It's you!

What are you doing here?

$Shen Mo Chao... I never realized how cruel you could be.

You're abandoned your family to affect your terrible Lightning Strike.

My sister made a bad mistake, when she married you, you bastard!

1 would have died 20 years ago from a heart attack,

if I'd not stayed here for the Dragon's Breath Cure.

My heart was weak from over-exercise.

You... you bastard!

1am Shen Ping... what are your instructions?

You will be pleased and welcome.

Please... forgive me, Gentlemen.

You are welcome.

I'm sorry.

Ma, eat some soup, please.

My Son, how many years now,

you suffered much and always you've cared for me.

If only your Father had not got sick to exercise and abandoned us...

Things might have been very different.

Ma, don't hurt yourself.

Drink while it's hot.

My Son, I'm too ill.

1 know I'm not long for this life.

No, Ma! You will get better.

I'm too sick.

I'm past recovery.

Your Mother's bad.

The only remedy I know is the one described Dharmal,

but the medicine almanach of Dharmal is kepted in Shaolin monestry.

To borrow it, you must pass three trials and win each one of them.

My Son... what are you thinking?

Nothing... nothing, Ma.

1 have passed through two trials.

1 ask you, Master, let me try the third.

May we ask why you have come here?

It's my duty to pass these trials.

You must let me fry.

Tell us the reason why you came.

To tell the truth...

The reason I come here is to borrow the Dharmal almanach to cure my mother.

You are indeed a loyal son, but nobody has ever passed the third trial.

1 think you'd better be going.

Master!

Master, my mother's very sick.

Only Dharmals Book can cure her.

And what if you should die during the trial?

Where would your sick mother be then?

But I'll have to do this.

It's the only hope I have left.

If you insist, my heart feels heavy for you.

Thank you, Master.

Father's name be praised. I'm sorry, I'm sorry.

Thank you, Master, for your kindness.

$Shen has perfected the Lightning Strike.

It's deadly within a hundred feet.

Unbeatable!

And now he kills just for the fun of it... as if playing a game.

Hong Hee is reigning for forty years, he can't rule forever.

But none of the princes are fit to follow after him.

Except I know the fourth prince has desire.

1 heard he has sent some men to get the support of Shen.

If Shen agrees, we could be in for some hard times indeed.

The only course is to eliminate Shen immediately!

Do you think, he can be killed so easily?

1 don't, Master.

But what can we do?

We have no choice but to use our own Kung Fu experts.

Send each one out.

With his own party to talk to Shen Mo Shao and try to pursuade him.

But the're not allowed to be violent until the last minute.

We can't allow these skunk guys to delay us.

Come on! - Hold it!

There are guards all around the valley.

And so it must be more dangerous. So take extra care.

Right! One of us should better stay behind. Just in case.

Brother Ting, you stay behind this guard.

Brother, if we should all get killed, when we get inside the valley,

you must make sure you return to the ammet.

Alright, 1 will.

Di Ang reporting. What are your instructions?

Get up.

Di Ang, what is all the hurry?

1 have to report that the shaolin send fighters to the Valley of no Return.

Oh.

And what news do you have from your men?

I've sent four groups of men up there, but no one has come hack.

I'm afraid they all have been killed.

Di, you appreciate, what the Lightning Strike could mean to me, don't you?

Yes, I know. - Then what are your waiting for?

Yes. 1 will try my best, Prince.

Come with me!

You can't help, leave him.

We will all end in death.

Come on!

Be careful.

We'd better get out of here. - Come on!

That way.

Let's take him. - No, wait. We talk first.

We come from Wu Dang in name of Hong Hee.

We want you to listen to us, Shen Mo Chao.

You listen.

Don't you understand what No Return Valley means?

Hold it!

Run}

Brother!

Brother!

Brother!

Brother, brother!

Brother!

You were wounded deadly enough last time.

Why are you so eager to fry again?

Please, you must excuse me. I must try again.

Or else, my mother will soon die.

1 have no choice but to get that book.

Shall his name be praised.

Such full loyalty should be rewarded.

Greetings...

Congratulations, you've passed the three frials.

