Original subtitles

Previously on Finding Mr. Christmas Say Christmas!

Christmas! Seven holiday hunks were still in the running for a leading role

in a Hallmark movie. I'm going to need a volunteer.

No, Melissa, you can't volunteer.

In the festive face-off, it was Wipeout City.

No!

Then, in the Star Quality Challenge, they strutted their stuff to charm

Hallmark superfans. I'm going to sing a song for you all.

and answer some really tough questions. What's one thing that you would like to

redo? My mom had a stroke and never woke up, and so I never got that chance to

say goodbye.

Some shined. Are you getting warmed up? I'm getting kind of hot.

Others, not so much.

I, um... Angel faced a tough decision.

Will you be keeping the immunity for yourself, or will you be gifting it? The

person that I choose to have this immunity is Robbie.

Craig and Gabe landed in the bottom.

Gabe, you're going home for the holidays.

Now just six leading men remain as the hunt for Mr. Christmas continues.

It's so nice out, isn't it? I know. And this view is beautiful.

Yeah.

Sharing your mom's story last night. Thank you so much for that. I really

appreciate it. My mom got diagnosed with cancer.

Right before I'm about to come on the show, it was literally just like a month

and a half ago.

And I had to make that decision, like, should I come on to the show or should I

go be there with her? How did she react to that?

I spoke with her and she's like, just go do it.

It's not easy.

It's really hard.

I'm really feeling for him and I know that it's a really difficult thing to go

through. I am so sorry about everything that has been going on, but I'm so happy

you shared it because...

Sometimes it's hard if people don't really kind of understand it to like

talk about it or like open up about it. We're in different situations, but I

know that like the more that I'm able to talk about it, it helps me move through

it and like find peace with it. I already knew Robbie was a good guy. Just

being able to connect with him and find that friendship is amazing.

If you need anything while we're here.

or you need to talk about your mom, please know that, like, you can do that.

Same to you, you know, because sometimes even just talking about these memories

can be a lot. For sure.

How'd you guys sleep last night?

Yesterday was tough.

But, I mean, overall, it's a new day.

I would love to get outside and sweat a little bit, maybe kind of get my nerves

out. Same.

Start a new day fresh.

move around a little bit get in your body out of your head get the jitter

sound what is um one word that y'all are gonna

like bring into today vulnerability you know i came in kind of just willing to

go for it uh and that's all well and good but there's a whole other side to

it as well that i need to explore more Probably on the opposite end for me,

confidence. I feel like I need more of what you have, you know?

Take this.

Hey, all right.

I think we probably all could take something from each other. I'm waiting

on some vulnerability here. Oh, there you go. There's some vulnerability.

I'll give a little heart to everybody, you know?

Oh!

Hey,

let's go!

Being in the bottom two, my confidence was a bit shaken. The other guys are

really talented, and the last couple advantages from the festive face-offs

have been huge.

They're becoming more and more valuable.

I need one. And I need it now.

Oh, my God. Are we going in those?

And now, from the Finding Mr. Christmas marching band, please welcome Melissa

Peterman. Oh, wow.

Hey, guys.

Welcome to the Fa La La Lawn.

Let me hear you say it. Fa la la lawn.

Fa la la lawn.

I hope you stretched because we're about to have a ball.

Literally. Today, you will be rolling into the holiday cheer in giant

inflatable ornaments and bowling down tree-tied treasures like the hunks that

you are.

This challenge is wild.

What are you putting us through, Jonathan Bennett?

Here's how these trees will go down.

In two heats of three.

You'll jump into a giant ornament and race to knock down six trees as fast as

you can.

You'll be timed, and the fastest person out of the two rounds will be our

winner.

Oh, sick.

That's crazy.

Win, and you'll get an advantage in the next star quality challenge. Our first

group up, Marcus, you'll be in red, looking for the trees with the red

ribbon. Okay.

Craig, you'll be blue, looking for the trees with the blue ribbon.

And Davey, you're going to be yellow.

Now remember, the first person to knock down all their trees wins.

But be careful out there because if you knock down someone else's color, that

person gets the point.

Marcus, Craig, and Davey, go get ready. The rest of you can watch on the

sidelines. All right. Let's go, boys.

Let's go. Gentlemen, step inside your balls.

