Original subtitles

Previously, the Traitors committed their sixth murder...

I don't think I can see a way of me getting through

with Jessie still here.

..which put them directly under the spotlight.

Last night, she was coming for Stephen.

Stephen is the only person in the game

that has voted out both Traitors.

Why am I still here? Is someone keeping me in?

I'm not a Traitor.

As they continue to feel the pressure during the mission...

The Traitors will secretly emerge from their boxes

to decide an answer.

..emotions ran high at the Round Table.

I've never seen someone go through so many Round Tables

and had to put up with as much as I have.

I'm sorry, Ellie, but it's pointing to you.

You don't know who to trust.

And after a shock admission...

I actually came in with my boyfriend.

Ross.

No!

..another... Faithful. ..left the game.

Oh, no.

The remaining eight players bonded at the dinner party...

To whatever happens. We're the final eight. Cheers, everyone.

..until the ceremonial dagger brought the game back into focus...

Whoever possesses this dagger

gets a double vote at the next Round Table.

It's up to the Traitors who has it.

..leaving the Traitors with a big decision to make.

This could ruin our entire game if we make the wrong decision.

This is The Traitors.

# This is where we begin... #

Please, please let this be the right decision.

If we've made the wrong decision, this could backfire massively.

# We've been waiting for... #

MUSIC: Loaded by Primal Scream

With no murder last night, everyone's heading for breakfast.

But which player's game will now be balancing on a knife edge?

Yeah. Oh, it's tiny. Oh! First in?

Jesus wept. First in today.

How weird. It's actually horrible,

like, my stomach's dropped a little bit. Yeah.

It was great there was no murder,

slept really well,

but the anticipation of the dagger and who's going to get it,

there's a little bit of nerves.

Even though, like, to some degree, people might think

there's an advantage of having two votes, I do not...

Get that away from me. I don't want it, yeah.

Get that away from me! I just don't at all.

Big day today. We need to get one today. I know.

For me, I think it could either be Jade or Stephen.

I think Jade's obviously kept Stephen in. Yeah.

If Jade is a Traitor, she's done it so cleverly.

Like, how she's really got a couple of people that fully, 100%...

And that's how a Traitor would play.

Stephen and Jack are really allies to her. Yeah.

I just can't believe we got it so wrong two days in a row.

KNOCKING

ALL: Come in.

Hello! Hello. That really hurt my hand, that knock!

Look at the size of the table. I know.

Hello. Oh, that's very weird. That's really strange.

How did everybody sleep last night?

I slept good, me.

Just good knowing that you're coming back the next day, isn't it?

You normally just go for, who do you think's coming back? Yeah.

And now it's like, who do you think has a dagger?

Oh! The dagger thing.

Jack, how could you forget about that? Jesus.

A short memory there, Jack. How convenient.

Yeah!

Last night, we spoke about who to give the dagger to at length.

I genuinely hope we have made the right decision.

This is the most crucial point in our game, and I'm nervous.

What's the likelihood, actually, of a Traitor giving it to themselves?

Do you reckon it's too high risk? No, I think it's quite high.

I think it's either a Traitor would give it themselves

or someone who's very close to them.

Would any of you like the dagger?

No. I would like the dagger.

You would like it? Yeah.

It's difficult because, like most things in this game,

it can come across like a poisoned chalice.

You're damned if you do and you're damned if you don't. Exactly.

KNOCKING

ALL: Come in.

Yay! Hey!

Hello. Oh, my God, the table.

I was so nervous coming into breakfast this morning,

and I had kind of expected the dagger to just cause people

to talk very openly at the breakfast table.

And I think that's when I find things quite difficult,

because there's not really anywhere to hide.

Right, where's the dagger? Come on.

Oh, James. It's not in my back again, is it?

We were asking, would you like the dagger?

Absolutely.

So, you would. So, Faraaz would and you would.

Stephen, would you like the dagger?

I don't think so. Because I feel like having it

kind of could obviously help you,

like, if you have suspicions on someone,

but I think it also makes people suspicious of you as well, maybe?

Oh.

WHISPERING: Oh, she looks so nice.

Good morning, players. ALL: Good morning.

And it is a good morning.

None of you were murdered.

Yeah.

So, let me ask you this, everyone nice and relaxed?

No. Mmm.

Hmm, I thought so.

Last night, under the cover of darkness,

the Traitors chose who to give the dagger to.

Whoever has possession of the dagger,

they get a double vote at tonight's Round Table.

I can now reveal that the person

who the Traitors chose to give the dagger to is...

..James.

Wow.

Wow.

How do you feel? Stunned.

That's some clever gameplay going on there, whoever's given that to me.

It's actually making me doubt myself. Yeah, wow.

Wow.

Either me or you having the dagger,

it's a quick fix,

and I don't think it's going to take us to the endgame together.

No, it attracts attention that we don't need.

This is an advantage for us,

and let's use it to cause the most damage.

I completely agree.

We're locking in...?

BOTH: James.

He's going to vote for Matt, and that's what we need.

Matthew believes that he's going to be joining us

in the Turret very soon, after Jessie's murder. Yeah.

We need to get rid of him before he realises that that's not happening.

He is the most dangerous player in this game right now.

We could say the Traitors have given the dagger

to James from Matty

because he knows his time's up,

and he can say, "James, do you think I would really give you the dagger

"if I knew you were voting for me?"

It's almost like it's too obvious. Yeah.

And I'm going to lean into that.

Go for it.

Wow.

I imagine that has got all your heads spinning.

That'll happen also at the mission.

I'll see you there shortly.

Oh! Stop it, God! Spinning?

Oh!

James, what are you saying about that? I don't know now.

That's very clever play, because that's got my head in a spin.

Traitors, what have you done?

You beautiful, murderous...legends.

Yes!

They've played into my hands, finally.

I'm so grateful for this because, as a Faithful,

I have the game in, not the palm of my hands,

but on the tip of me finger a bit.

