Previously on Finding Mr. Christmas.
The competition is closing in. Our five leading men were given a breakup scene.
The scene you're about to perform takes patience, listening, and vulnerability.
And we had one more surprise in store for them.
You'll not only be performing in an emotional scene with a Hallmark star,
but we've invited another surprise guest to direct you.
Action! You have to believe me. Julia?
Hayden's risk using an American accent paid off.
Hayden, congratulations.
While Jonathan and Blake struggled with their lines and more emotional material.
Say your line.
You're not supposed to say anything.
In the end, Jonathan was eliminated.
Jonathan, take your stocking down. You're going home for the holidays.
Four leading men remain as we continue the hunt for Mr. Christmas.
Dang, I missed the sweater memo this morning, huh?
You kept it cool today. That's what I get for sleeping on the couch last
night. Oh, yeah, true.
True, true, true. How we feeling, boys?
I want y'all to know, I love y'all, but I'm coming for y'all. Oh, there he is.
Speaking of... All right, let's go. Come on, let's go.
The gloves are off, gentlemen.
There's snowmen everywhere, and there's Jonathan smiling at us.
I'm not sure what's going to happen.
Congratulations on making it to the Frosty Four.
However,
only three of you will advance to the finale where one of you will win a role
in a Hallmark holiday movie and be crowned the first ever Mr.
Christmas.
Despite our brotherhood, at the end of the day, I'm here to win, but I can love
them when they're number two, three, and four, and I'm number one.
Do you want to build a snowman?
Absolutely. Good, I was hoping you'd say that because today you'll face off and
make your undressed snowman look like our resident snow hunk. Everything you
need from carrot noses to a festive hat is hidden in this workshop.
Each team must find a total of seven items on their side of the room.
A hat, eyes, nose, mouth, pipe, scarf, and buttons.
You'll be working in pairs because last week you learned the importance of good
direction and how it can affect your performance.
And today we're going to test you on that. Hold on a minute.
There's a twist.
One of you will be blindfolded and the other will be their guide. Oh, man.
Oh, boy. This challenge is all about listening, communication, and taking
direction.
Okay, so this is how our challenge is gonna work.
Whoever has the blindfold on is the only one that can hunt for the items and
build the snowman.
And the director must stay within a three-foot radius of his snowman. The
pair that recreates the snow hunk the fastest and the flurriest wins.
Before we carrot on, I gotta bring out the magic to my hat.
The one and only Melissa Peterman.
Hi, guys.
Hi. Please tell me you didn't do all those puns without me. I did them.
The winner of today's challenge will get an advantage to be used in tomorrow's
star quality challenge.
Pairs have been selected randomly.
Elijah and Hayden.
So this is great.
Elijah and I get to team up for the very first time.
Ezra and Blake.
I like this. I love being teamed up with Blake for this. I was a quarterback.
He was a receiver.
This is the perfect tandem.
Ezra and Blake, who's blindfolded and who's directing?
I'm blindfolded and I'll be directing.
Hayden, Elijah?
I'm blindfolded. I'm directing. Let's go.
All right, Blake and Hayden, come on up and put on your blindfolds.
Trust each other. Trust each other. We just made a pact that I'll be as fast as
I can to get what I need to, and he'll be the opposite. He's going to be slow
and precise.
You locked in?
Locked in.
All right. I'm totally blind, but I trust Elijah.
Everyone ready?
Set.
Snow! Wait, just go. Bro, don't go anywhere unless I tell you. Don't go
anywhere unless I tell you. Two or three steps forward.
All right, stop there. Take a left.
Half a step forward, now bend down. We got a pipe right by your right kneecap.
There's a pipe in your hand right there. Yep.
Communication being a very important skill is not new to me. So many times in
a rescue swimmer scenario, communication is what means life or death.
Feel where your left hand is? Yes.
That's a nice spot, bro. Right where we want it. Okay, go to your left.
