God of War, Zhao Yun

Episode 14

Just an Iron Mask Hero

can make us lose so many people.

Now even Gao Ze gets involved.

Who are able to uproot both of them at a time?

Who?

You? Or you?

Big brother, here is a letter sent by arrow into our village.

Why are you giving to me?

Give it to the second master.

Silly! Didn't you know main master is illiteracy?

-Back off!- Shut your mouth up!

Big brother,

here says that Xia Hou Qing Yi is in Zhen Ding County

and she knows Iron Mask Hero Zhao Zi Long quite well.

What means knowing well?

Are you silly? That means they fell in love.

What did he mean by sending this letter?

I suppose he wants us to know that

if we want to catch this Iron Mask Hero,

we have to use this girl, the daughter of Xia Hou Jie.

Miss, I saw Gen Chun took a few people towards the county.

I don't want to go home yet so let's hide from him.

I need to take a break.

Go. I will wait for you here.

I brought over hundreds soldiers to barracks.

Did they mess up anything?

No. Everything goes on well.

That's good. Is there any news about the heisters in Hu Ya Mountain?

-No.

If keeping this way forever, it will be wonderful.

Gao Ze!

Stop. How can a woman have such big feet?

General Gao, I was commanded to bring Miss back home.

Help.

General Gao, something bad happened.

What makes you such nervous? Where is your miss?

Miss..Miss was taken by the bandits`.

-What?-What?!

Quickly. Get inside.

Presumptuous! How can you treat her

, the Xia Hou Princess in such bad manners?!

Since you know I am the daughter of Xia Hou Jie, you still dare to catch me.

Aren't you afraid that my father will bring his troop to destroy your village?

Princess Xia Hou, don't be presumptuous!

This is my place. It will never be your turn to teach.

Remember, your life

depends onme.

Then tell me, why do you catch me?

All right. There's no necessity to hide from you.

My third brother was killed in Zhen Ding County.

I must revenge.

Since you helped Iron Mask Hero many times,

don't blame me

for targeting at you.

If you have guts, kill me right now.

What's all these nonsense for?

Not killing you

must for some reasons.

Moreover, you are still the daughter of a Prefecture Sheriff.

For me,

you still have a little value.

Come!

Get the princess back to jail.

-Yes. Move!-Don't touch me!

Quickly! Get inside.

Now the only way is to attack Hu Ya Mountain.

We can not only rescue Miss but also uproot those bandits.

With only a few soldiers in your hand to attack the village?

There are over thousands bandits in Hu Ya Mountain.

If we attack without considerations, they will hurt Qing Yi.

But if we don't do anything as you say,

what will happen to miss?

- Then..

Generals, saving a person if fighting a fire. You cannot waste time any more.

General Gen, Miss is the princess of our Xia Hou. You must save her.

How can I not be in a rush? But I only bring dozens soldiers

while General owns hundreds. He chooses to do nothing.

How can hundreds soldiers defeat thousands bandits?

I cannot sacrifice their lives.

General Gen, please calm down.

Let me figure out the way.

You are the general of Xia Hou and you are the fiance of our miss. You both are the closest people for her.

But you both seems such calm while miss is in danger.

It seems that I can only ask help from our lord.

-You can't!Why can't?

What am I supposed to tell the lord that I am in Zhen Ding County but the miss was caught by bandits?

Now we have to rescue the miss to cover the mistake.

You are still thinking of yourself now!

If you didn't help the miss run away, how can things be like this?

You..

You guys only think of yourselves.

It seems that I can only ask help from some outsiders!

Who are you looking for?

Zhao Zi Long!

Here you are.

Why didn't Fei Yan and Qing Yi come to eat?

Fei Yan is going to Wooden House to get something.

Qing Yi and her servant girl haven't come back since morning.

It's more than half a day. What are they doing?

What more than half day?

Just a short time. You already start to miss her!

Qing Yi is pretty and clever.

The point is that she has saved Zi Long's life.

Such a talented and wonderful girl,

How can Zi Long stop missing her?

Shut up! Don't think that I have no idea about you.

You are trying to combine them everyday.

I know. You are just afraid that

Zi Long takes away your Fei Yan.

-You...- You, you, you. What are you going to say!

It seems that Qing Yi is coming back.

Bad things! Miss has been taken by the bandits!

Take away! I don't eat such dirty things from your village!

Second Master.

Why are you suffering yourself,miss?

Eat well. It's not the time for you to die.

Such a pretty face. If you are starving,

you won't look beautiful any more.

You bastard! If you have guts, kill me now!

Listen, never thinking about getting any benefits

by threatening my life.

The master and I are not willing to kill you.

Leaving you alive will bring us

more benefits than you thought.

You, don't regret.

If you don't kill me now.

when I run away from here later,

I must ask my father to ruin your village!

By then you will all die.

Ok. Let's see.

