Mom, I'm scared.

What are you afraid of, dear?

I don't know, but I don't like to sleep alone, Mom.

But we are here.

Now, my little princess...

you go to sleep like a good girl.

Tomorrow will be a day really busy, you know.

Can I go with you, Daddy?

If you want, honey.

Of course, dear.

could touch the box of music for me?

Of course.

And give me a kiss good night?

Goodnight My Dear.

Good dreams.

Goodnight My Dear...

and sleep well.

There.

how long will it take before to reach our destination?

well i think better spend the night here.

But so let's go wasting precious time.

well i heard some screams strangers coming from the shores.

Probably birds.

- Even so ... - Still what?

This has happened before.

Some time ago...

I heard the same weird screams.

So, the next day, we found a scientific expedition

that had been attacked and eaten by a tribe of cannibals.

Cannibals?

- Maybe they were wild animals. - Oh, no.

What's the matter with you?

Well...

I think it was a big mistake to bring you two.

But why?

Elizabeth, this country It's completely wild.

everything can be extremely dangerous.

Dangerous or not, we want to be with you.

It doesn't matter where or the conditions.

After all, we were always together.

I really don't understand why.

- Are you cold? - Not really, thanks.

I'll go down and bring some hot coffee.

Leave me alone!

Mother?

Dad?

White Goddess!

White Goddess!

White Goddess!

Hey, stop. There's someone down there.

He's still alive. Let's get him out of here.

Caution. Hey.

Hello?

Good morning, Miss Shelton.

My name is Dr. Burns from St. Jack's hospital.

Do you know Professor Taylor?

Jeremy Taylor?

Himself.

looks like an animal savage attacked him in Malawi,

cutting the left forearm.

Taylor is still in shock.

he must have been a Terrible deal.

In his delusion he repeats

that the boat was attacked by cannibals who ate your wife.

The Shelton Foundation organized the expedition.

would like me to write a full report?

No. That won't be necessary.

That was...

horrible.

They were...

Elizabeth...

Monsters...

She was...

food...

and, they ate her...

live.

go away...

dirty creatures...

Stay away from me...

Leave her...

My God...

they're cutting her to pieces.

No, I can't... bear it.

Elizabeth.

Elizabeth! Cruel beasts.

I was down there...

and suddenly I heard Elizabeth screaming loudly.

I immediately went on deck,

and I saw her.

They were eating her...

live.

My God, no.

Quickly, Miss. A-N-A.

Professor Taylor is having another fit.

Not feeling well, Jerry?

What was that, Jerry?

Now, calm down. Yes I know.

it's the same nightmare that obsessed you.

What happened?

Try to remember, Jerry.

Try to remember.

Tell me.

As I said, we were...

- we were on the boat... - AND?

What happened?

They were there.

They who?

Try to remember. Make an effort.

Tell the whole story, slowly, from the beginning.

Jerry, try it.

You know you can.

Tell me.

Please.

Tell me.

Come on, go on.

Is Professor Taylor here?

- Yes. That way, ma'am. - Thanks.

Please don't cry, Jerry, you will be sick.

you will only solve this drama, calm

and counting things slowly, one by one.

Are you Professor Taylor?

My name is Barbara Shelton.

I'm the president of the Shelton Foundation.

We organize your shipment to Malawi.

I see you are much better.

As you can see.

he can tell us everything about your exciting story

of survival among the savages.

Of course you scientists lead an exciting life.

I couldn't do it, that's a fact.

Jeremy!

Oh.

Jeremy, I didn't receive any news from them.

they have no idea of what you went through.

Jeremy?

Are you ready?

The doctor allowed me to take him for a little walk,

if you want.

the streets were lit and decorated for Christmas.

Let's take a look.

Lana!

Jerry, what's the problem?

Lana, stop!

Don't run away! Lana!

Now I remember everything.

Name me Jeremy Taylor.

I'm an expert in tropical diseases.

I'm married and I have a daughter, Lana.

I was born in Columbus, Ohio, 1940.

I was sent by the Foundation Shelton to Malawi...

where my daughter disappeared.

Elizabeth...

But of course, dear.

you know how i like to do these things.