Keep going. I'm scanning the area, and the first thing that I see is the carrot
nose. Go up, up, right there.
Go forward.
Boom. Oh, you dropped it. It fell behind the thing. Okay, I heard it, I heard it,
I heard it. The carrot falls behind the sled.
There's a sled in front of you. But it's behind the sled?
Yeah. Got it.
There we go. All right, cool. Perfect, perfect. That could have been really,
really bad.
Okay, there you go. Up. Okay. All right, right there. Yeah.
Okay, all right. So we're tied.
We're tied.
You got a bag of eyes right on your right hand. Don't move. Right there,
right there. Blake is so good at listening to direction.
We are cruising.
We're in the zone.
There it is. That's the hat. Let's go. And our snowman is looking really good.
There we go. Bro, perfect.
I just saw the scarf. Get down on your hands and knees. There it is. That's it.
You got it. A little bit to the left.
There it is. There you go.
Perfect. Elijah and Hayden have some ground to make up.
Right in front of you. Right there. Is it a basket?
Yep. Yep. It's the eyes.
It's chaos. We're trying to find all our things. Here looks good. Yeah, right
there. Three, two, one.
Boom. Lock it in. Okay, where's the hat?
Okay, the snowman can see and breathe. By your right knee.
There you go. Right hand. You got it.
Mouth. Mouth. Let's go. Oh, man.
I cannot see a single thing.
I actually decided to crawl for the first part of this challenge because it
was way easier to navigate. I knew I wasn't going to trip on anything and eat
it. Teach me the ways, Frosty. Okay. Start right there. One. Boom. Right
there. Here? Happy? Right there.
That's beautiful.
It's looking nice.
Okay. It's looking nice.
All right, yeah, not that. Get rid of it.
We get the first four items really easy. That's not in there. Bro, what else is
by your right knee? I can't see. And then we hit a wall.
Now to the right. Now spin to the right a little bit. What is right by your
right knee? There's a couple. I can't see.
No, I know. Go to your right where your left foot is. Reach right down right
there. Boom.
Should be scarf right in your hand. You feel it? Elijah is really good at
direction. When I got super comfortable, I started being able to stand up and
actively walk because I knew where everything was at that point. Come here,
Frosty. You're looking a little chilly, mate.
Oh, there we go.
We now have a tie.
It's anyone's game. All right, your left hand is on it. That's the carrot.
All right, nice and easy, bro. Your foot's... There you go. Now, right
there's the middle of it, okay?
Oh, hat came down. You just knocked the hat down, but that's okay. We'll fix
that in a second. All right, all right.
Slowly turn the head towards you, just like a couple inches. Right there, okay?
All right, I'm going to come to this side. You're really close.
Slowly get to the head. All right, you're too far to the left. You're too
far to the left. Nice and easy. Get it in there. Yep.
Beautiful. Now let's get the hat. I'm starting to feel frustrated.
Be very careful of the snowman to your right. Keep going forward. I've got to
walk him through finding that and to get it back on the snowman before we can
even move on to the next item.
Right.
Oh, yep, you feel it? Nice. So nice and easy.
Then redo the hat.
Lower, lower, lower.
Perfect. Get the hat on there. Really good. Let's find the buttons.
Okay, this must be buttons. Yes.
Happy? Happy? Yeah, that's fine. That's fine.
Dead heat. Dead heat.
All right, nothing in there.
Bruh, come on. Help me a little bit. Pick that up. There you go.
Oh, they've got a hat.
There you go.
Boom. All right, now we just need the pipe. Let's go.
Elijah and Hayden just found their sixth item. If they can get their snowman's
pipe, they win.
Okay, where is it? Where is it?
Felt like we had such a good lead, and now it's gone.
They're not in there.
I cannot.
I have no idea where these buttons are. It's frustrating, and we cannot find the
last two items.
Oh, there we go. Okay.
Right there. Yes. Let's go.