Bastard! You Bastard!

Zhao Zi Long, quickly think of the methods! Don't you have lots of ideas usually?!

You saved Bao Yan and Fei Yan before.

You must have the way to save our miss.

i can save them because they are not in the village.

There are lots of opportunities on the way.

But once getting inside the village,

I even have no method.

Zi Long, you don't have any thoughts for that?

The main reason is that we are lack of hands.

Now Gao Ze is the only one who owns most soldiers.

It seems that I can only seek help from him.

Zi Long,

Zhao Zi Long, how can you still eat?

How much responsibilities that you have to take for letting Qing Yi be captured?

Actually..

I thought you are a reliable man. But what happens?

Why not you look after her?

Why did you let her caught by bandits? How hard it is to defeat them.

Why are you safe? Why is it Qing Yi who is in danger?

Now I hope I can kill you right now.

It will be ok if Qing Yi can return safely.

But if not,

I will make you pay for her death!

I know you care for her. You hate me.

You are right. I am the one who brings troubles to Qing Yi.

I won't reject any duties for that.

If I cannot rescue Qing Yi, I will kill myself.

General Gao, let's discuss about how to save her.

Big brother, I think they must have some actions

to save Xia Hou Qing Yi tonight.

So how are you prepared?

Don't worry. I have settled everything.

Just waiting for them to fall in my traps

and lose their lives.

Good job.

Brothers,

now we can drink however much we want.

Later to kill however many we can!

Come! To the bottom!

Brothers, before

we take a few wealth from the local people.

But it's only enough for our food and drink.

Now we will take over Zhen Ding County

or even the whole Changshan Prefecture.

To expend our territory

the present is a wonderful chance!

Big brother! We will all listen to you!

Listen to Big brother!

If the soldiers dare to

take a step over Lei Chi in Hu Ya Mountain this time,

they will at lease lose half of their men.

We will take the advantage and attack Zhen Ding County

After taking over the county,

we use it as a basement and

get our soldiers and horses ready

to attack Ji Zhou and You Zhou!

It will be so easy!

Big brother wise！

Take over Zhen Ding County!

All the soldiers listen!

I will lead all of you attack Hu Ya Mountain tonight

and destroy all the bandits!

You must kill the enemies without fear!

The ones who cut the head of Du Jue off

or keep Princess Xia Hou save

will all have big rewards!

General Gao,

I am willing to join this mission.

I hope you can approve of it.

No. This an official action. Do you think it's something fun?I cannot let you be reckless!

I am not reckless. I do prepare well and hope that ..

No. If you don't get out, I will kick you out in person.

Since Zi Long has such mind to help,

let him go with us.

General Gao, I am just afraid that he will pull our leg and only cause the failure.

I think he is not that kind of person.

General Gen, are you afraid that I will render meritorious service.

If you dare to speak rubbish again, be warned that I'll use martial law to discipline you.

There's no need to discipline me.

If you really want to take care of me, why don't you push me onto the battlefield

to court death?

So you wish to court death?

Okay, then I won't stop you. Go and court death as you wish then!

Generals, I have other military strategies to discuss with both of you.

- You!- General Geng.

Zi Long's military strategies,

what's stopping you from hearing them?

Zi Long, come inside with me.

What's wrong? Have you thought of a good plan yet?

I think we should stop wasting time.

I have a strategy. Generals, please look.

Though Hu Ya Mountain is not so high.

there are forests around it

on both northern and southern side.

Only the village gate is on the east,

and the back door is on the west.

There must set lots of traps.

Normally, the jail is set somewhere far and remote.

Maybe Qing Yi is right locked up there.

The aim of this battle is to rescue Qing Yi.

So here, the west side door,

will be our first target.

That's right.

Right. If General Geng knows it, the bandits must know is as well.

So they will devote most forces on the side door.

Relatively, the force on the main gate will be weaker.

So we could make a feint to somewhere and attack in another place.

Attack another place?

Yes. Show them our weakness and attack with our strength.

Showing them east while heading to west.

Look, we are here and make a feint at the main gate.

The bandits must transfer their forces here.

Then bring a group of top soldiers and attack the side door unexpectedly.

Break the jail rapidly and rescue Qing Yi.

Moreover, we use the forces at the main gate as a cover

which help us retreat quickly.

Alright, this is a good plan.

This is exactly what I was thinking at first.

So it's settled, we will follow this plan of action.

Now I will divide the missions in detail,

is it ok for you, General Geng?

I agree. Speak.

General Geng, you bring hundreds soldiers to attack front door.

Zi Long brings some best soldiers to strike and rescue Qing Yi.

I will lead dozens of soldiers waiting halfway, if the bandits chase us,

I am taking charge of covering the main forces to retreat.

After so many years,

the officials finally decide to send armed force to suppress bandits.

Their hand was forced.

