The race to be Hallmark's next leading man is going to melt the snow and your
hearts. Hallmark holiday movies bring the magic, the romance, Christmas cheer,
and charm.
And of course, your favorite Hallmark leading men.
Please welcome the star of our show, our hunky holiday hopefuls who all dream of
winning the lead role in a Hallmark holiday movie.
Action!
They will have to prove their Christmas spirit. You're a flying reindeer.
There it is. Heart. I've just always led with my heart forward.
And star quality by acting alongside some of your favorite Hallmark Channel
stars. Well, howdy. What are you doing here?
So grab some eggnog and throw another log on the fire.
Will you please take my hand? Yeah. As we take you on the hunt for the next
shining star.
This is Finding Mr. Christmas.
Oh, this is sick.
All right. Now it's real.
Other door. Okay.
Wow. Christmas tree right away.
Everywhere you look, this place is decked out.
Decorations from floor to ceiling.
Ah, look at that.
Craig. Anybody here?
Not yet. Okay.
Oh man, so much bigger than I thought it was going to be. I was thinking the same
thing. It's like Santa has a country home.
Exactly.
I think I'm hallmark leading man material because I'm tall, I have nice
hair, shout out mom, and most importantly, I have a big heart. Oh man,
it smells so good.
Yo, what's going on? I'm Craig. Hey, Robbie.
Robbie, good to meet you. Nice to meet you.
Drake, good to meet you. The stockings make it so real.
My mom was a huge fan of Hallmark movies, so in order to, like, stay up
late on a school night, I'd always be like, hey, Mom, like, can I watch this
movie with you?
Real fire.
We'd, like, curl up on the couch, like, especially if it was during the
Christmas season, and we'd watch Hallmark movies.
It's a big part of why I'm so excited to be here.
Not one 20-foot tree, but two 20-foot trees. The one when you enter, and then
this one. It's incredible.
Hello.
Wow. Hey, what's up, man? Robbie. Robbie? Angel.
Nice to meet you.
What's going on, man? Nice hair.
Thank you, man. You too, you too. Being here means a lot to me because watching
Hallmark movies is a huge part for our holiday tradition.
It's always all about joy, love, and magic.
That's the beauty of Christmas.
I grew up in Massachusetts.
What about you?
Born and raised in Venezuela.
When I was 15, my mom brought my sister and me to the United States and gave us
a better life.
Who's going to be Mr. Christmas?
We'll find out soon enough. We got, what, six other guys still to come? I
know. It's a huge house. I'm down to stay here for a while. What's up, guys?
What's up, fellas?
Hey!
What up? What's up, guys?
Angel. Davey.
Nice to meet you.
Angel. How are you, man? Good, how are you? What's your name? Gabe. Gabe. Or
Gabriel. Correct. Some beautiful men right here. Wow.
It's the name of the game, right? Yep. Part of it, I guess.
We made the cut.
I just started acting.
So I'm a newbie. Being so new to acting and getting the opportunity to come here
is pretty intimidating, to be honest. I started going to acting classes and have
been working very hard because I want to try to do this.
Want to stay here for a little bit?
It's gorgeous.
I'm a former professional football punter that has never done a scene in
his life.
Let's do it.
By not having acting experience, no one really knows what to expect from me. And
that's kind of going to be my sneaky strategy.
Hey, I'm Logan.
Logan. How's it going? Jake. Craig. Craig, nice to meet you, man. Yeah, you
too. I love those gloves you got on. I actually, I made these. Really? Yeah. No
way. Did you see the donuts over here? Yeah, man. I was thinking about digging
into them. Not yet.
But they look good, don't they? They have hot cocoa.
You first, man. I don't mind.
So kind.
Dude, it's so epic.
I'm a singer, songwriter, musician, but I am here to be an actor.
Rustin. Rustin? Rustin, yeah. It's like Justin, but with an R.
Dude, we got the trust circle going on already.
Yeah.
Hello, hey.
I'm Marcus.
What's going on? What's going on, guys? Hey, we look like we could be brothers.
I was a chubby kid growing up.
