Xavier: ♪ Xavier Riddle and the Secret Museum! ♪

♪ Shh! ♪

Brad: Hi there.

Ahem. Welcome to the show.

Xavier: We're about to meet someone very important.

Yadina: Sir Winston Churchill!

Brad: Winston Churchill grew up to become the Prime Minister

of the United Kingdom.

Xavier: That means he was the leader of the whole country!

Yadina: That's a very important job,

where everyone listens to what you say.

Good thing he was a good talker!

Xavier: If he were here right now,

he'd say something like:

'Now is not the time to turn off your screens,

but to look forward to the show ahead.'

Brad: Or he might just say, 'Let's start the show.'

Yadina: Now you're talking.

Xavier: Ok. Let's get hands-on at the hands-on center.

I'm going to paint.

Yadina: I want to do...

paper crafts!

Brad: Oh, okay. I think I'll-

(gasps)

Is that modeling clay?

Jin: Hey Charlie, let's build a castle!

Charlie: Yeah!

Jin: I'll make the towers. You do the walls.

Brad: Hey, um, I know how to make castles.

Can I build with you?

Jin: Okay! Charlie: Sure!

Brad: Great! I'll build a moving drawbridge.

It's kind of my specialty...

Jin: Nah, we don't need a bridge.

My walls will have spikes all over.

To keep the dragons out.

Roar!

Brad: Okay. But if we have a bridge too-

Charlie: Here, you can make the flag!

Brad: (sigh) Okay.

Here goes.

Brad: Aaahh! Yadina: Sorry, Brad.

It's just us! We decided to paint paper masks.

Cool, huh?

Xavier: Hey, you're building a castle!

Are you going to make one of your

super awesome drawbridges?

Brad: I wanted to,

but the other kids aren't really listening to me.

I don't know what to do...

Xavier: To the Secret Museum!

Brad: Aaah!

As if time travel wasn't scary enough already.

Xavier: I wonder who the Secret Museum will send us to meet?

Yadina: And where we'll go?

Brad: And when?

Clock: (alarm) Brad: Woah!

Yadina: Look out below. Xavier: Woo-hoo.

Xavier: Hi Berby! Yadina: Hi Berby!

Brad: Hi Berby! Berby: Hello.

Brad: Oof!

Xavier: (humming) Berby: Woo!

Xavier: We're getting something.

Brad: What is it?

Yadina: A bow!

That would look very handsome on you, Dr. Zoom.

Xavier: I wonder who it belonged to?

Xavier: 'Sir Winston Churchill'.

That's who we're going to meet!

Yadina: Oh, it's a bow tie!

Brad: Looks like we're going to England,

part of the United Kingdom.

In the year 1882.

Xavier: That's over, um...130 years ago!

Brad: Whoa! I hope Winston Churchill

can help get those kids to listen to me.

Xavier: Only one way to find out!

Xavier: Ready for adventure?

Yadina: Ready!

(deep breath) Ready.

Yadina: Here we go!

Brad: It's happening! Yadina: Hang on, Dr Zoom!

Xavier: Woo-hoo! Brad: Woaaah!

Berby: (laughing)

Xavier: So this is England in 1882.

Yadina: Any sign of Winston Churchill?

Churchill: Excuse me, you're standing on my treasure!

Brad: Oh! Sorry. Here's your, uh-?

Churchill: Treasure!

Thanks.

Yadina: (gasps) That's him! Winston Churchill.

Churchill: Sorry I startled you,

but I had to speak up for myself.

I need this for the game. Xavier: Game?

Churchill: Yes! Treasure Hunter.

I play it a lot back home.

I just got here and don't really know anyone yet,

so it'll be nice to play with everyone.

Yadina: We just got here, too! From the future.

Churchill: Oh. uh...

Do you want to play?

Yadina: Yes, please! Xavier: Count us in.

Brad: But, we've never played Treasure Hunter before.

Churchill: Oh, it's fun!

Let me explain.

Churchill: There are two teams--Green and Yellow.

They each have their own flag.

That's the treasure.

The treasure sits in your home base.

To win, you have to grab the other team's flag

and bring it to your home base,

before they capture your flag

and get it to their home base.

Yadina: Sounds fun. Xavier: Piece of cake.

Churchill: But, that's not all!

If the other team tags you,

you have to sit in the 'out box'

for the rest of the game.

Yadina: Got it. Get the other team's treasure,

bring it back to your home base,

and don't get tagged.

Churchill: Exactly! One of you can be on Team Yellow with me,

and the rest can join Team Green.

Yadina: I wanna be green!

And you're with me, Xavier.

Brad: So, I'm playing against you guys?

Churchill: Don't worry Brad,

I have a plan!