Oh, my gosh. This is real. But I've been thrown into some fires before and

haven't been cooked.

So I'm ready.

I've definitely never been inside of one of these inflatable balls before that

makes you automatically feel claustrophobic.

All right, my little hamsters, on your mark, get set, go!

Go, go, go, go, go, go! This is not going to be easy. We can't actually see

where the ribbons are at. They're facing the opposite direction.

It's kind of crazy.

Davey just knocked down one of Marcus's trees.

One for Marcus.

He's a giver. He's the gift that keeps on giving.

I'm going to have to be a little bit more careful about this.

Go, go, go, go, go.

It is just utter chaos inside this ball.

Davey's got one. There he goes. Oh, Marcus got the second one.

That was aggressive.

Oh, Davey got another.

Marcus has gotten two of his down. Davey's gotten two of his down. I'm

trying to figure out what's the quickest way to run, and I kind of figure it out.

I put my hands at the top, and I'm, like, using that to keep me balanced

almost. I want to make sure that these things break.

Oh, look at that.

Oh, man.

It works better if you're standing up.

Oh, wow. Oh, wow. Craig's got one down. Oh, here comes Davey. Oh, Davey.

Watch out of the way.

That's two for Craig.

Oh, my God.

Oh, my God.

He has three. Marcus has four.

Craig gets another tree.

Another one for Marcus.

Four trees for Craig. Oh, wow.

Oh, my gosh.

It is a tight race.

This is a very exciting day in sport.

They've all got five.

This is Davey's last one.

Good job, buddy.

I won my heat. Obviously, there's a second heat, but seeing how far behind

Craig and Marcus were was also encouraging.

He set the bar really high. Yeah, for sure, man.

Round two, Angel, you're going to be green.

Robbie, orange. And Rustin, purple.

I'm really going to have to give it my all.

Hopefully, I can stay safe and not get injured.

Davey did it so fast, and I know in order to beat him, I need to get a time

that's better than his.

Okay.

Oh my gosh! I could have died! Oh my gosh! But what a way to go!

Angel's moving!

You'll speak at my funeral, won't you?

Thank you.

Rustin's got one. Like a wrecking ball.

Robbie's got one.

Oh! Oh, we just knocked down one of Angel's trees. Angel is in the lead with

two. Watching Heat 1, I was able to figure out my strategy.

The fastest way between two points is a direct line.

I'm going to hit all the trees on the left, and then I'm going to hit all the

trees in the center and on the right on the way back.

Robbie got another one.

Oh, my gosh. Angel just knocked his third tree down. You guys are in it to

win it. I'm going at 100 miles per hour. I'm going wild.

Full throttle.

Rustin's got another.

Angel is on fire.

Angel has got his fourth one down.

Another point for Robbie.

Angel is in the lead with four, and Robbie and Rustin are tied with three.

That's four trees for Robbie.

Angel, don't backtrack. Great, Angel. Now what are you doing? Angel, you're

going the wrong way.

I didn't know if I was forgetting one tree, so I slowed down and lose my

momentum. Angel just had to turn around.

Angel, to your right.

Oh, Rustin.

Oh, Rustin's got another one down.

Robby's got five trees. He's in the lead.

Go, Robby. Finish up. There's so much chaos.

Rustin's got another one.

Angel has one more. I love it.

Jonathan, this is a dream come true. Angel has two more trees to get down.

Oh, Robby got his last tree.

Robby.

Robby crossed the finish line first.

Woo.

Robby, Rustin, Angel.

I'm here with some really physically fit guys, but I've kind of learned that I

can do anything and to not count me out.

The fastest times today were between Davey and Robbie, but it was literally a

matter of seconds.

Wow.

Robbie already has the advantage of a lot of experience.

I feel like I really need this one going into the next star quality challenge.

The hunk that took down their trees the fastest is...

Davey, congratulations.

Good job, Davey. Thanks, fellas. Good job, good job, good job.

Davey, how's it feel? You won a festive face-off. Yeah, it feels good, finally.

I haven't had an advantage yet, so I'm a little bit nervous with what's to come.

Do you want to know what that advantage is now? Yeah.

Davey, the star quality challenge will be an acting challenge, and you will be

able to sit and watch the other actors perform with me and Melissa.

That's another crazy one. That's a huge advantage.