In seventh grade, I got cut from the basketball team. That motivated me to
start working out all through the summer. In eighth grade, I came back and
the coaches, they had no idea who I was. And now I'm a full-time model.
Oh, we got the stockings over here.
Last one to show up, first one to go.
If it happens, it happens. It's okay.
It's like that newborn phase where a lot of sleepless nights. What, you're dead
now? Yeah.
Yeah. Thanks. Thank you. So I recently became a new dad.
My son Soto was born eight weeks ago. I'm super grateful for my wife at home
doing all she can to take care of our son. It feels surreal. You look at the
kid and go, that's mine.
But it takes a set. And you're like, I'm definitely feeling the weight of the
future and being able to provide as a father. But I know that this path I'm on
will help lead me in that direction.
Nobody gives you an instruction manual. You go home with it.
That's your boy, you know? Forever.
Yeah.
Oh, it's a slippery ball.
After meeting all the guys at the house, they're handsome, they're nice guys, but
I think my biggest competition is myself.
I feel like this is going to be dangerous.
Knock a stocking off and it'll be like a hint. Be like, that person's got to go.
Jonathan has been someone who I've always looked up to in this business.
Everything he's done on Hallmark, he's been bursting down barriers. Welcome to
season two of Finding Mr. Christmas.
You're all here chasing the same dream and the same prize.
A leading role in a Hallmark Christmas movie.
Winning a role in a Hallmark movie would be the absolute best thing that could
happen. It would mean that I'm a part of something.
Good acting isn't all it takes to be the next Mr. Christmas.
You've got to be kind, genuine, charming, have a great sense of humor,
and a whole lot of heart.
Here's how the Christmas magic is going to go down.
You're going to go noggin to egg noggin in two rounds of challenges.
First, a festive face-off when you hear this sound.
That means the festive face-off is about to begin.
Win and you'll receive an advantage that can benefit you in the star quality
challenge. That's where you'll get the chance to perform with some of
Hallmark's biggest stars.
This whole competition is the ultimate test of how you showcase your star
quality. That special it factor that makes you shine above the rest.
My friends and family would describe me as a golden retriever just because I
have really high energy and I am a delusional optimist. That is my star
quality. And also, I think Hallmark is awesome.
Take some time to get to know each other and enjoy the holiday house, which is
bursting with holiday joy thanks to these incredible Balsam Hill trees and
decorations.
We'll see you soon.
The amount of experience that Jonathan has.
It's going to be a huge opportunity for each of us to learn from him. Tell me
your name one more time.
Robbie. I'm so curious what it's going to be like.
I'm looking forward to the challenges in between to break it up. Gabe is sneaky
good, by the way. Wait, wait, wait. So you know someone here?
Yeah, yeah. So Gabe and I were roommates, actually, for a while.
No teaming up. We're going to have to keep you guys separate. I love Davey,
but, you know, there can only be one winner.
All right, it has started.
It's time to go.
As long as it's not a football competition, I'll be happy.
Wait, wait, wait. What type of football? American football?
Real football?
It's time for the very first festive face-off challenge. I'm so excited.
What do they got? What do they got? Oh, my gosh.
Wow, boys!
Seeing Santa's workshop for the first time is so cool. It's very fun and
crafty and creative, which is just like me.
Right here is where the Christmas spirit kicks in, which is what you will need
for your very first festive face-off.
Today, we want you to land the part of jolly old Saint Nick.
I got the beard started.
That's right.
This is an audition.
But there's a peppermint twist.
Your Santa must be as unique as you.
This is about infusing yourself into the role and bringing a piece of you that
makes the character rich and real.
That's what good acting is.
What makes your Santa stand out?
The winner of this festive face-off will win an advantage going into the Star
Quality Challenge.
And trust me, you're gonna want it.
You've got 30 minutes to personalize your Santa suits.
When time is up, one by one, you're gonna show us your Santa.
Can I get a ho, ho, ho?
Ho, ho, ho, ho!
Get your glue guns locked and loaded, because the fun starts... now!
All right.
Anyone else need scissors?
Awesome. Thank you, man. Taking these sleeves off of here.
Very first step. Immediately.
For this challenge, we're going to be auditioning to be Santa.
