Original subtitles

It is here, Nemo.

Atlantis is here.

What was that thing? A living fossil.

A spinoid. How many? Two or three. A hundred?

Go! Go now!

Take it.

Nemo.

My fiancé is aboard the Nautilus. Miss Humility Lucas. You can see that it is

possible to be English and good.

Children can be cruel.

Leave off your accountants!

There was one exception.

Billy, my best friend.

You're not hunting Nemo for them, are you? Goodbye, Mr. Kosh.

Can't be good news that Her Majesty's government are taking an interest in

company business.

I can handle Parmore. Just find me the Nautilus.

If Nemo's headed for Halvar, he's going the wrong way. Not if he plans to cut

through here, the Arctic.

We have the advantage of speed.

So we'll be there waiting for him.

Come here.

Good boy.

This is your size.

Give me that.

Thank you

Thank

you

So beautiful

Then why would have loved this place?

Still can't believe he's gone

We'll

soon be in the Northeast passage then on to how the I Think

he would have wanted you to have it

After we have our treasure... What then?

Engine room, now! We need everything she has to give!

All crew, access stations, ahead foot!

We're at the party now, Chuck. Ready to submerge on Nemo's order.

All right.

You know what to do.

We have to dive.

We wait until the last moment. I'm going to drive them onto the ice.

No, such a bad idea. Such a bad idea.

Faster, Captain.

We'll hit the ice.

We will not lose Nemo on my watch.

Flank speed.

Put your back into it, laddies!

Flank speed!

We are running out of time.

Full astern.

Full astern!

All stop, I said!

All stop!

Your recklessness is going to get every one of us killed.

I have him right where I want him.

Master the Marines!

One of us.

What do you see?

Guns.

A lot of them.

Any luck?

Not yet.

This is your problem.

The U-bolt is broken.

We're going to need a forge.

Now, listen carefully.

This is what I need you to do.

Blasters doing what? You want this small orphan man to build a bomb to kill us

all? Turad, please.

We're not going to die.

Not if my plan works.

It's fine.

Or we can, of course, surrender.

Good. That settles it, then. Giacomo.

You have a steady hand?

Well,

he's not as tall as I imagined.

No sudden movements.

Take the shot.

Take the shot! Sir.

Colt! Do not fire.

Nemo is mine, is that clear?

He wants to talk.

Then let's talk.

Surprised to see me.

You looked like a man who could take care of himself.

I'm afraid you were correct.

Our U-bolt has snapped.

Allow us to use your forge.

And you have my word, we will tow you out of here.

Your word?

Is it worth anything?

You help us, we help you.

If not, we all die here.

You really want to take your chance in this place?

I could very easily seize the Nautilus and tow the Dreadnought out of the ice

myself.

You see him? I do.

He's holding a dead man's trigger.

We have wired a device to blow a hole beneath the waterline. If you attack or

open fire, he will scuttle the vessel.

If you kill me, he will scuttle the vessel. You're bluffing. Spend three

years in Kalpani and tell me again I'm bluffing.

If I find that you've harmed one hair on Miss Lucas's head... Humility is your

concern?

Her fiancé is on board the Dreadnought.

She is part of the team.

I will not trade her.

If she wishes to join her fiancé, then that is her choice.

Do we have an agreement?

I would like young Blast to return to my crew, where he'll be safe.

Stand down, Captain.

I don't believe this.

What are you doing?

You ruined my life.

What are you talking about? That school was my one chance to make something of

myself. Billy, you're making no sense. Couldn't expel the prince for burning

those damn flags.

So I paid the price for you.

I didn't know. Don't lie to me. Easy. Don't you dare lie to me.

Easy, easy.

I didn't know.

I didn't know.

They told me that you'd left, that you'd moved away. They sent me away.

The schooling, the career, the life I was meant to have, all gone.

My parents died in the courthouse because I wasn't there to look after

them.

I failed them because of you!

