Cannot go in

What is it about?

Sir, my uncle is sick

The rain is so heavy, we can't go on anymore

Please allow us to take shelter here

Okay

Thank you...

Just at the corridor, don't dirty the place

Yes

Sit here

Who are you?

Why did you just rush in?

Can't you see it is raining heavily

Who'd have expected this?

It won't trouble you if we are taking shelter here

Go away, don't anger me

You...

Uncle

Are you unwell again?

No, I'm not, young master

Uncle, don't call me young master

others will be suspicious if they heard it

Look at that gangster leader

We...

What is happening?

Why can't you get your skills right?

Pay attention to him, perhaps you'll get it right

I don't understand

Your kung fu manual is missing two pages

That's why you keep complaining you can't understand

The two missing pages

are with this person by the name of Yan Chi

Does this mean that this person

has something to do with my father's death?

Yes, very much

Your father, Hero Hu Yidao

was betrayed by him

18 years ago, this Yan Chi

was a village doctor

When your mother's pregnancy was almost due

Master Hu Yidao asked him to help your mother

deliver you

Then how did he manage to get the two pages?

It's a long story. When after mastering your skills

you're able to avenge your father's death

I'll tell you in detail

All you need to know now is that, this person

is highly involved in that event

You must remember his face well

Seems Yan Chi harbours evil intention to the people

Those at the entrance that were frightened by him

...are all gone

I'll go in and have a look. If I see him

I'll warn the others

Young master,

you have too many archenemies

You must be careful, just leave him alone

Since I have spotted him, I can'tjust do nothing

I'll be careful

Hu Yidao

Miao Renfeng, YuTang

Hu Yidao's ZhongKan, Miao Renfeng's ChiMen

We'll stop here today

Do you remember your father's enmity?

Mother wants me to reiterate daily,

how can I forget?

because Miao Renfeng calls himself invincible

your father feels he was too arrogant

He went to challenge Miao Renfeng, but he wasn't home

Miao's brothers fought with father, but were killed

And that incurred all the hatred

Hu Yidao, on behalf of Miao Renfeng

killed my father

They are my irreconcilable enemies.

How's that two thieves' skills?

With Hu Yidao's and Miao Renfeng's skills

they have very rare rivals

How are you going to avenge?

I'm still young, as long as I practise hard

my skills will improve daily

Those two thieves are getting old

I'll kill them someday

Someone's outside, you go to have a look

It's you

Young master, that group of people is suspicious

Looks like we're accidentally in our enemy's house

I think we better leave

The rain is very heavy

Furthermore you are sick, we can't leave

Luckily they don't recognise us

We'll decide after the rain stops

This young and the old fellow;

they looked like beggars, and the old man is sick

I don't think they are suspicious

That group in the hall

Wait

This group of people are up to no good

We'll inform everybody to prepare

Okay

Clothes are dried out

We've rested well, let's do it

Boss, look at these two

why not we rob them

Let's wait here until the rain stops, dear

This lady is so beautiful

Master, you are so lucky

Uncle,

this group of people will be damn unlucky

Uncle, do you recognise the person who just came in?

His name is Tian Guinong

I can recognise him even if he turned into ash

You must look carefully, more carefully than Yan Chi

He is...

My face was scared by his sword

my arm was also chopped down by him

Please excuse us, my wife needs to rest

She does not like to be disturbed

Let her rest

Look at him, he thinks that this is his home

How dare you?

Master Tian, it's you

You recognise me?

18 years ago in Cangzhou county

I served you before

Yes, you are that village doctor

You are now the stronghold master and skillful as well

It was you who raised me

Looks like you are going to rob this family

This family is neither my relative nor kin

It is none of my business

But your followers were impolite to my wife

I cannot forgive them

Master Tian, please forgive them

I will punish them myself

I can't let them off so easily

Well, for your sake that you still remember me

Ask them to cut off one of

their arm each

Uncle, who is this person?