So you'll be hearing the notes we're saying, the commentary we're saying, all

the things that we're pointing out that are going right, all the things we're

pointing out that are going wrong.

You'll be able to sit there and listen.

I feel good, I guess, that I got so close.

I'm sticking my feather in that cap, but a feather is not an advantage in a star

quality competition.

Coming up. Let's run it. That way we don't waste more time.

Brilliant. Yeah, so originally we were thinking that Rustin took charge.

Who is, like, your guys' leader right now? I think we've all contributed a

significant amount.

Those were awful.

They almost feel like they're overacting a little bit.

Touchdown! How old were you when you joined sports?

T-ball. So, like, the first time you could sign up for youth sports.

I was such an introvert and I was so quiet as a kid.

And I was painfully shy to and kind of through high school.

And it was sort of sports that had that built-in sense of community where you

automatically have friends.

I felt shy, introverted all through high school because I was chubby and I got in

shape and I still felt introverted. I felt like I was fake in shape. Like it

didn't really feel like it was me yet.

Sports was that outlet.

It kind of forced you to be extroverted. With every day, I feel like I'm growing

so much. I'm getting closer to the other guys. We help each other out. We root

each other on.

The moment I could walk, my parents told me I was always, I liked playing with

balls, basketball, baseball, the football, whatever.

A lot of the guys that I was friends with at childhood stopped playing

sports.

And a lot of them, you know, unfortunately, some of them are gone

now. So sports kept me on the right track.

And, you know, I definitely wouldn't be here.

So, you know, I'm grateful.

Sports is a good way to stay out of trouble as a kid, I think.

For me, it kept me out of trouble, you know? I played Division I college

football. A big part of that is because of my dad.

He pushed me. There were lots of times where it was challenging.

I set the bar really high for myself, and I have high standards for myself. I

expect to do well, and if I don't, I get frustrated.

It seems like we're all coming from just drastically different circumstances to

lead to the same place, you know? I really feel like we have such a bond.

It's become a brotherhood really quickly. You know, I...

Appreciate you guys for that. It's rare and it's special.

I'm going to miss you all as you keep going one by one.

Let's see what kind of advantage Davey gets. A smoker? A meat smoker?

Wow,

I like these looks.

Hey guys, welcome to the Christmas block party.

It's time for your annual neighborhood street snowshoe.

Wait, what now?

Snow-shell? Snow-shell? Snow and a social?

I'll take it. I like it. It's a snow-shell! We're having a snow-shell!

And this Star Quality Challenge, you guys will work in two teams of

three to perform the same script.

Your challenge is to make the scene uniquely your own.

The scene will be set at a merry lane mingle with all the chaos that happens

when you bring neighbors together.

Each group will have to decide who plays which part and how you will bring the

scene to life. Through your energy, your choices about what you do, and the way

you interact with each other. It's all on you. It's a Hunk production. Okay. I

like that. I like that.

We're looking for great teamwork.

And while you will work and act together, we want you to each find a way

to shine individually.

And to join the fun, this Hallmark star is an actress and producer you've seen

in movies like Santa Summit and Holiday Touchdown, A Chief's Love Story.

Is it Hunter? Is it Hunter? Is it?

Is it? It is.

Please welcome Hunter King.

Oh, my God.

I'm so excited. Hi, guys.

She is Hallmark royalty.

And I'm so excited to be doing this scene with her. I am so excited to be

here. I'm a huge fan of the show. I can't wait to meet all of you. Thank you

for having me. We're so excited you're here.

So they're going to be performing a scene in a group with you. Oh, wow. You

know, group scenes are some of my favorites to film. They're so much fun.

But there's a fine balance when you're filming them. You don't want to upstage

your co-stars too much the whole time, but you also don't want to fall into the

background.

I, sometimes, I like to steal a scene. You? Never.

I know you would never believe it.

But I do like to steal a scene. But I will say that there's a way to come in

and sparkle, make yourself noticed without upstaging somebody.

Wow. Great.

Team one is Robbie, Rustin, and Marcus.

Okay. Team two is Davey, Angel, and Craig. All right. All right. Let's go.

Let's get it, boys. Let's get it.

You'll have one hour to meet with your team and decide how you want to play

your scene.