If Elijah and Hayden can put this pipe on, they win. Here it goes. Here goes
the pipe. Here goes the pipe.
I'm still just looking, bro. I'm still just looking.
Down.
Right there is good.
How about... Dig it in there. Dig it in there.
There you go.
Happy Frosty moment!
Alisha and Hayden are winners!
Take those blindfolds off, boys.
Frosty, you gorgeous man.
I just want to know where they are.
Oh, my God.
In the book.
Are you kidding me?
Come on, Ezra.
That was so much fun, and you guys did such a great job. Over here.
Congratulations,
Elijah and Hayden. You guys are our winners, so you both get the advantage
of extra time with our special guest in the Star Quality Challenge, who you'll
meet tomorrow back here in Santa's Workshop.
I am psyched. This means so much right now, because if I'm going to the finale,
every little thing counts.
Bye. Bye.
And the big island's massive, right? Hey, guys.
Hey. What's going on? How we doing?
Good. Why don't you come over here? Let's have a chat. All right. We've been
throwing so many curveballs in this competition.
I'm wondering what's going on here. We're nearing the end of the road, but
we've never got to actually sit and talk.
So is there anything you guys want to chat about? You want to ask me?
Would you recommend just absolutely going to every audition you get? Yes.
Every time you audition is a chance to practice auditioning. Audition for
everything. Meet everyone.
Absolutely. What advice would you want to hear if you were kind of in our
shoes?
To succeed in this industry, you have to wake up every single day and not be able
to not do it. This is what I want to do. This is it. What we do is weird. Always
remember that it's about your family, and that's what Homework Channel does.
It's always about your family, and whether that's a chosen family, whether
that's your related family, you know, nurture the relationship.
Hollywood never comes up and hugs you, but your family and your friends do. My
dad and my mom gave me the best gift.
They believed in me. When other people didn't believe in me, when I didn't
believe in myself, and all I want to do now is show my appreciation to them. And
when this whole thing... And now we're down to this group, and to see how much
all of you have worked and pushed yourselves and put yourselves out there,
I knew you guys were going to be good.
I didn't know you guys were going to be this good.
And I'm so, so, so proud of all of you.
You can bring it in. Come on.
Team Hulk.
We got this.
That was awesome. It makes me proud of myself and proud of all of you guys.
Like, there's something he sees in us that, you know, maybe we do have a
career here. Hey, if he says it, I... You know what I mean? Like, I feel it.
Well, I don't know about you guys, but I'm ready to see who this special guest
is for the star quality challenge.
I wonder who it is.
Let's go, bro.
All right. The last elimination ceremony, I was in the bottom two.
So today, I'm going to bring the heat.
Hopefully, it's not another sad challenge, but we'll see.
Hey, guys. Welcome to your next star quality challenge.
Up to this point in the competition, we've asked you to step into scenes that
were classic Hallmark movie moments.
But there's one Hallmark staple we haven't explored yet. Ooh.
And that's the dancing scene.
Oh, man. Let's go.
I'm so weird with dancing.
I don't have experience with it. Dancing scenes aren't about acting like you can
dance. They're about acting through dance.
We should be able to watch you dance with your co-star and know exactly what
your relationship is.
I'm pretty excited. I love to dance and I'm pretty confident going into it.
I know it might feel like an overwhelming task, but don't worry.
Our special guest for today is a dancing superstar who you've seen on Dancing
with the Stars.
Please welcome Emmy-nominated choreographer, the beautiful,
incomparable, Whitney Carson.
Hi.
Hi. Hi. Good to see you. Good to see you. Whitney Carson.
She can move.
Elijah and Hayden, because you won the festive face-off, you're both going to
get extra time with Whitney.
Let's go.
I could not be more relieved to have this advantage.
Elijah has danced professionally.
Blake has done the two-step in front of a live audience. And we've all seen Ezra
on those skates. Extra time with Whitney is going to change the game for me. Each
week we talk about connection.