That's psychological warfare, that is.

You did say you wouldn't mind it this morning! Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Why would I give it to him?

If someone's voting against you, would you give them the power?

I honestly would not.

So, guys, guys - can I just say something?

Because, James, you obviously suspect me as a Traitor.

Would I - would any of you - be so stupid, if you were a Traitor,

to give...? You and you were going to vote for me tonight, right?

Not necessarily. And probably Jade, because I went against you.

Not... No, not because you went against me.

It could be your only play left. It's very...

Whoever's done it, it's so genius. How is it my only play left?

It's so genius, whoever's given that to me.

But what if that is a bluff? Why would I do that?

Because, like, that's now four votes, and I'm gone, so...

Correct. It's very clever.

Do you know what, I feel like the Traitors are silly

because I was voting for you, but now this has almost...

You've made a very valid point that's almost changed my mind.

I would never do that. I would never do that.

Like, is that a really, really stupid play...

On my part? ..or a genius play?

No! It's genius play, on both levels.

This breakfast went exactly the way we wanted it to go,

and Matty played into it perfectly.

You know, you feel bad

when you play people, but it's the nature of the beast.

James is a wonderful person,

and he's here because we need him to be,

and because his beautiful thought process

helps our game.

Jade, I think you're the Traitor

and I think this is the best...

It's not me! It is, it's you.

It's not me. It is, I'm sorry.

I'm being set up.

It's not you, don't worry.

How do you know so sure?

I can just feel it, man.

The dagger has definitely changed the game.

It is either going to be a massive benefit for me,

or it's going to be the final nail in the coffin.

I think it is a bit of a mistake from the Traitors, to be honest.

It would be the stupidest move,

if I were the Traitor, to give it to James,

who's going to vote against me.

I just hope that people can see

that Jade is a Traitor.

PEACOCK CALLS

JAMES: Those two, it's them.

Roxy and Matthew.

JADE, LAUGHING: I am being set up so hard. I know you are.

So hard! I know you are,

because I know who put the ideas in my head that it was you.

MATTHEW: I'm going to billiards. Yeah, I might.

I've never been more convinced that it's Jade than I am right now.

And I have been asking myself the question, why am I still here?

But see, when I said to Jade just now, she was like,

the face that she pulled was so... It was like...

There's no actual defence, it's just,

"I'm being set up, I'm being set up."

Look, at this point,

it's very stacked against me.

It was stacked against me before the dagger.

I would never do that.

There's nothing smart about it because... No.

No, that's, like, a kill-switch method.

Would you really risk...? No, of course not!

I'm now absolutely swayed away from voting for you.

But there is that chance where it's like...

People would think there's no way that you'd risk it.

God, if not, we're missing the obvious with James.

You think he'd give it to himself? Absolutely.

Because nobody suspects him, it's only been me going at him.

Why am I still here? Because I've been going at him.

But it's keeping me in.

But is he just hiding behind his personality?

I think James is a Traitor and he gave himself the dagger as a bluff.

I would have thought that there would be more suspicion

on the person who got it,

but I just think James is doing an amazing job

bluffing the life out of everyone.

Matty's ringing alarm bells for me.

Came straight out and said it and said,

"Would I be so stupid as to give it to James?" Yes, you would.

He did say it straight away.

He knows he's on the ropes, right? So, fair play,

I want to shake his hand, because it's genius.

RACHEL: Let's face it, you have two votes.

Yes. You are very, very dangerous tonight for the Traitors. 100%.

They know I'm thinking about it.

They want me to... Matthew and Roxy want me to think -

I know it's them - they want me to think, "He's doubting himself."

It's a great play.

Or we also need to consider that you're a Traitor

and you've given it to yourself because you'd have great fun with it.

You can consider that, absolutely.

Rachel and I were concerned about giving this dagger to James

for the fact that you never know

where he's going to direct his attention,

but he's pretty determined that they're going to be used on Matty.

And then, if I vote for Matty as well, then it gives us three votes

against him, and then there may be one or two others around the table.

As long as that sticks,

then I think Rachel and I have

at least another 24 hours in us.

It's a battle of wits - this halfwit against them two.

And I ain't going to budge, mate.

My mind, at the minute,

is suspicious of Matthew.

Jade, can I have a hug, because...?

I'm not getting hugged by a Traitor.

His behaviour at the Round Table yesterday

just gave me the same feeling of the way Hugo and Fiona behaved,

and this is the first time I've really seen him

trying to get into people's heads.

But then there's also the doubt in my mind that,

is that too obvious from what's been going on?

Like, is someone flying more under the radar than that?

I obviously told you yesterday that I had suspicions of you,

and I was thinking, like,

if I were a Traitor and I got this power,

would I do something just as a last, like, swan song,

that's completely just bonkers-crazy, and just say, like,

this is either going to be the absolute end of me,

or it's the thing that might just see me through to the end?

Do you see my logic a little bit?

Like, if you're up against the ropes like that, do you just...?

That's fine. You will see that I would never do that.

Is that the game for you, though? Do you know what I mean?

At this stage, I think Stephen might be the other Traitor.

But I cannot point the finger at Stephen

because if I point the finger at Stephen,

he votes for me and I'm gone.

So I'm playing a smarter game

and this is a last-ditch attempt to try and save myself.

You know what? OK, actually,

so, I'm pretty convinced that if I go tonight,

the Traitors will have voted for me as well.

So there's a trail of evidence.

Yeah, OK.

Yeah. It's not a bad shout.

Matty did say he believes

that a Traitor will put his name down on their slate tonight.

So I had initially planned

to jump on that bandwagon

to get Matty banished.

But now I really need to think very carefully

around how I go into this round table,

because I don't really have anyone else to go for at the moment.

And this is when it starts to get really difficult.

JACK: Oh, the sun's out, guys! Come on!

The prize pot is currently sitting at £57,500,

and so today's mission is a chance to add to it further.