But we got to bring our own Santas to the audition.
Growing up, I loved reading comics.
I want my Santa to be a superhero. I want to save the day.
Gotta let the guns out a little bit, right? Honey, jacket.
I'm trying to figure out who my Santa character is gonna be. So I'm going
through, I'm like, who am I? Who, what represents me well?
Woo!
That is hot glue. Okay.
My Santa Claus is going to be a New York version.
I'm from Long Island. I know that character. So get ready for Santini, the
New York version of Santa Claus.
So didn't you guys knit, craft, anything like that?
I do.
Oh, you had the gloves when you came in. Yes, yes. That's awesome.
I am definitely a self-proclaimed nerd.
Growing up, I fell in love with fantasy.
I like the idea of adding a little bit of magic to it because, hey, I mean,
that's kind of what Santa is, right?
I do love penguins. This is perfect.
Penguins find a partner and made for life, and that's a huge goal of mine.
That burns. Ow.
One minute.
I'm doing it.
Ow. Now I've burned myself so many times, bro. Well, at this speed, bang,
bang, boom.
It's locked and loaded here.
Time is up. Ho, ho, hope you finish.
Go get changed and put on your Santa suits.
I really want the advantage, but I'm looking at my suit and it's simple, but
I'm wondering, is it a little too simple? Did I do enough to win this
competition?
We're missing a very special gift from Kris Kringle himself.
She's one of my dearest friends, and a Hallmark favorite, who is going to be
helping me judge throughout this entire competition.
It's Melissa Peterman.
Melissa Peterman. I mean, what a champ.
She's hilarious.
Mr. Christmas is somewhere in this room. Yes, Mr.
Christmas is here. We just got to find him now. Hi, everybody.
You look great.
You look lovely.
Thank you. Well, we have a winner already.
Let's get the audition started.
Remember, bring the magic, bring yourself, and show us your Santa.
Robbie, you're up first.
This is the first time I'm going to be in front of Jonathan and Melissa, two
people that I just admire so much. And so I am getting pretty nervous.
I'm Santa Claus for the paws.
Ho, ho, ho, ho. Merry Christmas. And to all who don't bite.
First of all, the fact that we do not have a Santa for dogs is criminal.
I love that you use the ears. You put the ears on the thing, so you have a
tail. I see that you have a dog tail. I mean, you're literally like part dog,
part dog trainer.
Great job, Robbie. Thank you so much.
Robbie's a contender in this game right off the bat.
Gabe, your audition's next.
This first audition is terrifying.
I'm Penguin Santa.
Penguins find a partner in Made for Life.
And, uh, also...
Take a breath.
You got this. You got this, man. You're good.
Seeing him out there on the floor is absolutely heartbreaking.
Okay.
You got it, man.
You got this.
Coming up for this challenge, you'll be skiing. And your co-star, Janelle
Parrish. Were you heading towards those moguls over there?
No.
He did a full-on barrel roll.
You got this.
Take a breath.
So more about why I love penguins. I'm from Wyoming. It's really cold there.
It gets down to negative 40 with the windchill.
I don't know what else to say. Okay. Penguin Santa, I love it. I did not know
that penguins mate for life. Yeah.
Are there penguins in Wyoming?
No,
there's no penguins.
I could tell you were a little nervous.
I am a little nervous.
I love the energy that you give off. I think you've got the greatest eyes.
Thank you. Send a search party. I just got lost in them.
I can't wait to learn more about you.
Gabriel, thank you so much.
Rustin. I'm Rockstar Santa.
My heart is too big, but at the center of it, I'm a star. Okay.
Merry Christmas, Melissa.
Yeah!
Why Rockstar Santa?
My parents met in a rock band. Stop it. How cute.
It's like a Hallmark movie waiting to happen. It is! It was such a Hallmark
movie. Thank you so much, Rockstar Santa!
Thank you! Good job!
Logan!
I am Wizard Santa.
Oh. And I have come to bring a little bit of magic in the air. I
shall light the night!
Well, I like it because I think it's two magical things. You've got Santa, who is
magical. Wizards, which is magic. So kids love all of that. I would love to
see what's underneath the beard.