Then you will just have 10 minutes to fill Hunter in before we call action.

Davey, since you're on the festive face-off, you're going to sit with

Melissa and I while the other group goes first.

Okay. Here are your scripts.

Determine who's playing which part and think about bringing the scenes to life.

All right. Good luck. Good luck.

Think about casting. Have fun.

All right, let's go in and sit down. Let them do the work. Come on, let's go in.

We already got the job. Yeah, we're already on the show.

Dude, this scene is a comedy. Of course it's a comedy, absolutely.

This is funny.

So the scene we have to perform today is about two brothers at a neighborhood

party meeting their sister, who's bringing a boyfriend for the first time.

And we have to choose who's going to play who.

Obviously, brothers.

Yeah.

Boyfriend. Absolutely.

Any preference on man one or two?

Man two right away says dude.

And I feel like you say dude. Yeah.

And I was like, there you go. This is a comedy scene.

So in order for that to come through, you have to have fun. Like, we're

brothers. Yeah. Like, that has to come across.

I think so, too. Yeah. That brotherly banter, that football slapping your butt

with a towel type thing.

Yep. And then you're this outsider who...

You know, let's put you to the test, buddy. Yeah. You know, bring it on. I

don't have a sister, but I could imagine.

Growing up, I had an older brother and a younger brother. We're always giving

each other a hard time, joking around.

So I'm hoping to kind of bring that out in this scene.

All right, casting.

Is there anyone that...

drew you guys to anything.

Maybe have us be brothers.

You guys riffing off each other, yeah, yeah. Yeah, so I'll do man one.

And I'll be man two.

I'm jealous that you'll get to be Hunter's boyfriend, but you know what? I

think you'll be really funny in that part. Okay, okay, I like it, I like it.

I think you can take it. Yeah, no, I can take it, I can take it. Being the new

boyfriend, meeting the siblings and the family, I feel like I've done that

before, and I feel like I could relate to that character.

The brothers do something devious to mess with man three and ruin the

picture. Leading lady snaps the photo.

We have to have the joke of ruining the picture epic.

Oh, absolutely. Let's start thinking of ideas. Like, how can we ruin the

picture? So probably, like, she's had a lot of other boyfriends that she's,

like, brought home in the past. And we're always so judgmental. Because we

care about her. We love her. She's our little sister. Little sister. I think

so. We're caring for her.

So the last few years, I've gotten some really incredible opportunities to

direct. Everything from new plays to big musicals. Where are we wanting to set up

the scene, right? We can probably make a setup here at the table.

Yes, and I can walk out of the house right there. I just want to make sure

that he's going to be able to hear the lines.

I think that it's incredibly important to be able to throw ideas in the hat and

figure this thing out together.

That definitely seems like the best shot, right? This seems like the most

reliable place.

We could frame it up here and you just walk off over into this corner or

something along those lines so that you don't actually have to leave.

My instinct would be that someone needs to be the director.

So I do have experience doing this. Let's just go through it and just talk

through the story a little bit.

We're trying to get all of this down in a very short amount of time, but we have

to all be on the same page. And that's like, what is happening? Like, what is

going on right now?

Coming up. Yeah, we're so happy to meet you.

I want them to feel more like brothers. Yes. Are you guys going to do the shake

really quick, too?

Between the two of you? That was the moment. Right. That's okay. That's okay.

How did we forget that one?

Team one, your planning time is up. It's time for your 10-minute rehearsal.

Yeah, we're looking forward to being able to discuss a lot of the stuff that

we've already established with you and getting your fresh takes on this. Yes.

Oh, great. I'm so excited. I want to see what you guys have planned.

There's one more layer that we need to add since this is a block party.

Would our background artists please join us? Come on over here.

Oh, nice.

Hey. Hello, hello, hello.

Awesome. Wow. Come on in, guys.

Good? Perfect. Fantastic. Break a leg. Good luck. Thank you, John. Do it, guys.

Let's do it. Show.

It's a lot of pressure to, you know, tell Hunter kind of what to do. Because

if she's not comfortable in the scene, then it's going to make everything else

fall apart.

So my brothers?

Yes. My boyfriend? Yes. Okay, all right. What do we think of... Yeah, so

originally we were thinking that maybe this was a really good spot. But now

that we have a better layout and understanding of where the background

actors are and how the food is established, it's starting to feel like

maybe our primary scene should actually be up here in front. A little closer up

here. Okay. Right?

