You finished three rounds of missions. So can you tell us how you feel,

and how you're preparing for the final performance?

[Manon] I think we're all really excited for the finale

and for the fans to see what we've been working on.

We're gonna perform for the first time to a big audience.

It's also the first time we're gonna do original songs.

It's just so cool that we are the first people

that get to present this song to the world.

[Mitra] The live finale is a culmination of the 12 weeks of the missions.

It's the last challenge into whose gonna be selected in the group.

This will be streamed to millions of people around the world.

We are exactly ten days out from our show date.

[Mitra] There will be three performances,

two groups of five,

and one of all ten contestants.

[Humberto] There is an element of fan voting.

So the fans will get to participate in who makes it into the group.

There will be judges there

who will be picking their favorites

in each performance.

We come back out to stage,

and then each of the three judges will pick one contestant

that they thought performed the best.

And then we'll go into team number two, "Dirty Water."

[Mitra] The groups were chosen strictly on balance.

We had to make sure that one team

didn't have a stronger skill set than the other team.

[Brandon] After we come out of "Dirty Water," same thing.

The judges will have their judges' pick.

[Mitra] We're gonna have early fan voting.

We will also have live voting while the live finale is going on.

And then of course, the judges' evaluations will be taken into play.

Our last performance, "All The Same," with all ten contestants.

This is the last performance that the girls will get to do

with all ten final members before we announce the final six.

"All The Same" is the only performance

that we will have on-stage live performance.

[Jay] The thing was to show something original,

rather than doing covers.

To test different genres and themes of the songs

so that we can see what would be this group's identity.

[Brandon] The voting is now closed.

And then after that, we'll go into our final elimination.

[Bang in Korean] We are going to select the final six members

by combining the fan votes and the judges' scores.

But since I have my personal preferences,

I thought about increasing the weight of the judges' scores

to get the results I want.

But that defeats the purpose of a survival show

and betrays the trust of the fans.

So I can have my hopes up, but I can't do much about it.

[Lara] When I came here, I was like,

"Oh, I just have to make these executives fall in love with me."

But now it's executives and fans,

So it's kind of like they don't know me.

And I'm just like, "Believe in me. Know me."

So that's what matters to me.

I really wanna work on my confidence

[Megan] There's so much going on with the finale and rehearsing and stuff.

But I think we're all pretty...

like, emotional going into it.

Because it's, like... This has been our life for so long.

[Marquise] It's so insane how far we've come.

A lot of us here have been doing this for, like, almost two years,

and we're down to, like, the last week.

This is like the hardest day out of the year so far.

[Manon] This feels unreal.

Like, singing in front of others is fairly new to me,

so I tend to get in my head a lot.

But I'm also excited.

Like, I've been working for this.

I'm also, like, ready to show off a little bit. [laughs]

[Emily] Right now, I'm just, like, trying to take it all in

and just have fun with the girls.

We know how heavy this is,

that we're trying to spend as much time in the present as we can.

If that makes sense.

So how we're gonna pick is through a combination of fan votes

and judges' scoring.

[Charlie] One of the many things that this program's taught me

is that you can never write anyone off.

[Missy] Maybe we start with Yoonchae.

I think her youth is her strength. It could end up being her downfall.

[Charlie] Even if she doesn't make the group this week,

I think give her another 18 to 24 months and she'll be better than we can imagine.

Okay, Sophia, I have seen when she does check out,

and she can come off boring.

[Son in Korean] She doesn't have any problems.

She's good in vocals and dancing, she has talent and wit.

But there's nothing about her that makes me go, "She's the one."

[Missy in English] I really, really like Marquise. A lot.

But I think her weakness is her confidence.

[in Korean] I have to really focus on Megan

in order to see her charm.

[in English] With her, it's just the fan voting.

There seems to be some disconnect, which you can't put your finger on.

I don't know why the fans will not resonate with her

and why her voting is so low.

And I'm not sure...

I'm actually not sure, like, as a mentor how I can help her improve it.

Samara, she's a very talented vocalist.

Her dance is not to the par of the other girls.

One thing I worry about with Samara, just the injuries.

The other day, watching her in rehearsal, as soon as it stops, she has to sit down.

Ezrela, the fact that she's here in our top ten is wild.

[all laughing]

It's so wild,

especially if you go back to some of our first conversations about her.

As adorable and cute as she is, and I've seen how much she's grown,

I think it's the star quality.

I think that needs to keep improving.

[Missy] Jumping to Lara.

I feel that Lara has a lot of work to do.

[Charlie] Her vocal talent is amazing, but she's still trying to find her voice.

And I wanna hear Lara sing Lara.

I don't wanna hear Lara sing like the Beyoncé version

of what she thinks is needed.

[Mitra] I agree.

[Missy] Daniela.

[Mitra] For me, it's her attitude.

I think there's things she needs to work on.

If you're gonna be a star, you've gotta encompass everything that comes along.

[Missy] Emily.

[Charlie] When you're trying to figure out whose gonna be in the group,

I think a lot of it is about how they complement other people.

I think she shines every time you see her in a performance.

We know, as a team, how she is with the other girls

and how supportive and kind and fun,

and just she's hilarious to be around.

Manon.

The only thing for me is just the dedication.

But I feel like if she can just get over that and do it,

there's a star there.

[Charlie] If one person isn't gonna do it, it's gonna bring everyone down.

They all have to be giving the same amount,

and they're giving up so much of their lives to get to this point.

With her, I just wonder how much she wants to really give to it.

[Mitra] I wanna help shape this group,

so I have to remind myself that I believe in my opinion.

I try to let my emotions not get the best of me,

because when you are this involved, it's hard not to.

But at the end of the day, it's my job.

Convincing myself that I'm in the group

has been easier than when I came from the Philippines to here

and convincing myself that I was in the program.

I have told the girls a few times,

I've always wanted to have boys when I have kids.

But now,

going through this journey with all young women,

that I would love to have a girl.

They're just so full of life and have so many different emotions,

which also makes them so difficult.

But I would really love to experience that with my own child.

When I first joined, I was like, "How am I gonna debut?"

You know, "How am I gonna keep up?"

I wasn't that disciplined,

'cause I never had, like, intense rehearsals like this,

I didn't know that etiquette that well.

But I'm so happy and so proud that I've learned that.

[Daniela] Before the program, I didn't have a lot of girlfriends,

so I think one of the biggest things that I've learned

is to be uncomfortable

so that you can get comfortable with yourself.

I think the biggest lesson that I've learned

is probably how, like, strong your mental is.

It clicked for me once I tapped into my confidence

and let that perfectionism side of me go.

[Yoonchae in Korean] I was so happy to work

with the other talented trainees in this program.

It motivated me to push myself harder as well.

[Lara in English] Even though I feel like I've changed a lot...

Maybe not my makeup. We're never gonna change that.

But I learned that, like, I can never

let my, like, self go, because like that like...

Then there's nothing special about me anymore.

[Sophia] The whole experience

was so much tension and just so much uncertainty,

so much competition and pressure.

And now that we're in KATSEYE, it's like what we've been fighting for,

it's what we've been working towards.

And so now that we're here, it's like we made it, and it's just...