Can I take it all off? Yeah, yeah. There it is. Oh, yeah.
That's Wizard Santa.
Thank you, Logan, so much. Thank you, Logan.
Davy. I'm Mr.
Liftmas.
Hope.
Hope.
Hope.
Mary.
Liftmas. Yeah, go on, David.
Outside piece here, it's the year that my son was born. And then I got his name
over here.
Soto. He's eight weeks old. What? Eight weeks?
So I don't have the time to work out like I used to, but... It shows.
Trying to prioritize. Please, keep that jacket on. Nobody wants to see that.
They say living in the moment is a gift, which is why they call it the present.
Oh, okay.
All right.
Craig, you're up next.
It's super important to set the tone, and I want to let these guys know that
I'm coming to play.
Hey, yo, how you doing? My name's Santini, okay, and I'm the New York
version of Santy Claus.
Merry friggin' Christmas. Forget about it, okay?
All right, you got a one-way ticket to Penn Station.
You take a look on the back.
You got your New York City skyline. Oh.
Statue of Liberty.
Oh my god. How you doing, baby? Hi. You're gorgeous. Thank you, thank you.
You brought such a unique twist to it. Santini, great job.
Santini! Craig's definitely going to be someone to look out for.
It's a little intimidating being in this room with all these guys that have so
much more experience than me.
Next up to audition is Marcus.
Oh.
Super Santa is here to slay the day.
But first let me remove the mask so you can see the man behind it So Hallmark
superhero Santa right here. I'm ready for you. First of all, let's just give a
shout out to that green ribbon They are doing the Lord's work right now
I'm gonna stick to what I know so I
decided to just treat it like modeling though my jacket over my shoulder kind
of get that gaze and just Walk it down with some confidence.
I'm All-American Saint Nick.
I'm going to slay the competition.
I got my cross, I got my family, and I got my holiday spirit.
Faith and family love that.
I usually don't share too much about myself. So the more you open up, the
more you show us who you are, the better you're going to do as actors in this
competition. Great job.
Angel.
Ho, ho, ho.
If you've been neglected, bullied, or forgotten, I'm here.
to remind you that your life is still meaningful.
I am Santa Angel, here to bless you. I'm all about giving love and showing my
heart to others.
He's already pulling us all in. I mean, he's definitely living up to his name.
The final Santa audition for the day, Jake.
This is my first audition.
I need to wow them.
I am buff, tough, Santa.
And even when it's winter and snowing, I bring the heat.
This suit represents the beautiful chaos of my life. I was a former professional
football player, and I'm your Santa.
Great job, buddy.
So what made you want to go from football to acting? Well, I pursued
football as long as I could, and an injury took me out of it, unfortunately,
and I've been trying to find that peace that's been taken out of me.
Great job.
Give it up for Buff Tough Santa!
Buff Tough Santa!
I did it.
I nailed my first audition.
Thank you guys so much for bringing your best to these auditions. You guys showed
up and you delivered and it was amazing to watch.
Each and every one of you shined.
It was a really hard decision, but there can only be one winner.
The person at the top of the nice list who took a risk that paid off
is Craig Santini Santa Claus.
Congratulations, Craig. You'll be getting an advantage going into the star
quality challenge, which is going to be our first acting challenge.
All right. See you guys later.
Let's go.
Having some sort of advantage this early on in the competition?
Priceless.
Coming up. You look at these other guys. I mean, they're handsome, but I think
we're cute.
We got to use that to our advantage.
Really keeping a squat. Take a look at your scene, partner.
One of you will be at risk of going home.
So I can't help but notice that we're going up in elevation a little bit. Oh,
there is snow up there. It's a ski resort. Oh.
First star quality challenge.
I'm nervous, but I'm excited.
Did you bring your mittens, man?
No.
That would have been great.
Hey, guys. Welcome to your very first star quality challenge at beautiful
Woodward Park City.
Every great holiday movie starts with a meet-cute with our romantic leads.
They lock eyes and then somehow, against all odds, fall in love.
I've been acting for 12 plus years.
I had minor roles on TV and in movies here and there, but I've never done the
actual leading man. So this is a life-changing opportunity.