I feel like I have a really good understanding of how we should be moving

into the scene and out of the scene to make sure that we're getting the shots

right for each of us in order to tell the story.

Let's put these drinks over maybe on this table right here. This table. Sure.

Rustin took charge.

You have to think in a team mentality.

You're only as good as your weakest link, so I want everyone to shine and

bring it.

Who is, like, your guys' leader right now? Is there, like, one designated

leader between you guys? Is there someone that's kind of the director of

the group, or is it kind of a group project right now? It's like a group,

yeah. We've all contributed a significant amount.

Robbie has ideas that he's bringing to the scene, and I have ideas that I'm

bringing to the scene, and it's more about just us navigating how those ideas

work together.

You guys want to run this really quick?

Yeah. Let's give it a shot.

What's up?

Who brings eggs to a Christmas party?

Deviled eggs. They're classic.

And what did you bring?

Brownies, like a normal person. Oh, okay.

Rustin and I have developed a backstory that I'm kind of like the tech brother

who's like really always working all the time on his phone, and he's maybe like

the music guy who's a little bit more artsy, and so it's a fun kind of

specific dynamic that we've created. Really great to meet you guys.

Yes, okay, so Shane, these are my brothers. Thanks for letting me crash

the neighborhood block party.

Knowing that the boyfriend role doesn't have as much screen time as the

brothers' roles do, I have to make sure that...

all the screen time that I have really counts. If you're comfortable with it,

because it says, like, a cute, sweet moment, like a little, like, nose thing,

like, before we walk away. Sure. Yeah, so be like a little... A little nose.

Cute.

I'll be right back.

And we kind of talked about, like, a look between the three siblings.

Like, we all know these are... We all have a little bit of cookie left in the

mouth. Okay. In this challenge, it's so important to bring our own creative

perspective to this, and so I'm hoping that our ideas will play out really

well.

Great job. Your time's up. Go ahead and put your props down. Get back in place.

It's time to do the scene. Thank you so much. We figured it out, and everybody

was making sure that they were in front of their camera.

I just got to make sure that I bring it in my own way.

Davey, since you won the advantage, you can join Melissa and I at the monitors.

Totally. It's great to be in the booth with Melissa and Jonathan, and I'm

curious to see what they're going to come up with.

All right, places.

Top of the show.

Roll sound. Roll camera.

Everybody set.

Settle. And action.

Who brings eggs to a Christmas party?

Deviled eggs.

They're a classic. What did you bring?

Brownies. Like a normal person.

Oh, it's Leah.

She says she's here.

You've never met this guy, right?

Nope, but 20 bucks says he's wearing a polo and khakis.

Nah.

My money's on, uh, stress jeans.

You're on.

Oh, all right.

Okay.

Do we even want to know what you two are shaking on?

Merry Christmas.

Merry Christmas. Merry Christmas. Get over here, sis.

Good to see you.

Okay,

uh, you guys, this is Shane.

And Shane, these are my brothers. It's really great to meet you guys.

Yeah, we're so happy to meet you.

I want them to feel more like brothers. Yes.

So what do you got there?

Oh, cookies.

I baked them myself.

But you guys should probably know I've never actually used the oven, so I don't

know if they're actually going to turn out very good.

Oh, a risk taker.

I like it.

Hey, I am sure they're going to be delicious.

Maybe you guys should try one before I set them out. Yeah? Oh. Yeah.

Yeah.

Come on, guys.

Thanks. Yeah.

I love how they take their time. Melt this moment.

Yeah? Yeah.

These are... They're something.

They're like nothing I've tasted before. They're so good.

You guys are lying.

They're terrible, aren't they?

Baby, they're... They're really... So good. Yeah, I'm just...

Well, I'm really thirsty. Would you mind getting me something to drink? Sure

thing.

I'll be right back.

Those were awful.

What did he put in those? Rummy alcohol?

Oh, come on, you guys, please. I said to be nice.

See, this is why I never introduce you to anybody.

What do you mean? We're nice. We are always kind to your boyfriends. Really?

Because the last time I brought a guy home for Christmas, you lured him into

the backyard when the sprinkler system was on.