There's more than one way to connect with your co-star. You can do it through
words, through looks, through movement.
And we've chosen a dance to make sure that connection is there.
The Waltz.
I've done plenty of two-stepping and line dancing, but I've never waltzed
before, so I'm a little worried about that.
Besides connection, we'll be judging you on performance, showmanship, and overall
leading man energy.
Let's do it. All right, well, I guess I'll leave you guys to it, but wait, we
need one more thing.
Your scripts.
Another layer.
Another layer to the performance.
We have to memorize these lines and dance steps.
I don't even know what a waltz is.
This might be the one to send me home.
Are you guys ready for this?
Move your hips a little bit. Let's do it. Whitney,
good luck.
See you, Jonathan. See you on the other side. Okay.
The waltz is very poised, very graceful. The waltz is counted in sixes. Okay, so
one, two, three, four, five, six.
Kind of this kind of swaying motion. Very graceful. You want to take care of
your lady.
And then this is where you're also going to deliver those lines to me and we'll
have a little monologue together.
You guys ready to learn some?
Yeah. Let's do it.
Someone taught me how to do a very basic cha-cha.
Other than that, haven't danced, so this is a whole new world for me.
Okay, so you always step forward with the right foot, okay? So you're gonna go
right foot forward, left foot back.
Right foot forward, left foot back. Yeah, easy enough. One, two, three. One,
two, three. Okay, so now this is when the partner comes in. Now come on in.
We're going to let you lead. Okay. And we go.
One, two, three, two, two. Nice. One, two, three, two, two, three. Good.
Very nice.
One, bend.
Beautiful. Okay.
And then this is kind of the tricky part.
We're just going to back up a little bit. So you want to go around and back.
Yep, exactly.
And then try to get your eyes up so we're not looking at our feet. And we go
one, two, three, two, two, three. Now this way. Yeah, good.
Smile. Good.
I can dance, so I'm okay there. Left foot back. Oh, shoot. Right,
forward, left.
But I'm more like a little shimmy shake, you know?
Shimmy shimmy shake shake shake We're gonna test your abilities a little bit
and we're gonna do a little bit more of a fast-paced dance as well. There's more
There's more The waltz is really gonna be about presenting being that leading
man The fast-paced stuff is just really having fun fast fast feet. We go piano
piano piano legs together Point your feet and front and back
even though
My track in Hamilton was one of the most dance-heavy principal tracks in the
show. I'm not quick at picking up choreography.
Spin across and step, tap, step, tap.
One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, and one.
Rainbow, turn, in. There you go.
Dance practice is going good. I feel like I'm catching on really fast.
And I'm just going to do a little arch around the world. There you go.
Know that I get to dance with her on TV.
Our last pose.
I mean, I'm just on cloud nine.
You guys did such a great job.
Blake, Ezra, why don't you guys go get dressed for your performance?
Let's do it. Thank you so much. Thank you so much for teaching us.
And then... I definitely need more time to go over our scripts, too.
And then Hayden and Elijah, you guys get a little extra time with me. So what do
you guys kind of want to work on? Is it the waltz? Is it the fast-paced stuff?
I think the fast pace, yeah. Yeah, I'm feeling comfortable with the waltz.
This very fast-paced sequence, it's going to be difficult, and I need to
work on it now while I have her so I can build that confidence going in and then
practice on my own. Step, tap, or change.
How'd those taps go? I went too early.
Okay, just make sure you're on your right foot on count four, okay?
No, no, no, no, no, no. So you're gonna, it says really, really, then you'll do
the actual waltz dance.
Oh, no. I think the... Oh, I got you. Then you do the waltz. And then after
the waltz ends, you're still in this position, and that's when you say, let's
give them a show, because let's give them a show is the fast pace. And then
we start doing the waltz? Then we should say, really? Like, really. Then you're
just doing the stance.