Churchill: Okay, team yellow. Here's my plan-

Churchill: We shouldn't run straight at the green

team or we'll get tagged.

It's okay, Winston. You're new here!

We know how to play.

Benjamin: We just run really fast, grab their treasure,

and run back. Easy-peasy.

Churchill: Uh.. But they might tag us!

So what if we-

Thedore: You can stay here and guard our treasure.

(shouts) Game on!

Brad: So... I guess we'll just go with what they said?

Churchill: But, I know how we can win.

Benjamin: C'mon, Brad! Run!

Brad: Uh-- coming!

Churchill: Hm, I need to speak up for myself.

Brad: Uh-oh! Kids: (laughing)

Yadina: Hi Brad!

Hate to tag you, but it's part of the game.

Benjamin: Retreeat!

Brad: Huh? Retreat? Yiikes!

Churchill: Where's Philip?

Benjamin: He was tagged by the kid

in the strange hooded shirt.

Brad: Uh oh... we're losing!

Churchill: Not for long!

If you'll listen to my plan, we can still win.

See those trees over there?

Churchill: We can run around them

so it's harder for them to tag us.

Benjamin: Nah, the trees will get in our way.

Theodore: We just need to run faster.

C'mon!

Brad: Um, maybe we should just go along

with what they're saying?

Churchill: No, when you have something important to say,

you need to speak up for yourself.

I know how to win.

Churchill: Brad, you guard our treasure!

Brad: If Winston can't get our team to listen to him,

how am I supposed to get those kids at the museum

to listen to me?

(sigh)

(squeaking)

Brad: What do you think, Dr. Zoom?

Wait. Dr Zoom?

Where's our flag?!

(giggles) Brad: Uh-oh.

(laughing) Guys!

They took our treasure!

(laughing)

Nooo!

Xavier: Look out.

Yadina: This is fun.

Benjamin: Nooo! We're gonna lose!

Yadina: I'm so fast.

Churchill: Hmm...We can't give up!

Please, listen to me. I have a plan...

Churchill: Benjamin and Theodore,

you keep Xavier away from his home base.

That will give me time to sneak in and grab the green flag.

Xavier: Uh-oh.

Yadina: I'm the fastest.

Churchill: Now here's the big idea:

I'll tie the flag onto Dr. Zoom

and toss the turtle all the way to Brad,

at our home base.

Brad: C'mon, c'mon.

Yadina: Go Dr. Zoom! Fly!

Xavier: Yadina! Keep running!

Yadina: Oh! Right.

Here I come!

Xavier: (gasps)

Brad: Oof!

Churchill: Yay! We did it!

Team Yellow wins!

Theodore: We did it! Benjamin: We won! Yippie!

Hooray Winston and Brad!

Xavier: That was amazing! Yadina: Yeah.

Brad: Thanks, guys.

What's even more amazing is Winston Churchill.

He had something important to say,

and he spoke up for himself!

He had a plan to win the game,

and he spoke up so our whole team would listen...

I think I'm going to try that.

Brad: Bye, Winston!

Benjamin: That was fun.

Brad: Thanks for everything!

Xavier: Berby? Let's go home.

Xavier: Okay, Brad.

If you could make that awesome play, you can do anything!

Yadina: Go, Brad! Go, Brad! Go, Brad!

Brad: I just need to speak up for myself.

Brad: Hey guys? I have some ideas for the castle that, um,

I think you'll like..

Brad: I like building real-looking castles. Don't you?

Jin: Yeah. Charlie: Oh yeah. Of course.

Brad: Well, real castles have drawbridges.

Jin: Nah, we don't need a drawbridge.

Brad: But, real castles also have a moat,

filled with lots of water.

Charlie: Oh yeah! Moats are cool!

And if you have a moat,

you can't get into the castle

without a drawbridge.

Like this. Right?

Jin: Whoa! Charlie: Yeah.

Okay - let's make a drawbridge!

What do we do? Brad: I'll show you!

Brad: Ta-da! Our finished castle.

Complete with... (chains clinking)

drawbridge!

Yadina: Coooool!

Brad: All thanks to Sir Winston Churchill,

who always spoke up for himself.

Yadina: And when he got older,

he spoke up for his whole country

as the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.

Xavier: And is considered one of the best leaders of all time.

Brad: Thanks for joining our awesome adventure to meet

Sir Winston Churchill.

Yadina: Who used to be a kid, just like you and me.

Xavier: So kids like you can change the world!

I am Xavier.

Yadina: I am Yadina.

Brad: I am Brad. And I will always speak up for myself,

just like Sir Winston Churchill!

Berby: (bleep, blarp, bloop)

♪ Doo dee doo do do do doo ♪

Berby: (bleep, blarp, bloop)

Berby: Hey! Yay!

