(Bugyeong Regional Investigation Unit)

Tell us where the hideout is. Then we'll set you free.

What would you do if you were in my shoes?

Right now, there's only three hours left...

until the statute of limitations expires.

Hey, you punk. Do you have a death wish?

No, I'd rather stay alive.

You guys are pathetic.

No wonder you failed to get the guy who put your colleague in a coma.

- It's already been ten years. - You jerk!

Stop!

I swear...

I'm going to find that scumbag...

no matter what.

I guess you and that fool were partners.

What?

10 years ago, my boss hit a rookie detective...

with his car while he was trying to escape.

And you were his partner.

- Am I correct? - Shut your mouth!

I thought you wanted me to talk. What do you want me to do?

Should I talk or keep my mouth shut?

- You worthless punk! - Hey!

Come outside.

Get out of there.

Let me beat that punk up. I'll take full responsibility.

Do you want to end up in jail? We'll all lose our jobs.

Then what? Are we just going to give up?

Who says we're going to give up?

He's here, sir.

Is there anyone else?

If not, let's end the interrogation.

Okay?

You prick.

Who are you?

What's with the fancy entrance?

You look familiar.

What are you doing here?

This is illegal!

Call my lawyer!

I knew it.

I just need to wait two more hours.

I've been hiding for 10 years, and that's about to end.

You all did a great job.

- Congratulations, sir. - Congratulations, sir.

Sir! Sir! We have a situation!

The cops! The cops are here!

How did they find this place?

Go. Stop them.

- You heard him. - Yes, sir.

Let's go!

- Go. - Get them.

Stop right there.

Sir...

Hurry up and arrest him!

Choi Poong Won,

you're under arrest for obstruction of justice, manslaughter,

and conspiracy to commit murder.

I'm here on behalf of the detective you ordered the hit on.

Two hours. That's all I ask.

You waited 10 years, so two hours is nothing.

Name your price. Money, gold, a house in Gangnam?

You can have it all.

(Memorist: Ep 1, Claw Hammer)

A 20-year-old young man turned heads today...

that he has supernatural powers.

He claims...

that he can read memories by just touching a person.

Contrary to what was expected, the Justice Department...

began testing the young man's absurd claims.

They wrote down the same words and their brainwaves are in sync.

The man is now being tested by a task force...

that consists of the NIS and private research centers.

The results of these tests will finally be announced today.

He truly has the ability to scan people's memories.

It's possible to read someone's memory...

even over a thin item of clothing.

Skin-to-skin contact is better though.

We believe that he obtained this ability...

- during puberty. - Think of it being passed on.

We assume that he reads electromagnetic information...

traveling through our synapses.

It's like being at a library.

I sift through memories that are stacked in inverse order.

Then I open one up.

I guess we can call it a supernatural power...

- until science can prove otherwise. - This I promise you.

I won't let one single country use this ability for itself,

not even my own country.

(Assistant Inspector Dong Beck Joins the Police Force)

Dong Beck was appointed as an assistant inspector...

by the police today.

Many wondered about the career path he'd take,

but law enforcement seemed to be his calling.

I announce that in just two months,

Detective Dong Beck managed...

to perfectly solve 26 cold cases.

Even the Supreme Court Justice gave into Detective Dong Beck's powers.

- A revolution has begun. - Just by touching me,

would you be able to read all my memories?

No, I must focus in order to read your mind.

- Then a handshake would be safe. - Of course.

I doubt many ask to shake your hand though.

When you chose your career path three years ago,

many were pleasantly shocked by your decision.

Why was it the police?

Becoming a public servant meant giving up the financial support...

you were receiving from research foundations all over the world.

I already received more than I needed,

and I honestly didn't need it anymore.

Moreover,

I had a personal reason as to why I needed to join the police force.

A wide and vast rice paddy.

A white dress.

Ligature marks around all limbs.

Tuesday? Tuesday.

Her hand is positioned on her left chest.