Okay, cool. Nice. Back and forth with the spinneter. Then you stop. And then
you'll stop, and then you'll be like...
Now let's give them a show.
Perfect. Okay, that makes sense.
I should be telling you, I'm competing against you. I'm helping you out. A
spin, a cross, and step, tap, step, tap. If I forget these steps, it could be
game over.
You could just kind of keep me right in front of you. Okay, boom. Then that will
make for a really good ending. Okay.
And I cannot let that happen.
Go get ready for your performance, and I'll see you out there. I really could
have used another 10 minutes, maybe an extra half an hour.
But I'm going to put my best foot forward and let's see how it goes.
All right.
Whoa.
I love what you've done with the place.
Yeah. So the winter wonderland has changed.
I love what you've done with you. Look at you guys.
Hey, guys.
Hey. Are you ready for your performances?
Absolutely. I am.
Would Ezra's leading lady please come on out?
What? I'm just beside myself. I have no idea what's going on.
Who is about to come out?
Oh, my goodness.
Oh, my goodness.
What?
Hi, Ezra.
Everybody, this is my best friend and youngest sister, Barbara.
Ezra, how is it to see your sister?
I feel like I'm in a dream.
But I wouldn't want to be in a dream with anybody besides you, so I think
we'll be okay.
Is this your baby sister?
Youngest of the family, but most mature and cool at the same time.
My sister Barbara, she's the main reason I got into modeling in the first place
and has given me all the advice and inspiration, and it's been priceless.
I'm so inspired to really get out there and just do my best now.
I'm very confused.
I have no idea who they could possibly be bringing out for me. I've got no
family here. Would Hayden's leading lady please come on out?
What are you doing here?
I was going to see what the bus was about.
Wow, this is crazy. Are you okay?
Yeah. She doesn't cry, so what did you guys do?
The last time I saw my sister, Jess, I was getting married.
And so much has changed. I can't believe she's here.
I haven't seen her since last year.
And she's helped me through the last year more than anyone.
I love you so much. It's crazy.
That's so sweet.
Well, welcome, Jess.
Thank you.
To have her come all this way really shows how much she loves me. I'm so, so,
so blessed.
You got her from the other side of the world.
She's been on a plane for days.
Three days.
Blake, are you ready to meet your leading lady?
Yes. Come on.
Would Blake's leading lady please come out?
Who's this, Blake?
This is my sister, Sarah.
The one and only.
The one and only.
That feels like home.
Yeah. Sarah, tell us a little bit about Blake.
He's so fun.
He's the life of the party.
Every room he walks into, he brightens it up.
I love you.
There's only been a handful of our times to where we're dressed in, like,
ballroom attire. So to see her decked out with the dress, the makeup, I mean,
this is an emotional moment for me.
Elijah, do you have any idea who it could be?
There's, uh, no.
Elijah's leading lady, please come on out.
What out walks my girlfriend, Ashley?
I'm blown away.
Oh my God. Hi.
Very much.
Oh my God. I missed you. I missed you too.
I'm so happy you're here. Me too. I'm lucky, guys. I got two leading ladies
here right now. We got one right here.
She's been kicking all day. All day? I've been so nervous.
Ashley.
To know that she got on a plane, pregnant, to support me in this journey
and be able to look back on this and share this moment with my daughter and
be like, you were with mommy right there. It means everything to me. This
looks like a lot of love right here.
And we can feel it, too.
All right. The time has come.
Melissa and I are going to get out of here. And you guys are going to do your
performance with Whitney. Try and keep up, man. OK?
Oh, and we've got one more surprise for you.
You're performing for a live audience.
Wow.
I immediately get kind of a little nervous.
Good luck, guys. Story of my life.
Try and keep up. We have to say lines on top of dancing.
Hi, guys. Come on in.
And we have to do it in front of so many people.
Dance with me.
You dance? I do now. I've been taking lessons.