For this challenge, you'll be working in pairs of your own choosing and have one
chance to nail the scene.
You will also be skiing.
I don't know how to ski, oh my gosh.
This is no fair.
Now, before we hand out scripts, let me introduce to you your co-star for this
challenge. She's a Hallmark favorite who was in Sugar Plummed, Never Been
Crissed, and so many more.
Wow. Please welcome Janelle Parrish!
What?
Janelle! It's Janelle Parrish. I mean, it makes you nervous. You know, you
don't want to mess up in front of her, but you get to work with her. I mean,
that's awesome.
Hi, guys!
Hi! Wow, so much...
Beauty.
Everywhere. Janelle, what do you think is really important to nail when you're
doing the meet-cute? I think the main thing is the connection.
It's just all about that spark.
Great advice.
All right, guys, it's time to choose your pairs.
Dude, yeah, no, I'm in, dude. I'm in. Let's keep it rolling. Let's go.
Immediately, I'm thinking Logan. We kind of match each other's energy, so I'm
hoping that that'll work in our advantage.
I'll help you. Let's do it. Let's do it. I'm in. Okay.
Who doesn't have a pair?
I'll go Angel.
My guy.
Now that you're paired up, it's your chance to show us your great main
character instinct, undeniable chemistry, and let your star quality
shine. Craig, remember when I told you that you had an advantage going into
this challenge from winning the festive face-off?
I remember.
You get to pick the order in which each pair performs.
That is huge.
Craig, who will be the first team performing?
These two lovely gents right here. All right, Davey and Angel, you're going to
be up first.
Angel has the most on-screen experience out of any of the other guys, so I
figure I could make him shake in his boots a little bit and throw him off his
game. Robbie and Marcus are going to be second.
I'll take that.
Third, Prince Charming and Logan.
Fourth is going to be down at the end here.
Gabe and Rustin, you'll be fourth. Jake and Craig, last.
I've skied exactly zero times.
i wanted to go last because i wanted to kind of get a feel for the skis
everybody gets a script now whoa okay okay okay easy don't rip them don't rip
them just gonna read one yeah we can take a second i'm gonna do the same your
hair looks too good to be anywhere but the bunny hill Hey, it looks too good to
be anywhere but the bunny hill. Going into football games, I might only get
one pun a game. So I'm no stranger to getting just one chance to make the best
out of something.
But the idea of acting with a Hallmark star like Janelle is making me nervous.
If you have the right teacher.
That's like, that's flirty right there. That's an offer, you know, if you have
the right teacher, you know what I'm saying? Maybe like a little like touch
on her arm. Let's run, let's just run through it then now that we both read
the whole thing, right? So in this scene, Janelle's character, she falls
and then the first skier comes up, make sure she's okay.
And then the ski patrol swoops on in and wins the lady.
Do you feel more comfortable being in like a, like a patrol type role or would
you rather?
has a little bit more lines honestly i don't want to play the ski patrol
because their lines are more wordy he runs his fingers through his hair you
have the long hair the guy too has a lot of lines bro okay well i didn't know no
it's okay it's okay it's okay so i'm kind of convincing him into that good
afternoon i'm patrolling this hill and i noticed you took a fall are you all
right oh yeah it was nothing really maybe so but if you don't mind i'd like
to do a quick check up and make sure you're okay i'm not concerned that drake
has any any Lesser experience than me because he does bring such good energy.
You look at these other guys I mean, they're handsome, but I think we're cute
And I think when we both kind of have that we got the golden retriever energy
together. Yep.
Yep Gotta use that to our advantage.
Yeah, I Know that I got your back. Oh, dude. Same. I appreciate it. Yeah, Davey
and I have to partner up He's a good-looking man. So That's going to be
to our advantage.
So show me the stance again. I personally don't have any skiing
experience. I don't even know how like the mechanics of skiing really work. And
like really keeping a squat.
And on top of all that, we only get one take. So we can't mess up. All right.
Time is up.
Head on that way and get changed.
Let's go.
Break a leg.
But, you know, don't really break a leg.
Pictures up. We're rolling camera.
Rolling, rolling.
Angel and Davey are up first.
