[Music]

tarzan

orphaned at birth in darkest africa

raised by the great apes

he grew up in the primitive world of the

jungle until fate brought him face to

face with his past

taking his rightful place as earl of

greystoke tarzan soon became

disenchanted with civilization

he returned home to africa

tarzan

lord of the jungle

are welcome here anytime

the next live thousand today i honor

chief calaba on behalf of the manumi so

that our two tribes might live in

harmony

the wagambi

calabar is a good man

he'd do anything to help other people

[Music]

uh

[Music]

the fury

it's true

it's folklore

that says whoever relates the sun will

spread fury across the land

the zadoos are living the lord tarzan

they're shooting flaming arrows across

the sun

trying to realize its flame

once the sun reappears they'll stop

it'll be too late

they'll think they're gods

tarzan

a son of zedo

the evil spirit will overtake you

[Music]

tarzan

you can't ignore this

since when do you believe in dark forces

timma

it's history it's happened before my

father's told me about it

at least let's make sure

i am sure

then prove it to me go to the zadoo

village i don't have to prove anything

fine

i'll go myself

you can't timber

because you know it's not safe

i'll go

[Music]

[Music]

[Music]

hyenas and the honda highlands

[Music]

[Music]

ah

[Music]

uh

[Music]

[Music]

the fury has begun

[Music]

they didn't attack you they do not

attack their own

i should have known you were a part of

this

the high priestess of opar

has their hands in many things tarzan

regrettably this is not one of them

the fury of the zadoo is bigger than all

of us

even me

an orphan should take care to know who

his friends are

and you are my friend law

show a little difference tarzan

and we could be practically

family the fury of the zadoo is a myth

really well have you asked yourself why

the animals that taught you the way of

the jungle have gone from this place

the evil spirit has reawakened

it guides the sadhu

tells him that they are the masters who

decide who lives and dies in the jungle

calabar's spirit is much too strong

he's filled with kindness the dark force

has descended upon him

he's helpless like the others

i'm not affected but you are most

affected

the zad you thirst for blood

they sacrifice the souls of others to

feed the evil spirit

but the spirit itself

hungers for the living

yours is the soul it desires

the soul it needs to survive

why aren't you afraid law

because we will flee to the safety of a

power

with those we love

i won't run

oh to hear you speak this way

40 lifetimes ago

the evil spirit carried its fury to the

ends of the continent then it's time to

stop it

look

pretty isn't he

set him free and he will live his whole

happy stupid little life as a

grasshopper

but if the locusts come

and he gets caught up in the swarm

and rubs his wings against them

his body will change into the deadliest

most destructive creature on earth

another locust

[Music]

reason is dead

if you go into that jungle their ways

will become your ways

not without a fight you cannot fight the

evil spirit

return with us tarzan

i speak to you not as a sovereign

but as a woman who cares for you

more than you deserve

more than you know

calabar's my friend

[Music]

your friend

and what am i about to flick off your

shoulder don't touch me

your friend

he is the one who put the evil spirit in

your soul

loyal friend

ah

come

[Music]

[Applause]

[Music]

[Applause]

[Music]

[Music]

away tarzan i'm just glad you're

unharmed for now

once zaza do kill enough souls to

strengthen the evil spirit

he will come for you

and he will be strong enough to win

you cannot take his powers lightly i

have felt the evil spirit take control

of me if i don't defeat it soon i never

will

come with me

[Music]

my private oratory

no man has ever stood within its walls

[Music]

you're stronger than you think tarzan

the evil should have taken over you a

long time ago

all men are powerless against the fury

the zaddy may think you a son of their

tribe

but the spirit of the sheep runs in your

blood

[Music]

you have met the dark force and fought

it

the others need your strength

your blood is our chance for a potion

will it calm the zarya

fury will be even stronger

because the evil spirit is ready to take

your soul

but you must be in its presence when you

release the potion

you must brush up against it

[Music]

you'll need protection

[Music]

[Music]

drink this

for strength and cunning against the

fury

[Music]

uh

[Music]

[Applause]

we'll have dominion all over par

we'll have happiness together

each other aside for now

[Music]

no potion will change that

this night

our love would be empty

i don't care

you deserve better than that law

another time

tarzan

sometimes i place my needs ahead of

others

that is the royal privilege

maybe this time i too

am a victim of the evil spirit

if you think ill of me

i would be deeply pained

[Music]

i don't

[Music]

you are always welcome here tarzan

even with the thought of another

in your heart
