Her Majesty is here

Dr. Zhu,

You know I don't like to listen to nonsense

My Empress

His Majesty is getting old

I've advised him for many times

to take care of his body

But

Today I heard odalisque say

His Majesty was drinking wine

and having fun with Beauty Zheng in the whole afternoon

That's why His Majesty got his stroke

Get him out and hit him with rod to death

My Empress, don't kill me

No

My Empress

My Empress, don't kill me

My Empress

My Empress, don't kill me

You all step down

My Empress Yes

Don't kill me

When will His Majesty recover again?

When will His Majesty recover again?

Umm...

Tell me

Within these two days

Why I feel it should be today?

Why I feel it should be today?

My Empress

What should we do

Do what you should do

Umm...

Qing-Qiang

Yes

Ask Yan-Er to come to palace now

And tell father

to gather our troops

and wait for order outside of Helv Gate

Where is Gao Zhan now?

Where is Gao Zhan now?

His Majesty sent Prince Changguang

to visit Donghai

They're on their way

back to here now

I don't want any extra person

to show up during

the enthronement ceremony of Yan-Er

Don't worry

I'll get it ready now

Your Majesty

What a waste

You couldn't see your most beloved son again

His Majesty is died

First year of Ganming

Emperor Wenxuan died surprisingly

Before he passed away

He didn't announce his successor

During that time, the empress from Yu's family

has a son called Prince Changguang, Gao Zhan

The step empress from Lou's family

has a son called Prince Changshan, Gao Yan

The throne suddenly becomes vacant

and the state turns into chaos

My Prince, if you go into capital now

You're walking into

the trap of Empress Lou

I know Lou will take the chance to take me down

But if I don't go back now

But if I don't go back now

Maybe I'll never see my father again

Yan-Er, you're eldest son

You should succeed the throne

You should succeed the throne

No, mother

The throne is belonged to Zhan

I can't take it

You know that

father prefers Zhan

to become the crown prince

But I...

Mother, I know

you want me to become the emperor

But Great Qi always choose

capable person to lead the nation

I'm not capable at all

But Zhan is different

For these two years

He has been handling the state affairs

All the people

recognize his ability

I can accommodate with you for other things

But this is the only thing

that I won't allow you to muddle

I tell you what

You must become the emperor

How hard to

make your father die

I won't allow other

to step on our heads

How could you say these words?

I thought you like Zhan last time?

I thought you like Zhan last time?

Do you think I'm crazy?

His mother grabbed away

my empress position last time

And he almost kicked you out

to become the crown prince

I hate him most

Why would I like him?

I pretended for so many years

Today

Finally I can tell the truth

Don't be in a daze

The enthronement ceremony will be held

after four hours

Faster serve His Majesty

to take a bath and change new clothes

Mother Your Majesty Your Majesty Mother

Your Majesty

Aunt, don't get mad

Prince Changshan, no

His Majesty is kind in nature

and couldn't understand your meaning yet

I've tried everything

to put the throne in front of him

But he just cares about his brotherhood

Gao Zhan is very smart

He knows the death of his mother

is related to us

If he becomes the emperor

Do you think he will let us stay alive?

Aunt, don't worry

Uncle is ready for his side

Isn't it?

Although His Majesty is a little bit too kind

Although His Majesty is a little bit too kind

But if the enthronement is succeeded

He will understand it slowly then

He will understand it slowly then

Among our Lou's family maidservants

You are the smartest one

If I keep letting you

to become my personal maidservant

It will be a waste

Liu Shanrong from Chamberlain Bureau

just resigned from her position

Why don't you just go

to become a female officer there

to take care of Chamberlain Bureau?

Thanks, my Empress

Prince Changshan is the eldest son of late emperor

By right, he should become the emperor

We all hope Empress

could issue an edict immediately

to let Prince Changsan become the next emperor

Sir Lou, you're wrong

Although Prince Changsan

is the eldest son of late emperor

But don't you forget

Prince Czhangguang

is the real direct descendent

His Highness not yet back to capital

and you're rushing to crown

Prince Changsan

What is your purpose behind?

Zhang Xiang, be careful of your words

Prince Changsan

is Empress's own son

Why he is not the direct descendant?

My Empress

I'm not trying to be rude to you

But

When Princess Yu of Rouran came into palace

You were the one

who gave the principal wife status to her

and become a normal wife

But after that

Although His Majesty chose you to become step empress

According to the law, a step wife should follow

the rules and regulation in front of principal wife

Prince Changguang

was given born by Empress Yu

If comparing the lineage

Prince Zhangguang is more precious than Prince Changsan

Zhang Xiang, you're an old officer

Of course your words make every sense

But Prince Changguang went out to worship heaven

for a month already

Now we're losing contact with His Highness too

People say

A nation couldn't without a leader for a single day

I have no other choice too

but to let Yan-Er become the emperor

My late emperor

Why you go away so fast?

