And now, here they are, the most daredevil group of ducky drivers to ever
whirl their wheels in the wacky races.
Competing for the title of the world's wackiest racer.
Cars are approaching the starting line. First is the turbo terrific driven by
Peter Perfect.
Next, Rufus, Ruffcutt, and Sawtooth in the Buzzwagon.
Maneuvering for position is the Army Surplus Special.
Right behind is the Ant Hill Mob in their bulletproof bomb.
And there's Ingenious Inventor.
Oh,
and here's the lovely Penelope Kidstop, the glamour gal of the gas pedal.
Next, we have the Boulder Mobile. with the Slag Brothers rockin' gravel.
Merching along is the Creepy Coop with the Gruesome Susum, and right on their
tail is the Red Max.
And there's the Arkansas Chuggabug with Ruth and Blubber Bear.
Sneaking along last is that mean machine with those double-dealing do-batters,
Dick Dastardly and his sidekick, Muttly. And even now, they're up to some dirty
trick, and they're off!
Standing start. And why not? They've been chained to a post by shifty Dick
Dasterly, who shifts into the wrong gear. And away they go on the way out
wacky races.
Today, we find the wacky racers speeding through the mountains toward Jollywood,
California.
Think that's for me is trying to pass Peter Perfect, but the road is too
narrow. Right.
Well, there's more than one way to skin a cat.
I sure put one over on him.
Every car in the race has passed us.
Not quite, Dick. You're still ahead of the army surplus special.
Oh, goody.
Oh, baddy. Look.
Pastor Meagley, we gotta catch up.
Curses. Curses.
Meanwhile, speeding along toward glamorous Jollywood, the wacky racers
are approaching the summit of Mount Paperlock, and purring along in front is
pretty Penelope's compact pussycat.
Since we're heading for little old Jollywood, I'd better keep nice and
trained, just in case I run into one of those little old tyrant scouts.
Not far behind, the creepy coot is using ghost power to make the steep climb.
The Sly Brothers are third, but it doesn't look as if the heavy boulder
mobile is going to make it.
Way back in the pack, but still in the race, the anthill mob is running flat
out. But pretty soon, they'll be just running flat.
Oh boy,
let's go watch this.
Is there something tailing us? And it ain't no cop.
Yikes! Quick, you mugs. Make with your ski poles.
Drat! They got away.
A treacherous ledge towards Calamity Corner. The bus wagon is trying to pass
the converter car.
Whoops! Rufus Rupp cut inside and went out! The bus wagon's bandsaw wheels are
coming deep as he charges around Calamity Corner.
I run into one of those little old Jollywood agents. I want to have my
little old fingernails looking pretty.
There. Now I'll let them dry in the wind.
Look out, Ding Ling.
She's going to make a left turn.
Gee, sorry about that, Clyde.
Looks like the anthill mob is taking a turn for the worse.
Mr. Lee's turning off for a shortcut.
Why not, Booksy?
All's fair in love and races.
Let's check our scanner scope and see what's ahead.
It looks like a Jollywood movie studio is on location.
They are shooting a King Arthur movie.
Here we are, Muttley.
Fortunately for me, they're not shooting today.
I've always wanted to be a director.
So, I'll start by directing the Waculacers into trouble.
Shortcut. Ah, good.
Here comes the Crimson Haybaler. I'll tell you when, and we'll drop the Iron
Gate on him.
a dirty trick to escape my dirty trick.
Oh, stop snickering.
Mutley, do something.
Son of a... Curses. Here comes the creepy goop.
bridge, Muttley.
Okay, Muttley.
Lower the drawbridge and let's get out of here.
Professor Pat Pending is changing into an underwater missile.
You're right.
Meanwhile, Professor Pat Pending coming in for a landing.
changes back into his converter car.
He made it!
The wacky racers are heading for the home stretch now, and it looks like
who's saving for the slag brothers who are in the lead?
Oh, yeah?
That's what you think. See that steel cable across the road, Boopsy?
Well, it's not for decoration.
Watch this dastardly dirty work in action!
I can't believe it! They drove right through the steel cable!
Movie Trapper!
Running third. While away, way, way back we find everybody's friend.
Dick Dastardly.
We're lost again, Matly.
This calls for some, some drastically dirty trick like rocket power.
At the back of the pack, the meat machine is passing cars like crazy.
but in the wrong vehicles.
We're out in front and there's the finish line.
Dick, if you cross the finish line in the wrong car, you'll be disqualified.
I will?
The wacky racers are back in their own cars, but no one's crossed the finish
line yet.
Here comes a surplus beckon sizzling along with no room to pass.
And it smacks right into Dick Datterby, who hits the bus wagon, which brands the
Crimson Hay Bailer, who slams into the Creepy Coop, which pushes the Chugabug
across the finish line first.
Number two of the Creepy Coop is second, and number four of the Crimson Hay
Bailer is third.
Some of these cars are a real mess after this race.
Good luck, Muttley.
Where is your master?
Double drat!
