Qing Yi, this spear method is really exquisite.

In total, there's 7 x 7 = 49 moves.

Contains, attack, defence, horseback.

on foot, fight in dual, battle array.

Really, there's nothing it hasn't covered.

Just like God is taking care of me.

I must achieve mastery through comprehensive study of this spear methods.

These past two days of observation, I feel you've progressed a lot.

Zi Long, I have something for you.

Here.

Qing Yi, you not only have a pair of skilful hands,

you're also kindhearted.

It's good that you like it.

Wherever in the world Zi Long goes, Qing Yi will follow.

Zi Long, quick take it and try it.

Marquis Wen accompanied Grand Master yesterday to hunt in the mountains.

as luck would have it, he caught a small deer.

Marquis Wen knew Miss Diao Chan likes small animals.

Specially ordered me to deliver these two.

The mother deer, did she get killed during the hunt?

No, because the imperial tutor wants to drink fresh deer's blood,

so the mother deer is detained in the tutor's residence.

She still hasn't been killed yet.

Father, think of a way to save her.

But imperial tutor wants to drink deer's blood.

How can I stop him.

Return and tell Marquis Wen there's no need to stress over sending betrothal gifts.

Just say the Miss likes the mother deer that's been recently caught by the Grand Master.

Let him think of a way to get it, it'll do as a betrothal gift.

- This...- This... you still don't understand?

Quickly go back and report to Wen Huo.

Yes, my Lord.

You're tired. Drink some water.

Come.

Really looks good.

This face, from what I've seen, is the most beautiful.

The most delicate and charming face.

You say, you're a slow-witted teacher,

When did you learn how to praise someone?

But it's so fake, listening to it doesn't sound very sincere.

No.

I... I really think that.

Ok, then let me ask you.

Sister Diao Chan and I, who is better looking?

You.

Look at you, you've exposed yourself.

In future, when you praise someone be more sincere, don't casually exaggerate.

I... I...

I just knew you're clumsy in speech,

As anticipated, you can't give any explanation.

Okay, you don't have to explain anything, I understand.

As if I'll be jealous of Sister Diao Chan.

She's not like she's from the human world.

Her whole body has an exceedingly refined smell.

Tell me, she's this goddess like beauty

could such a hero can match up to her?

I know there's very few heros.

at least be like Lu Bu, only then will do.

You need to be exceptional. Among horses is Red Hare, among men is Lu Bu. ( Red hare is Lu Bu's war horse in Three Kingdom Era).

That Lu Bu, whether be martial arts, in looks

Extremely matched with Sister Diao Chan.

But he's helping Dong Zhuo, to take the side of the evil-doer. So he's not a hero.

It's a pity.

Zi Long, in future, you must follow the correct path and do good.

Otherwise, even if your martial arts is good, even better than Lu Bu

I will look down on you.

Miss, tomorrow Dong Zhuo wants to come to our residence,

He's got the Yi Tian Sword and Qing Gang Sword

Old Master has asked me to ask you.

Once it's implemented, there's no way of going back.

Have you really thought it through.

Tonight's moon is beautiful and round.

Tonight, Chang'An City, is so tranquil and serene.

Miss.

Let me quietly look at the moon.

Perhaps after tonight, even if the moon is more bright and clear.

My heart, won't be able to be this peaceful.

Okay.

Faster, faster, faster.

Faster, faster!

Grand Master is able to get hold of Yi Tian Sword and Qing Gang Sword, these two godly weapons.

It's really god's will.

In the future, your achievement will certainly determine to give you to govern on equal level with Duke Zhou.

Minister Wang, you praise me too highly, much too highly!

How can it be too much?

Grand Master rouse yourself to support Han Dynasty military glory in four corners of the world.

Actually your early achievement is high above that Duke Zhou governed.

It's really extremely catching up with Gao Zu, Guangwu.

Since ancient times the rule of the land has not only been occupied by a single family name,

A virtuous person should let yourself reside in certain position.

So let Yao to abdicate to take in Shun. Shun to abdicate to give to Yu.

To rely on Grand Master glorious achievement. If you control the people from the late precedent,

you will constantly take over the whole country.

This will then be pleasing to both the Heavens and the citizens.

Minister Wang speech is serious.

How would I dare to have such a thought?

Since ancient times, the virtuous will cut down the tyrannical, those without virtue yield to the virtuous.

Really belong to heaven's law and earth's principle (right and proper).

Now Yi Tian sword and Qing Gang sword also all return to Grand Master.

It can clearly be seen that Grand Master indeed is Mandate of Heaven under your command.

Although Minister Wang's words praise me too highly,

your words please my heart greatly.

To celebrate Grand Master for taking hold of the two God's weapons to protect the country.

I will let my daughter to show a little entertainment to give to Grand Master to liven things up.

Good, good!

Grand Master, please.

Please.

Grand Master, come drink wine.

Good, good.

Here.

Grand Master...Grand Master.

This woman is very pretty, I want her to stop and come here.

Minister Wang, hurry and let her come forth to meet me!

You're still not hurrying to pay your respects to the Grand Master?

I pay respect to Grand Master.

It's fine, it's fine.

Hurry and serve wine to the Grand Master.

Both her beauty and talent is absolutely rarely seen in the human realm.

Minister Wang, this beauty is...?

She is my Goddaughter named Diao Chan.

Diao Chan.

I asked to leave first.

It's really both her beauty and talent absolutely rarely seen in the human realm.

This is clearly a fairy descended to human realm.

Since Grand Master likes Diao Chan so much,

Wang Yun will let my daughter serve in your household.

I wonder if Grand Master would accept.

Minister Wang is so gracious, how can I repay you?

Diao Chan can be at your side serving day and night, that is incomparable honour.

That is the best favour you can do for me.

Then, Lord Minister, when can you send her over?

I will call people to prepare now, and I will personally send Diao Chan to your residence.

Good, good, good!

Feng Xian.

Foster father.

Today is a happy day for you. As a groom, what are you doing here?

Grand Master has already helped you bring my daughter back to his residence.

Marquis Wen, Grand Master has ordered us to decline all visitors today.

Even if the Emperor arrives, we will not admitted him.

Pay respect to Grand Master!

- You can all leave.- Yes.

Greetings Grand Master.

I've already finished combing and washing the face.

Yes.

I have never before seen such a beautiful woman.

Are you a fairy from Heaven or Chang'e?

I hope Grand Master will not dislike me.

How could I, how could I?

I will definitely treat you as I would treat a fairy.

What is it, beauty?

Have I scared you?

It's all my fault, I'm too uncouth.

You must be tired today.

Then...I'll come back tomorrow. I'll come back tomorrow.

Grand Master, please hold on.

Can it be, that you really dislike me?

It's not like that, it's not like that at all, beauty. You've misunderstood.

Since that's the case, please come in and lie down, Grand Master.

Good, good!

Thank you, beauty.

Good, good, good.

Qing Yi, you should be know clearly

that I care about you.

If I've done something to make you unhappy, you should tell me clearly.

As if you cared about me.

I think that all along you've only cared about your new weapon style, if you've learnt it, if you're familiar with it.

All you do is practice every day.

Do you know how long you haven't had a proper conversation with me?

Based on the situation, it seems that you really don't intend to leave this Valley of Death.

As the man I have to rely on, aren't you going to think of a plan to leave this horrible place?