Davey's the skier, and Angel is the ski patrol.
Okay. Everybody set, settle, and action!
Cue the extra.
Oh, oh, oh!
Yeah, no, don't worry about me. I'm fine.
All right.
Whoa there. You all right?
Yeah, fine. Just...
Embarrassed. Oh, don't be embarrassed. That guy was such a jerk. It was totally
his fault. Take your glasses off. Yes, let's see your eyes. Take your glasses
off. We want to see your eyes.
A big part of this challenge specifically is to make a connection
with Janelle, and Davey's just rocking his goggles the whole time. Take them
off, dude. Make eye contact.
Were you heading towards those moguls over there?
Oh, no.
Well, honestly, your hair looks way too perfect to have been anywhere but the
bunny hill.
Honestly, with the right teacher, in no time, you'd be going down the green
circles. Are you offering?
Absolutely. Oh.
All right, Angel.
You got this.
Come on. Okay, now slow it down. Slow it down. Oh.
Oh.
Oh, my.
I apologize.
Oh, my goodness.
Are you kidding me?
Here. It's just.
Oh.
Coming up. Yeah, show that hair. Oh, show the hair.
What kind of guy would I be if I let some beautiful jerk girl?
Do you call her a beautiful jerk girl? One of you will be going home right now.
I apologize.
Oh, my goodness. Is it your first day on the job?
He did a full-on barrel roll.
It's just... Oh.
Oh, my.
I'm just blown away by your beauty.
Wow! That's so nice.
We only get one take, and whatever happens, we have to get through the end
of the scene. I got it from here. Sure, yeah. I hope to see you again soon.
Yeah. First, let's see if you can follow my hands with your eyes.
Okay, that's good.
Let's test your balance.
Okay. Grab my hands and hold on steady.
Are they strong?
All right, quack like a duck. Quack.
Oh, I cannot believe I fell for that.
Okay. You had zero hesitation.
You know what? That's very funny. Well, lucky for you, you are cleared to ski.
If you don't mind, I'd like to be your teacher.
Wow, okay.
And cut.
Scene. Good job. Good job, man.
All right, Robbie, Marcus.
All right, we're up. Let's go.
I mean, Marcus looks like an ad for skis. I'd buy it.
And action.
Oh, whoa, whoa, whoa. Are you all right?
Yes, he kept going. Just keep going.
No, I'm still mastering the art of getting off the ski lift. One day, I
think you could hit the Green Circle Hill, especially if you had a good
teacher. Look at that smile.
Look at that smile.
Are you offering?
Maybe.
You want to go?
Oh.
Hey,
excuse me, man. I got it from here.
Ski Patrol protocol.
You understand.
Well, okay.
It was nice to meet you.
Maybe I'll see you around sometime? Yeah, okay.
You know, it really is nothing. We don't have to make a big thing out of it. I'm
fine. Hey, what kind of guy would I be if I let some beautiful jerk girl just
get sidelined by some jerk? Did he call her a beautiful jerk girl? I think he
did. Let's get you back on the slopes.
Okay.
Take my hands.
Okay, take your moment. Okay, come on. Be in it.
And now quack two times.
Quack, quack.
Oh, I can't believe I fell for that.
And cut!
Great job!
You did amazing. Thank you. You did great. You did so good.
Logan and Drake, you're up. And action!
Whoa.
Are you all right? Yeah.
I just, um, well, I'm a little embarrassed.
Are you headed for the moguls?
Oh, no, no, not quite. I'm still mastering the art of getting off the ski
lift, so... Oh, so you're a beginner.
Oh, is it that obvious?
Well, your hair's a little too good to be hanging on anything but the bunny
hill. That was a compliment.
Oh, okay.
Yeah. He's so charming. Oh, my God, he's so charming.
The ski patrol role is big shoes to fill, and I'm like, you know what, let's
crush this scene.
I think that you could, uh... Oh!
Oh, hello.
What'd you think of that stunt?
That was, that was really cool.
That was like some parkour. Yeah.
Cool. Excuse us, man. I got it from here.
Okay.
Yeah, show that hair. Okay.
I'll see you around.
Okay.