The body was purposely positioned this way.

The murder weapon?

It wasn't a metal hatchet.

The same signature and MO.

This wasn't a random killing.

(MO: a method of operation that helps distinguishes serial murders)

The killer is putting victims on display...

to convey a message.

(Print)

I'm here at Seobu Police Department.

Choi Poong Won, leader of the Dinosaur Gang,

was arrested only hours before the statute of limitations expired.

Detective Dong Beck was said to be involved in the case...

which is why a commotion has been going on outside the gates.

The National Police Agency has repeatedly been saying that...

it can't verify the involvement of the telepathic investigator.

- They are keeping it under wraps. - They claim that the detective...

isn't involved in such cases.

Meanwhile, fans from all across the world...

are outside the gates hoping to see Detective Dong Beck.

Excuse me.

Coming through.

Excuse me.

Sorry, coming through.

I'm afraid we can't let you in at the moment.

But my team has been authorized.

That's odd.

- The team's with us. - I see.

Thank you.

What a hassle.

It's getting worse.

Foreigners consider this place as an attraction now.

Will you do the interview in our office?

Yes. An exclusive on Det. Dong's place of work...

will be the main article.

We have been keeping it top secret.

Tell me about it. It wasn't easy to get permission.

This way.

This is the Communications Team that handles all promotions.

These conscripted policemen...

sort out fan mail from civil affairs.

Are these a week's worth?

- A day's worth, ma'am! - What?

Are you sent this much every day?

This isn't as much as we normally get.

Let me escort you to our actual office then.

Do you work in the same office?

Of course. I'm his partner.

- Are you always by his side? - Of course.

He's Batman and I'm Robin.

How cool.

Right?

You get to see Det. Dong every day.

You're a fan, aren't you?

I'm interested in him on a professional level,

but he gives off a vibe that I like.

And what would that be?

You know, the cutting edge...

science fiction vibe.

This way, ma'am.

I thought Dong Beck was being interviewed.

Sorry?

We agreed to do it here.

He's been getting ready in the gym.

You should see how excited he is about this interview.

Get him over here then.

How odd.

He never bothers with these small interviews.

Please wait here.

I'll be right back.

Where on earth is Dong Beck?

Future son-in-law!

Mother!

Goodness.

So when will you meet my daughter?

She's really pretty, you know.

If she's as beautiful as you...

And she is.

Flattery comes easy to you, doesn't it?

Is it because you have high standards?

I'm fine as long as she doesn't have a record.

My gosh.

Why would she have a record?

- She's studying for a state exam. - Let's get going already.

Oh, right.

Take your time finishing that.

I'll settle on a date.

As if being the nation's hero will do him any good.

- What are you talking about? - He isn't manly enough.

How so? Does he have issues?

Who could ever handle him?

He sucks the memories out of you just by touching you.

It's good for couples to be honest.

Have you even once shook his hand?

Well...

Still, he seems to bump shoulders with his colleagues.

Only two in the entire police force do.

And they only do because...

someone has to stop Detective Dong when he makes a mess of things.

We all have skeletons in our closets.

Who would want to date a man that can see right through you?

My daughter's a sweetheart, so don't worry.

Gosh.

Don't ever mention setting her up with him again.

You'll only ruin your daughter's life.

Gosh.

(Dong Beck)

Beck!

You're on the news.

When am I not?

No, no. That's not it.

The person who filmed it is commendable.

Where was this filmed?

It was filmed in Bugyeong.

This video was submitted anonymously.

He was demoted instead of being promoted.

That was all for assaulting suspects.

Why is he a low-level officer after receiving...

so many special promotions?

People said it was because of the endless scandals...

- regarding assault. - What are you people doing?

We're trying our best.

- Shut it. - You're saying he canceled out...

the assault matters with his special promotions.

This is unconfirmed, so we have to be cautious.

Just so you know.

The assault victim is a suspect presently on the run.