Wow. Well, I was right. I don't mean to brag, but rodeo.
I don't mean to brag, but rodeo. I'm just going over my lines with her.
Oh. Yeah.
You're going to say rodeo?
Those aren't the lines, but I'm going to put that in my own little spin-off.
Blake, you're first. Okay.
Watch me work.
And action.
Dance with me? You dance?
I do.
Taking a few lessons.
Wow. Wow was right.
And I don't mean to brag, but this isn't my first rodeo. Really?
Really.
Let's see what you got.
Let's give them a show.
Five, six, seven, eight.
Let's dance around the Christmas tree tonight.
Let's do it again. Sorry.
It's okay.
All right.
We'll try it one more time. You got it. You got it.
Seeing Blake try and start over is tough.
One, two, three. Yeah.
Ready?
Six, seven, eight.
Let's dance around the Christmas tree tonight.
Let's take the chance while Santa's on his way.
Oh, come on now.
We'll be singing holly jolly. He'll be singing in his sleigh.
Let's dance, let's dance, let's dance the night away.
And scene.
Great job.
Nice job.
I smiled from ear to ear, and I felt confident.
And so I know if you feel confident, you look confident.
And maybe that will let the judges not focus so much on the mistake I made.
Is she single?
No. Oh.
I done found out, too.
Let's go, Elijah.
Here we go. You got it, bro.
Heading into this scene, I'm still nervous about these steps.
I really, really, really don't want to mess this thing up. Our dancer, Elijah.
Bar is high for him. But if I can do this, finale, here I come. And I'm that
much closer to being Mr. Christmas.
And action.
Dance with me?
You dance?
I do now.
Been taking some lessons.
And I don't want to brag, but it's just a warm-up for me. Really?
Really. Let's see what you got.
All right.
Yes.
I mean... Come on!
That was fun. Yay.
Leaving the scene, I'm feeling very, very good.
I believe I hit all the steps.
I brought life to it and character.
Picking up, you ready? Because we're going to do this when we get home. Okay.
I think there's a chance that I could win this star quality challenge tonight.
Ezra, you're up.
You're going to kill it, man.
Stand by and action.
Dance with me? You dance?
I do now.
Been taking lessons.
Wow, impressive.
Wow is right.
I don't want to brag, but this is just a warm-up for me.
Oh, really?
Really.
Just a warm-up, huh?
Let's show them how we really do it
You're just the best, and I love you.
Don't cry.
Having my sister here for this one, I'm more at peace. It's okay.
I was able to perform at the level I was definitely not expecting.
Glad you went with your instinct and got a professional dancer to train them.
Instead of using you? Yeah.
Hayden, you're up next.
I've learnt the dance. I know it as well as I'm ever going to know it. It's time
to earn my spot in the finale.
Stand by.
And action.
How do I look? Yep.
Hey,
come dance with me.
You dance?
I do now. I've been taking some lessons.
Have you? Wow.
Wow, indeed.
I'm not mean to bragging.
I don't mean to brag.
Sorry, I can't really speak.
But this will just be a warm-up.
Really? Okay. Let's see what you got. Okay.
Ah, let's give him a show.
Let's dance around the Christmas tree tonight Let's take a chance
while Santa's on his way We'll be swinging holly jolly, he'll be
singing in his sleigh Let's dance, let's dance, let's dance the night away
I know I'd made mistakes.
It really kind of hits home and all of a sudden it's like,
I probably am going home tonight.
Yes.
So fun.
You guys, from rehearsal until now, I am so, so impressed.
So you should be very proud of yourselves.
Absolutely. You know, why don't you go spend some time with your loved ones?
They came really far to come see you. That sounds awesome. Does that sound
good? Yeah,
not having been home in three years definitely takes its toll.
I miss my family dearly.
Having my sister here is taking the edge off the fact that I forgot my lines.
There's, like, 30 Christmas trees around.
Oh, my gosh. It is amazing.