It seems everybody is afraid of him

He is the invincible

Golden Face Buddha Miao Renfeng

Even that Tian Guinong is afraid of him

Do you notice the woman next to him?

That was originally Miao Renfeng's wife

He had an affair with her, how can he not be scared?

Mother... Lan

Mother, Lan is looking for you

You go home with your father

Mother...

Lan wants mother to hug

I want mother...

I want mother...

Your daughter wants a hug, why are you ignoring her?

Where is your conscience?

What nonsense are you talking about?

You have no conscience

The Heaves ought to punish you

Sister Lan, ignore this little beggar

I... I indeed have no conscience

Sister Lan

Sister Lan

Uncle

Do you know how lucky you're to be alive just now?

I was planning to wait for you to master your skill

and when you are capable to avenge

then I'll tell you your story

Now, looking at you growing up day-by-day,

your skill is improving gradually,

not knowing the severity of the matter,

may create a mess out of it

My health is getting poor

I'd better tell you now

what had happened

The matter occurred 18 years ago

at that time I was a waiter

in an inn in a small town in Cangzhou

That day while I was cooking

I saw your father Hu Yidao

and your mother putting up at the inn

Your mother was about to deliver

Master Hu asked the storekeeper to look for a doctor

The doctor turned out to be Yan Chi

He wanted Master Hu to ask me to boil some water

but I was thinking of my family's trouble

My father couldn't return the money he loaned

My father was instead forced to sell my sister to him

as his concubine

When Hu found out, he helped to repay the loan

Congratulations sir, it's a baby boy

Congratulations...

Thank you...

Storekeeper, please prepare some food and wine

How many people are in the shop now?

No matter they are customers or your staff

I'm inviting everyone

Thank you...

That night Master Hu gave a banquet for your birth

My whole family came to thank Master Hu

There's no need to mention my heartfelt gratitude

At that time

Tian Guinong and Miao Renfeng

arrived at the inn

"Invincible in the martial world"

Master Miao saw your father worry about you

He left without a fight

Your father and mother naturally understood

When I was tidying up

I heard Master Hu and your mother discussing about

writing to Master Miao to clarify the misunderstanding

What did you say to him?

I told him that the ancestors of Miao, Tian and Hu

family tied the feud due to the female and male

two treasured blades

His and Tian Guinong's father

went to the outskirts to look for me

because the male blade is with the Hu family

But we couldn't manage to meet

Rumours had it that they were both killed by me

His father and Tian Guinong's father

didn't know whether the dispute was

on the ownership of the male blade

or a feud for the female blade

They killed each other

After I sent you home

I'll bring him and Tian Guinong to personally

bring their father's corpse back

and their cause of death will be known

I also don't know the whereabouts of female blade

I'm not sure if the Gold Face Buddha will believe it

Master Hu

Please go ask doctor Yan

to come to my room

Yes

Master Hu

Doctor Yan, someone will deliver a letter tomorrow

Please go with him to

deliver this letter to Gold Face Buddha, Master Miao

He is the yellow face man who came for a drink

I will reward you well

Yes

When Master Miao left without a word, I knew

he will send a letter of challenge to me

I have already written my reply last night

the letter is with this doctor Yan

Please take him to meet Master Miao

You come with me

Come with me

Tian, he is here to deliver a letter to Miao Renfeng

I'm Tian, you may deliver the letter to me

you don't have to make another trip

Thank you, master

Go have a day's rest

Come back in the evening and tell Hu Yidao

the letter has been delivered to Master Miao

Yes...

Tell Hu Yidao, there is no need to fix another date

We'll be there on time tomorrow

Ask him to prepare 3 coffins

two big and one small

so as not to waste my time

Yes, I will deliver the message

and tell him that it's from Master Miao

You are quite intelligent

You'll be rewarded once the matter is over. Go

Thank you, Mr. Tian

You are not giving this letter to Miao Renfeng?

