the yacht, but I don't regret it at all.

Cos I feel like we've basically come out of this experience with

a lot more in terms of the skills

and resilience that we're going to develop.

So, hearing the revelation came as absolutely no surprise to me.

When I started this experience,

I didn't think I had a chance of resisting temptations

for the full 18 days. So, I think it's fair to say

I feel bloody brilliant.

I've got, like, what I wanted out of this experiment,

which was to indulge,

take time off from responsibility and fighting temptation as a vicar.

My personal journey has been deciphering whether

to take temptations,

or hold out for the prize pot at the end.

If I'm perceived as a hypocrite, doesn't really bother me,

especially with the ten grand in the backpack.

This experience has taught me so,

so much about resilience, about community.

So, I would like that 20K to be split between all of us.

Now that I'm at the end of this experiment,

I can definitely say I've loved every bit of it.

Leaving with as much money as

I can possibly get is one of the goals for me.

Well, look, you've all done it your own way.

Some have taken temptations, others haven't,

you've all had your own journey, but we had one final temptation.

Oh, my God. That was £20,000.

If any of the pairs took it,

it was theirs. If you all turned it down...

..that £20,000 is gonna be split and added to your final totals.

I can tell you...

Our ten fortune-seekers have come to the end of

an 18-day trek on the island of Langkawi, Malaysia,

to take home whatever remains of a £300,000 prize pot.

But one pair have pocketed £20,000 in a final temptation.

Would that final pair like to reveal themselves?

I knew it. Fucking told you, didn't I?

Didn't I tell you, yeah? Fucking rats.

I'm livid over that.

I knew them snakes would take the money.

It's extremely frustrating, do you know what I mean?

Like, I would have been happy to share it,

but Hugo wanted to prove a point.

Sadly, that point's cost me ten grand today, yeah?

Nathaniel and David, what was the reasoning behind taking it?

For me, I wouldn't really say we're a team.

Erm, everyone has their own agenda, so...

There may be members of the group that feel cheated.

You know, everyone did have the same opportunity as I had.

So, fair game.

David, our vicar. Yeah.

What was going through your mind?

Yeah. You know, obviously, I'm a family man,

got a wife and kids. You know,

there's a verse that says that your family is your first church.

You have to prioritise your family and do your best to look after them.

So, when I saw it there,

that's kind of what came into my mind.

I'm speechless. I thought David was a man of God.

In my eyes, he's stolen the money. Very greedy

and I hope he feels guilty.

I thought about the impact it would have,

me and Nathaniel taking the money out of the prize pot,

but I just thought to myself,

"Whatever opportunities I see, I should just grab it."

So, you two are splitting £20,000 between you.

I've been out here spending money on what was important

to me, which was the temptations.

Taking a big chunk of money home was important to David and Nathaniel.

So, no hard feelings whatsoever.

Did anybody else want to take the money?

I did. Yeah, me.

Yeah? I said, "If someone's going to take it,

"then of course I'd rather take it." But he done the admirable thing

and said he doesn't want to. What can you do?

I just thought, we leave here together,

celebrate our winnings,

and go off on a go off on a happy note.

What I wanted was, some nice,

kind of, classical, fairytale ending.

At 20, you know, I'd much rather have trust in people and,

you know, be a bit of an optimist, than think everyone's,

like, out there to get me and only cares about themselves.

And, Sam, what happened with you and Trish?

I wanted to take the money. Erm, Trish said to me,

"I'm not taking out of the prize money.

"It's everybody's money."

And where's that got us now, Trish, eh?

Hey, it don't matter, that's my morals.

At the end of the day, everybody is taking money home.

HE LAUGHS Woo.

Let's talk cash.

Wow.

Forget The Book Of Temptations, we have got The Book Of Revelations.

Wah.

Now, when I tell you these amounts of money,

the ATM cash has been added, as well.

Five of you took out £4,000.

Imani, you took out 1,500.

So, Trish, Tomasz and Hugo,

you took nothing from the ATM.

So, you're taking home £14,835.

Wow, that's amazing. Yes.

Oh, my God. I'm taking home £14,800. I'm buzzing.

I'm approaching 40 birthday this year,

so I'm going to be splashing money on my big birthday party.

It makes me feel so happy.

I'm ecstatic. For me, the money is lovely,

you know, spend a bit of that, have a bit of fun with it,

but it's the experiences that I've gained and,

like, friendships in the camp, especially with Thom,

that is worth so much more.

I don't even know!

SHE LAUGHS That's more than I hoped for,

so I am on Cloud nine.

And then Martha, Sam,

Henry and Thom, you're taking home...

..£18,835.

I'm really pleased with that.

I did think I'd go home with a lot less.

It's a £1,000 a day of all the torture I've been through.

SHE LAUGHS It's a good payday.

It could have been the perfect storm,

but I still got a nice sum of money.

And, yeah, it really has been nuts. I can't deny it.

Nathaniel, including the ten grand you took today,

you're taking home £24,835.

HE EXHALES This is a surreal moment.

I'm walking away with just under 25 grand.

What a journey. And the opportunity for me to take that extra money at

the end, it was a no-brainer.

And taking home the most money out of all

the group is David...

..with £28,835,

which includes the ten grand you also took today.

I'm walking away with the most money,

just over 28 grand in my account. Hallelujah,

the blessing of the lord maketh rich and addeth no sorrow.

Weeping may endure for the night, but joy cometh in the morning.

Can I just say, that church roof's

going to be made of gold at the end of this, David.

I was not expecting David, our vicar,

to come away with that much money. But you know what?

Fair play to him, that's what the experiment's about.

I hope he has a nice time with it.

And can I just say a very special mention for Hugo?

Yes. Hey, nothing to do with the temptations,

for keeping the same clothes on for 18 days.

One set of clothes. All you need, mate.

So, this has been Langkawi, Tempting Fortune.

Get on that boat, everybody, and get yourselves back to the UK.

I am very proud of myself

and what I've achieved in this experiment.

What I'll be taking away from this experience,

obviously, enjoy every little thing in life.

Right at this particular moment,

I'm looking forward to indulge. I am absolutely starving,

I'm talking 18 days' starving.

I'm so excited to see my children.

I think they're going to be super proud of Mum.

I wish I had have taken more temptations now,

I would have had an absolute ball,

but I've made a lot of money, and now it's time to go home.

I did it. I feel super, super proud that I didn't give up.

It just goes to show that I'm capable of

so much more than I initially gave myself credit for.

Honestly, I'm absolutely bloody buzzing.

This experience was never about how much money I'd be taking home.

It was a case of me wanting

to challenge myself in how far I can go without my home comforts.

I feel like I've completed what I set out to do.

When I'm back home, I'll apply the resilience,

confidence and determination that I've found here,

into my everyday life. So, I really could not be happier.

One thing that I've learnt through being here was

to take off my vicar hat.

It gave me the opportunity to be myself,

because I'm David, first and foremost, a husband and a father.

I've learnt that temptations outside of this experiment,

if somebody needs, or wants, something, take it.

Life is too short.

You need to go out there and grab it with both hands.