I heard this time the bandits have caught some important person.

No matter what is the reason, they're still removing evil for the citizens.

That's right, removing evil for the citizens!

That's right, good.

Good, fight well, fight well!

County Magistrate Gao! County Magistrate Gao!

No matter the reason, they're still removing evil for the citizens.

Yes.

To remove evil for the citizens.

We can live good lives now!

Exactly, that's great!

To remove evil for the citizens.

That's great, that's great.

Good, good.

Brother, Zi Long, may Heaven protect you, send you victory and bring you home safely.

Du Jue, I advise you,

you better set the princess free as soon as possible.

Accept the amnesty and spare your life.

Otherwise, I will flatten your lair

and make sure you die without a burial site.

Useless coward, so you don't dare to do battle?

Come, release the burning arrows!

I'll burn your main gate and see if you come out or not.

~

Let's go.

Kill!

Come, kill your way inside!

Giddy up!

There's a trap! Archers, prepare to stand firm!

Hide, hide!

Today's wine was good.

- Felt great.- Your treat next time.

- Sure.- Drink more next time.

Speak, where is the prison?

Let's go.

Zi Long, Geng Chun has attacked by force.

Why isn't he following the plan?

He'll ruin everything by being so short-sighed.

Then what should we do?

If our main strength is lost, we will surely lose.

Let's provide help before anything else.

Let's go!

Brothers, let's fight our way out!

Trying to run? It won't be that easy.

Bring me your life!

General Geng, hurry and retreat!

You are losing, but you still want to fight me?

Gao, I'm going to have you pay for old and new grudges all at once today.

Zi Long!

- Zi Long!- Hurry and leave!

Zi Long!

Don't come over! Leave!

Zhao Zi Long, don't any of you thinking of running!

- Go!- Faster.

Gou Dan, Gou Dan.

Wake up!

You fell asleep, huh?

Open the door and lock this fellow in.

Hold it!

Run! I said run!

Benefactor! I hope you can leave me your surname.

If we are fated to meet again, we will.

What are you daydreaming about? Hurry up, faster!

I know, Big Brother.

Get in there.

Zi-

Who is this rascal? He's pretty tough.

Tough? Tough how?

According to them, this fellow is the iron-masked hero.

I don't really think so though. He was too easily defeated by us.

It's not bad.

You've got skills.

We just beat the Jen Ding Xian army.

Gou Dan, go and drink with the other brothers.

Yes, quickly, quickly.

No need, brother, I'll help you keep watch.

You guys go and drink.

We just finished drinking!

Is that so? But I can't drink wine.

It's nothing, I'll help you keep watch.

It's not about you guarding or who's guarding.

The two of us brothers will play here.

I can win some money in the night. You got that?

That's okay then. You've worked hard, Big Brothers.

Hurry and leave, hurry.

- Go, go, go. - You've worked hard, Big Brothers.

Quickly...come on, so how's this?

The whole thing.

Qi Yi, are you okay?

My father is Xiahou Jie after all, they don't dare to do anything to me.

But you, why have you been locked up?

Originally, I was working with the officials to come up the mountain and rescue you,

but we didn't think that we would be caught by their trap

and surrounded.

Fortunately, Gao Ze and Yan Cheng safely escaped from danger.

What you did was too dangerous.

These mountain thieves are beyond our imaginations, they're not so easy to defeat

No matter what we say, it's my fault.

Not only were the officials soundly beaten,

but I've also caused you to be caught.

No, don't blame yourself!

If it wasn't for me, you wouldn't have incurred the mountain thieves' hatred.

so it's me who endangered you.

These mountain bandits aren't just aiming to avenge for their third bandit leader.

They seem to have a bigger plan.

Qing Yi, don't be afraid.

We'll definitely leave this place.

Not only did we not save Qing Yi, even Zi Long has fallen into their hands.

Zhao Zi Long, Zhao Zi Long, all you care about is that scumbag!

I'm injured, I'm bleeding!

The plan we agreed upon, why did you change it as you liked?

We fell short in this cause.

If it wasn't for Zi Long and I rescuing you, it wouldn't be as simple as your wrist bleeding.

You wouldn't even still be alive.

I-

Qing Yi is my fiancee.

I respect her choices and gave her freedom.

As long as she was happy, I was happy.

If she was willing to have some fun in Zhending County for a few days, why should I force her to leave?

If it wasn't for your arrival, she wouldn't have left the city to hide or been captured by the mountain thieves.

At the time I blamed Zi Long for not taking proper care of her,

but I didn't take care of her either.

You should blame me.

General Gao, everyone knows your feelings for Young Miss.

Although your marriage was arranged when you were children,

in my lord's heart, you are still the irreplaceable, good son-in-law.

Don't speak of it anymore. We have to discuss how to rescue Young Miss and Zi Long.