Certainly not, I'm sure when Hu Yidao gets the message

he will not dare

to raise this matter about the letter to Miao Renfeng

Speaking to you frankly

I arrived when my father was dying

The female blade is also with me now

but it is not the time to reveal it

As for the rumour that Hu Yidao killed our fathers

it was me that spread it

Miao & Tian both are from honourable family

When Miao Renfeng

boasted that he is invincible

and despises our family, the Sky Dragon Clan

this time just let him and Hu Yidao...

...perish together

That evening, I was not able to sleep

I knew Master Hu also couldn't sleep

Tian Guinong bribed Yan Chi to cause trouble

Tomorrow's deadly fight is unavoidable

Master Hu handed your family's kung fu manual

to your mother for safe keeping, forjust in case

"Hu's Knife and Fist skill manual"

The next day Master Miao and Tian Guinong came

Go back to the room

Let me have a look at how the Gold Face Buddha is like

Master Miao, please have a drink

Sure

RenFeng, careful. The food might be poisoned

I've long heard that Hu Yidao is a man of honour

he will not plot against me

My dear, you are an unparalleled hero

Except this Master Miao

there's no one else able to rival you

Master Miao, you are so straightforward

a real gentleman

If my husband dies at your hands, it'll not be unjust

Come, cheers

Thank you

RenFeng, the saying goes women are evil minded

Master Miao, if you have any unfinished matter

let me know now

Otherwise, in case you are killed by my husband

your friends may not complete your matter for you

Shandong Wuding County's Shang JianMing

heard that my nickname is 'lnvincible'

He can't accept, and seeks to challenge me

By chance I'm not home

He attacked my brothers

and killed them with darts

You did not seek revenge?

Avenging father is important. I'll seek Hu Yidao first

Good, just leave this matter to us

Hu Yidao, let's begin

Master Miao, my husband may be skillful

but may not necessary defeat you

I have forgotten, Hu Yidao

do you have any unfinished business?

If you killed me

this child surely will seek revenge in future

You look after him well

Rest assured. If you lose

I will take care of this child like my own

Good friend, please

Let's begin

No formalities, Master Miao. Please attack

Everybody please move out of the inn

Good, I'll attack

I'm using a treasured blade, be careful

Take this

It's not because my blade is sharp

but your move is extremely swift and fierce

This is the only way to deflect it

You'd better change the sword

Very well, my spatial hand can't pit against you

Someone lend me a blade, this blade is too sharp

We can't show our real skill

It's too light

Miao Renfeng, you refuse to take advantage of me

It really shows that you are chivalrous

No offence, I have something to clarify with you

Please speak

I know your martial art skill is outstanding

I may not win over you

I have been publicizing that...

I am invincible

It is not that I am

extremely arrogant or ignorant

I already knew of your intention

You were eager for a challenge. But...

not knowing my whereabouts, made such publicity

so as to lead me to you

Now that I'm here, let's begin

Guinong, if you step in again,

I'll have to ask you to go back

Let's start again

Brother Hu, you are highly skilled, I admire you

Shall we continue through the night

or fight again tomorrow?

Please let me live one more day

Dare not

Once Master Miao left

Master Hu also left on a horse

He only came back early next morning

He left with a white horse

but came back with another horse

Master Hu did not sleep then

and waited until Master Miao returned.

Brother Hu, you looked tired

I'm afraid you'll lose tomorrow

Not necessarily. Last night I have not slept

I'll sleep well tonight and regain strength

You did not sleep last night?

Brother Miao, I have a gift for you

"Eight Diagrams school, Shang"

This is Shang JianMing?

That's right, Eight Diagrams blade Shang JianMing

Last night you rushed to Shandong Wuding County

I caused 5 horses to die of exhaustion

so as not to miss your appointment

What sword skill did you use to kill him?

