Hi everyone, welcome back to a new video. In this video I'm going to teach

you the greatest card trick that I used for many, many years in my live

performances. Grab yourself a deck of cards and let's start the show. The

magician has a deck of cards.

These cards are all normal.

You can spread the cards to show the audience all the cards are different.

You can shuffle a few times and then you're going to ask a spectator to

choose any card from the deck. It will be a free choice.

For example, this one right here. I will look away.

You just remember the card.

Perfect. And the magician will put the card back in the deck.

So he will shuffle a few times.

And he will lose the card somewhere in the deck.

Maybe a few times more, just to convince the audience that everything is really

fair and mixed up. Right, perfect.

Now the magician is going to take half of the deck, turn it over, so we have

face-up cards and we have face-down cards.

We're going to shuffle all these cards together, like so.

And that makes it a really mixed up deck. Face up into face down cards.

Let me show you.

Face up cards into face down cards. And we're going to push this all together in

one pile.

Looks something like this. And we're going to shuffle a little bit more if

you like.

And everything is really mixed up.

We have face up cards, face down cards. Everything is mixed up. Now it's

possible that you find two cards touching each other.

So for example, if I...

Find a spot where two decks are touching each other, here for example.

Now, what we're going to do, we're going to spread the cards.

We're going to use some magic.

We're going to use some magic on this side and on that side. And then we're

going to spread the cards.

And now every single card turns itself over into a face-down card, except

for only one card. The whole deck is back to normal, except for one card.

And it happens to be your two of hearts.

Alright my friends, welcome to the tutorial of this really beautiful card

trick. As I said, I've used this trick for many, many, many years.

Since I started doing professional magic, I was 18 years old. I was

learning a lot of card tricks.

This is still one of my favorites.

It's so good, so strong in fact.

And I'm sure you will love to learn it.

So, we use a normal deck of cards. We ask the spectator to choose any card

from the deck.

Let's pick one.

The Six of Spades.

Perfect. Of course, you don't know the card.

And I like to put the cards back in the middle this way.

You're going to shuffle some cards from the top.

Then you're going to ask to put the card on the pile.

They will do this for you. So there's the card.

Now you're going to put one card a little bit to the back sticking out

here. Sticking out here.

And then you're going to shuffle the rest on top.

All right.

So now you have a break here.

at this card right here, and that is on top of the selection.

Now what you're going to do, you're going to use your thumb here, press that

forward, and take the whole pile with the six of spades on top here, and put

that right there.

So now the card is right here. Let me show that again.

The card is on the table.

You're going to shuffle a few cards. You ask them to put it here on top.

They're going to do that.

Take one card.

Let it stick out a little bit so you have a break here.

Shuffle the rest, maybe also above here.

Very clumsy.

Then use your thumb, here's the break, use your thumb to get the whole pile

behind and throw it in front and then you have your card here.

Now you can continue with false shuffles, but that's a really, really

good and effective way to get that card on top.

Because you want the card on top, right? So now that you have it on top, we

continue the trick.

It's the moment that you're going to take half of the deck. I take the half

from the bottom.

Take half from the deck from the bottom.

And take that to the right.

So the left top pile goes to the left.

And the bottom right pile goes to the right.

Turn that pile over.

And then you're going to shovel them together.

Now what I'd like to do is I shovel this pile first. A few cards.

Let's say five cards.

Then together.

And then the last card, I have two single cards left.

I'm going to do this.

One here and one on top.

All right. So the situation is a few cards from the right pile face up. Then

all mixed up.

And then the last two cards here or three cards.

This one has to be from the left side face down on top of that one. You will

see in a moment why.

Now you're going to push it in.

Before you push everything together, you're going to show them that all the

cards are really mixed up. So they really see it's really mixed up and

you're going to do this movement.

You're going to press everything together.

Very important.

Put them all together.

Now I will show you what's going to happen.

I'm going to cover the pile here with my hand. I like to put my hand like this to

cover this whole area.

And then this hand is in front and I'm going to push this that way.

But it looks like for the spectator that this pile with face up cards will go in

between the face down cards.

But that's not what's going to happen. Watch what's going to happen from the

back. I cover it.

I just push the whole deck that way.

So nothing has changed.

Only the first card is now covering that pile right there. So I can do it again.

This is the situation. The cards are still separated.

only this card is going to move. I cover it with this hand, go here, and now it

looks like everything is pushed in the whole deck, but nothing has changed

because only that single top card here, I will do it this way so you can see it,

only that single top card has moved.

But for the spectator it looks like everything is now as one pile. That's

why you cover this whole area.

Now you're gonna take your fingers here and your fingers here and very fast

you're gonna

Spread the cards again.

You're going to take all the face up cards out of the deck.

So now all the cards are back to normal.

Face down cards, face up cards.

And now you can, if you want, you can put it here on top.

You can also, an advanced move is shuffle a little bit. So you're going to

put it here, take a pile from the bottom and then put it like this. All right,

it's up to you. If you want to keep it simple, just put it on top.

So now the situation is we have face down cards.

We have a face-up card and one single card here on top.

This is also the selected card.

What you're going to do now is you're going to show them that there's also a

point in the deck that two backs are touching each other. That's possible.

That's why you're going to go through the deck and you see all the face-down

cards. And there will be a moment, you're just going to pick where you see

a face-up card. That's the point where you have two cards touching each other.

Because... We have a pile with face down cards and then we start the pile with

face up cards.

So the point that they are touching each other, right here, you're going to pick

it up, put it in your other hand, you show them this is the point. For

example, we have a situation with two backs touching each other, that's

possible. From here, you put it in your other hand, you show the bottom and now

it goes here. What you've done, you turn the whole deck, this whole pile over.

and that brings you automatically in a situation that all the cards are face

down except for the top card which was here is now in the middle as

a face up card you're going to do their magic right here and right here you're

going to spread the cards you explain to them that all the cards are now face

down again back to a normal deck of cards except for one and that's of

course their selected card, the six of spades.