That was an innocent mistake.

How did we know that Mom kept the sprinklers on in the middle of winter?

Yeah. They almost feel like they're overacting a little bit, these two.

Let me just go easy on him, please.

I figured you guys could use one after having to eat those cookies.

No.

Guys,

guys, guys.

It's okay.

I forgot to put the sugar in the cookies.

Backtracks. It happens.

It's the thought that counts, babe.

What do you guys say we take a little selfie to commemorate me bombing the

first introduction?

All right.

I'll take it.

Ready?

Say Merry Christmas.

Merry Christmas.

Have fun with that. Your brothers look stupid. Go for it. Make me laugh. Make

us laugh.

And I would like to propose a toast to new friends.

Yeah, dude, don't worry about the cookies, man. We're happy to have you.

Thank you.

Thanks, guys.

Okay, I'm going to send our selfie to everyone. Really quick.

Really? You guys, that is so immature.

God, really?

Hey, come back here.

Oh, you are nothing but trouble.

I think I'm gonna need another one of these.

And cut!

What did you learn? A lot.

Take your time. Don't rush.

Do you have brothers?

Yeah. Do you guys give each other, like... Totally.

We're gonna be channeling some of that. I want you and Craig to be the people

that we love to hate. Yeah, Robbie and Rustin.

didn't necessarily bring the same kind of brotherly energy that I knew Craig

and I were gonna bring.

So I think that'll play to our advantage.

This is gonna be fun.

Yeah, yeah. Let's go. Have fun. Have fun, have fun.

You got this. Thank you.

Coming up... There was some sort of power struggle happening.

Merry Christmas!

Oh, I think it's raining, guys.

One of you out-acted the other just by a hair.

Bro, that was fast.

That was quick.

The moment when we eat the cookies, like, really take your time.

Taste the cookie.

Yeah, rather than bite. Nasty. You got to taste it first. With the advantage, I

also feel like it comes with a little bit of extra pressure. There's probably

going to be some expectations to perform.

For the photo, photobomb it however big you can, you know, without, like,

disrupting the scene. So I kind of hashed out some last-minute things to

prove to myself and to everybody else that I belong here.

Hi, guys. Hey, ladies.

Hey, team two.

Davey, your team has 10 minutes to rehearse.

Okay. Perfect. Good luck. Now, is there, like, a leader? Is everyone working

together as a team?

Working together as a team. Yeah. Okay.

All right. I love it. Do you want to show me what you guys have planned so

far? Yeah. Okay.

Going into rehearsal, I'm not worried about me.

I want to make sure my guys are going to shine.

If they start shining, Hunter and I are going to shine.

Before we start the rehearsal, we need to find our marks because we have...

Our cameras, your cameras.

And this is the why.

I helped co-direct this short film. Having that experience, I know how to

hit certain marks and make sure the camera can see us. She'll end right here

and here, and that way we both have our cameras.

So it'll be kind of maybe one of these lines? Sure. I'm more or less letting

Angel dictate a lot of the situation with this scene, take the lead.

Cool, let's run it. That way we don't waste more time. Okay, cool.

And I feel good about us.

Ready? Yep.

I want to immediately establish the fact that we are brothers. So we decided to

improv a couple lines at the very top of the scene. Nice outfit, man. Did mom

dress you up in that?

Yeah, probably.

You got a blazer, you're running for office, or what's going on? Watch the

camera.

What's going on?

Craig and Davey, if you don't mind. Go ahead.

Do your scene to your cameras, set this up, and find a moment that brings you

back here. Yeah, yeah. Looking at the space so then when we come in, you don't

block our cameras. Yeah.

You have to find your camera so it can see the faces.

I'm starting to sweat, not because of the weather, but because of how this is

going to turn out.

Nice outfit, man. Mom dress you up in that? Yeah, probably.

There is a lot happening here. It's a group ensemble, a bunch of dialogue.

Are you guys going to do the shake really quick, too, between the two of

you? That was the moment. That's okay.

Because I got to reference your shake.

How did we forget that one?

I'm just hoping that...

I can latch on and do the best I can. And Shane, these are my brothers.

Shane. Hey, Shane. What's going on, Shane? It's great to meet you guys.

What do you got there?

Cookies. I baked them myself.