Excited when you saw me? Yeah.
I'm going to kill you for dragging me on TV, though.
Blake better never question my love for him.
What do you think of the house? It's gorgeous.
Oh, my God.
Just having baking cookies every night. It's what it smells like in here.
I recently just made cinnamon rolls for everybody. I'm so proud of you.
Let's go. I'm so excited for...
our whole family to get to see what you've been up to and that's gonna be
crazy they're gonna love it it is so cute in here yeah a little christmas
tree and decorations yeah little babies i know she missed
you yeah i missed her too she kicking yeah she's moving a lot is she how are
you tripping out it's been like a real emotional roller coaster yeah it's been
a ride to say the least i've shared this with the guys and stuff but like when
playing football like you watched me my whole life and i dedicated like all my
time to football and that was like my passion it lit a fire in me it it just
was that spark that kept me alive you know and ever since college and that
happened i have Like, you've seen what I've done. I've tried Spartan races,
marathons, just everything.
Trying to find that. Just trying to find it. Like, small things would, like, fill
it for a couple of months, and, you know, I'd move on to something else.
Right. Just trying adventure after adventure.
But, Sarah, I'm not kidding you. Like, since I've been here, I've, like,
finally found something that I love, that I'm, like, good at.
This is amazing.
So awesome.
I'm proud of you. I love you so much. I love you.
As cliche as it sounds, I mean, family is truly all you got.
I don't want you to leave.
Thank you for coming.
Can you say bye to my baby girl? Okay.
I love you.
Thanks for the hugs. You're freaking amazing.
I had a brief moment of feeling like I was home, you know? Yeah!
Stunned and so happy.
So happy.
We have some tough decisions to make right now, ladies.
I just have to say, to have that moment where the loved ones come in and be so
surprised and be emotionally overwhelmed, and then having to switch
it. Yeah. And you're performing, you're dancing.
I mean, so much was going on. So I give them props for what they did.
Final four.
Having our family come here, our support system come here. Let's talk about
Blake. He was first.
Loved the little ad lib of... This isn't my first rodeo. I thought that was
really cute and clever, and just him. So endearing.
My critique really would be just a little bit more, like, finesse and
leading man energy. Like Robitaille, sort of? Robitaille, yeah. Just a little
bit more in that waltz. He tried to have fun, but a little bit nervous energy.
Let's do it again. The nerves kind of got the best of him.
When you said, oh, I got two leading ladies in midnight, that was like, that
was so sick.
Then let's talk about Ezra. He was a really good leading man.
He really just had that nice sway.
And then once he got into kind of the playful stuff, he was great.
I thought that for someone who's so, like, muscular, he seemed so loose on
the floor, which I thought looked really great. He was the first one to almost
offer you a gentleman hand.
Dance with me? I felt like he was a really good partner. He really gave off
that energy of like, hey, you can trust me. I'm going to lead you through this
waltz, which was great. Seeing how Kat was like, yeah, dude.
Man. That was awesome. But let's talk about Hayden. I think during the
monologue, he messed up a little bit.
I mean, to bragging.
I don't mean to brag.
But he just kept on going, and he just gave us the claps, and he was loving the
audience. And I felt like it was just a little bit too playful. I would have
liked to have a little bit more of a leading man energy.
When Hayden was doing the scene with you, he was the only guy that kind of
stayed away from you and delivered the lines and then pulled you in for the
moment. So that was a different choice, which I really liked.
I'm so happy that we all are here and got to experience that. And we have
Elijah. He's such a good dancer. He didn't have to worry about, hey, this
step comes next.
Make sure you spin me here. It was just he knew where he was. And then I started
to have fun.
But did he have the same connection with you that Ezra had? I don't know.
That's a really good point.
Unfortunately, there's only room in the finale for three.
We have to make a big decision.
It's not fun.
Heading into this elimination, the heaviness of the moment is just hitting
me. Being this close to just making it into the finale, no one wants to go
home. We all want this so bad.