I swear, I didn't know. I didn't know.

I'm so sorry.

I'm sorry.

I was of no consequence to you.

That's what you think?

You were the best friend I ever had.

This isn't you, Billy.

This isn't you.

We were brothers.

We were brothers.

That is the second time you have risked the life of every man on board. I will

not let there be a third

They agreed.

Let's get the cables fitted.

Wrap up warm.

Would you like to oversee the repairs?

I don't trust them.

Of course.

Blaster, Youngblood has... Captain Youngblood?

He's alive.

He asked if you would like to rejoin his command.

I agreed.

It's for the best.

Hey, this is for later.

Keep the others warm.

There won't be a later.

I don't understand.

Humility won't be coming back to the Nautilus, nor will I.

You don't know that. My job is to deliver her to the fiancé. I will do

that, and I shall move on.

Because that's what you do.

Because that's what I do.

Hopefully this won't take too long.

Sometimes these things can be tricky. Your fiancé is on the dreadnought.

I didn't tell you... It's your business.

Well, he's not my fiancé. My mother arranged it without my knowledge.

And he thinks you'll stay with him?

Probably.

Will you?

I'm sorry, I have no right to ask you. No, no, no, it's just... No, it's just

if... The U-Bolt, if we can get it fixed, I'm sure Ranbir can handle the

refit.

He's certainly capable.

Good.

So if you did decide to stay... Do you not want me to return?

I want what's best for you.

Humility?

Yes.

Let go of the chain!

Hey!

They're the reason we're in- in this godforsaken hellhole, lads. Hey, you

almost hit me, you ratbag.

Oi, oi, get out of there, will you? Come here.

Allow me to introduce the gentleman who killed that yellow-bellied friend of

yours.

No. No, you're lying. You're lying. You're a liar. What? Calm down, Ranbir.

Huh? I said I'm going to kill you myself. Come down, come down. Ranbir.

Oh, I wouldn't count on it.

You want to take a moment?

Huh? You won't see them again.

Wait. Wait for me.

Nemo.

My God.

What is she wearing?

Captain! Glad to see you made it safely to Bombay. Thank you.

Once more we find ourselves in a perilous situation.

So it seems.

This is the right, Honorable Lord... Alderman Pitt.

At your service, madam.

Might I say you're looking...

Absolutely ravishing.

Shall we?

Blaster! Captain.

You've grown, lad. It's good to have you back.

I've seen you before, you know.

Lady Hamilton, Sparkly Square. I admired you from afar. I wasn't aware.

In fact, I called on you. But you'd already run away to chase your dreams.

Oh. You are one of life's adventurers, Miss Lucas.

We have so much in common.

But first...

I thought perhaps we might start with some tea.

Start what exactly?

Lord Pitt.

Oh, please.

Lord Pitt, there is the rather urgent matter of needing to repair our

submarine before we all freeze to death on the ice.

There's no need to be so dramatic.

Miss Lucas, I have come a long way to rescue you.

Did it ever occur to you that I don't need to be rescued?

No. No.

Perhaps you could show me to the forge.

To the yes, I... Shall we? Straight to the what?

The woman working a forge.

How novel.

Rather unfortunate, isn't it?

Is it?

Oh, no, of course. At high time we had more of that sort of thing. My father

had a forge at his factory and made a point of teaching me.

Really?

Well, then, when we are married... You'll have a forge if you're very

young. Two, three, four.

Who's counting? Must get to work.

So you should.

Absolutely.

Charming.

Handsome. Doesn't eat with his fingers.

Tell me, when exactly do you earn your fee?

When you deliver me like a parcel?

It's never been for money.

Well, not only.

I gave her my word that I would protect you.

He will give you a good life. Good life? Doing what exactly? Being someone else's

property?

If you don't want that for yourself, why would you accept it for me?

Lieutenant. Captain.

It's all secure.

I'm worried about the men.

Seems very uneasy.

Well, do you blame them?