Isn't that a mitigating factor?

We human rights activists are worried about something else.

It's the memory scan itself.

Secretly extracting memories to catch the perpetrators.

This is a serious violation of human rights.

How many times is this?

Pardon?

Your disciplinary hearing.

- It's the fourth... - Including undisclosed hearings.

Then it's the eighth.

He's a cop as a hobby, right?

No, sir. I believe I was meant to be a detective...

You believe that, but you beat up eight perps?

- One was for hurting the image... - You moron.

Didn't you know that the media was dying to eat you alive?

You may have been acting out like a brat because of your ability,

you're done for now. The end!

Who is it? This is a disciplinary hearing!

Have you eaten?

Yes, sir. I had a lunch combo.

How did it go?

We're thinking about a 6-month probation...

- Beck. - Officer Dong Beck.

Take 2 to 3 months off.

- This time, it was unreasonable. - Your duties...

were to extract information and disclose it to us, right?

- Yes, sir. - So why did you go and beat him up?

- We couldn't arrest him if... - You'll be indicted.

Excuse me? Indicted?

You know.

If you're fined 3,000 dollars or more, you lose your badge.

I really have to be a detective.

We have to make sure he's acquitted.

We're family.

Yes, of course.

You're dismissed.

(Warm and trustworthy National Police Agency)

How did it go?

- So? - Do you have a gun?

No, why?

Shoot me.

What are you talking about?

Put me out of my misery.

Are they firing you?

No way.

What did they say?

Probation for two months.

That's not so bad.

See? They can't fire you.

They can't handle the consequences if they do.

- Are you crying? - No, I'm not.

- Yes, you are. - I'm allergic to my new contacts.

You don't wear contacts.

Why is the mighty Telepathic Investigator crying?

This isn't the first time you were disciplined.

They're going to indict me!

They're indicting you?

Then all of Korea will suffer.

It must be broken.

- Stairs? - Okay.

(Jan 2020 College Girl Murders)

They were both in their 20s.

Their bodies were found one week apart, 100km from each other.

- They were both sexually assaulted. - Proof it's a serial murder?

They both went missing on a Tuesday and were found one week later.

- The patterns are the same... - It could be a coincidence.

They both have dents in their skulls.

What about it?

It appears they were bound...

and struck with a weapon having a 4-inch diameter...

multiple times.

In other words, he's a total psycho.

The government is investigating separately.

We must get it transferred to us and form a team to investigate.

You want to handle it.

Of course.

Mobilize the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency.

Thank you.

You must do this quietly.

- Yes, sir. No media... - No.

Make sure Telepathy doesn't find out.

Do you mean Detective Dong Baek?

Can anyone else use telepathy?

Yes, sir.

How old were you when you became a senior superintendent?

I was 30. Last year.

That's right. You were the youngest. Broke the record by two years.

From senior superintendents and up are top managers.

Look at the senior superintendents who are police chiefs.

They oversee 400 to 500 officers.

Getting worked up to catch a violent criminal...

is what you do when you're on the bottom.

(Jung Soo Yun, Han Da Rim Similarities in binding)

Hi, Mom.

What? I'm almost home.

Don't worry. No one will abduct me.

Don't come out. It's cold.

Okay.

Help me.

Help me.

Let go!

(Scanning people's memories is a violation of one's privacy.)

(Do Not Invade Privacy, Dismiss Detective Dong Beck!)

(You are my star!)

(My memories belong to you!)

Stay away from our privacy!

- Dong Beck! - Dismiss him!

(Seobu Police Station)

He really might get fired this time.

He's all over the news.

If this goes to the chief justice, he won't be easy on him.

He'll either be put on probation or get dismissed.

My gosh, you startled me.

What was that for?

You call this a team?

Hey! What do you know? You're just a rookie.

Do you really not know...

how much Beck loves his job?

Hey, we never asked him to beat him up.

Gosh, your temper is getting similar to his.