What do you think it's going to be, the spinning thing?

Do you reckon we'll be tied up to something and then...

I think so, going round. I just hope it's nothing too fast.

I'm gambling my whole game on everyone being Faithful in here,

which I think you are. I think what's going to happen tonight,

we will stick with Matthew.

If Jack doesn't get swayed tonight, we've got a Traitor out.

Matthew is going to get my vote tonight.

I don't even care if it looks like I'm planting seeds, I am.

I get paid to plant seeds for a living,

so I'm doing it as a Faithful at the minute.

It is a carnival! Oh, my God! What the hell?

Oh, my God.

No, no, no. I'm not eating any candyfloss.

Do you reckon there'll be sweets?

Arriving at the mission today,

Claudia's got some dodgy funfair set up here.

The popcorn's green and these toys are all brown.

This is amazing.

Hello. Hi. Hiya!

Welcome to the carous-HELL.

See what I did?

It might not look totally fun,

but I promise you, we're going to have fun today.

Your mission is simple.

All you have to do is strap yourselves into the carousel

and hold on for dear life.

You'll go for a lovely spin around.

When the ride stops, that's your cue to get off.

Then you've got to go and find bags of gold that are hidden

in cuddly toys across the fairground,

worth anything from £250

up to a whopping £2,000.

Do you know how much money you could add to your prize fund today?

£12,000.

Right, come on. 12K!

You can only go for another spin if you bring back gold.

OK.

Whoever's sitting on the carousel at the end, they win a Shield.

OK.

Enormous luck. Hop on board.

Strap yourselves in tight.

OK. Where are you going?

I'm claiming this one.

RACHEL: I really want a Shield on this game.

Getting a Shield as a Traitor

gives you one less emotion to fake.

I want it more than they do. I want to murder.

ROXY: Oh, my God. What are we doing with our lives?

LAUGHTER

OK, is everyone ready?

Yes. Let's do it. Can't wait.

Remember, it's fun.

Good luck. Let's go!

In three, two, one...go!

MANIACAL LAUGHTER, CIRCUS MUSIC

OK, so far, so good. I want my mummy.

Oh! Oh, my God!

Oh!

HYSTERICAL LAUGHTER

Ugh...!

That is going very fast.

Oh, my God!

The first spin was horrendous.

You're spinning crazy fast.

Like, you can just feel your brains going...

..wu-uu-uurgh!

Are we supposed to run after getting off of this?

FARAAZ: I think I'm going a bit dizzy now.

Ugh.

Seatbelts off, go get some money!

Oh, my God.

I think I was running in a zigzag

the whole way through the fairground.

Oh!

They are so dizzy.

There is something so mental

about ripping into cute bears, trying to find gold.

It was wild. And I've never seen everybody react to teddies

in such a violent way.

I got one!

The first bear I rip open,

find the bag and run straight back.

I really want a Shield

and I'm the first back, so I'm chuffed.

I've got some!

Got one, got one!

Oh, nice.

Right, there's one here.

James is back, Stephen has rushed in, Matthew is back,

Jack's back, Jade is back.

Roxy, Faraaz.

Where was I sat?

I'll just sit here.

STEPHEN: A seat's been removed.

No!

Faraaz, I forgot to mention,

we remove a seat or two after each spin.

Oh, every time, a seat's removed?

Oh, it is elimination. Oh, seats were removed?

Oh, mate!

I'm sorry, Faraaz, that gold goes back into the funfair

and you cannot win a Shield.

I was absolutely gutted. If I knew chairs would get taken,

I wouldn't have gone to the back first. I'm very competitive,

I've been playing sports since I was a young lad,

so I don't really like to lose.

Definitely more unfair than a funfair.

Players, after the first spin of the carousel,

you have added a momentous £3,250 to the prize fund.

So good. Well done, guys!

Yeah, well done, guys!

Who fancies another spin?

Oh, can't wait. Yeah.

Hold on tight.

Three, two, one...go!

OK.

OK!

Scream if you want to go faster.

No. No!

No!

Oh, awful.

Not for me, this one.

Honestly, I thought I might pass out and throw up.

And how on earth am I going to get anywhere in this mission?

It is my idea of hell.

The only thing that was pleasurable is that it stopped eventually.

Run, run, run, run!

Oh, my gosh.

I definitely felt the adrenaline kick in

when I could see that the seats were being removed.

It made me realise that this is real, this is a race

to save me from murder.

Yes! Ohhh...

Yes. Yes!

Come on, Jack!

Got one.

Oh, come on.

It became a bit dog eat dog.

Got it.

I found a teddy and it had a bag,

and I think Matt was also just grabbing the same teddy.

Yes, this is perfect. Come on, Rachel.

The panic sets in because I hear people running back to the ride,

and I still haven't found a teddy.

Yes, Roxy! Well done!

Yes, Rachel! Yes, Rachel!

Go, Rachel! Yes!

Matthew... Ugh! Stop searching.

Unlucky, Matty.

Good.

Lovely guy, but good.

Join Faraaz. Yeah.

We're going to spin you even faster.

No, you're not. No, you're not!

# Off with his head... #

Oh, my Lord. Oh, my Lord!

Oh, my God!

# Heads will roll... #

Ugh... Oh, my God.

# Heads will roll on the floor... #

HE RETCHES

Go, go, go!

Whoa!

Oh, 750! Well done.

Yes, come on!

This is quite naughty, I've removed two seats this time.

No. No!

Oh, no!

Oh, Stephen!

Sorry, Stephen.

Damn, that's a Faithful gone.

Sorry, Rachel. Aw!

THUNDER CRACKS

Go!

It is a bit faster.

Oh, stop it!

Is it nearly done with now?

Go, go, go!

Getting the Shield is do or die.

So, spin me around, chuck me upside down -

whatever it is, I'm going to gun for the Shield.

Yes, Roxy! Well done, Roxy!

Who's going to get it?