Why don't you leave some words before leaving?

Otherwise our son and I

won't so suffer now

Empress, Empress

Mother

I can help brother to take care of this nation first

When he comes back safely

We can still let him become the emperor

Shut up

Zhang Xiang, late emperor died of sudden diseases attack

Southern Chen and Western Wei are already

lurking around our nation

I recommend Yan-Er to become the emperor

is not because of personal reason

It is for the nation

In your eyes

Our Lou's family is so inferior

Even Yan-Er is a prince

Even Yan-Er is a prince

He is not deserved to become the emperor

My Empress

I didn't mean that

Zhang Xiang

Empress Lou send 5000 soldiers

to surround this place

Alright, Sir Lou

I agree to crown Prince Changsan

to become the emperor

We would like to let

Prince Changsan to succeed the throne

Faster go to take the imperial robes

and let His Majesty to wear it

Long live, Your Majesty

Long live

This is a misfortune sign

Prince Changsan couldn't succeed the throne

why?

This is just like what we thought

This is just like what we thought

The imperial robe was soaked in acid

and after being dried under the sun for a long time

It started to break when the wind blows

For the moment

All officers ay it is a warning from heaven

to disallow prince to become the emperor

Her Majesty has no choice

Her Majesty has no choice

but to postpone the enthronement ceremony

Wait until Prince Changguang comes back later

and everything will be decided

Great then

Empress Lou is very tricky

If we don't take precaution steps

The throne of Zhan

will surely be grabbed away by her

Any news about Zhan?

Prince, don't panic first

I believe His Highness

must be rushing back

When he arrives

Everything could be solved easily

When the time comes

I'll teach Empress Lou a lesson

Princess, people from palace said Prince

is sick again at Zhaoyang hall

Her Majesty wants you

to go and take care of him quickly

I got it

You go to inform Her Majesty quickly

that I'm supervising people to cook medicine now

When the medicine is done

I'll go to look for them

Boatman

Can you send us across the river?

You have so many guys here

How could I do so?

I can send two guys

across the river for once

Uncle Zhong

I'll go with Yuan Lu first

You bring other guys and follow at behind

Don't worry

I'll look after Prince tightly

I'll look after Prince tightly

Alright, let's go

Impossible

It was witnessed by those imperial guards

It was witnessed by those imperial guards

Prince Changguang fell into the water and died

Yan-Er

You're the only prince now

You're the only prince now

My Empress

Zhang Xiang and Chancery Lou lead other officers

to wait you and Prince Changsan at outside

to wait you and Prince Changsan at outside

Step down

Yes

Looks like these old stubborn folks

have nothing else to say now

have nothing else to say now

Let's go out

Yan-Er, stem from today

You can become the emperor firmly

Mother, tell me honestly

Did you do that to Zhan?

Did you do that to Zhan?

What are you talking about?

I admit I don't like him

I admit I don't like him

But he called me mother

for the past few years

I want you to become the emperor

But I won't go to hurt him

Otherwise after I die

How do I explain to your father

in the heaven then?

Yan-Er

I know your brotherhood with him is strong

But this is not

the time to feel sad

Wait until you succeeded the throne

You can give him

a spectacular funeral

or you want

I won't have any comment about it

I won't have any comment about it

But...

Gao Yan

Now the army of Western Wei

almost break into our Liangzhou city

Think about it

Which one is more important now?