Yadina: Hi Berby, you ready for hide and seek?

Berby: (excited beeping)

Yadina: 1, 2...

3, 4...

5, 6...

7-8-9-10!

Hiding in the butterfly conservatory huh?

Dr. Zoom, did you know there are twenty thousand

different kinds of butterflies?

Where could you be?

Aha!

Hmmm...

Oh Berby? Where are you?

Oooh, scarlet peacock butterflies!

My! What big beautiful wings do you all have?

All the butter to fly with! (laughter)

Get it? Butter to fly with!

Berby: (laughing) Yadina: Butterfly!

(laughing)

Aha! Gotcha Berby!

Thanks for exploring the museum with me Berby.

Everything is more fun when we do it together.

Xavier: Hi. Glad you could make it.

Today, we're about to meet...

Yadina: The one and only...

Brad: Cleopatra!

Xavier: Cleopatra was the Queen of Egypt.

Yadina: And she was born a long, long, long, long, looong...

(panting)

loooong time ago.

Xavier: Two thousand years to be exact!

Yadina: Now that is a looong time ago.

Brad: Oh boy. Two thousand years ago?

That's a long time ago.

Little dizzy. Pheww.

(deep breathing)

(thud)

Yadina: Start the show?

Brad: Yes please.

Xavier: It only happens a few times a year,

and I've never seen one before. And, uh...

...oh! It'll look super cool and super big and...

so, I'll say to Mom and Dad:

Please can I stay up all night to see the super moon?

Yadina: You lost me.

Xavier: There's going to be a super moon tonight.

Which is basically a moon that's extra big

and extra awesome.

Yadine: Wow. Brad: Cool.

Xavier: And I really want to see it.

But...I'd have to stay up past my bedtime.

Brad/Yadina: Ooooohhh.

Yadina: You know how serious Mom and Dad are about bedtime.

Xavier: That's my problem.

And why I'm practicing on you guys.

I need to find the perfect way to ask.

Any ideas?

Yadina: I know. Tell Mom and Dad

you've got two words for them:

Super...moon.

Xavier: I like it.

But, it didn't work when Dr Zoom wanted more pie.

Yadina: True.

It was a sad day for Dr Zoom.

Xavier: Any ideas?

Brad: Me? I'm sort of a

'quietly-hope-for-what- you-want' kind of guy.

Brad: (whispers) Not the secret museum,

not the secret museum...

Xavier: This is a problem for...

the secret museum!

Yadina: Yeah!

Brad: Ugh. Of course.

Wait for me!

Xavier: I wonder who the Secret Museum will send us to meet?

Yadina: And where we'll go?

Brad: And when?

Yadina: Look out below! Xavier: Woo-hoo!

Xavier: Hi Berby. Yadina: Hi Berby.

Berby: Hello Brad: Hi Berby.

Oof!

Xavier: (humming) Berby: Woo!

We're getting something.

Yadina: What is it?

Brad: A coin! I wonder who that is?

Xavier: "Cleopatra." The coin must be hers.

Yadina: And we're going to Egypt to meet her.

Brad: And we're meeting her in 60 BCE?

Xavier: BCE stands for Before Common Era.

Yadina: Before what? Xavier: Before Year One.

Yadina: Whoa.

Brad: So we're going back by

two...thousand...years?

Berby: (computing noises) Brad: Oh boy.

Yadina: I hope Cleopatra can help you stay up

to see the Super Moon.

Xavier: Only one way to find out.

Ready for adventure?

Yadina: Ready!

Brad: (deep breath)

Ready. Yadina: Oh, Brad.

Xavier: (laughing)

Berby: (computing noises)

Xavier: Here we go!

Brad: It's happening!

Yadina: Hang on, Dr Zoom!

Xavier: Woo-hoo! Brad: Whoa.

Berby: (laughing)

Yadina: So this is Egypt in 60 BCE.

Xavier: It reminds me of back home at the museum.

Brad: Time traveled...

so far...so dizzy.

Oof!

Brad: I'm okay!

Ah-choo! Cat: (meow)

(purring)

Brad: It doesn't matter where we are,

I'm always, always, allergic to cats.

(meow) Brad: Achuu!

(meow)

Yadina: Hey, it's Cleopatra.

Cleopatra: Ya su.

Yadina: Xavier, we need the translator.

Xavier: Oh. Right!

Cleopatra: Hello! I see you found my cat.

Do you like animals? Kids: Yeah!

Cleopatra: Wonderful. Because I need some help.

Could you please look after him for me?

Kids: Hmmm. Um...

Cleopatra: Just for the day?

Xavier: Okay. Yadina: Oh, okay.

Cleopatra: He's very friendly, and clearly likes you.