Open the penguins!

Rip out their hearts!

SHOCKED LAUGHTER

Yes! Oh.

I'm getting soaked.

My hair is ruined.

But I've got that 750 bag

and I'm getting my bum on that last seat.

Well done. I'm sorry, James.

Sorry, J! Oh!

Bring your possum.

Oh!

He's in a huff now.

James, I'm sorry.

Well done, darling.

Congratulations, you still have a spot on the ride,

you're still in contention for the Shield

and you managed to bring back...

RACHEL: Well done, Jade.

Well done.

We have one final spin.

Here we go, come on. Focus.

Extra fast, for the last time.

Remember, only those left at the end get a Shield.

When's it going to stop?

Get ready.

Ugh!

Run, run, run!

On you go, guys, get that £2,000 bag!

Two seats are going to be removed now.

All the frustration that I'd had about all the Traitors

was kind of being channelled into gutting these teddies.

I was picturing that.

Ugh!

Jack! Jack, the rocking horse! Jack, just here!

I look who's left and I think,

I don't want a potential Traitor getting this Shield,

but I'm thinking, right, out of the three,

I want Jack to get that Shield.

Is there something there? Yes.

Yes!

Run. 250.

I've got it as well. Yes, Roxy! Well done, Roxy!

What?

Ugh.

If it weren't for James saying that,

I wouldn't have made it back to the seat in time.

I owe it to James, big time.

What'd you get?

2K. You got the 2K?

Jade, I'm sorry.

Roxy and Jade, come to me. ALL: Aw!

I'm so sorry, these do not count.

750 from Roxy.

£2,000!

It's gutting to see that we were seconds away

from gaining another 2K.

Obviously, being a personal trainer, I pushed myself to that limit.

And it just goes to show

that I would do whatever it takes to get that Shield.

Players, you have added £9,250 to the prize fund.

Such a good job, well done.

And, Jack, as you were the last person on the carousel,

you have a Shield. You are protected from tonight's murder.

Come and get it. Oh, thank you, Claudia.

Well done, Jack. How much do you want that?

So bad at this point in the game! Well done. Thank you.

Well done. And well done, guys. Well done. Well done, guys. Well done.

Some of you lost your seat today at the carousel,

I know nobody wants to lose their seat at the Round Table.

That's the next time I'll see you.

Go back to the castle, get warm

and think about the rave reviews you're going to give my funfair.

Off you go.

Bye, Claudia. Bye! Bye.

That was hell. I'm awful with rides.

I would actually rather walk back.

I feel terrible, but it's worth it for this.

MATTHEW: Oh, poor Jack.

He was on it for so long, though, right?

Bet he's dizzy and green.

Had to walk back.

I wouldn't have minded joining him, to be honest.

Ah, that's brutal, that mission, wasn't it?

That's the worst one by a mile.

That was a tough one. That was really hard. Yeah, that was hard.

I think Jack earned his Shield, though, don't you? Yeah.

This Round Table is going to be...

It's going to go... And if it is you, when you stand up there

and say you're Faithful, I will be absolutely gutted.

And I will, I will.

What if it's not Jade?

If it's not Jade, I think it could be Stephen.

Do you? If it's not Jade, then it's Stephen and Rachel, I think.

Really? Yeah.

My sneaking suspicion is that Rachel is a Traitor.

She is very trusted around the castle.

I feel as if she trusts me.

And I think that, in her trusting me,

she could possibly keep me in the game.

I think I might just start sitting back,

seeing what the craic is, and pipe up when it's right.

Which part of the lasagne do you like the most?

The corner bit, the middle...?

I love a corner. The crispy corner.

How are you, Faraaz? You all right? Yeah, I'm good, mate, you?

I'm feeling better now, yeah. Good lad.

At least you know you're here tomorrow, innit?

That's a good thing. I know, I know.

All the sickness was worth it.

I'm proud of myself, my resilience today.

It's always a good feeling,

knowing I'm protected from murder.

When I first got here,

it was quite overwhelming for me.

I was quite overstimulated and stressed.

But then I've sort of settled

into the role of Faithful and I'm absolutely loving it.

Obviously, anything can happen,

but I think, Jade, it is between me and you.

But James has got the two votes.

You never know what can happen at the Round Table. Of course.

I'm not rolling over by any means.

I just feel like.... No, basically, I'm trying to understand

why this has happened, OK?

Jack and James have voted against me two nights in a row.

They've voted identically every night, as I've said.

OK? That is weird. That is, that is weird.

So that's three votes.

And Jade is a fourth vote.

So all I'm saying is,

all it takes is the other Traitor to just jump in.

And they've chatted about it, obviously, last night.

I think James has been gunning for you for quite a long time,

and it's now ironic that James has this power where he can do that,

to prove his point and get rid of you.

For me, he's just the central...

But I don't know, I just don't know.

My head is always on James

a little bit,

but people that I trust the most are still all here,

like Rachel or Stephen,

which is why it's insanely difficult now.

I'm going to speak to Rachel

because I need to also have a bit of a conversation there as well.

Oh, right, OK. I think you've got to have

a level of distrust in this game.

So, honestly, I haven't got a strategy any more,

except look at those closest,

which is hard, but so very necessary.

I'm going to be really honest here. I had Matty down as my endgame.

He was someone that I wanted to get to the end

and stand and trust and go,

I would share that with, you know, with you.

And now his actions recently, I'm going...

He looks like a man on the edge, bless him.

If I... I can't say I'm wrong, but, yeah, he knows the...

Let's just hope that we're right, right?

It's going to be a split between Matt and Jade, won't it?

I'm not getting Jade as much, like, I...

Like, she's not flustering. And, yes, she got defensive and...

And the defence is just, "I'm being set up. I'm being set up."

That's it. As well with Jade,

Jack's someone who trusts Jade a lot.

And I feel as if that is a big reason why he's still here.

Yeah, I think it's a fair point.