Prince Changsan is crowned by officers

to become the emperor on the day

The reign title changed to Huangjian

He is called Emperor Xiaozhao

Empress Lou is highly respected in harem

Virtuous and honorable

According to the late emperor's testament

Her Majesty will be rewarded as Brilliant Queen Mother

And Empress Lou who helped

Emperor Zhaoxiao succeeds the throne

becomes the one who wields power

behind the curtain

His Majesty wrote and said

Princess Xiao is courteous and kind

Therefore she will be selected as chaise

Wait, Chaise Xiao, please come up

Greeting, Your Majesty

Queen Mother

Ease yourself

I trust Chaise Xiao

Now empress is not selected

So Chaise Xiao will take the Phoenix Seal

and responsible for the duties of an empress

It shall not be breached

Yes

And, Ministry of Justice and Ministry of War

must send elite generals and soldiers

to investigate the incident of

Prince Changguang fell into water

within ten days

Yes

His Majesty orders

in order to celebrate enthronement

Prisoners will get amnesty

All the taxes will be reduced 30%

Your Majesty and Queen Mother are noble and wise

Xiao Guanyin is just a princess

from a collapsed nation

But she never knows how to behave herself

I still haven't questioned her

about the imperial robes incident

Now she comes to puzzle His Majesty

and gets the Phoenix Seal

But she is a chaise

His Majesty is still young

That's why she captured the head

of His Majesty

In my opinion

We better go to

recruit more beauties into palace

When the time comes

Many pretty concubines will be there

Even the Xiao Huan-Yun

is favored by His Majesty

I think His Majesty couldn't tolerate

his bad temper at last

Never mind

Luckily he becomes the emperor in the end

Luckily he becomes the emperor in the end

Finally I can be relieved

after twenty years

after twenty years

Congratulations, aunt

Sooner or later

His Majesty will give you

a smart grandchild

When the time comes

The fortunes of our Great Qi

will become as strong as iron

You do have a sweet mouth

Go

Arrange the interview for concubines

And Gao Zhan is dead

The people from Rouran

will surely take the chance to create chaos

Ask your uncle's guys

to check around the capital city carefully

For those who come into city during these few days

Rather victimized 3000

than miss one

Yes

And

His Majesty just enthroned

Don't we need to make new money

and new porcelains?

I've order them to do so already

Three days later

The new porcelains with new reign title

will be sent into palace

Princess

Look at the bird

It is so happy

Before this

Zhan will catch a bird

and but it on my palm

to make me happy

Princess, slow down your voice

Don't scare

I dare them to tell others

Step down all

Yes

Zhan, don't worry

I'll revenge

on Lou's family for you

on Lou's family for you

I want her

to lament for the death her son

I want her

to die without descendants

Princess

You're the chaise of nation

Don't simply say these words

Do you think

I want to become this chaise?

I'm a princess from Southern Liang

When I first came to Northern Qi

I wanted to become the empress

If not because of Empress Lou

Zhan and I won't...

for the past few years

I tolerated everything in harem

But now

I can't tolerate anymore

Since Gao Yan passed

the Phoenix Seal to me already

I'll make use of

this Phoenix Seal

to revenge for Zhan

For myself

And for his mother too

Xuan, stem from today

You're Shangyi Wang now

In Chamberlain Bureau

Don't let Lou Qing-Qiang this traitor

to dominate in everything

Yes

Start from today

The whole harem will be ours

Come, come, come

Sir Jiang

We're the royal suppliers

for the past three generations

Give us a hand

Lu, I can't

We're friends for so many years

You really made a big mistake this time

You really made a big mistake this time

Look

You scorched these porcelains

You scorched these porcelains

This is enthronement ceremony of His Majesty

You're creating troubles for him

Look

Guys from Ministry of Justice are outside

Even if I have the will the help you

I also don't dare to do so

When the people from Chamberlain Bureau come

When the people from Chamberlain Bureau come

You must admit your fault

Don't talk back

Otherwise you'll not only be sentenced to death

You'll suffer from other punishments too

Think about it

I got to go

Master

This time even Sir Jiang

can't help us

What should we do?

What else?

Just wait to die

You...

What's wrong with these porcelains?

Although they're a little bit dark in color

But they look nice

Is it necessary to

chop down our heads?

You're just a woman

You understand nothing

Everyone says the throne

is belonged to Prince Changguang

On the day of enthronement

The God was furious

Now Queen Mother orders

to catch the people who said

His Majesty used tricks to get his throne

And now we scorched

the porcelains for celebration

the porcelains for celebration

Don't you think

we're committing suicide now?

What to do now?

What about like this

We use money

to pay them and exchange for our lives

Think a way please

It's too late

All the 36 people

in our Lu's family

must explain to them today

Master, not today

Zhu-Er is still small

She can't die, master

Where's Lu Zhen?

Everyone is locked here

But she is missing

First miss

When the soldiers came

She took the chance and escaped from backyard

Faster get her back

Master took good care of her for many years

Now we're facing the biggest trouble

and she ran away faster than anyone else

First miss is...

Shut up

I know

You dislike Zhen-Er all the time

But can't you see

our situation right now?

Zhen-Er is smart

and followed me in doing business for these few years

She has a good network too

How you know that

she ran away is not because of

she is seeking for help?

Moreover, even if she doesn't care about us

and escaped herself

At least our Lu's family

still has one descendent

What about me?

What about Zhu-Er?