This person's Eight Diagrams knife skill is fierce

I caught 7 of his pearl darts

then I used the reverse sword style

to defeat his Eight Diagrams blade's

number 29th move 'Flipping over the hill'

Soaring to the Heavens' palm reverse sword?

This is our Miao family's sword skill

Precisely

I learned this skill secretly from you yesterday

I did not use blade, I used a sword to kill him

JianMing, please ask someone to bring me a sword

It's an honour to meet you, Hu Yidao

Why do you need a sword for?

You have killed members of the Miao family

If I kill you with a blade

would mean your sword skill is superior to Miao's

and Hu's blade skill

So I must use Miao's sword skill to kill you

Good, you avenge the Miao family

using the Miao's family sword skill, I'm grateful

Your Miao's family sword skill is unique

It is easy to kill him with this sword play

I am just doing a favour

Brother Hu, if something happens to you

don't worry that this child will be bullied

Thank you very much, brother Miao

That evening, not long after Master Hu slept

Tian Guinong's follower came disturbing

trying not to let Master Hu sleep

So that he won't defeat Master Miao the next day

But your mother used a band

to snatch their weapons

That scared them away

Shi, come here

Coming

Look for some rope

and hang these weapons under the eaves

Yes

Shameless, what sort of man are you!

Go away

Brother Hu, this group of useless fellows

disturbed your sleep last night

We'll call it a truce today

You have a good sleep, we'll compete tomorrow

It was my wife that drove them away

I was sound asleep and not aware of it

Thank you Madame, for showing mercy

and for not killing these fellows

Brother Hu, shall we change to another location today?

Yes, we will pit against our light skill

use it together with our weapons. Is it okay?

I will comply, after you

Today, none of us came out victorious

we'll change the competing criteria again tomorrow

Brother Hu, I'll not be going back today

Let's drink to heart's content and discuss martial art

Very well, I have studied your skill

yet, I still don't fully understand

Tonight I will consult you

You all go back, I am staying here tonight

RenFeng, be careful of his sinister plot

I'll do what I like, what can you do with me?

I'm only reminding you

Don't forget your father's vengeance

Let's go

Leave the sword behind

Storekeeper

Master Hu

Please prepare some food and wine for us

And ready a good guest room for him too

Yes...

Talking with you is better than studying for 10 years

The conciseness of Miao's family sword skill

I have fully understood about 80 to 90 percent

And thanks for teaching me your Hu's sword skill

Alright, let's not talk about this

Looks like you have enough drinks

It's late, please have some rest

Late at night, Master Hu saw Miao to his room

I also saw

that Yan Chi and Tian Guinong sneaking around

Tian Guinong give him money, a glove

and a package

Yan Chi took the powder from that package and

smeared it on Master Hu & Master Miao's weapons

He had gloves on

so as to avoid any contact with the powder

Brother Hu, what shall we compete on today?

After these few days of comparing

topping up with last nights discussion

we both mutually understood each other's skills

Today we'll exchange our weapons and pit again

Brother Hu is indeed wise

This way, if you win,

it's like Miao's sword skill won over Hu's blade skill

If I win, it's Hu's blade skill defeating Miao's sword

Regardless of who wins or loses, status quo remains

Miao, please

Please

Brother Hu, you are a rare talent in martial arts

You have totally understood

our Miao's family sword skill's essence

I learned it within these few days

Brother Miao, your skill is equally superb

If it's not for your enlightenment last night

I fear I can't compete with you

This move is not right

This move is not in your Miao's family sword skill

I created it instantly, you were caught off guard

therefore I won one move by luck

Brother Miao, don't

Brother Miao's skill is unpredictable

I admire you

Well, I also created this move instantly

If not for brother Hu's kind intentional care

it won't go so well

Well said. Actually if you hadn't shown mercy

...my left arm would have been cut down by you

Brother Hu, my move has indeed been cautious;

But even if I would have cut off your left arm

your kick would be fatal

Based on your conduct

you could not have killed my father & Tian's father

Why don't you tell me

how did my father and uncle Tian die?