Hello, guys. How was the lasagne?

Not bad, not bad. Not bad.

Can I chat to you at some point? Yeah. I have to ask. Mm.

Ask away. Because I'm so paranoid about...

And I'm really like thinking to myself,

why am I still here now? I've got some really close people.

And I wouldn't be doing myself justice if I didn't come to you

and ask, like, just...

Ask me? Yeah. If I'm keeping you here? Yeah.

I'm only asking because I've got to ask.

As my close people, I've got to do it just for my own peace of mind.

No. No. I have to. You know what I mean? Yeah. I hate it.

I love you to bits. But no, it's not me. It's awful. No, no.

Come here. I can't not ask. So, no, it's not me. I know,

I know. No, it's not. I don't think it is, but...

I know, but you have to ask, you have to ask.

I think very, very, very highly of Rachel,

and I've had no reason to doubt her.

But I'm trying to not overlook anyone.

I had to do the same with Stephen the other day

because I'm really close to him.

And so I had a similar conversation.

It doesn't really help. It's just like,

I know they're going to say yes,

but maybe I'm just looking for that reassurance.

Whether it's real reassurance or not,

I guess we'll find out, won't we?

All right. Are you all right? Yeah, it's just tough.

But I'm just like at the point where I'm, like, so nervous.

I'm like, who is it? And if I get to the point

where it's someone I trust so much... I need to, like,

have a bit of a barrier.

It's harder to lie to certain people than others.

It pulls on the heartstrings a little bit

and I keep thinking, like, my mummy always said,

"Treat people with respect and kindness."

And if I can take an ounce of that into this game

as I murder and lie and deceive,

I'll do that, because it's the right thing to do.

..and if it's...

I've had this funny feeling about her,

but I've not heard it because...

Do you think? I just don't trust anyone.

No, me neither. Even James, I've got small doubts about now.

Yeah, so do I. Which is nuts, because I trusted him at the start.

But now it's like... You are the person I know I can trust 100%.

Between you and me, Faraaz. Yeah. Nice one, bro. Yeah, yeah.

My strategy for today is, vote for Jade first.

I think that I'm probably the only one

who's got the strongest suspicions on Rachel amongst the group.

It's just about being smart about it and staying calm

and composed and picking the right time.

Tonight at the Round Table,

James has been given a power never seen before in this castle -

a double vote.

Will he use this power wisely?

The final is getting so close.

The stakes couldn't be higher.

# I feel it in my soul... #

Walking in to that Round Table tonight with two votes,

er, I feel like a titan, I really do.

In the heat of battle, people can falter.

And I just hope that my fellow Faithful troops

see this one through.

# I'm a survivor, I'm a survivor

# I feel it in my soul. #

There is a lot of heat on me,

but I'm not ruling myself out. I have got plenty to say.

Maybe I can turn a few votes

away from me and towards Jade.

I've planted the seeds.

I've done the groundwork already to suspect Matty,

so it's not going to come as a surprise

when I bring it up at the Round Table.

But James can be very unpredictable

and it's been a while.

The Faithful are very hungry for Traitor blood.

Players, welcome back to the Round Table.

Today you added to the prize fund £9,250.

That means your current prize fund total

is £66,750.

Today at the mission, your heads might have been spinning.

But here, now, at the Round Table, you really need clear ones.

As usual, you will debate and then you will vote.

James, you hold the dagger.

That means whoever gets your vote will get double the votes.

It really could make an enormous difference

between who stays and who is banished.

So, Faithful, I ask you this.

Who is a Traitor?

The floor is yours.

I'd like to begin, if that's OK.

Um, Jade, obviously,

it's well clear that I was coming to, to, to put your name forward.

OK, yeah. I have to just go with the evidence

that's kind of been mounting.

So, you've been quite defensive.

Although, yes, you've articulated yourself very well,

there has been this defensiveness.

And your only rebuttal is, "No, you are."

No, it's not.

It's a spin. You're spinning it. No, you are spinning it.

I'm not spinning it. It's a spin, it's a spin. I'm not spinning it.

No, this is what... This is your words.

Basically, your only involvement at the Round Table

has been to defend yourself,

point the finger at the person that's accusing you, and that's it.

You haven't brought really any... I have. ..ideas to the table.

I have. I have opened up questions. I've always jumped in

whenever there was an opportunity, maybe, for me to ask something.

Yeah. I just... That's not how I remember it.

Has there been anything in my behaviour,

or anything that I've done, to suggest that I'm a Traitor?

You've had a bit of heat on you from the start,

and I feel as if the way you handled yourself

when Amanda came at you at the first Round Table

was, like, absolutely excellent.

But I feel as if from then, you've worsened.

I have always been defending myself.

But in the way that you've been defending yourself recently as well,

it is, as Matt says, it is, "I'm being set up, I'm being set up",

and then it's just pointing the finger straight back at someone.

It's not pointing. I'm not pointing the finger straight at anyone

because I don't know who's setting me up.

Who do you think is a Traitor?

Don't get me to point the finger back at you.

OK, who else do you think's a Traitor, then?

James, my suspicions are on you because you've got the dagger.

I think that just speaks for itself. OK. Faraaz....

That's not me pointing the finger back at Faraaz.

No, that's fine, yeah. And yourself, Roxy,

because the whole situation with the family portrait thing,

and you were the last person seen there, and that's not been resolved.

Fair enough. Can I have a go, please?

I bring forth my dagger to the table,

pointing at young Matthew.

I think Matthew knows I'm going to have two votes on him.

What he wants everyone else to do is doubt that.

So he's not worried about me.

He knows he's going to get two votes to start with.

All he's trying to do tonight is get Jade stitched up.

It's his only play. And to be fair, it is a genius play.

It's not. And he's a very intelligent man. It's not.

I think the thing is, I'm really trying my best to see it

from both sides. You know, I think that the last Round Table,

it was probably, for a lot of people,

a mashup between yourself, Ellie and Jade. Mm-hm.

