Female Prime Minister

Episode 45

I am Madam of Yue of Chen

You are just a Zhaoyi with 3rd degree

Why are you still standing and not greeting me?

I have the queen's seal of Qi

I represent Her Majesty

Why do I have to greet you?

Indeed

Zhaoyi Lu

A straightforward person does not resort to insinuations

I invite you today is to tell you that

those who suit their actions to the times are wise

Persuade His Majesty

to marry with our Princess

Canonizing Her Majesty is a major issue

I am just a female officer

I have no right to interfere His Majesty's decision

Sir Zhaoyi, don't be humble

Everybody knows that His Majesty

wanted you to be greeted by all officers with him

during heaven worshiping day

In this case,

may I know why Emperor of Chen

wants Princess Tongchang

to marry to His Majesty of Qi?

Doesn't he afraid that

His Majesty dotes on me only

and she has to sit by herself at home most nights

It appears to me that Sir Zhaoyi

is mentally prepared

to be Her Majesty

As for sitting by herself at home most nights

You don't have to worry about it

Our Princess is so beautiful,

His Majesty will dote on her for sure

Is that true?

Then you shall go and persuade

His Majesty on your own

Why do you have to ask for my help?

Why do you have to ask for my help?

Because our Princess

will be your sister in the future

after she becomes Her Majesty

I am doing it for your good

to ask you to be middleman

Don't waste your effort

I am not so fortunate to have

Princess as sister

Sir Zhaoyi, please don't say that

I can guarantee that

our Princess is magnanimous

and won't jealous with you in the future

A Princess of a nation, indeed

Well educated

She is neither jealous nor gets angry

But I don't know

if she still considers herself as a wife

if she has lost the instinct

to get jealous

to get jealous

If a Princess of a nation

has to poison

to marry herself to somebody

Is she still a Princess?

Is a woman still consider as a woman

if she can't even deliver baby?

If she can't even deliver baby?

What do you mean by that?

The reason I said that Princess won't

get jealous with you

is very simple

Her Majesty won't jealous with

a consort who is neutered

You

Seems like you

are not clear that His Majesty

had given you some medicine

to save you from danger

to save you from danger

You can't have baby

since then

You are talking nonsense

How did you know it?

Emperor of Qi keeps it from you

but he spoke the truth to your uncle

And Princess Kang

told Emperor of Chen

accordingly

You can find a doctor

to check with you

if you don't believe in me

You will know if I am telling

the truth by that time

Emperor of Qi is sick now

I know that all of you

are looking for antidote everywhere

But the antidote is a secret formula

from Family Chen of Chen

since hundred years ago

Nothing can heal him

except the antidote I am carrying

You are despicable

I am doing it for Emperor of Qi good

I am doing it for Emperor of Qi good

Every man hopes to have

his own child

According to Confucian moral injunctions for women

You can't deliver baby, you should be divorced

Shut up

But our Princess

considers that you have credit

to Qi

Therefore she allows you to stay

I am really doing it

for Qi's good

If you can't have baby,

then there will be no successor

for Qi

Actually it isn't not a must for Princess

to get married with Emperor of Qi

If there is not news

for another 2 days

I will bring Princess back

By that time, you have to be prepared

for the arrival of army of Chen

But Emperor of Qi

is insane

Who is going to

control the overall situation?

So everything Madam of Yue Country

says is true

I won't be in chaos

when we have our child

in the future

It is not urgent

We still have plenty of times

It's not hurry

Zhan, why do you cheat on me?

You are finally here

His Majesty has just woken up

He read memorial to the throne for a while

He keeps looking outside of the window

I know that even if he doesn't talk

He must be thinking of you

I go in now

Yuan-Lu

I have something to ask you

Will you be happy

if you can have a child?

I have a child

Are you mocking me?

I am eunuch

How would I have a child?

I mean if you have a child

Then I must be happy to the extreme

A man is not considered as a man

if he can't have a child

Looking at His Majesty

dotes on Gao Wei so much

If you can born a baby for him

He must be very happy

I know it now

You are here, Zhen

Yes

I have been busy for whole day

Now only I am free to come and visit you

I have been keeping myself lazy

for the whole day

I ask Zhang Xiang and Jia-Yan

to cover for me

for those works on the front court

I take some rest here

I didn't expect you are suffer more than me

for our marriage

How are things going on over there?

Li Da-Dan

brought workers to stem working today

Everything at kiln will be back to normal soon

Dyeing Department

doesn't have any major event too

We met with silkworm break

during revolt of Lou

We have to stem raising autumn silkworm

so that we can make it during the winter

I am not talking about it

I am talking about my illness

I know you have instructed

all doctors

therefore nobody dares to

tell me the true

What can they tell you

since they couldn't find out anything?

But doctor has reported to me

before I came just now

They said that they have found

a medicine

It can help you to

dissolve Five Stone Powder in your body

Are you cheating on me?

How would I?