Be quiet.

Look at him. He's being a jerk just like Dong Beck.

Where is he?

(Do not leave this place, Waiting area)

Gosh, why are you crying? You'll get tons of job offers.

You won't die just because you don't get to be a cop.

Don't cry. It's embarrassing.

A man should only cry when he's about to die.

What's wrong with you? You sound like an old man.

You're right.

Go ahead and cry all you want.

I already talked to a few detectives...

who are great when it comes to criminal suits.

How can anyone not cry after reading this?

(To Mr. Police Officer)

Is this a fan letter?

That detective who's in a coma after he got hit by a car.

He's been unconscious for 10 years.

His 10-year-old daughter sent me a letter.

That poor girl's dad has been unconscious all her life.

She whispered into her dad's ear...

and told him the cops finally found the bad guys.

And apparently, he suddenly had a smile on his face.

This is crazy.

I'm actually glad that I'm waiting to be assigned.

I always sent back a signature.

But I should reply to all the letters now.

Gosh, go ahead and have fun.

Where is Detective Dong?

Detective, my daughter went missing.

- Please help my daughter. - What's the matter?

Her daughter disappeared near their house.

She got off the bus.

And it takes less than ten minutes from the bus stop.

But she never came home.

Did she file a report?

Yes, the precinct received the report.

But it hasn't been 24 hours yet.

But we can work on it right away if we know she was kidnapped.

Nothing's been checked yet.

Ma'am, kids these days...

sometimes run away from home.

- Why don't you wait a little... - I'm sure...

something happened to her.

Detective, please find my daughter for me.

What am I supposed to do?

My gosh.

I...

I'm...

I'm being disciplined, so I have no right to investigate.

And if I do anything to cross my superiors again,

I'll get dismissed right away.

No, please. Can you please help me?

Please! Please!

- Please. My gosh. - I'm sorry.

Oh, my gosh.

Call the precinct and ask them for cooperation.

Let's work on it as soon as possible.

Let me help you get up.

Calm down. Let's go.

I can't live without her.

If anything happens to my daughter,

I won't be able to live.

He always acted like a hero, but look at him now.

(Seobu Police Station)

Where are you going?

How did you know it was me?

What kind of conscript carries a bag like that...

and wears brand name shoes?

Don't tell anyone.

- Get in. - You don't know where I'm going.

I'll ask the questions. You can just follow along.

Then you won't be violating any rules.

You're going to tell the old man again, aren't you?

Don't you trust your partner?

- Your job is to tell on me. - Right.

You're going to check her neighborhood first, right?

- The address is... - 45, Onha-ri.

I guess you scanned the cleaning lady's memory.

If you tell on me again, you and I are over.

You're so immature.

[VIU Ver] tvN E01 'Memorist' "Claw Hammer" -♥ Ruo Xi ♥-

Wait.

That's obviously a detective.

The precinct is on the case already?

No, he's from a regional investigation unit.

From Seoul?

- Then you must know him. - Implants.

"Implants"?

- Stay here. - Where are you going?

I should say hello. He's like a comrade.

- Have you gone mad? - Don't get out of the car.

Beck. Beck!

Detective Lim.

It's cold outside. You ladies can go inside now.

- We'll go now. - Okay.

- Good luck. - Good luck.

It's nice to meet you again, Beck.

- You look great. - Yes, I look better.

Thanks to you, I got nice implants.

It's an honor, sir.

- My name is Kwon Woon Jang. - An honor, my foot.

Nice to meet you.

But I have to say, you have a lousy partner.

Hey, stop!

Don't let him touch you.

What are you trying to do?

Did he stop horse betting?

- Pardon? - He probably didn't.

He's a gambling addict.

You little jerk.

He failed to catch the culprit once because he left during a stakeout.

It turns out, he left to bet on a horse race.

Thanks to him, an innocent civilian got hurt.

Do you have a problem?