The success of a scene isn't just about one person. It's about all of us. So

Craig and I are kind of trying to lean into the playful brother act without

being overly obnoxious.

Everybody say Merry Christmas.

Merry Christmas.

It finally started to come together.

You guys are so immature.

I guess I'm going to need another one of these.

Here we go. Let's do it. Now we have to kind of bring this thing to life. I'm

hoping we don't commit the same mistakes.

And action.

Hey, dude, really loving that outfit. Did mom dress you up in that?

Nope. Dressed myself.

What's up with the blazer? You and your eggs running for office? I mean, who

brings eggs to a Christmas party?

Deviled eggs.

Literally classic.

What do you got, brownies?

Yeah, I got brownies like a normal person.

Whatever.

Oh, it's Leah.

Huh. She said they're here.

Hey, have you actually met this guy?

No. Uh, 20 bucks though says he's a polo khakis kind of guy.

My money's on distressed jeans.

Yeah, you're on.

Oh, there they are. Oh, here.

Hey. Oh, do I even want to know what you two are shaking on? No.

Okay, please behave.

Yeah, yeah. You guys, this is Shane.

Oh, Shane. Shane, these are my brothers.

Shane, what's going on? Hey, Shane.

How are you?

It was really great to meet you guys.

What do you got there? Some cookies?

Cookies. Yeah, looks like it. I baked them myself.

All right. I've never actually used my oven before.

I'm... Sure,

why not?

Thanks. Let me know what you think.

Wow.

That's... That's something.

It's so good.

Craig is so good. I'm a little thirsty, would you mind getting me something to

drink? It's your thing, baby.

Okay.

Davey is coming alive.

It totally tastes like rubbing a hole.

You guys, no, come on. I said you had to be nice.

See, this is why I never introduce you to anybody.

We are nice.

Really? Because the last guy that I brought home for Christmas, you lured

him outside in the backyard when the sprinkler system was on. Whoa, that was

an innocent mistake. I mean, how are we supposed to know that mom puts the

sprinklers on in the winter? Who does that?

Yeah. Okay, well, look, I really like them, so just go easy, okay? All right,

all right, all right. I figure everyone needed one after having to eat those

cookies. I made an honest mistake. I forgot to put the sugar in.

All right, it's an honest mistake. Thanks.

What do you say if we dish these cookies and the four of us take a selfie to

commemorate me totally bombing our first introduction?

Let's go for it. Yeah.

Go on that side.

I like that idea.

Go on that side. All right, everyone say Merry Christmas.

Merry Christmas!

Oh, I think it's raining, guys.

Oh. Oh?

He poured the drink on his head.

Brilliant, Davey. Don't worry about the cookie thing.

We're... Yeah.

We're glad you're here. Thank you, guys.

Like, you really are the best. Thank you.

Hey, okay, I'm gonna send the selfie to everybody real quick.

Yeah.

Come on, you guys! That is so immature!

Really? Hey, get back here!

Hey!

I think I'm gonna need another one of these.

Nice. And cut!

There they are. Hey, guys. How you feeling?

How'd it go?

Oh, that's a confident looking guy right there. I know, I know. How you guys

feeling? Hey, hey, hey.

Bro, I always feel confident after.

Davey's advantage really helped us out, and I think we crushed that scene.

But Robbie, Rustin, and Marcus, they're really strong. So, I mean, this is a

coin toss.

As far as, like, that selfie moment, I was pretending to spill my drink on

Angel, and I actually, like, spilled a little bit of it. After we were done

with it, I was like, I hope my hair is okay.

He was a great sport about that.

Let's talk about team one, Robbie, Rustin, and Marcus.

I felt like Marcus did a really good job playing that boyfriend role because the

other two brought a lot of energy and a lot of strong choices.

I do wish Marcus maybe...

brought up his energy just a little bit like you said in that nervous match the

room a little bit Robbie did feel like he was overacting I wanted maybe to see

that more um I actually love my sister a little bit of a real moment like you

know what we love you a little bit more of that yeah agreed now for me this was

the first time where Rustin and Robbie I felt were disconnected in a scene. And I

think it's because they had a little bit of a challenge with the leadership of

this scene. It just felt like there was some sort of power struggle happening.

Let's talk about team two.

Davey, Craig, and Angel.