Sorry to disturb you...

but I must speak to you.

Oh, it's our teacher.

Come in and sit down.

what i have to say It's very important.

Well, we are listening.

But of course.

Tell us everything, professor. We are all ears.

Ah, Charles is family, in fact my lover.

An absolutely adorable man.

wanted to talk in private with you.

You can speak privately here.

I understand.

I need your help.

can always count with me, you know.

With my help. You understand.

That's very kind of you.

I remember what happened.

It was upstream, about 32 miles from our destination.

We spent the night on board.

the captain was restless about traveling at night.

my wife Elizabeth and my daughter

insisted on coming with me on the trip.

I didn't want them to be...

but they forced the issue, so I did my best...

I did my best for the situation.

But that night, without any warning,

the Malawi did a sudden attack.

They are from one of the wild tribes of the area.

my wife went victim of...cannibalism.

They said you was cured, but...

judging by the that she just said.

I would say it is far from all right.

But I'm telling the truth. Believe me.

well tell me how we can help you,

but don't tell us fairy tale.

It's not a fairy tale.

I want to set up an expedition and go back to Malawi

to find my daughter.

Maybe she's alive.

I can't pay,

that's why I am asking for funding.

Go back to your clinic.

I'm telling the truth.

You are crazy.

Get out of here.

and stop bothering us with their stories.

Bring on ... the White Goddess here for me.

Oh, great Goddess, hear our call.

Please listen to our words.

Oh, great Goddess!

Great Goddess!

Please!

Listen to the request of the Gaevis, great Goddess!

I'm dying, White Goddess.

I'm dying, you know.

promise me not will abandon us.

my son, my son will be your husband.

And you will be... his guide.

my people need the Your protection, White Goddess.

My son.

My son...

will marry you,

and you will guide him and also the tribe

through the difficulties of life,

oh, White Goddess.

Save your people.

Save him...

I'm looking for the businessman Portuguese called Martin.

Ah, down there. Eating.

Are you Mr. Martin?

It is me.

Can we sit down?

The place is public.

Thanks.

they told me you know well the Malawi region.

better than the palm of your own hand.

No.

let the palm of the my hand out of this.

It would be impossible to know this area in depth.

- Who would know? - Only the Gaevis know it well.

It's who we're looking for.

The Gaevis.

Well, in that case,

better look for for someone else here.

But they told me that you deal with them.

So what?

even the americans negotiate with the russians

and people don't give importance to that.

Anyway, I always used intermediates.

I must go in this region and I need a guide,

supplies and men to help me.

If you are really in need...

if you have a lot of money

will find two or three desperate men

ready to go with you and take all the risks.

Unfortunately I don't have the money.

his daughter went kidnapped by the Gaevis.

When was that?

Many years ago.

Better forget about it.

Anyway... you should know everything about them.

How dare you talk to me like that?

You're just a dirty opportunist,

a parasite,

earn a living dealing with people that devour women and children.

You disgust me!

Let's get out of here.

Well friend,

what you said may be true,

but I worry about my skin.

It might not be right,

but that's all i know and I try to do it well.

Trading with these people

I keep body and soul together.

I understand perfectly.

None of you are going with me, huh?

They're a bunch of filthy cowards.

- Me too? - You Fenton?

What the hell are you doing here?

oh it was passing around these parts,

so I said to myself:

"Why not have a drink with dear Dr. Taylor? "

The fact is that I took a trip endless trying to find you,

That's all.

But you didn't believe me when I told my story.

my sense of humor sometimes seems a little incomprehensible,

but deep down I have good intentions.

The story you told us affected me deeply.

So Barbara and I decided to help you.

We have the equipment you need

to carry out the expedition.

Well, as they say...

life is full of little ones and pleasant surprises, eh?

The coin has two sides, doesn't it?

Even I can make a mistake.

- Are you serious? - But of course.

you will go to the port in Mesquite tomorrow.

Right?

We'll be waiting for you on the yacht Regina.

I wanted to call the Queen Mary,

but someone did it before me.

So, see you tomorrow. Are you okay?

Here is our hero.

You must apologize for the other night.

I was drunk. Outside of myself.

