any reason to trust me but you you heard

that that thing that

that creature

i i think is some kind of kind of a

demon what the natives call shita

then it would be wise to leave alone no

i can't i can't you see that like the

thing that monster i believe it has

possession of my daughter

carly

yes

i'm robert mccallion

kelly's father

i hired those idiotic hunters we've been

been tracking the demon for oh

weeks without any luck

you're the only one who can help me find

it

nobody else would turn to

you looking at

did you say something

go back with your friends

you come back here you bloody heathen

daughter

[Music]

tamba you were lucky the fire burned

right around your village president i'm

sorry i continue

no no don't leave um

this isn't mine uh

as a matter of fact

it's yours

it belonged to your father

i know i shouldn't have been so nosy but

but look he wrote in the back

about his memories about his surviving

in the jungle

his thoughts about you

keep it

he's your father

timber

i never knew john clayton well here's

your chance to learn about your past

your heritage

don't you even want to know what he

wrote

doesn't matter

my father's dead

i want to apologize about my behavior

earlier told you people will leave look

tarzan please you were right about me i

am a drunken old fool

but

from what i've heard legends from the

tribes

you care about kali kali

this is her father or so he claims

robert

robert mccallion

timber

and daba

tarzan please

just talk

tell them to go

yes

yes of course come on you're dismissed

the leopard demon

i think it's come back timba

[Music]

[Music]

please don't kill me

i only wanted to warn you you're in

danger what danger

[Music]

for yourself

i want to be free

be strong

fight the demon carly

find it

she's mine forever

[Music]

been

15 years since i brought my family had

started a mission in the jungle

i came here

to bring the peace of god to the african

people

i came face to face with evil we'd only

been here a few months

and the demon took curry why did you

come back after all this time

carly's mother and i we

searched for almost two years

then my

wife became ill

malaria passed away

after that i lost all hope

as long as carly's still alive

there's always hope

well i realize that now

at the time i

thought i lost my daughter forever

with her my faith in god and everything

i live for

so

i went back to england climbed into a

bottle and

tried to drink away my sorrows

but that didn't work

yeah just made

hurt

more unbearable

then i got the news that carly was still

alive and you try to rescue her

and

the demon had taken her again

your daughter sacrificed herself to save

the lives of others including me

it doesn't surprise me

even when she was a little girl

callie had a

an inner strength

she was special

god knows he was out stronger than her

father

i'll help you find carly

me too

i'm not doing this for you

i gave my word to cauli

we leave a first life but just the three

of us

no hunters i've already dismissed them

they're still out there

[Music]

do we have to sit here in the dark all

night

let's make a fire and tell them that

we're here

what are we going to do be patient

that tarzan lead us to the leopard demon

i'm not so sure

i want to mess with that thing again do

you know what that thing is worth

pt barnum would pay at least a million

dollars for an attraction like that

we're going to be very rich

what about tarzan and the drunk

once we've got what we want we'll kill

them

[Music]

come on

[Music]

pink flesh if you come for some lunch

no wise one your stomach might be empty

but your head is filled with questions

yes

just a little something to get the heart

pumping

ah

a woman

at last you come to me with a problem

with solving

very pretty

delicate like a prancing gazelle

she's possessed

her soul has been swallowed by cheetah

my heart whips for her

this woman holds much good inside

and you great warrior you wish to save

her

what must i do even now she struggles to

bring the demon to you

go find her

how do i free her

face cheetah with a pure heart

and the woman will find the strength to

free herself

but be careful

there's one with you that brings much

trouble

her father should i tell him to leave

look inside yourself for the answer

[Music]

you're confused

very good pink flesh

i like you this way why must you always

talk to me in riddles it's my curse

mine too

[Laughter]

once you have freed this woman bring her

to me

i must purify her in the waters of the

magicity or the demon will devour his

soul forever

in return for all my help

you will hunt me something delicious

a kudu or

some fish

that's all why do you ask me questions

if you will not listen to my answers

never mind about the fish

i'll bring you the kudu

and i will eat it

with great satisfaction for now you can

be happy with your porridge oh

thank you for your wise advice i learned

so much from you great warrior

an eye from you

a tarzan read the book

the book it will solve some riddles for

you

[Music]

[Music]

hmm

[Music]

something wrong

we're being followed timba

the hunters

[Music]

get rid of that bottle

i'm just quenching my first it's hotter

than blazes out here

you said you'd stay sober i am

believe you me

and take a lot more than this little

bottle to get me bleary-eyed

the hell are you doing no more drinking

what's his problem

you

[Music]

i just just can't give her my whiskey

just like that i'd get the shakes so it

wouldn't bother you after all these

years

when you finally see kali again

you might be falling down drunk

well of course it would bother me

because i'm just bloody thirsty all the

time then drink some water there's a

spring just behind the trees

[Music]

i i've never really cared for water

it's too too bland it's got no bite to

it

all right

give it a try

[Music]

good

[Music]

there's no sign of the hunters

let's move on

you said i could keep it

where's mccallion

getting a drink

of water

[Music]