We have to hurry and rescue Young Miss, but it would be good if the mountain thieves killed Zhao Zi Long!

You will have one less romantic rival.

Shut up!

In the thieves' hideout, you didn't see that

he only fell into the thieves' trap in order to save me!

He is my benefactor.

If you curse him again, don't blame me for getting angry.

Okay, I just won't say any more.

Report!

General, the bandits have sent a message.

If I want to destroy Zhen Ding County, it will be so easy.

But considering the harm on civilians.

you have three days to raise a hundred thousand taels of silver.

Then the lives ofthe princess and the citizens will be saved.

Otherwise I will kill everyone in the county.

A load of rubbish!

That silver is inconsequential compared to Young Miss' life!

We should first collect the silver from the citizens.

Don't speak rubbish, would you?

Right now, we only have a thousand taels of silver, but the thieves want a hundred thousand.

We don't have excess money to give to the thieves!

Then what should we do?

Brothers, this celebration banquet

won't be considered long even if it lasts for three days and three nights!

- Good!- Drink wine!

Cheers!

Big Brother, the two prisoners we caught,

what do you intend to do with them?

Xiahou Qing Yi

is a very important pawn in my hands.

I'm using her to extort a hundred thousand taels of silver from Zhending County.

Good, good! A hundred thousand taels!

Second Brother,

Geng Chun is a coward.

Maybe he'll really hand the money over meekly.

Even if there isn't a hundred thousand taels,

it can't be that much less.

This man, killed my third brother!

I must kill him!

Why did you abandon Zi Long and return on your own?

The mountain thieves are so cruel, Zi Long will lose his life.

It's my fault, I didn't drag him along.

Forget it, it's not your fault.

We grew up with Zi Long since young.

How can we not know what kind of temperament he has?

As long as he's decided on it,

no one can change his mind, especially if he's trying to save someone.

That's enough. We'll definitely come up with a plan to save Zi Long.

That's right, I wonder if Master is back yet.

That's right, we can find Master!

He'll definitely have an idea.

Even if he's not around, we can go to his adviser's old residence to find him.

Father, what did you gain by going to your adviser's hometown this time?

Even though I didn't find any trace of

Yu Yi's Hundred Battle Strategies Part 2,

I discovered another important clue.

What important clue?

This mask is so broken,

by the looks of it has has to be more than a decade old.

At least twenty years.

So how rare is this mask?

According to Zi Long, the general who forced my senior to his death

wore this exact mask.

I get it! This means the one who attacked master into the eddy of quick sand may

be the same one who killed Zhao An Uncle.

I guess it is the same person.

Qing Yi, are you afraid?

I was afraid before.

I am afraid of darkness and coldness,

and that bandits would do bad things to me.

But now that you're here, I'm not afraid.

I never imagined that even in this prison, you would be here.

My heart feels much steadier.

Yesterday, Yan Cheng suddenly asked me

what our relationship was, if it was no longer a normal friendship.

He just loves to get to the bottom of everything.

So how did you answer him?

I told him to keep thinking about Sister Fei Yan.

He should stop worrying about our issues.

Actually, it's not like you don't know my heart.

In this period of time, you've helped me and I've helped you.

I really never imagined

that between us, we would become so close.

The reason I was reluctant to leave Zhending County

is because I keep thinking of a person here.

Qing Yi, you're an official's daughter,

and me...our backgrounds are as different as earth and sky.

We can never find common ground.

I don't dare to get carried away by wishful thinking.

Surely you can't think I'm a person who values status and riches so much that I only look at family background?

Even if you're poor, so what?

I think a good man should possess determination and ambition.

Although you have nothing now,

I feel that you're a simple man with aspirations,

who can make my heart feel steady

and peaceful.

Qing Yi...

What I mean is that someone with high aspirations is worthy of my admiration,

and someone with an honest nature

will make me feel more peaceful.

I remember before we went to the Zhao family's tomb,

you drank wine and vomited blood in pain.

I could see that you are a passionate man.

At Luo Yang, you didn't care your life,

but risking danger in Dong Zhuo's residence to save lives, and even assassinated Dong Zhuo.

These actions, although they were a bit stupid,

they plainly displayed your sense of justice and heroism.

Qing Yi, you're someone who knows and understands me.

Thank you.

During this time we've known each other,

occasionally, you were stubborn and unruly,

but there wasn't a moment when

I wasn't moved by you.

The first time we met by chance,

you ,a rich young lady, came far away to help me in Zhao Village.

making me feel

your boundless kindness and your warm heart.

At Luoyang when we were delivering the swords, when you put aside your pride to beg Gao Ze,

I was so touched I didn't know what to say.

Basically, I, Zhao Zi Long, owe you too much.

Since you know that, you can repay me a few times over.

I'm planning to be a debt collector for many years.

Good!

Even if I want to repay my debt, I have to first think of a way to leave this place.