I don't know how the judges are gonna make a decision tonight. I feel like
it's in God's hands at this point.
Let's talk about your loved ones surprising you today, huh? So fun and
amazing. I really appreciate you guys doing that somehow.
We thought you could use a little dose of love right now.
I have to say, the amount of time that you guys had to rehearse that and then
be able to perform it was really, really impressive, and I had so much fun
dancing with each one of you. Today, we challenged you all to execute
choreography while acting.
We wanted to see showmanship, connection, and that hallmark it factor.
Tonight, one of you will be named this week's Shining Star, and one of you will
be headed home for the holidays.
The winner of the Star Quality Challenge is the guy that jumped in feet first,
overcame his fears, and proved he just might have what it takes to be Mr.
Christmas. Tonight's shining star and the first guy to step into the finale
is... Ezra.
Congratulations.
Ezra, your smile and your connection to Whitney...
lit up the room, and that is what we like to see in our leading men.
Congratulations. And if I can just really quick, too, say thank you to
Whitney. Oh, thank you. I don't think I've ever seen somebody move more
elegantly in my entire life.
So if I was able to accomplish that, it's cool.
We are not graceful. Thank you.
Okay, never mind. I mean, I can't do that neck thing because, you know, I'm
old.
Hayden, Blake, and Elijah, three of you stand here.
but only two of you will be joining Ezra in the Finding Mr. Christmas finale.
But we do have to send one of you home for the holidays.
The second person moving into the finale is... Elijah.
Congratulations, you'll be joining Ezra in the finale.
Thank you.
I'm excited.
I can't believe that I'm going to the finale.
Hayden and Blake, will you please step forward?
One of you is at risk of leaving the competition.
At this stage in the game, it's not just about the challenge.
It's about your overall journey in this competition.
Blake, why do you think you should stay in the competition?
Because I want to stay here more than everything.
I'm proving to my family and myself that fire that they saw on me when I was
playing ball back in the day, that Blake is still down there.
Hayden. Hiya.
Do you feel like you deserve to be here? I do.
I should trust myself, and I should be more confident.
And if I leave today, I'm going to leave with the lesson that I am enough.
Blake, Hayden, one of you will be going home tonight.
I made it so far into the competition to where I feel like I could just taste the
finish line, and I don't want to go home now.
There's two things happening in my mind right now. I do want to be Mr.
Christmas, but Blake and I are really close.
Knowing one of us has to go home, it is heartbreaking.
Unfortunately, Blake, it's time to take your stocking down.
You're going home for the holidays.
Just making it this far in this competition, I already feel like a
winner. And everything else is just icing on the cake.
My heart's at peace.
To come here.
without any experience, and you're in top four. And there's a reason for that.
What you have, innate ability.
You can't teach that. And I just have loved watching you. You have grown, and
you have impressed us throughout this competition.
Thank you to Melissa.
Thank you to you. Thank you for you working with us today. And of course,
thanks to my guys.
And most importantly to me, thank you for bringing my family here to share
this moment with me. It means the most. And I'm going to take everything I've
learned here and carry it on.
Blake. The competition will not be the same without you. Thank you. It's time
to say your holiday goodbyes.
Thank you.
Leaving here, I want to be known as just another guy that's just out there
chasing a dream.
Just out there chasing opportunities and putting himself in uncomfortable
situations and just hoping for the best, you know, and letting the cards fall
where they may. And I hope that if some people are watching this back home and
they're nervous about a situation, just go for it. Who cares what people think?
Put yourself out there, be vulnerable, and see what happens.
Congratulations to all three of you because you've made it to the finale of
Finding Mr. Christmas.
Give yourself a round of applause, boys. This is a great thing.
It's time for you to bring forward everything you've learned in this
competition. Get some rest, because next time I see you here, we'll be announcing
the winner of Finding Mr. Christmas.