So, like, the three of you are probably in the... Sorry to say,

but were in the running to be banished. Totally, yeah.

So the risk was going to be, coming into this Round Table,

that you're also going to be in the running to be banished. Mm-hm.

And I think if you feel that you were potentially going to go anyway,

it was that last-ditch effort to think,

"Well, if I could go, I'm being voted out,

"I could use this last-ditch bluff."

OK, this bloody dagger... Pointing in your direction, mate.

I don't know if that means something.

I would honestly...at this...

I would far rather people suspect me as a Traitor

than think that I would be stupid enough to give him the dagger.

You're going to vote for me. The dagger is the thing

that's maybe tipping me into being banished.

Because there's eight of us here. There's nine votes.

That's the deciding vote. And this is probably the most impassioned

that you've seen me because it's so stupid.

I'm not an idiot. I would not do that.

I want to back Matt with this dagger thing.

And if I'm wrong, then I'm wrong. You are.

But he wouldn't be stupid enough to do that,

because he knows that the Round Table

is literally going to go only,

probably only a couple of ways tonight.

And I feel as if because there's such a little number amount of us,

it's stupid.

What you're doing is proving that it's a genius move.

He's cleverly... No, but it's not because... swaying it away.

He knows it's the only play he has. And he's played it well.

If Matt was a Traitor, he'd give it

to someone who's not going to vote for him. No, he wouldn't.

James, what if he stands up there

and he does get voted off and he says he's a Faithful? I will.

Hang on, hang on... I will be truly gutted.

..who are you suspicious of then? Er, yourself. OK.

And I'm not putting pressure on you, but I'd be...

There's no pressure on me, I'm a Faithful. None at all.

I'd be very interested to see where you go tonight.

Yeah, it's going at you.

I don't believe that Jade is a Traitor.

For me, she hasn't done anything that's traitorous.

Same with you, Matt. I don't think you're a Traitor.

I have to see something myself. Despite everything, everyone,

and particularly James, is saying, I haven't seen anything.

I also see that we, as Faithfuls, need to collectively come together.

Right? So I don't want to be the person

that's potentially wasting a vote.

But I think I've made it clear.

All I have seen in terms of traitorous behaviours,

strange behaviours, strange theories, is James.

I personally think

that you have given yourself the dagger as a Traitor.

I think it's genius play because nobody... Wow.

..would suspect you as a Traitor beforehand.

Well, you do. Can I just finish,

because you've had quite a lot to say.

I also think you're really pushing this on Matt,

and it's a big protection for yourself.

I can't scratch this... It is, I'm a Faithful.

I want to get a Traitor out.

You're going to say that, you're going to say that.

I think you're very, very clever, James.

OK, that's fair enough. Um, I agree with you on a few points.

Er, so you suspect me, and Jade, yeah, it's cool.

You say you suspect me. And thanks for your honesty.

As a Faithful, I'm telling you lot,

if I'm not high on your suspicion list,

a Faithful has this tonight.

The vote's going that way. Come with me tonight.

If I'm wrong... You are wrong. ..I'm gone tomorrow.

You're literally trying to sway the people at the table

to vote in a certain way.

Yes, I'm genuinely trying to sway people tonight.

Can I...? As a Faithful... James, that is insane.

I beg you, as a Faithful, come with me tonight on this one.

James, you are going a bit heavy.

I am, yeah. You are. Yeah. I need to gamble here.

It's the first time I've seen you going a wee bit heavy.

Yeah, yeah, I've got two votes and I'm a Faithful.

I think it's because he's a Traitor with the power to do so.

I don't want to be swayed.

I understand what you're doing,

but you're, you're very strong in comparison to any other nights.

I feel like this is...

..if we don't get this right tonight, we are screwed. I agree.

Why is Jade...? Ah!

So this - to me, this is one of the most important votes

that we're ever going to do.

Because if we get this wrong, we are snookered.

So let's not get it wrong.

I don't, I don't know where my vote's going.

I'm really, really struggling with it.

I haven't had suspicion on you, James.

But tonight, honestly, like,

it's coming across a bit too heavy for me.

OK? That's fair enough. And it is a bit too heavy.

It's quite hard because, like, if I'm wrong about this,

I'm...honestly I, like... You are wrong.

..I'll troll myself.

James, I will say, you know, like, I've sort of trusted you

from early on, and I've had your back and, like,

it is a massive risk and I've never suspected you.

And I hope that you're right. So do I.

The thing is, if we vote Matt out and Matt is a Faithful,

this will be the first time ever that even I will...

I hate to say it, mate, but even I will look at you, yeah.

And of course. I don't want to be the sacrifice, guys.

You are going to be, and he's a Traitor.

And I'm sorry, I just can't... I'm a Faithful. Matt, I'm not saying

that you tried to sway me to vote for Jade at all,

but you have sort of pushed the,

"You're going to vote for Jade and this is why,

"and you guys should listen."

Whereas I wouldn't say at any point

that I've felt Jade has been trying to push why we should vote for you.

But then equally, it could just be a Faithful

trying to fight to stay in the game.

And that's why I'm really struggling.

Yeah, that's exactly what's happening.

Matty, there have been a couple of times since the mirrors mission

where I've kind of had a bit of suspicion on you.

But every time I've come to this Round Table

thinking, like, "It could be Matty,"

the way that you speak is so convincing to me.

And I've always taken a step back from you

because I feel like, do you know what? Like...

I'm just so convinced by how you're speaking to me.

The other thing today that made me quite uncomfortable was,

I did feel in the kitchen this morning

that you were basically saying,

"If people vote for me tonight,

"look at who voted for me, because there will be Traitors there."

And I think that's you trying to say to me, basically, like,

"If you vote for me, you're going to look super suspicious."

This has been a very deliberate decision

to give James the dagger.

I'm not saying it to scare anyone from voting for me,

but if I go tonight,

then there is going to be clear evidence left behind -

a Traitor will have voted for me.