God

Why you so unfair to us?

Why you so unfair to us?

Dad, dad, dad

Let me go in, Zhen-Er

Let me go in

Dad, Zhen-Er, dad

The delivery date

is still three days to go, right?

If we can't deliver the porcelains after three days

You just chop down our head then

You just chop down our head then

Dad, look

Finally I found the reason why

the porcelains turns black

Zhen-Er, are you confident

with these porcelains

Dad, don't worry

Yesterday night I have searched

for the information from the ancient books

and I have tried for several times

There won't be any problem

Dad knew that you

have talent in porcelain production

Now, what we can do is

pray to the God

It's the time now, open the kiln

Dad, let's go to take a look

Mom, go, mom

Go, mom, faster

God is helping us

Our family survived!

Look, look

Master, first miss

had saved our lives

Yeah

Sir Jiang

Look, how are these porcelains?

They are fine, glazing and beautiful

Not bad

If Queen Mother see them

Her Majesty will praise the beauty of them too

Lu

You have a good daughter

My daughter of course is very good

But after all she is still a girl

If she is a son

Then our Lu's family

could expect something from her

You should satisfy with what you have

Everyone knows that

the first miss from Lu's family

is handling half of the family business

although she is still young

She is your best partner

But if you are free

Go to check

why the old kiln which used for decades

would scorched those porcelains

would scorched those porcelains

Yes, thank you for reminding me

I will definitely investigate on this

I want to know who is trying to harm our family

Brother-in-law, I knew I was wrong

I shouldn't use the river mud to repair the kiln

Shouldn't use the river mud to repair the kiln

I shouldn't purchase the cheap charcoal

I knew I was wrong

You're always being greedy for taels

Because of your sister

I just turned a blink eye to it

I just turned a blink eye to it

But look at what you did today?

You spent all the 3000 taels in brothel

You spent all the 3000 taels in brothel

Brother-in-law

Master, master

Don't be angry

The problem solved already

Isn't it?

Just forgive Quan for this time

You said it relaxingly

Who was the one cried and shouted

doesn't want to die just now?

Yes, Quan is immature

But he is the only son of in-law family

But he is the only son of in-law family

We will punish him

I will scold him

Quick, kowtow to your brother-in-law

Tell him you won't do it again

Brother-in-law, I admits my fault

Brother-in-law, I was wrong

If our Lu's family has a son

If our Lu's family has a son

We don't need to rely

everything on an outsider

Just leave

Start from today

Pass all the accounts to Zhen-Er

Pass all the accounts to Zhen-Er

You also don't need to

handle the procurement of goods anymore

Sister, that can't be

She is going to get married soon

She is going to get married soon

It's better than letting your Zhao's family

to destroy our Lu's family

Master, sister, what to do now?

Miss, take a look on these account books

Gold shop, bank, dye house, kiln

Nanny

If I didn't read through these account books

I won't notice that

our family has such

huge family business

Of course

Family Lu is the famous

imperial supplier in the city

Miss

Now you are in charge of the procurement of goods

Now you are in charge of the procurement of goods

Even though this is a good thing for you

But you won't have the time to prepare your dowry

since you need to take care of

the procelain kiln and to manage the accounts

Dowry?

I thought dad already prepared the dowry?

It is because master feels headache that

you don't have mother since you're a child

and that's why he arranged

a good marriage for you already

The guys is the second young master

of Vindicator officer

He even gives the house and farm to you

He even gives the house and farm to you

Miss

The day of marriage is coming soon

You as the bride

You should make yourself

new clothes and dress

Nanny, you knew it too

I don't want to get married

You are talking nonsense again

I didn't

I really wish to continue to do business

Or follow my dad's business trip to western regions

Just like what I did when I was young

I want to produce the best

porcelain in the world

I want to open branches of Lu's bank

all around Northern Qi

But all that are impossible

once I get married

But you are a lady

But you are a lady

And you are the concubine's daughter

You can't just doing your business

for the rest of you life

Nanny

Why are you saying the

same thing with dad?

I'm educated

I have earned a lot of money for our family

I have earned a lot of money for our family

Do I not comparable to a man?

People say a woman must get a good husband

in order to get good lucks

Moreover, after you getting married

Give birth to boys and girls

Give birth to boys and girls

So that old madam could feel relieved

in the heaven

No, my mom understand me

I think she doesn't want to see me

being locked in a big house

for the rest of my life

In addition, my mom told me that

A woman could fight for her career too

A woman could fight for her career too

Mom

Mom, what happened to you?