Haven't I said clearly to you already?

But you don't believe and thus resort to violence

I have no choice but to risk my life to comply

You have said to me? When?

Brother Hu

This blade is smeared with poison, brother Miao

We have fallen into the trap of evildoer

This poison is very potent

Brother, it is better for you to die this way

Master Miao, your weapons are borrowed

You don't even notice that they have been poisoned

This is fate, I can't blame anyone

I promised my dear to personally bring up the child

but in these five days, I have seen that Master Miao

is a sincere and righteous man

Since you have promised to look after this child

I'll just take a laze

I'm not going to labour for the next 20 years

Kill the child in the room to prevent future trouble

Brother Hu, Madame, please rest assured

I will surely foster your son to adulthood

"Hu's knife skill manual"

Here are the several pages of the manual

Yan Chi tore away 18 years ago

Why is it that he is willing to return to you?

I only mention that Master Miao asked you

to return those few missing pages

from the manual

Master Miao was present at that time

how does he dare not return?

This move is really ruthless

A pity you couldn't see the last few moves

It's not very well executed

Young beggar, you also understand blade skills?

I understand more than you

You've only seen the front part, not the last part

Originally I knew of only the last part

Now, I have seen the front part as well

This means that I understand what you know but

you don't necessarily understand what I've learned

I think you only know how to boast

You don't believe? Come on, try it

This Eight Diagrams blade doesn't suit me well

but it will do

Look, this move of yours

I can easily deflect it

I expect your next move is ready to attack lower part

What do you think?

Watch out, I'm going to attack you

This move of mine will attack your left shoulder

Look at you, can't avoid it right?

Who are you?

My name is Hu Fei, haven't you heard of?

But think about it

have you been involved with anyone by the surname Hu?

Hu... Hu Yidao

That's right

Today is your retribution day

Attack

Thank you very much, young man

Old lady, you don't need to thank me

I am Hu Fei, Hu Yidao's son

It was your husband's wrong doing that year

My father has died many years ago

Today I have avenged your child's death

Uncle

It's getting dark, we'll not able to reach the lodge

let's rest here

Don't be upset, it is natural for a person to die

Someone is here, I'll make a move

You must block the Zhong brothers

Don't let them rob away

the letter for Master Miao

Who are you two?

Don't bother my uncle, he is sick

Are you with the Zhong brothers?

I don't know what you're talking about

Are you delivering a letter to Master Miao?

The invincible Miao Renfeng

You know Master Miao?

Not really, but...

Master Miao is so famous, who wouldn't know him?

Well said

It's because Master Miao is a well respected hero

therefore, I Liu HoCheng is willing to serve him

Someone asked me to deliver

a very important letter to Master Miao

It relates to a number of anti Qing patriots' life

What that person means is that the Hubei Zhong brothers

tried to snatch this letter

Even I fought them but had to step back

Brothers, can you help?

What do you need me to help?

If they pursue to this place

please try to delay them, the longer the better

Uncle

Your martial art is already accomplished

You are kind, able to distinguish right and wrong

I... I am relieved

Uncle

I am so stupid

Miao Renfeng has a lot to do with my father's death

I should have asked that Liu

where he lives

These trees and the mountain belongs to me

If you want to pass through, you must pay me

This is a rundown temple; no mountain or tree

where does this petty thief come from

and start demanding passage money?

You both are in such a hurry

Are you pursuing a person by the surname Liu?

Are you with Liu HoCheng?

No, I'm not. But...

I know Liu has some important matter to attend to

Why don't you wait for him to finish that

then go look for him?

We must stop him, out of the way

It's not difficult to ask me to make way

If you can defeat me,

there's no way I can block you, right?

