Hello, I'm CG Ian. This is a quick video to show how to make cube circle in Blender.
After starting Blender, we can go to add mesh and add a cube here.
Close up to view it. And then we can select the cube and go to edit mode
to transform it to circle. Make sure that we have geometry.
So, we can just right click and use subdivide to add geometry.
Actually we can go to subdivide panel. We can change number of cuts to adjust the geometry.
For example, we can use two or three or four. I will make it simple. So I use two.
Next we can clickk empty space to apply it.
And then if you want to change it to circle, make sure that we select the geometry.
In this tutorial, I will use edge selection. And then I use alt shift to make a multiple selection of edge loop
click to make a selection. So I select the top edges and then we can go to mesh and transform.
We have two options. The first option we can use to sphere. Another option we can use to circle.
I will use to circle in this tutorial. So I click it. And then we have the circle faces.
If you want to customize it, we can go to top circle panel. We can adjust the factor.
And if you want to make it circle, make sure that we have one in the faceor, and then we can use the rotation to rotate the geometry.
I will keep it in zero. And also we can change the size using the radius.
I uncheck the box to keep the default setting. Actually we can uncheck the box to space evenly , this is the option
and then we can make it flatten or we can keep it in flatten
and we can lock the axis and lock in Z direction.
This is the way to make top faces circular. If you want to make the second edge loops and the third edge loops circular,
we can make multiple selection to the edge loop, and then we can go to edit and we can use repeat last.
This is repeat last action. I click it. So we can make it circular.
So we can make the same thing to the bottom edges.
So this is how we can make cube circle in Blender.
Thank you for watching this video. Hope this help.