[Music]

i don't know where you went

[Music]

huh

[Music]

i guess he wanted to be alone

[Music]

but he's not

[Music]

kelly

[Music]

do it

[Music]

look we're trying to find her daughter

let's go

would you get up

look what we have here

[Music]

let go of her

[Music]

watch out be careful

[Music]

[Applause]

let's go

[Music]

[Music]

[Music]

[Music]

[Music]

does it hurt

the bullet went all the way through

i'll be all right

why didn't you let them kill the demons

killing isn't always the answer kali

but it's evil

how do we know that

my father

he's changed so much not like i remember

him

it's been a long time

[Music]

and my mother

she's dead carly

i'm sorry

[Music]

[Music]

i promised

i'm free

after all these years

i'm finally free

[Music]

[Music]

you must think i'm terribly silly

no not at all

here i am gushing over a little bit of

water it's just

it's been so long since i could really

feel things most people take life for

granted carly

you've been given a gift yes and every

moment is precious

i never realized how much i missed miss

being alive

you're safe here

no i know the demon it's power cheetah

will never rest carly i'm taking you to

a seer for purification the demon will

never harm you again

let's go and what's about my father

we'll come back for him and timber first

i have to get you to busy come on

[Music]

tarzan and the girl passed this way not

too long ago who cares about them we

should be tracking that million-dollar

cat

he's right

you don't need us anymore it's always

good to have a husband come on lawson

let us go i want to be with my daughter

so does the creature

we find the girl a leper demon won't be

too far behind

and i've got this gut feeling that

little carly and tarzan are gonna come

looking for daddy

[Music]

you're losing a lot of blood

i can make it

[Music]

we've got to get to the river

[Music]

oh hi

oh

[Music]

get up i can't

get up

come on

click it won't follow us into the water

come on

[Music]

uh

[Music]

[Music]

i'll give anything for a drink is that

all you care about

you don't like me very much dear i don't

know you but i don't like your drinking

neither do i but it's all i've got

what about carly

if you're right

i finally got my daughter back

just that i've been with ada for so long

i find it hard to believe she really

exists but she does

you saw her with your own eyes

she's no longer my little girl

she's still your daughter

yes no matter what happens between us

kali will always be the most important

thing

in the world to me more important than

your bottle well of course i'm a father

then why don't you start acting like one

[Music]

oh

wait

i can't belong

there's a storm coming

what are we going to do

i know a place nearby where

you'll be safe

[Music]

across here

along with that bloody creature

the storm's about to hit

they're not going anywhere i'm jumping

these trees

i think you can make

it i'm a lousy swimmer but i'm good at

climbing trees

me too come on

[Music]

this is quite a place

how did you know this was here

[Music]

this is where i was born

[Music]

[Music]

i love this old chair

i remember my father used to rock me in

one just like it

i guess this belonged to my father

what do you mean

you guess

i never knew him

he was killed not long after i was born

i was raised by the apes

i'm so sorry

why

you don't miss something you never had

why did your parents come to africa they

were missionaries

just like mine

they were shipwrecked

stranded here

i'm lucky

my father's still alive

i'm sorry i didn't mean to upset you

i know what it's like to be separated

from the ones you love do you

one thing i've learned is you can't

change the past

can't accept it

live on

but the past makes us what we are

get some rest

thank you

tarzan

i'm worried about my father he's with

timber i'm sure they'll both be fine

no

i'm scared that he i mean

i've changed so much

we hardly know each other

why didn't he come back from you before

he did try to find you

after your mother died he'd lost hope

i did too

carly

no matter what's happened with your

father remember

he did come back for you

sweet dreams

[Music]

[Music]

cheers

no no no no no i'm not

getting drunk

just a few slip sips to help me drink

sleep

the good book

yes i've i've spent

many hours cruising those pages

not that it didn't be very much good of

course

mime's full of scribblings too

i always wrote my thoughts in the margin

you have a good hand

i could never understand my own writing

chicken scratchings

i didn't write this it belonged to

tarzan's father

what are we going to do about them

nothing

we'll wait for tarzan

what if he doesn't come

he will

you just have to have a little faith

hey

that my friend is something i lost a

long long time ago

[Music]

[Music]

[Music]

[Music]

[Music]

[Music]

it's time to go

[Music]

foreign

[Music]

[Applause]

[Music]

[Music]

[Music]

why you old fox you got to have faith

timber huh

[Music]

[Music]

[Music]

uh

[Music]

[Music]

[Music]

the leper demon

that way

[Music]

[Music]

into the water

[Music]

always the impatience of youth

[Music]

[Applause]

take me

coming to me

[Music]

[Applause]

[Music]

it's done

[Music]

[Music]

always forgot

i think this is yours

[Music]

[Music]

[Music]

my boy the end is near for me and i fear

for your survival

but if by some miracle you are reading

this know that i am always with you

in your darkest hour take comfort as i

do now in psalm 121.

this is my lasting gift to you

[Music]

my help cometh from the lord

he is my keeper

the sun shall not smite me by day nor

the moon by night

the lord shall protect me from evil

[Music]

he shall preserve my soul

[Music]

[Music]