In that case, we Zhong brothers

will have to fight you. Draw your weapon

That's the problem

Today I came in a hurry and didn't bring any

I practise blade skill, it's no good without a blade

Stop putting on airs

If you want to block us, show us your capability

In that case, I'll use this wooden stick as blade

I have something to say before we start

I am using a stick, this will be a friendly match

If I lose, I'll bow three times to you

If you lose,

what then?

We'll turn around and walk away

That's not necessary

you just need to walk back 50 miles

After which if you decide to continue pursuing Liu

it does not concern me anymore

The Zhang brothers are famous

I trust that you will not go back on your word

Certainly

Come on

If I'm holding a real blade

your arm...

Don't worry, you are not injured

Excellent blade skill, we'll leave

A pity indeed! Walking the wrong path at young age

What do you mean by the wrong path?

That kid hides here and peeps

He'd be worried that I can't block the Zhong Brothers

Fool! I should follow him to look for Miao

This time, Miao Renfeng is going to fall in our trap

Follow him

Have a seat

The person who handed me this letter said that

it is extremely important

The letter has been delivered, I'm leaving

Wait

After I read the letter, please send a message back

Brother RenFeng, your daughter is very intelligent

I'm a warrior, not suitable to be with your daughter

I may interfere with your daughter's education

However, she's most welcome to stay with us

- sincerely Brother Tian Guinong

Master Miao, I'll help you capture them

Master Miao, I may not be your friend

but I'll not harm you, do you believe me?

Very well, help me block those evildoers outside

Yes

Er Mei Zhong Zhaoying, Zhong Zhaowen paying a visit

we have urgent matter to inform you

Traitor, you have tricked me

Miao Renfeng is already blind

Father, what's that sound?

Is the wolf here to eat the lamb?

It's not wolf, but four mice

Will the mouse bite?

Yes, but there is a cat here

Go

A thunderstorm is approaching, don't worry

I am not

The thunderclap is very loud

Go to sleep. The thunder god likes obedient girls

What is your name, young lad?

Have we met before?

When a gentleman befriends someone, he must be loyal

and devoted; however, name is not important

Great. I Miao Renfeng have only 2 best friends

One is Master Hu Yidao

the other is you who is nameless,

whom I have never met before

Those guys were Tian Guinong followers

I've had a feud with the Zhong Brothers' ancestors

They are here for vengeance

If you want a fight, then go ahead

My daughter is asleep, don't awaken her

Why are you blindfolded?

Are you looking down on us?

Please speak softly, I am blind

We'll not take advantage of you then

We seized someone at the entrance a moment ago

His name is Liu HeZhen, he wanted to see you

This guy harbours evil intentions

You know Liu HeZhen is coming to harm Master Miao

He was here already, Master Miao's eyes...

If it's not for you, we'd have caught up with him

It was Tian Guinong that harmed me

You couldn't have prevented his trickery plot

Master Miao, I was tricked

It was he who gave me the letter

I cannot disobey my master, it was he who...

You are Tian Guinong's disciple?

Yes, my name is Zhang Feixiong

This traitor covets life and fears death

Not daring he tricked me into delivering the letter

He said if this letter is not delivered to Master Miao

dozens of anti Qing patriots will suffer

Also that the Zhong Brothers had a feud with Miao

I must stop them since he is no match to them

We already know this lad's background

Looking at both of you sneaking around...

we can judge that you are up to no good

Tian Guinong knew I dote on my daughter

He sends a letter to demand for my daughter

I was angered by the letter so I tore it up

He put the poison on the letter

Master Miao, I have a favour to ask of you

please hand me this kid

Brother Liu, it's not worth haggling with this villain

Let him go

Zhang Feixiong, go back to your master and tell him

There is nothing to say, please leave

Master Miao, I, Liu Hezhen is young and ignorant

I have implicated you too much

Brother Liu, there's no reason to blind yourself

Brother Liu, why are you doing this

I know it's unintentional on your part

I don't blame you at all