Thank you, Master, for your kindness.

It is your due. You are a better fighter than I am.

Brother, this gentleman has passed the three trials.

Acoordingly, he may borrow the medicine almanach.

Yes.

Now listen: Don't forget, it's a holy book.

Don't let others copy from it.

When your mother's better, you may return it to us.

Thank you, Master.

Why? I'm no enemy of yours.

My son, my son!

My son! My son!

My son!

Ma?

Ma, you soon get better after you drank this.

The last few years I drank so many different potions.

None of them were any good.

Ma, this is s special cure from Dharmals medical almanach.

And this description is able to cure all kinds of illness.

If you say, it will work, then 1 will drink it for you.

My son! Look, I can move now!

1 consider by myself.

My son! - Ma!

My Son!

Ha- Ha-

Ma!

Ma!

What's up?

My son, I'm dying.

After I'm gone, promise me, you will be good.

Don't be a Fighter.

Remember what your father's done.

Don't be like him. He loves fighting.

He want to be the Champion of Kung Fu and so he abandoned his own wife and son.

Twenty years ago, your uncle took such pity on a helpless state.

He went out to bring up your father back.

1 haven't heard a word form him since then.

This Qi Gong is part of a pair.

Your father has the other.

Ha- Ha- “a-

Twenty years ago, Shen was ill from over-exercise.

He came to Shaolin to borrow the Dharmal book.

However, during the third trial, he suffered an heart attack

and any left here, no one has heard from him in all that time.

However, he's still alive, hiding in No Return Valley.

1 think I know why he's still there.

He's breathing special vapors in the Valley to cure himself from his heart disease.

But he can't leave there.

That must explain why their bodies all turn so dark.

They must had breathe in to much of those vapors.

Master, Shen loves to kill people.

What will happen if he works for the Ching?

If Shen does support the Ching,

then I will call my men together and we will attack him!

From what I know of him, he's far too expert.

We'll have to reconsider who we send out to No Return Valley.

Master...

What is happening out there?

Trouble, Master, that man who borrowed the medicine book.

He bursted in here and started fighting!

He has hurt several monks.

Please, Gentlemen, wait here for me for just a moment.

As you please.

Thank you.

His name be praised. How dare you, come here, disturbing the peace?

1 have come here to seek revenge for a crime.

Now hold on, you've borrowed the medicine book two days ago.

But you've not returned it. And now you're fighting us?

Some medicine books take lifes instead of preserting it!

This medicine book is one of our most treasures.

How dare you, stomping on it ike that?

This treasured book. Why did it kill my mother?

Ring the Alarm!

Master, who do you want?

Zhao We.

Come on!

Hurry, hurry, men!

What's troubled?

Do you recognize it?

That is the Dharmal book.

Did you know that this is a false one?

It's forged?

Where is the original book?

1 know nothing about this!

Master, two days ago a masked man attacked me near here.

It's this man, I know he is!

There's no need to tell lies.

1 have not left this temple for very, many years now.

You carry a scratch by me on your left arm.

Hold it!

Mister, we have our own ways of punishment.

Zhao We, you stole the book and gave it to someone?

You also should die.

Please forgive me. Please forgive me this time.

You know the rules!

Attack his throat!

Let him be strangled to death!

How dare you?

Old Bastard, you stupid old fool.

Take him!

You see, I'm aware of it.

I'm worried.

Since the fourth prince has a spy here, they will have already

sent emiciries to No Return Valley.

We must kill Shen before they team up together,

Yes, I agree with you.

Master!

Master, since my Mother's dead and the fourth prince is guilty,

1 wanna go with your man to the Valley of No Return.

Thanks for offering, but this is our own affair.

Forget all about it.

You must have your own business to settle now that your Mother's dead.

Why not deal with that?

Let his name be praised.

Fourth Prince, the others say, Shen has heart disease.

Take this book and cure him. Put it in good use.

Why are you so happy, prince?

The old monk said that Dharmal almanach could cure Shens heart disease.

1 don't understand.

By having the Dharmal almanach, we can be assured of Shens support.

1 am Shen Ping. Greetings, Excellency.