Because you know the identity of other Traitors?

Och! James, honestly. It's just in the language.

There's little bits you slip up on time and time again.

You're going to...you're going to be so wrong,

and you're going to have so much egg on your face.

I am now struggling on who to vote for,

because, James, you have confused... Me too. Sorry about that.

Me too. Ironically, you've got a Faithful on your team.

And you... Yeah, yeah, sorry about that.

Jade, I am not a Traitor. Let's not waste this power.

And as I've said, I don't know what you are, but I am a Faithful.

I can hold my hands up and say I'm a Faithful.

So frustrating. What a waste of a dagger. Well done, everyone.

Well, it's a waste of a dagger to a Traitor, yeah, it is.

But it's not a waste if we get a Traitor out.

What the hell is going on?

I know, I know! It's very frustrating.

CLAUDIA: Players! The time for talk is over.

Please vote for the person you believe is a Traitor.

Has everyone voted?

Yeah. Twice.

Jade, we'll start with you.

Who do you believe is a Traitor, and why?

I thought I came in here with a clear mind,

but, um, it's just been scrambled.

Um, James.

I'm sorry. That's all right.

Faraaz? Well, what I thought would be quite straightforward,

but somehow turned very difficult for me.

And I'm still questioning whether I made the right decision.

But I have gone with yourself, Jade.

Just sticking to my guns. That's all right.

Roxy?

James. It's no surprise.

This is just my feeling since the very first day.

But I just don't think you've helped yourself this evening

around the table. That's fair.

Stephen?

Matty. For the past few nights,

you've managed to kind of swing me to the other way.

But tonight, James almost did that job for you.

I just felt like tonight, I had to stick to my conviction.

Thank you.

Jack? Uh...

Matt, this is the hardest vote I've had to make.

Um...

I've stuck with my guns, and I'm really sorry if I'm wrong.

It's OK.

So a vote count.

Two for James,

two for Matthew...

..and one for Jade.

James, for your double vote,

who do you think is a Traitor, and why?

Matthew, I've gone for you, sir.

I'm sticking with my guns.

Matthew, who do you believe is a Traitor?

James.

HE LAUGHS

Somehow, I came in here voting for Jade.

And it occurred to me

that maybe it's two Faithfuls bashing each other.

So I went with you.

Go out with a bang, at least.

So a vote count.

Four for Matthew...

..three for James...

..and one for Jade.

It all comes down to this final vote.

If Rachel votes for Matthew or anyone else,

Matthew will be banished.

If she votes for James, we will have a draw.

Rachel, who do you believe is a Traitor?

This broke my heart.

But I'm going to vote for Matty.

You know how I feel about you. It's fine, honestly.

But I think you could gift the dagger to James

and take a risk like that.

And I really, really need you to be a Traitor.

Matthew, you have received the most votes.

Please come up here and join me.

You're a legend. You are. I love you, man.

Poor Matty.

Matthew, you have received the most votes

and you are banished from the castle.

Now please reveal,

are you a Faithful or are you a Traitor?

I just came in and played as myself. And honestly, guys,

I love games. This has been unbelievable.

And I hope that you guys come visit me in Edinburgh.

When Claudia made her decision,

I felt the biggest sense of validation because...

..you know it.

I'm a Faithful.

THEY GROAN

I actually knew it.

I knew it.

Well played, James.

I don't believe it. I do not believe it.

ROXY: I believe it. Faithful...

..what...are you thinking?

The Traitors will murder one of you tonight.

My God.

I am genuinely speechless.

Goodnight.

Oh!

Oh! I'm sick of this game. I'm really sorry.

Honestly...

Yeah. I'm a little bit done.

STEPHEN: This is... I'm fuming.

That's me BLEEP. Probably deservedly so as well.

Sorry, Matt.

What an idiot.

What an idiot.

Wow.

Obviously, I have a conscience, and I feel dreadful.

The fact that I went so gung ho with someone, it was just belief.

I'm like, "I'm convinced I'm right."

It's so soul-destroying to find out I'm wrong.

I cannot believe it.

# Excuse me for a while

# While I'm wide eyed and I'm so damn caught in the middle... #

ROXY: I'm sorry. It's so obvious. He had it. He gave it to himself,

thinking that no-one would think that.

I'm sure of it. But I can't be, but I am.

JAMES: Dreadful. I completely own that.

I can't even look anyone in the eye. I'm so sorry.

James, James, James, James, James... I know. I own that.

I pushed that so hard. Uh, yeah.

And I had two votes and I'm a Faithful

and I've got it wrong. I don't know how I've got it wrong.

I was convinced he was. But you pushed it so hard... I did.

I own that, yeah. I own that. And I...

And it's just a bit outrageous. It is outrageous and I... I'm...

Yeah, whatever. Yeah, I don't think there's much...

There's nothing I can say. ..that you can say at this point.

Just let it sit a bit. Yeah. Yeah.

I do think suspicion is growing onto James.

He has done himself no favours at that table.

And the penny's starting to drop with other people.

Finally!

I know that I came at you a bit hard and I was giving you a bit of stick.

No, you're allowed to. No, no, no.

But I just want you to know... I'm a dreadful Faithful.

..in the game, I do get a bit... No. ..I get a bit heated.

Everybody gets it wrong. Don't get upset, James.

Don't be getting annoyed. We've all made decisions wrong.

It's OK.

We love you. All right? Listen. Yeah.

Come on. And getting something wrong is a good thing sometimes.

And it is brave and courageous to put your neck on the line

when you really believe in something. You have stuck...

And that's what I do.

That's what I'm doing with you.

Matthew, I'm sorry... It just takes...

It's all right. I'm so sorry.

It's all right, James. It's not your...

It's no-one's fault.

I am honestly astonished at James's performance tonight.

If he's a Faithful... Surely not.

..it's such a terrible play.