They don't like being stuck here.

Nor do I.

About time.

Perhaps we could organize something to distract them.

Idiots. Stupid game. Did she just catch that ball?

This game was everything to us back home.

The only chance we'd ever get to meet the British is equals.

That was a fluke! Well, there's only one way to find out then, isn't there?

No, we... Come on.

Ah, Crawley.

Good trip.

Not really, no, sir.

My lord.

My lord. I have been hearing rumours.

Uh, rumors, my lord? Rumors of a submarine that has been stolen by some

Indian upstart who's running rings around you.

A submarine?

Sounds like the stuff of wild fantastical novels.

Need I remind you, Mr. Crawley, no company is more powerful than Her

Majesty's government.

You do well to remember whom you serve.

What do you think you're doing? Need I remind you, sir, that at last count, the

company had a private security force of over 260,000 men.

Now that is, I believe, twice the size of the British army.

Little weak for my tail.

Really? Oh, oh, oh, is that so?

Then who are you going to tell about it?

A bond that is eternal.

The heat, the light, as one.

Molten life.

Well, that'd be good if I do say so myself.

I was wondering, my lord, perhaps you could help me find my father, Lord

Farley. Lord Farley.

It'll be my honor to help you, young man.

Lord Farley, you said.

Lord Farley.

You see, now that I think about it, I do know him. I've met the fellow.

Capital fellow.

Simply capital.

What have you done? My family crest.

You see?

Ah, yes.

I see that we share the acorn. The acorn is a symbol of independence.

Most appropriate, little man.

Tell me up chat your sporting man Have

to

take the fight to them

Ah, nice of you to join us, Lord.

Terribly sorry I'm late, lads.

Lester.

Join us.

What do you say, boys?

Let's give them a damn good thrashing!

This is going to be fun

That's more like it, my lord.

Let's put this ingrate in his place, shall we? Well said, sir.

Let's show this jumped-up little savage how to play, shall we, boys?

Come on, you all. Watch him now.

Yes, come on.

Oh, no.

Take it down.

Oh, good show, Harry.

I still don't know how to play this game.

What do you do if the ball is coming towards you? Hits the ball.

Ranvir, hey, come down.

Focus. Think.

Jagadish.

Go, Ranvir!

Go!

Nice work!

Do you have anyone else left to bat?

No. That's it.

Then it's Dreadnought's inning.

Come on, Dreadnought!

Well, it would appear that is all that the infamous Nemo and his crew can

muster.

Square on.

Nothing to fear, my friend.

Nothing to fear.

I'll bat.

I said I'll bat.

For the Nautilus.

Why? Why is he batting?

Belay.

You can't. You bloody well can't. You're one of us.

Are you sure you know what you're doing?

Gentlemen.

There's nothing in the rules that forbids it, is there?

No. Nothing at all.

What? They're short a bat.

No point winning if it's not a fair game, is there?

Traitor. You're a bloody traitor.

Lay on, Captain.

Captain, I really must protest. You see, if I think that if... Lay on. Fine!

Give me the bloody ball.

We'll bloody well play on that. With respect, sir, pull your head in and show

this turdcoat some justice.

Sixth round.

Looks like you haven't lost your touch, Billy.

This is mine.

Oh, this is mine for sure.

Step back, lads.

Your foot was over the line.

Damn your eyes, man! My foot was behind the line! Are you questioning the

umpire's decision? Are you going to give it? I most certainly am not.

Out!

Out! Out!

Out! Out! You're cheating!

Cheat! Cheat! Cheat! Cheat!

Cheat! Cheat! Cheat! Cheat! Out!

Cheat! Cheat! Out! Cheat!

Cheat! Cheat! Right here!

Back to the ship

For God's sake.

Faster!

Fun game, Captain.

This is for Jadish.

Back to work!

I say, bad luck on the game, old chap.

As one gentleman to another.

Gentleman?

Tell me, boy, are you hungry?