I really am fine. We don't have to make it a whole thing.
What kind of guy would I be if I let some beautiful girl get ran over by some
jerk and didn't say anything?
Let's see if we can get you back to those slopes.
Drake is blocking her camera.
Come around her. And if I can see your hands, you know, quack like a duck.
Quack, quack.
Oh, no. I can't believe I... Find your camera. Find your camera.
Well, it's your lucky day because two quacks means that...
You're going to be able to go back to the mountain, but you're going to need a
chaperone. Oh.
Ski patrol protocol.
Cut! Nice recovery, man.
Drake went past his mark and fell, and he didn't back up enough, so he ended up
blocking Janelle's camera. And action!
Whoa, you all right over there?
Yeah, yeah, I just, um, I'm a little embarrassed, you know. Don't be
embarrassed. It was that guy's fault.
Yeah.
Um, it was that guy's fault.
Oh, my gosh.
I'm a pretty new actor, and it's just overwhelming right now.
Um, you have moguls?
Oh, yeah. Yeah?
You headed towards the moguls over there? Oh, no, not quite. I'm still
mastering the art of getting off the ski lift.
Oh, so you're a beginner.
Yeah, yeah. Is it that obvious?
Oh, my gosh.
Hey, I'm patrolling the hill. I saw you take a pretty big fall. You all right?
Oh, yeah. No, I mean, it was nothing.
Oh, maybe so, but I'm gonna stick around and make sure everything's okay.
Okay.
Oh,
excuse us. I got it from here, man.
Well, actually, I've got her taken care of. Oh, I insist.
You know, ski protocol.
They're the first ones to really connect with each other and have that rivalry.
You know, really, we don't need to make a big thing of it. I'm fine. Oh, come on
now. Let's check your balance. Hold onto my hand for stability.
Now quack like a duck. Quack.
With zero hesitation.
Yeah, okay, very funny. Hey, you're in luck. One quack means you're good to go
on the slopes.
But, you know, not without a chaperone.
Ski patrol protocol.
Where do you suppose I might find a chaperone?
I need to learn to fall more often.
And cut!
Nice!
Forgot my lines, but, you know. You feeling good, man? Yeah, man. Craig and
Jake, you're up!
I'm actually surprised Craig picked to go last, because the longer you wait,
the more you can get nervous, especially for Jake, since he's never acted before.
And action!
Oh. Whoa.
Oh, thank you so much. Oh, I'm just, you know, a little embarrassed.
To you.
Um, were you heading for the moguls?
Oh, no, not quite. I'm still mastering the art of getting off the ski lift, you
know? So, you're a beginner.
Oh, is it that obvious?
Um, do you, um... I'm sorry.
Oh. You're very beautiful. I can't... Oh, thank you.
It's a loss of words.
It's, uh, it's kind of a... Jake is forgetting all of his lines, so if I
don't come in and save this scene, Oof.
We're in trouble.
Good afternoon, guys.
Ski Patrol here. I saw you fell. Are you okay? Oh, yeah. No, I'm fine. It really
was nothing.
Probably so, but if you don't mind, I'd really like to just check you out. Well,
it's really nice meeting you. Yeah.
See you around sometime?
Okay. Bye. Okay.
Let's see if we can get you back on the slopes.
He put a little flavor on that line.
Let me take my hands.
Okay. Okay.
Look, he's flirting with her. He's flirting with her. He's flirting.
Now I'm going to have you quack like a duck. Quack.
I can't believe I fell for that. A little louder?
Well, good for you.
Quacking like a duck gets you back on the hills.
You need a chaperone now.
Where do you suppose I might find a chaperone? Whoever might that be.
And cut.
Great job.
Good job, bro. Good job. Football was that fire that...
that kept me going. And trying to fill that piece of me that's been missing has
been really tough.
But being here the short time that I have has really lit that fire.
Felt really good with this. Felt disappointed with that. I showed my
personality. I just hope that was enough.
You guys did a great job.
And in classic Finding Mr. Christmas fashion, we have another twist.
Oh, come on.
Oh, what?
Take a look at your scene partner.
Going into elimination tonight, one of you will be on top and safe, and the
other will be in the bottom and at risk of going home.