Headache

You must be scared by what happened yesterday

You must be scared by what happened yesterday

Luckily sister is very smart

Don't mention about her

I'm angry because of her

Why I have such a useless daughter like you?

Why I have such a useless daughter like you?

Why I have such a useless daughter like you?

You know what?

The bitch grabbed away the duty of purchasing

which is supposed to be handled by your uncle

It's not grabbing away

Sister has been helping dad

in doing business

She is taking care for another thing in extra

That's not a big deal

Not a big deal?

You know what?

She is handling

ten-thousand-taels business

How about you?

All the jewelery you have

are only worth less than three thousand taels

If she put all the taels

in her pockets later on

Don't you cry in front of me then

She won't do that

Moreover

She is the first miss of Lu's family

What first miss?

She is given born by oldest maternal aunt

Look at yourself

Why you don't fight for yourself?

You should learn about account management

You are my own daughter

She grabbed all the limelight

She grabbed all the limelight

You don't even want to fight with her?

Fight?

Fight with what?

I'm nothing like her

I don't have a mother

who knows books, painting, music and chess

What I have is

a disappointing uncle

who always does dirty jobs

He has no any good reputation here

She grabbed all the limelight

Mom, you hit me?

Zhu-Er, Zhu-Er

Sister, drink some ginger soup first

Zhu-Er is still a kid, she is not sensible enough

Kid?

She is 16 years old!

That bitch started to involve in

business by following her father

when she was ten

Master did it wrong

How could he neglected

his wife and let

a young daughter

to take care of his business?

Because of this

I don't dare to join

the ladies gathering anymore

When mention about this

I am totally ashamed of it

I am totally ashamed of it

It's OK if master is confused

We can't get confused too

If the ability of Lu Zhen

become stronger

She will become the head

of Lu's family in one day

Although not because of me

Although not because of me

You also need to considerate for Zhu-Er too

You also need to considerate for Zhu-Er too

You mean

We still need to be faster

Come, sister

Drink ginger soup

It's getting colder

Alright, don't cry anymore

You know first mother

has a sharp tongue but a soft head too

Don't get mad on her

She always says I'm not as good as you

I'm not as promising as you

Alright, don't cry anymore

Don't you like these?

I have many of them

Just pick one

Sister, these are all you dowries

You really willing to give it to me?

Of course, you have been took

a lot of thing from me since you were young

Sister, sister

I like this

Let me see

Zhu-Er, you should choose another

Zhu-Er, you should choose another

I can't give you this coral necklace

But I like this very much

It's color does not look good

And it does not suit you

You should just choose another

You are very stingy

You are reluctant to give it to me

You are reluctant to give it to me

I only want this

Zhu-Er

What happened?

I heard your voices from outside Dad

I heard your voices from outside

She bullies me

She asked me to

pick a few ornaments

But she refused to give it to me

Dad, this is not true

This necklace...

Let me see

Zhen-Er

You dowry consist of

almost half of our property

You still not satisfy?

This is just a necklace

It does not worth much money

You should just give it to your sister

You...

Zhen-Er, you dare

to disobey me now?

Stay at your room

these few days

You are not allowed to go anywhere

Let your nanny teach you

about the three obediences and four virtues of a woman

Zhu-Er, let's go

Master

My first miss

Why you want to make

master angry?

You should just give it to second miss

Nanny, you don't understand

Although my dad

not allowed me to go out

For the businesses

of few shops outside of the city

I can't just ignore them

So, Xiao Huan

You keep pretending as me

Wear my clothes and read my books

I got to go

Do you mean this one?

Do you mean this one?

Yes, that's it

Dad, look

Master Lu

We knew each other since long time ago

We knew each other since long time ago

I won't cheat you

Although it is beautiful

But indeed

It is not suitable for ladies

why?

This is not the ordinary red coral

It's red color is

dyed by musk

It is normally

wore by the imperial concubines

when they don't want to

have children

Brother Liu, I would

like to buy this

May I know

In the city

Besides your shop

Is there any other shop

which also sell this

red coral?

New emperor just enthroned and declares amnesty to all the people

All the people from Rouran stand aside

Search all the people who enter this city

Look

They don't allow Rouran citizen

to enter the city

OK, let's continue our way

What should we do?

Why they don't allow us to enter the city?

I have something urgent to do

I'm so anxious

Please let us enter the city

I have something urgent to do

It's useless to be panic

That's right

What happened?

They don't allow us to go in

Don't worry

I can arrange

accommodation for you

You guys can stay here tonight

Thank you, thank you lady

Thank you, thank you

Take your time

Lady

Are you helping them?