But this medicine is not an antidote

It takes time to see the efficient

You have to take at least

half year

Time is not a problem

as long as it can be cured

Yes, as long as it can be cured

How is it? You look distracted

Nothing, I am just thinking

how should I explain to Emperor Wen of Chen

Princess Tongchang

is here after all

The strong doesn't need any explanations

The strong doesn't need any explanations

At most I announce to the world

that he is the perpetrator

that he is the perpetrator

At worst,

we will fight in the battlefield

In summary,

I will absolutely not

marrying with Princess Tongchang

Actually I have thought it over

Once you have become the Emperor

It is impossible for you

to have one woman only

What is going on with you?

Don't tell me that Zhang Xiang

has persuaded you

to have your husband shared by another woman?

Who told me

that

if a man doesn't like a woman

but keep the woman in the Palace

but keep the woman in the Palace

but keep the woman in the Palace

Alright, stop putting on an acts

I know you are a jealousy woman

Zhen

I always imagine that one day

when I am fully recovered

and settled everything with princess Tongchang

and settled everything with princess Tongchang

We can bring Wei

to a place with beautiful mountains and clear waters

and live our life there

and live our life there

Same like those days

when we were at Wang Zhuang

You did the sewing and I catched the fish

How happy we were

By the way

we must bring Nanny along

But I think it is not suitable for you

to bring a child

How is it? Zhen

Nothing

I am just too happy

Madam of Yue Country, can you guarantee

that if I persuade His Majesty

to canonize Princess Tongchang as Her Majesty

You will give the antidote

to His Majesty?

That's for sure

If you can persuade him

Then he will be husband

of our Princess

A wife won't harm her husband

A wife won't harm her husband

Then you have to swear to me,

with Princess of Tongchang's life

that His Majesty will be fully recovered

after taking the medicine

And the troops of Chen

stationed at the border

will retreat immediately

I swear to God

that if I do not obey to the oath

Princess and I will not

have a good dead

Fine

Go back and prepare antidote

I will let His Majesty change his mind

within 2 days

within 2 days

Sister

You have been sewing this clothes on and off

for 2 months

I still need a few stitches to get it done

You have to rush for it

if it is urgent

Where's the clothes of His Majesty?

It's there, I'll go get it

Remember to bring it to His Majesty

at Zhaoyang Hall

tomorrow night

tomorrow night

Ask him to put it on

Sister, you don't have to worry about it

All grooms will remember it

Right, I am over worried

I have to go out of Palace

to take a look at the kiln

to take a look at the kiln

Remember to inform

Officer Du for me

She is in charge with everything

in the Palace

Alright, I know it

Greeting, Sir

You must take good care

of Crown Prince in the future

I know it

Sister

Zhan

I have already left

by the time you read this letter

Some more I won't be back

for a long time

I am sorry, I lied to you

There is no antidote

for the poison you suffered

I don't want you to die

So you must marry with

Princess Tongchang

She will give you the antidote

after you marry her

For the sake of civilians, for your sake

I have to sacrifice

our love

If the issue still can't be settled

between Great Qi and Chen

The war will begin

In this case,

a lot of innocent civilians of Great Qi

will be suffered again

Some more I know that

I can't have my own

baby anymore

An Emperor can't canonize

a neutered woman

as Her Majesty

I will have no regret

if Princess Tongchang

can born a baby for you

I am not only your wife

but the top degree female officer

in the front court

If I sacrifice Great Qi and your life

just because of our love

just because of our love

just because of our love

Then I will be a selfish person

who does not follow the obligation

of the vow I took on that day

I let the late Emperor and Her Majesty down

I let the late Emperor and Her Majesty down

I let all civilians down

Please don't have Princess

Please don't have Princess

Promise me

that you will marry her

and canonize her as Her Majesty

If you can make it

I will come back and visit you

one day

Else you won't get to see

me for the rest of our lifes

Don't send anyone for me

The world is so big,

you won't be able to find me

Zhan, don't be sad for me

You will be my husband forever

in my life

Brother Shen

Let's stop here, thank you

Is it your final decision?

He will be very sad

Better a finger off than aye wagging

I will send someone to inform you

once everything is settled here

Brother Shen, thank you

Zhen

Actually you can be with me

Brother Shen, I have said that

Zhan will be the only man

in my life

Alright, safe trip

Brother, take good care

Long live, Your Majesty

You may arise Thank you, Your Majesty

His majesty descends an imperial edict says that

I want to canonize Princess Tongchang

of Chen as Her Majesty

The ceremony will be held today

Your Majesty, how could it be so rush

to canonize Her Majesty?

Currently is the mourning period of late Emperor

The marriage proposal takes at least 7 days

Some more

I have made my decision

Whoever defies my order will be executed

Your Majesty

You are a groom today

Be happy, by hook or by crook

I make another woman as my queen,

I make another woman as my queen,

yet you want me to be happy?