You know his uncle is a superintendent general, right?

Since when did the regional investigation unit...

hire people based on connections?

You hit me first. You'd better not file a suit.

Stay out of this.

Hey, bring it on. No lawsuits.

You against me. Okay?

Okay.

You've gotten better.

Bring it on.

Stop it!

Will you please stop?

I need to go.

Hey, are you running away?

Did you see that? Did you see him run away?

- Okay, I get it. - Let's go!

Hurry up! Drive!

What was that for, Beck?

Why did you start a fight? He totally beat you.

We need to go to Sangrim University Hospital.

(Sangrim...)

To get a doctor's note?

Hurry!

Aren't we going to investigate the neighborhood?

- I'm done with the investigation. - How...

Both victims disappeared on Tuesday.

I don't think she just disappeared.

They were both found dead in a week.

We're going to set up a special investigation unit.

The regional investigation unit came to investigate a serial murder case.

What?

You little...

The third victim is in a coma, but she's still alive.

They found the third victim this morning.

She was still breathing.

Is that why we're going to Sangrim University Hospital?

Okay, I got it.

No...

I didn't see your face.

I won't report you, so please let me go.

To those hearing these words of truth,

I wish endless blessing.

- I won't report you to the police. - So now,

let's begin the first chapter...

that'll lead to you opening the doors to the truth.

Those who are beginning these studies...

- Please... - must have...

- I won't tell anyone. - suffered while alive.

Even at this moment,

you may be suffering from the unexpected...

in despair, disbelief, and sorrow.

That leads to one question.

Why do people even suffer in life?

How about a life without any pain where you can die...

only knowing happiness?

(Sangrim University Hospital)

There's no way to get past them.

We should try another day.

You know, your recklessness will get you fired one day.

Yoon Ye Rim.

25.

I felt it while reading her memories.

The love she has for her daughter...

and how frightened she is of losing her.

I can't just sit back and wait.

But there's no way to get past all of them.

Then let's find a way.

Find what?

Who said you could leave your post?

You, get over here.

You're the troublemaker, so why are you on his case?

Hold on. Did you put him up to this?

Do you finally realize that I know you like the back of my hand?

Why didn't you tell me sooner?

It would've been nice to be on the same page from the get-go.

- Right? - Says who? Get over here.

Gosh, that really hurts.

Good job, everyone.

- Have there been any issues? - Old man!

Go ahead.

Sir.

Things are busy, aren't they?

- Have you been well? - Of course.

Darn it.

You haven't met him, have you?

He joined the unit after you were fired.

This is Chief Byun Young Soo.

Why does he keep saying that? I wasn't fired. I quit.

We'll take care of any issues that surface.

The disappearance of Yoon Ye Rim...

has nothing to do with the serial murders.

- If you let me check... - Shut it.

You see, she's a family member of one of our own.

There may not be any connections,

but if Dong Beck can help catch the serial killer...

I'm the lead investigator on this case.

Yes, of course.

- It's why I'm asking for a favor. - I will be held responsible...

since I'll be giving you permission.

Gosh, thank you.

This isn't the headquarters.

- Why won't you let us in? - We need confirmation.

- What do you mean... - Excuse me!

Are you in charge of this case?

- Are you only a consultant? - Are you on the case?

Over here!

Stop pushing.

Why are you calling here to ask?

We don't know.

Bring up the screen.

Focus, people! It's been three hours since we identified the victim,

(Identity Register Card)

Kim Seo Kyung. A student of the arts.

- Former kid actress... - Next.

Her cell phone has been turned off for two weeks.

Because she lives alone,

- no one reported her missing. - Her whereabouts?

I already have the list.

She last took the bus to church two weeks ago on a Tuesday.

- Do we have footage from the bus? - A field team was dispatched.

Can't you see anything?

He can't get a clear reading when subjects are unconscious.

She's also in a coma.

I'll try again.

They've been shattered.

They've in pieces.