Yeah. Surely not.

RACHEL: Here. Come here, come here.

Why don't you just go down to the bottom and take five minutes?

Come here.

Here.

James is bawling his eyes out. Is he? Is he? Yeah.

Can I ask you why your vote went to James in the end?

Because that did surprise me a little bit.

Yeah. So, essentially, I just got really confused.

And then Matthew literally just went,

"You know what? Maybe we are just two Faithfuls going at each other."

Can I just ask, what are your thoughts on Rachel?

I think it's Rachel.

ROXY: Do you, Faz?

Yeah. I've thought about it, and I'm thinking why I'm still here.

And I think it's Rachel.

Faz... Oh, God. Don't.

I think it could be her. And I think it's the fact that...

Fiona didn't have many one-to-one chats.

I feel as if they had a one-to-one chat because there was trust there.

There must have been a disagreement,

Fiona's thrown her toys out the pram.

I think it was Traitor on Traitor and she's done that.

I think the fact that she's backed Amanda

and she's backed Judy makes her look like a Faithful.

And then obviously, you can get it wrong.

Er, she's got Ross out, and then she's got Harriet out,

knowing they're Faithful. And it makes her...

It paints her in a Faithful light.

Please, no. Please, no. Please, no. Please, no. Get me out of this game.

I think Rachel is dead on, to be honest.

And I probably should have brought it up tonight.

The outcome of me voicing Rachel could possibly keep me in the game.

And then if that bins me off, it really does point back to her.

I've a red, amber and green zone.

I do percentages. And it's... Slowly but surely,

everyone's in the amber zone with massive question marks.

I think we have to do that.

I've just had to put everyone on a level playing field.

Even the people that I've not looked at, I've not suspected.

Yeah, yeah.

I've been toying it in my head. Yeah, but you have to.

And I think it's either one of Jade and Stephen...

..and I think the other one might be you.

OK.

And I think it's to the fact

that Fiona didn't really have one-to-one chats with many people.

I know, so why...? And I feel as if she might have had one with you

because if you are a Traitor, you've got that trust there.

And then I feel as if you might have had some sort of disagreement.

She's throwing her toys out of the pram, coming, raging,

"Rachel's a Traitor, Rachel's a Traitor."

And then it's Traitor on Traitor. You've got rid of her.

I didn't want to be in a room with her on my own.

I didn't start that. Yeah. So I can totally understand

where you're coming from. Yeah. Listen, suspect all you want.

Throw everything.

Like, what is happening right now? Seriously, what is happening?

I was doubting my ability to stay calm under pressure.

It's getting hard.

I have to think quick on my feet.

# Falling at the reason for my beating heart... #

CLOCK STRIKES

Mate, don't worry about it. Yeah, sorry, everyone.

Have a good night's sleep. Yeah. Whoever's playing, they are sick.

Don't kill me tomorrow, please. Or tonight.

Do you know how you know I'm not a Traitor?

Because I would have killed you on the first night. That's brutal!

My head's a little bit scrambled.

You know, you've 22 people, and eyes can go out.

And now there's seven, and the eyes just look in

and they just look into our group.

This is the part now where I can't lose my cool or it's game over.

This is a lot.

If you're a Traitor, I'm coming for you. Don't you start, I swear. No!

The castle clock chimes have rung out,

sending the Faithful to the safety of their beds.

But one of them won't be safe for long...

..as the Traitors head into the Turret to decide who to murder.

This close to the final,

their decision has never been more important.

# Falling at the reason for my beating heart... #

This is getting pretty stressful now.

Faraaz did drop a bit of a bombshell tonight

that the Traitor might be Rachel.

I think Rachel has an uphill battle to make it to that endgame.

I just have this horrible feeling in my stomach,

and I'm just hoping she can do it.

# ..the reason for my beating heart... #

HE LAUGHS

What a Round Table! That was...mayhem!

Matty! It was a tough one.

What a sweetheart.

I honestly... I thought he was almost staying tonight.

Yeah. James went... I think the power of the dagger got to James.

It absolutely did. It went straight to his head.

I was questioned for the first time properly tonight.

Faraaz just said, "I think... I'm suspicious of you."

Faraaz came to us, first of all, in the library to talk about you.

Yeah. I think I need to remove the emotion from this,

because it's starting to really get to me.

And with that in mind, who do we want to murder?

So, we've got a couple of options. Well, Jack's off the table.

James, I feel like... He's going to get himself banished.

It's going to be between him and Jade tomorrow.

I really believe that. It's got to be between Faraaz and Roxy.

So the benefits of murdering Roxy

is that it doesn't necessarily link back to both of us.

I think it links probably more back to James.

Yeah. The cons are

that I think she really believes both of us as Faithfuls.

Mm-hm. And that's someone that could be really beneficial to us

in the endgame.

So the benefits of murdering Faraaz are,

he's getting close to the truth.

Mm. It would potentially remove one vote against you

at the Round Table if he is going to go that way.

Yeah. It throws a little bit of shade onto Jade.

But the con of murdering Faraaz is the fact that he said it to me

as I left the castle - "Don't murder me tonight."

Every decision we make now

is going to decide whether or not we make it to that endgame.

I know! And if we make the wrong one at this stage in the game,

it could cost either of us our place.

Oh, man.

OWL HOOTS

We're sure who we want to murder? Yeah. Ohhh...

HE EXHALES DEEPLY

I just need to know now that we're going to make it to the end.

I've made one promise since I've got here,

and I've told you I'm not breaking it.

OK. Please remember,

nobody can stick up for one another at this point.

And if you hear anybody repeat that I'm talking about you,

it's because I have to, to protect our alliance.

Right now, I'm worried.

Maybe I've been blind,

because I had been actively

not discussing Rachel if anyone ever brought her up.

She might not necessarily write my name on her slate,

but that doesn't stop her

sowing seeds of doubt against me.

If I did find out

that she was going against me behind my back,

then game on.