Now I'm getting a little worried. That crash was so embarrassing and so bad
that there's no way that I'm beating out Logan.
One of you is going home tonight.
We'll see you soon. You never know.
Let's talk about Davey and Angel. Angel did wipe out... Even though once he did
recover, it was great, he did take a little bit of time to get there. I
noticed that Davey took a little bit to come out of his shell. Because we were
waiting. for him to take off his goggles. Like, take off his goggles.
When he took off his goggles and looked at me, I was like, beautiful eyes.
Now let's talk about Jake and Craig.
Craig was really like, oh, we are in this together. You are locking in with
me. I'm glad to hear that he locked in with you. And Jake did pretty good with
the skiing, but he seemed to forget a lot of his lines. He wasn't really
looking me in the eyes that much, which is hard to connect.
It doesn't matter if you forget the lines. If you're looking at her,
something will happen.
So Marcus and Robbie. Marcus, first of all, is so gorgeous.
I know. Like, I was looking at him thinking, am I going to forget my lines?
Now let's talk about Gabriel and Rustin. I loved Rustin. He just had this easy
confidence to him. And I love that as a scene partner.
Gabe's nerves might have gotten the better of him all day today.
All right, now let's talk about Logan and Drake. The most beautiful
combination of men ever.
Drake came in and overshot his mark and he wiped out. But I loved Drake's
quirkiness. I wanted to lean into it. I agree. Yeah. All right, ladies, we've
got a tough decision to make, but unfortunately, someone has to go home.
This is the first elimination.
It's literally a winter wonderland of stress and anxiety.
One person from every team is going to be at risk of going home.
That's scary. I really want this. I really want to be Mr. Christmas.
Hello, gentlemen.
Welcome to the place where your spot in this competition could be put on ice.
After every star quality challenge, we will join here and decide who moves one
step closer to being Mr. Christmas and whose stocking will be missing from the
mantle in the morning.
Today, we asked you to perform a classic Hallmark meet cue. This challenge was a
hard one.
We asked you to act, ski, and connect with your leading lady.
Some of you succeeded, and some of you struggled.
But there can only be one winner.
The winner of the Meet Cute Star Quality Challenge is a guy that locked in with
Janelle and turned it into magic.
And the chemistry was absolutely undeniable.
That winner...
Is Rustin.
Congratulations, buddy.
You were so grounded in that scene. She was just incredible to act with
such a force.
To bring that kind of energy back to me and meet me in the middle is so
wonderful. And that's what makes the magic. So thank you so much.
Logan.
Angel.
Craig.
Marcus.
You all.
outperformed your partners today and are safe in this competition.
That means Davey, Drake, Gabe, Jake, and Robbie.
One of you will be leaving the competition tonight.
Will you please step forward?
The thing that terrifies me most about this is if I got sent home before I
could show who I am and really what I can do.
I just can feel my heart.
Beating through my suit is just gut-wrenching.
Robbie, Davey, the two of you struggled a bit with your props, and you kind of
flubbed some lines.
But you stayed committed, and that's why you both are safe. Go ahead and step
back.
As much as I'm relieved I'm safe, seeing Gabe down at the bottom up for
elimination, I'm a little bit scared.
it would be extremely tough to move into the next phase of this competition
without gabe there jake camera loves you yeah but you fumbled the lines
and you couldn't seem to recover drake you have this infectious energy
but we need you to show us your leading man qualities gabe you seem nervous
during your scene and it looked like you couldn't shake it because of that
janelle felt like she had a little bit of a hard time connecting with you jake
gabe drake one of you will be going home right
now unfortunately
jake it's time to take your
stocking down you're going home for the holidays
Jake, you came into this competition doing something you have never done
before in your life, and you should be so proud of yourself.
I haven't had that time with a bunch of guys and building that bond and
relationship since football.
What an emotional rollercoaster.
It's a good feeling to have that spark back.
Going home, it's going to be really hard, but hopefully...
You'll see this face again.
Don't forget, this is a competition, and only one of you will leave here a
winner. I will see you tomorrow as we continue the hunt to find Mr.
Christmas.
