a residential area in Beech Grove
last night, destroying a family home,
as well as a neighbor's tool shed.
No one was injured,
but authorities say an overturned portable heater
was responsible for the blaze,
serving as a reminder

to never leave heating devices running while unattended.
A gas station in Crown Hill was the site of an armed robbery
shortly after midnight.
Two gunmen assaulted the cashier
and made off with over $100.
There's another casualty from the elevated train
that jumped the tracks and crashed into the street
in Chicago yesterday,
bringing the death toll to 11.
And the king of rock 'n' roll is coming to Indianapolis.
Elvis Presley will perform live in concert
at Market Square Arena on June 26th.
Tickets go on sale next week.
Hancock County Circuit Court Judge George Davis has ruled
in favor of the defense today.
Judge Davis found
that the bribery indictment
against Indianapolis Police Lieutenant Reed Moistner
did not meet legal requirements.
Moistner's attorney, John Ruckelshaus,
states that the prosecutor
is playing a, quote, "Mickey Mouse game
in trying to force an indictment
on a beloved police officer,"
end quote.
Prosecutor James Kelly said today
that his office will amend the indictment.