Lord Farley isn't real.

Lord Farley is a bloody...

Won't you join us, Billy?

On the Nautilus?

And go to London.

That is where you're headed, isn't it?

Into the belly of the beast.

I know what happened to you, Nemo.

And you want vengeance.

It's not that simple.

Not anymore.

Isn't it?

My father signed away his lands to the company.

That's what got my family killed.

He had no choice.

I read the documents. The company used his one weakness against him.

You were at school in England.

They could have done whatever they wanted to you.

He did what he had to do.

The company used your father to serve their own greed.

Won't you reconsider?

Come with us.

Help me defeat them.

You can't beat them, Nemo.

They'll always win.

You knew he wasn't my father, and yet you let me believe.

You let people laugh at me.

Blaster.

Blaster.

Ah,

the U-bolt is finished.

I shall return it to the nockless.

Excellent. Then you'll come back here to me.

I shall remain on the nockless.

No.

No one rejects me, especially not some woman who only proves what I've known

for a very long time now. Oh, what's that?

A little education's a dangerous thing. Now, give me the U-nut. U-bolt. Whatever

it's bloody called, I've had one of the troopers return it to the Nautilus. Oh,

boys! You will not be returning to those primitive brutes.

Primitive? Brutes.

They have more kindness, courage, grace and nobility, my lord, than you with all

your titles will ever have.

Pop. Jaggedish started a revolution.

Suyin feeds an entire crew from farm to algae.

Turan, where he writes the most beautiful poetry.

Some of it's not bad.

And Nemo helped design a submarine.

The first in the world. I could go on.

I'm sure you could.

Take them to my cabin. Bad idea. Just bloody crap. Oh, man.

My mother lied to me.

Whatever she did or didn't do, she would have done it for the best of reasons.

Lord, lady, prince.

Blaster, they're just words.

You already have a family.

Storm's coming.

Easy.

Miss Lucas?

Dress.

Thank you for shutting the door.

I think you can take off those ridiculous clothes and have tea with me.

I'm not wearing that dress. I will not be laughed at!

Who the bloody hell do you think you are?

You belong to me, humility.

Your mother already accepted the money.

What money?

Ah, sweetheart.

Your mother came to me asking for a loan to save your dear dead father's failing

business.

And I accepted.

On one condition.

Your hand in marriage.

Sir, my mother.

Traded me for the factory.

Now, sweetheart, put on the dress and have tea with me.

Hmm?

No.

Put on the dress. You put on the dress. Humility, you're being ridiculous. Put

on the bloody dress right now. Take your hands off her. This doesn't really

concern you.

You're hurting me. Take your hands off her. Don't bring me.

Run.

Gentlemen. Monsieur.

Archer!

Oh,

Archie. Hey.

Come here.

The U-bolt is fitted. Good.

Very good.

She's not coming, is she?

Fire the engine seal the hatches

Perfect

thank you

Miss Lucas humility

It's good to have you back

it's good to be back

Slow

us down

Nemo's headed for London.

Crawley'll have him killed.

I know.

That far enough, young blood.

Now sink them!

I gave Nemo my word, Lord Pitt, and for some of us on board this vessel, honor

still counts for something.

How dare I?

Good God, I'm sick of being lectured to.

If I must do this myself, so be it!

Get out of my way!

How's that?

That's enough.

Take him. Yes, sir.

Come on, you lordship.

They broke their deal. We have to dive. We can't. We're tethered to her.

Liars.

Take the gun.

He's not going to pin out of them chains.

Looks like the deal's off.

All right, lads.

Let's take him down.

First rate present.

Said heading three four zero You said the Northeast passage now we're going

under the ice Yes right under the Arctic Yes

Listen to me the company cannot be trusted It

will destroy everything that stands in their way I have no choice how long will

it take five possibly six days to Do we have enough air to last that long?

Set the heading.

Set the heading!

Am I the only one who thinks this is madness?