They're entangled.

- There's another victim! - What?

Let go!

Let go of me!

No!

Beck? Beck!

Dong Beck!

Here's the camera footage from inside the bus.

There aren't any cameras in this secluded neighbors though.

Stop. Take me back to the bus stop.

Sync it with the footage from inside the bus.

Zoom in on the cell phone.

It's different.

It's a different model.

It's from the same company, but the camera on the back is different.

There are two cell phones.

Scan for that second cell phone.

I'll compile a list of the phones that were on the bus.

Mom.

Mom...

Mom.

Mom...

Beck.

Are you all right?

Another victim was taken.

- Who? - Where?

The regional investigation unit must know.

They all headed out.

- What? - It's a serial case, right?

- We'll give an official briefing. - What do you mean?

Chief Byun!

Chief. 2 dead, 1 in critical condition, correct?

How long did you plan to hide it?

- Are there more victims? - Quiet!

We're issuing a news embargo until further notice.

You can't do that without the media's consent...

There is a high probability that another victim was taken.

If this goes out in the news, that victim will die.

That's how violent criminals react.

- But you need to tell us... - We'll brief you...

in the auditorium. That is all.

Please step aside!

We located the cell phone.

The victim's second cell phone...

was turned off when she went missing and came back on after one week.

It's moving,

- but no call is being made. - Hey.

There is a 90-plus probability it's the perp.

Everyone within a 10km-radius of Onha-ri 6 Street,

the current location of the phone, are requested to head over.

Surround the suspect and stand by until the team on point arrives.

That is all.

Chief, Detective Dong Beck has something to report.

Make sure Telepathy doesn't find out.

Chief.

If it's about the investigation, please share it with me.

(Detective Dong Beck)

- Speak. - There's another kidnapping victim.

- A girl. - Not Yoon Ye Rim?

She was in the basement. I saw two more things.

First, a red pig.

- A red pig? - And the other...

was a hammer. One that you can hold with one hand.

- A hammer? - The perp was holding it.

Is that all?

If you combine the two, you'll be able to locate...

- We've located him already. - Pardon?

- Where? - Thanks for the info.

Where are you going? They panicked because you fainted.

They're bringing in doctors to examine you.

- Metro. - They won't include you anyway.

What clues did you find on Ye Rim?

I think it's the same guy.

- What? - Did you see something?

It's my gut feeling.

Was telepathy not enough? Are you a shaman too now?

That's the perp. Get him!

Did we lose him?

Are you going to scan everyone?

No, don't do it.

You'll really end up in jail.

Hey. Beck.

Beck.

Darn it.

Beck!

Beck!

Taxi!

That taxi!

What happened?

Darn it.

Hey, you!

You're under arrest for kidnapping Kim Seo Kyung.

You have the right to an attorney.

You have the right to defend yourself.

You have the right not to testify against yourself.

But you know that's useless.

Let go!

Stay still.

Is that him?

Why you...

You can't beat him up.

- No, it isn't him. - What?

Didn't you chase him after reading his memory?

I saw Kim Seo Kyung being assaulted, but it was from a while ago.

What?

He stalked her after being dumped and even hit her six months ago.

- Then? - He was released yesterday...

- from a detention center. - Why did you run?

- You're dogs. - Shut it.

You're nothing but dogs.

Dogs that only protect the rich and powerful.

Dogs!

Another moron?

Do you know how kind Seo Kyung was?

Is that why you beat her up?

Identity check, please.

- 930712... - It's your fault...

that happened to Seo Kyung!

She was taken by those demons...

because of parasites like you people.

Like that disgusting hammer!

Maybe I need an exorcism.

Why am I drawing in all the morons?

What did you just say?

Beck. Don't. Calm down.

What was that last thing you said?

You have your pride, is that it?

You're just a dog to the powerful.

What did you mean by "hammer"?

Why did...

the creator who created this beautiful universe...