Get up.

Yes.

$Shen Ping, you wanted to see me?

What do you want?

1 have to report, they found it out.

And the old monk had to kill himself.

God damn monks!

When I'm in power, I will destroy their temple!

So the old man died for a book. What a hell of waste that was!

This book killed him!

Wait!

Destroying the book will not bring him back and without the hook,

the old man died for nothing.

You must reconsider, prince.

He's right. He's gone forever.

The old monk is dead, but think of the future.

But...

If this book can get Shen for us, then the old monk has not died in vain.

You will be king.

Alright.

Ti Ang, 1 will put you in personal charge.

Thank you, Sir.

Ti Ang, what the...?

This firts part is a list of potions, the second how to use them.

1 will take the first part with me to Shen tomorrow.

If he agrees, the he can have the rest.

Ti Ang, you always had a good mind.

Fourth Prince, I also have to make a report.

The Shaolin Fighters have already arrived at No Return Valley.

1 will handle them by myself.

Thank you very much for helping us.

That was nothing.

What are you doing here?

1.am going with you to the Valley of No Return.

It's gonna be dangerous.

You better go back now.

I'm a single man.

1 have nothing to lose.

Brother, let him come with us if he wants to.

Let his Name be praised.

You're a brave young man.

You're welcome to come,

Thanks a lot.

Hey, old man, what is the right way to the Valley?

What's that? What did you say?

Which way to No Return Valley?

No Return Valley? Straight ahead and then around the corner.

Come on!

Wait here.

$Shen Mo Chao! Shen Mo Chao!

$Shen Mo Chao! Shen Mo Chao!

Mr. Shen, how come, that you're not slepping?

1 couldn't sleep, so I went for a walk.

We're nearly there now. Are you afraid?

Afraid? I'm scared of nothing.

Oh, by the way. Your unique Kung Fu style, tell me, where did you learn it?

To tell the truth: I learned from a book.

It was one of my fathers Kung Fu manuals I practised.

And what is your father's name?

Twenty years ago, when I was still a baby in arms,

my father suddenly abandoned my mother and me.

My mother hated him and never mentioned his name again.

Buddhas name be praised.

My apologize for suffer painful memories.

1am Ti Ang. I have a message for you.

Do you have the Dharmal Book?

Check it for yourself.

And where is the rest of it?

In the City.

If you agree to work for the fourth prince,

we will handle over the rest and pervade every need.

Smart thinking.

I'm sorry, it must be this way.

But you must admit, it's the best for us all.

You must forgive me, please.

If you wanna learn my Lighting Strike, it's not that easy.

If you refuse to help, then we'll forget it.

Let's go back now.

Don't you move!

Aren't you afraid that I'll cut off your head?

Even if you should kill me, that's not gonna help you get the rest of the book.

Alright.

I'll teach you the secret of the Lightning Strike, in exchange for the rest of the book.

Good. I'll send back a message right now

to the prince, to bring the rest of the men up here.

If 1 don't get the other half, you do know that you're as good as dead.

Of course I do.

And now show me your secret.

I never break any promise,

The first lesson. Are you ready?

Follow me.

But Shen, what about the poisonous vapors?

You'll be allright if you're stick close to me.

Where is No Return Valley?

Not far from here,

1 will kill Shen myself before he can make a move!

No, it's my odd to kill him.

Sure as it gets.

Come!

Old Man, are you alright?

Thank you, I'm alright now. Thank you.

I'm so old and so stupid.

May I ask you, old Man:

These snakes her, with the red bands, are they all poisonous?

These red handed snakes are the most poisonous in Tibet.

I've been antidote to their bites, otherwise I would already be dead by now.

From the way you talk, you don't sound like a local.

What are you doing here?

We are going to No Return Valley.

The Valley?

You better go no further.

1 have been here fo a long time.

I've seen lots of people go in there,

but I've never seen a single one come out.

We're not worried about that. Only how we get in there,

If you insist of going in there, I cast up you Gentleman.

First you go straight ahead, then take the first turn right.

Buddhas Name be praised. Thank you for your help.

Master, let's go. - Right.