There was a few times I thought that Davey could have...

reacted more and stayed in it and filled the space.

Because Craig was giving him so much comedy, so much gold.

He could have reacted to the other actors more in that scene.

Agreed. Agreed. Craig came in hot. I think he's so funny. And you know I'm a

sucker for a funny guy.

The faces he made, the choices he made. Did mom pick that out? That was really

smart. I love that. It established their relationship immediately.

He felt super present. I felt like that the whole time from him. I really

enjoyed his performance.

And what about Angel?

He was a great team player.

Yeah. The one thing with Angel is I think sometimes he can lose a little bit

of the momentum in the scene.

Uh-huh.

We have a big decision to make, but unfortunately, one of our guys has to go

home.

No.

Good luck with that, Hunter. Good luck, Hunter.

We're leaving this decision to you.

No, you stay right here. You stay right here. Bye-bye now.

Bye-bye. Yeah, let's go.

Bye-bye. Bye, Hunter.

Bye. Have fun making the decision all by yourself.

I think we get rid of Jonathan, right?

No?

Okay.

Walking into each elimination now, there's no more feeling safe. There's no

more feeling confident. We're getting down to the nitty gritty, and anyone can

go at any time.

Hello, gentlemen.

One of you will be named this week's Shining Star, and one of you will be

headed home for the holidays.

In today's Star Quality Challenge, we asked you to work as a team, help each

other shine, bring your own twist to the script, and show us your star quality.

All while staying connected to each other and your incredible co-star,

Hunter King.

Hunter, how do you think the guys did?

I think they all did a really great job. It was so much fun getting to work with

them and watch them grow as actors.

There can only be one shining star tonight.

And that person was a team player, used their gift of acting to elevate their co

-stars, and the person that added comedy along with believability when it came to

portraying brothers.

The winner of the Star Quality Challenge and tonight's shining star is...

Craig, congratulations.

Well done.

I think you really shined in that scene and you had great instincts.

I thought I was gone, man.

I've been doing this a long time now.

You audition and you audition and you audition and you audition and you

audition.

It gets exhausting.

Yeah. Well, congratulations.

You were very, very funny in this scene. Thank you. Thank you.

Angel and Davey, you're safe.

Rustin.

Marcus. Robbie.

One of you will be going home.

Okay. Robbie, how do you feel this challenge was for you today?

Right at the beginning, I thought that there maybe should be one voice, but

then I thought, actually, for this, it was really nice to work collaboratively

with my team for us all to have a say.

Rustin, tell me about the part you played in your team.

I felt that Robbie and I were really in sync. There was a lot of overlap that

made it feel like we were both really, like, on the same page.

I felt like Marcus was such a team player and he had some great

collaborative recommendations.

And I almost felt like...

Watching you guys interact with each other gave me that thing to act off of.

Okay. Yeah.

That makes sense.

Rustin.

Robbie.

Will you please step down?

In today's challenge, you both were at fault for competing with each other when

we asked you to work as a team. That leaves us to judge you purely on your

acting in the scene today.

And one of you out-acted the other just by a hair.

One of you will be going home right now.

I'm not ready to go home.

I want to stay here.

My palms are sweaty. I'm so close to having a dream like slip through my

fingertips.

Unfortunately... Robbie?

It's time to take your stocking down.

You're going home for the holidays.

This has been like a life-changing experience.

You have been such an important person to me for so long, and to have been

picked by you to come here is beyond my wildest dreams.

And I just want to make you proud.

You made me proud, and you made our community proud.

Thank you.

That means the world to me.

Yes.

Give it up for Robbie.

Love you, Robbie.

Love you, Robbie.

The thing that I didn't know about being here is just how close I was going to

feel with the other guys.

They're so wonderful.

And to be accepted by all of these guys is so meaningful.

I know it seems cliche, but you have to follow your dreams. You have to go do

it. You have one life. You have to shoot for the moon, and if you miss, you'll

land among the stars.

I didn't make it to the moon, but I'm definitely landing among the stars.

We're at the stage now of splitting hairs, so you've got to bring it to

every challenge.

We'll see you next time.

as we continue the search to find Mr.

Christmas.

I don't think anybody saw this one coming. Robbie has been a big time

player from day one.

We're down to the final five now. This is serious.

It's anyone's game.