- also create pain and hardship, - You can't fail the test.

at the same time, making people suffer?

- Because the creator is heartless? - Over here.

- Here. - Or because he is incompetent?

It is probably because everything about us...

Who are you?

- Where are we? - If you lose the fight,

you'll die.

Please...

That's how the girl who was here first...

Before demanding an answer...

What should I do?

90 is passing,

so you have to pass.

Who is he?

Let me get to the point.

When all the human beings...

that had all the power left...

(Pass the doctrine test for eternal life. Fail and face eternal torment)

You may think...

these sound similar to the rules of established religions,

but they are completely different.

Christianity says...

people were deceived by the snake and ate the forbidden fruit.

This is a common foundation...

of most established religions.

- On the ground! - Don't move!

Fix the connection.

SWAT Team, what do you see?

- SWAT Team, report to me. - Let's see the drone.

Detective Lim, report to me.

We're on our way in.

Gosh.

What's this?

They're high school kids.

They found the cell phone on the street.

Chief, someone broke the embargo.

What?

We can't publish an article because of the embargo.

Two online news companies already published the news!

We're in the press corps. The victims' lives are at risk.

You actually believe that?

The cops don't even know who got kidnapped.

What if it's true though?

Now that the news is out, there's no turning back.

The embargo is useless now.

But still, we need to...

They had ligature marks on their wrists and ankles.

- And their faces were... - How horrible.

severely damaged due to physical abuse.

And they were all abandoned in areas...

that had nothing to do with the victims.

Are you the telepathic cop?

I had a bad day today.

My goodness.

It's an honor to meet someone so famous.

(Hammer Management, CEO Oh Yeon Tak)

"Hammer Management"?

Do you know me?

Of course.

I haven't scouted anyone in years.

You were forced to retire, and now you're a pimp.

You fool wannabe celebrities and make them give sexual favors.

Just like what you did with Seo Kyung.

What are you talking about?

You know Seo Kyung's ex-boyfriend, right?

- Who? - The stalker...

who later on found out that the agency CEO is a dirtbag.

Why do you keep using cuss words?

But there's something he doesn't know.

If he knew this, I bet he would've killed you.

What's that?

Rape and blackmail.

A scumbag with a hammer tattoo.

That's an interesting story, but it has no context.

Let's not complicate things.

I'm looking for a murderer, and I want to scan your memory.

We dated each other. Seo Kyung took off her clothes first.

Otherwise, why would she still be working with me?

Did you also kill a girl...

20 years ago? How would I know?

I can't even remember the girl I hit yesterday.

I heard you're a little nuts.

Whenever I see a jerk like you, I go crazy and become very violent.

I heard you'll end up in jail if you hit someone one more time.

Are you sure you want to hit me?

Everyone, look.

Here's the telepathic investigator.

Hey, look.

He's the telepathic investigator.

Gather around.

- My gosh, it's him! - He's the telepathic investigator.

- My goodness! - The telepathic investigator.

He's so good-looking!

- My gosh. - Look at him!

Do you think he didn't know that humans would betray him?

This is where you can find the logical contradiction.

The skies are either incompetent...

or indifferent.

Since the beginning of history, almost all religions...

made a crucial mistake...

of interpreting prophecies too literally.

And as a result...

What if...

I never killed anyone?

Will you apologize?

I won't charge you for urinating on the street.

Get rid of it.

(We'd like to thank Ha Do Kwon, Park Jin Woo, and Kim Ki Doo...)

(for their special appearance.)

(Memorist)

He kills people every Tuesday.

That's tomorrow.

In four hours, it's going to be Tuesday.

- Stop! - I want everyone...

searching Onha-ri.

You're going to search 80 places including the chief justice's villa?

I'll take responsibility.

Do you think your job is the only thing that's on the line?

Where are you?

I need to go somewhere first.

Your target is someone else.

He was known as the 13th customer.

I'll reveal who the 13th customer is.

Okay, deal.