Brad: (laughing) Thank you so much.

I'm sure you'll look after him with great care.

(meow)

Brad: Did I just agree to catsit?

Yadina: Yup. That happened.

(sneeze)

Xavier: We better go find Cleopatra.

Xavier: (gasps) There she is.

Cleopatra: Oh hi again. Come on in.

Xavier: Hey Cleopatra, question for you;

how did you get us to watch your cat?

Cleopatra: I asked the right way.

I was prepared, confident,

and polite.

Xavier: Huh. Well, it worked.

Brad: Ah-choo! (meow!)

Yadina: Buut our friend Brad

is kind of really allergic to cats.

Brad: (mumbles) Uh huh... Cleopatra: Oh, Sorry Brad!

Cleopatra: I was just trying to get away for awhile

so I could go to the big festival in town today.

Yadina: Big festival?

Cleopatra: Yes. It's a really big party

where everyone dresses up and plays music.

♪ (festive Egyptian music) ♪

I really want to go.

Brad/Yadina: Wow.

Cleopatra: But I have to ask my dad

if I can miss my afternoon lesson.

And he is not going to like that.

Xavier: I can totally relate.

I really want to see a super moon,

but I have to ask my parents

if I can stay up past bedtime.

Cleopatra: Ooo, that's a tough one.

Xavier: So how are you going to ask your dad?

Cleopatra: I'm going to ask him the right way.

I'll be prepared, confident, and polite.

Xavier: But what does that mean?

Cleopatra: I'll teach you.

Cleopatra: First, when you ask for something you really want,

you have to be prepared.

That means you have to know how to explain what you want.

Cleopatra: I want to go to the festival

so I can meet new people,

have fun and learn new things.

Brad: Be prepared. Xavier: Got it.

Cleopatra: Next, you have to be confident.

If you don't believe what you're saying,

neither will your parents.

Brad/Xavier: Oooohhh. Yadina: That makes sense.

Cleopatra: So stand up straight-

Look them right in the eyes,

and speak clearly.

Cleopatra: No fidgeting because it distracts

from what you're saying.

Brad: Oh. Right. Ah...

Cleopatra: Lastly, and this is very important, be polite.

Say please and thank you

because it's the right thing to do

when asking for something.

Yadina: I'm always polite.

Thank you.

Cleopatra: (laugh) Good.

Xavier: But what happens if they say no?

Cleopatra: Well "no" means no.

But, you can try to think of why they'd say no

and come up with an idea to help them say "yes."

Xavier: Like what?

Cleopatra: Come, I'll show you.

Cleopatra: Dad?

There's something I would like to ask you.

This afternoon, I'd really like to go

to the festival in town.

I know that means missing my lesson,

but I think, going to the festival

will be good for me as a future Queen

to get to know people and learn new things.

I also think it will be lots of fun.

So please can I go?

Xavier: Uh-oh. Looks like he might say no.

Cleopatra: I know my lessons are important

and I shouldn't miss them.

So, what if I take two hours of lessons tomorrow

instead of just one?

King: Mm-hmm.

You asked in an excellent manner, Cleopatra.

You may go.

Cleopatra: (giggles) Thank you so much, Dad.

Xavier: Asking the right way totally worked.

Yadina: Cleopatra is goood.

Brad: Really good.

Just like this good little kitty.

(laughing)

(people cheering/celebrating))

Xavier: Okay. I have got to try this.

I'm going to ask Mom and Dad if I can stay up

to see the super moon, in the right way.

I'm going to be...

prepared, confident and polite.

Crowd: (cheering)

Cleopatra: (laughing)

Kids: Bye, Cleopatra! Thank you.

Cleopatra: Bye!

Xavier: Berby? Let's go home!

Berby: (bleeping)

Xavier: And so, since it doesn't happen very often,

I would like your permission

to stay up past bedtime to see the Super Moon.

Please? It would be a great learning experience,

and really fun.

Yadina: This isn't looking good.

Xavier: But, I know that bedtimes are important,

because we need our sleep.

Soooo, what if...

we go to bed an hour earlier tomorrow?

Xavier: Now that is a super, Super Moon.

(whispers) Thanks Mom and Dad.

Yadina: I think tomorrow, I'll ask for a cat.

Brad: (sneezes)

Yadina: Wasn't meeting Cleopatra so much fun?

Dr. Zoom loved the head dress.

Brad: When she grew up,

Cleopatra became the Queen of Egypt.

Xavier: And even though she lived a loooong time ago,

people are still really interested in her today.

Yadina: Yup. There are tons of books and movies all about her.

Xavier: Thanks for joining our awesome adventure

to meet Cleopatra.

Brad: Who used to be a kid just like you and me.

Yadina: So kids like you can change the world.