I know, she did that for people's sake

I know, she did that for people's sake

For my sake, she left

For my sake, she left

I couldn't do this to her

I'll make the woman as queen

But since I've married with Princess Tongchang,

But since I've married with Princess Tongchang,

I've made my promise come true

After all,

there were many queens died all of a sudden

there were many queens died all of a sudden

Your majesty, you want to...

If it's not because of Madam of Yue and Princess Tongchang,

If it's not because of Madam of Yue and Princess Tongchang,

Zhen wouldn't have been cornered

and found out that she's sterile

and found out that she's sterile

She wouldn't have left here alone

They hurt the woman I love,

they shall take the risk

Why are you still here?

Now, your princess is my queen

Now, your princess is my queen

It's our wedding night, you want to stay here?

It's our wedding night, you want to stay here?

I don't mean that

I'm here to give you the medicine

I'm here to give you the medicine

This is the antidote

One will be more that enough

Go now!

I've taken off you veil

You may leave now

Aunt!

Don't be afraid

Forgive me for hiding this from your

Aunt!

I'm scared

Don't tie me up

Don't scared

I'll give you candy

Be good

Your majesty

Our king didn't really mean

to put all the efforts

to make you marry our princess

to make you marry our princess

Princess lives with her mother since small

When she tried to commit suicide,

she hurt her head

For over 10 years,

her mentality is like a 8-years-old child

her mentality is like a 8-years-old child

Our king loves her so much

But he has serious illness

and can only live for few years

He can't entrust princess

to princess's brothers

to princess's brothers

and he has been worried about this

You saved him that day

So, he made this decision

This is the only way he can do

to entrust princess to you

So, you let me marry an idiot as my queen?

So, you let me marry an idiot as my queen?

Your majesty

Please try to understand

our king's love towards his daughter

Our king knows that he shouldn't do this

This is the land titles of 10 cities in Nanjun

This is the land titles of 10 cities in Nanjun

From now on,

they belong to Qi

You thought I'm Lou?

I won't sell off Zhen for 10 cities!

I don't mean that

Our king has made it clear

Princess just need the queen title

Princess just need the queen title

She will stay in the imperial palace quietly

She will stay in the imperial palace quietly

for the rest of her life

I was arrogant on that day

just to build up princess's name

I know that

Lu Zhen has the queen's seal

Besides the title of queen,

she hold the highest ranking in the harem

she hold the highest ranking in the harem

Please forgive me

Please don't get angry

I'm here to take all the blames

Princess is innocent

Uncle

Why are you so sad?

I'll give you some candies

She doesn't even want the queen's title

She doesn't even want the queen's title

Not to mention to hold

the highest ranking in the harem

the highest ranking in the harem

She's gone

Aunt Princess

Your majesty, where are you going at this hour?

Your majesty

I'm fine

Don't worry

She left for the sake of me and Qi

She left for the sake of me and Qi

If I simply give up to be a good king,

If I simply give up to be a good king,

If I simply give up to be a good king,

I'm not qualified to be her husband

I'm not qualified to be her husband

Run!

I 901 you!

Hurry, run!

I 901 you!

Wei told me that

Aunt Liu-Li told him that

he has a godmother

Who?

Your wife?

Right

Why haven't I met her before?

Because she went to

Because she went to

a place which is far away from here

She'll be back after she had her sweet time

Go have your fun

Alright

The business is getting terrible

Tuyuhun has not signed the contract

Nothing I can do about it

Right, Lu is not here

The royal klin has no improvement too

Same with Dyeing Department

Your majesty

You have a relapse?

I'm fine

I read quite a lot of reports lately

Just feel a little bit headache

I think...

Jia-Yan

Don't worry

Just as what you're thinking

The king has a relapse

I miss you

Hope to see you in the capital

Don't be so moved

I've been waiting here alone for 3 years

You have to make compensation for me

Zhen

You must have made your thought clear

and won't leave me again, right?

Great

From now on,

I won't let go of your hand

I won't let go of your hand

till I die

I have the same thought

Now, Emperor Wen of Chen has dead

Now, Emperor Wen of Chen has dead

Jia-Yan must have told you

what kind of person Princess Tongchang is

Now,

nobody can be the hassle in between us

So, I have decided to

make you as my queen

Zhan

The queen's title is just a name

We don't need it

Zhen

I wronged you 3 years ago

I don't want to do it again now

I don't want to do it again now

I shall be thankful that we can still be together

Zhan

Princess Tongchang is innocent

She has lost her parents

If you seize her queen's title

If you seize her queen's title

She would lost everything

I will still stay in the harem

as Zhaoyi

It's much convenient for me not to be a queen

It's much convenient for me not to be a queen

Did you know?

I found many ways

to boost Qi's economic

to boost Qi's economic

during my stay in the west

This include the royal klin and dyeing department

I will handle them one by one

I will handle them one by one

I will handle them one by one

But I can't do that if I become your queen

But I can't do that if I become your queen

But I can't do that if I become your queen

Only if I'm still the officer,

I can make use of my ability

Compared to Hanguang Hall,

I like freedom better

Okay, no matter what do you want to do,

you have all my support