You will doom the day that you didn't listen to me.

Brother! Brother!

Hold. We're better be careful, while we move those stones away.

When do you be reckon the Dharmal book will be here?

Don't worry about that.

Once the fourth prince receives my message, he'll send it right away.

But it will take at least a few days.

Pll give you two days from now.

If it isn't here by then, don't blame me for the consequences.

Do you understand?

The Lighting Strike, we can attack him now.

You are indeed very clever, prince.

$Shen Ping?

Yes?

You must be extra careful this time.

If Shen agrees to support me, alright.

But in case he plays hard to get, use this Kung Fu method.

But don't use it unless you have to.

1 prefer him alive.

Yes, Sir.

What can we do, Brother?

We can't stay here. Let's go!

Pd like to meet up with this old man.

Pd like to find out how good he really is.

Come on!

This way, come on.

That's strange, there's no one here.

The old man must know something and was not telling us.

That's why he's on the run.

Oh no, he has killed him!

What's up over there?

Something must have gone very wrong.

Let's go and see!

You bastard, come out!

Come out!

1 think, the laughter is coming from over there.

Right! Let's go there!

Your luck runs out.

You're not gonna leave.

$Shen, I thought you'd have some courage.

But you're only killing from behind.

So why I'm gonna kill you.

Brother

Wait, brother!

Pl help you.

His Lightning Strike is really unbeatable.

Leave me alone.

You must get away.

Go on, hurry!

Come on, you get away now, go!

Go back and tell them all about it.

He can't get two of us.

Is that gonna be that easy? If you wanna leave?

Why can't we find a way through this goddamn place?

Keep cool, it's just in front of us.

If Shen doesn't agree, what shall we do?

Don't you worry.

If he doesn't agree, we can use the fourth Prince's new secret weapon.

And we will murder him!

Hey, General, wait.

If Shen does find out we're running away, what can he do to us?

If the fourth prince fails to send the book here today, Shen won't keep us waiting.

There's no one here.

Go and get him,

If Shen can't use the Lightning Strike, even we fight him.

We can give our best too. Go, quick.

Please, you must forgive me.

Ti Ang, you must realize, I only kill those who treat me.

Forgive me. It won't happen again.

Good. I will let you die gracefully.

$Shen, you killed a royal official.

How dare you do that?

If you don't send me Dharmals book, 1 will kill your prince with pleasure.

1 hope, he is prepared to come here.

$Shen, if you are willing to support our side and fight for us,

we will send you the Dharmal book immediately.

Otherwise, I am forced to kill you.

Let's find out how good you are in Kung Fu, or wether it's all wind!

Not, not that!

You came here just in time.

You bastard!

No Return Valley is gonna be your final resting place!

Young man, you're the only one,

who've escaped from No Return Valley in twenty years.

For twenty years, you've used your Lightning Strike and killing people.

And now you don't have it now, let's see how good you are!

1 don't need that weapon.

1 don't need that Lighting Strike.

P'm gonna kill you with my bare hands!

Hey, brother!

Ti Ang, did you find out about the Lightning Strike?

Yes, Brother, 1 did.

1 got the book from him and was lucky to escape with my life.

Here it is.

We better go back to the Cardinal.

No, you go back first, I follow!

Give it back.

Since P've escaped the Lightning Strike, I have the book in my hands now.

Old man!

Old man!

Please help!

Old man!

Old man!

How can you been bitten by snakes?

Old man, please help me.

You're lucky to meet me here.

Thanks a lot, old man,

When I'm back in the city, Pll send you some money.

It is my duty to save human life.

You don't have to reward me for anything.

Thanks, old man.

You've saved my life today.

When I get back home, the fourth prince will reward you.

You cruel bastard!

1 was born to be cruel, you fool.

P've been waiting here three years to get hold of this book.

And now I finally struck lucky.

Cruel Lama learned the Secret of the Lightning Strike

and practiced for many years, until he mastered this lethal technique.

Later, he joined the fourth prince and used to be supper efficient killing

off enemies in the prince's way.

The crowned him as a new king, and the Lightning Strike became the most fairly weapon in all of China.