Come on, I'll introduce you to the others.

Friends, may I introduce Dr. Jeremy Taylor?

He will be the head of our expedition.

And now let me introduce the other members.

A gang of adventure seekers.

Ha ha! Are you happy?

It's amazing.

remember this it won't be a party.

Remember this

Ah, we have a guide.

Who knows the area from Malawi very well.

I've been there before.

So you know the Gaevis tribe?

I know they are dangerous.

I will make any effort to find them.

I warn you, it will be risky

take all these people with us.

I know. They wanted to go.

I'm just worried about the money

and I want to get paid in advance.

You are absolutely right. Do you want to go then?

I know it will be a trip It's hard, teacher.

But we will follow you wherever you go.

I was very unfair to you.

Barbara felt really bad about it.

Want to make up.

Besides, we're all crazy to make a cannibal hunt.

you give the orders and let's execute them.

Jerry...

Oh you.

I'm very sorry.

I'm sorry, Ana.

Me me...

Jerry, I know you don't love me.

I left you,

oh first White Goddess.

I, who must be a husband

of your holy daughter,

that's you reincarnated.

with respect demanded by the gods...

I promise to own you,

solemnly respecting your divine head.

Oh please accept me,

Holy Goddess.

Our enemies, the white men,

are coming back to our territory!

Death to the white invaders!

They must die!

The Gaevis won't be caught by surprise this time!

I promise to exterminate the invaders!

Ah, it's good to get out of the jeep.

Very nice here, isn't it?

Barbara, stay close to me.

It's going to be exciting.

I can say. Amazing.

Now come everyone! Let's make a group.

We will. Don't stand still.

We don't have all the time in the world.

Come on then.

Let's make a group. Now Taylor.

What do you suggest as the best way?

Where do we go first?

Let's keep walking around here.

All right, guys. Let's go now.

- After you. - We will.

You are taking us. Let's follow him, shall we?

I think I better follow the river.

Yes of course, it's the easy way.

In recent years, the Gaevis have become deeper into the jungle.

Is it really?

I imagine they did more for a sense of security.

Right?

I think there is a reason for what they did.

Oh, it's really beautiful here. Let's shoot.

Yes. Why not?

With smart editing, we can have a tiger.

Just a minute, honey.

Did you smell a strange smell?

It's probably a carcass getting rotten.

Just a minute while I fixed the focus.

Great.

Now, step back. One step back.

Oh God!

Taylor!

Oh God, I want to get out of here!

Calm down, Barbara. Don't cry.

Come on, Barbara.

You mustn't cry like that.

I'm so afraid. Let's get out of here.

You are right. Let's get back to the truck.

- Where are you going? - Back to the truck!

It's safer there!

Oh my God.

What's going on?

We better stay together. It's more secure.

Come on, Barbara.

Earnest!

- Where are you?! - Maria!!

Maria!

Maria! Can you hear us?!

Earnest, where are you?!

Earnest?!

Reply!

Earnest?!

Earnest, can you hear me?!

Maria!

Earnest, answer!

You go that way. OK?

Follow me in silence.

I'll take a look around here.

Be careful, Barbara.

This swamp is full of deep holes.

Watch out now. It's going well.

Forget it, darling. Don't be so excited.

Here we go.

All right?

God.

Come on, Barbara. Calmly. Slowly.

Johnny, stop laughing.

It makes me nervous.

Keep your eyes open.

The Gaevis are watching us.

My feet are killing me.

Barbara, dear. A little more effort.

Come on. Stand up.

Come on, we can't stop here.

We'll be there soon.

I can't go on!

- Let's help her. - Oh.

- Hey, Fenton's gone. - There?

Comes here. I will look for the fool.

- Otherwise, he'll get lost. - OK. We will.

Fenton!

Fenton!

Fenton!

Can you hear me?!

My... heart!

Relief!

Someone!

Oh, help. Relief!

Fenton?

Fenton, where are you?!

Fenton!

Fenton!

Where are you?!

Oh!

My God, I can't go on.

You must forgive me, Professor Taylor, but...

... I never believed yours story about cannibals.

we thought we had coming to have fun.

And now it's too late.

It's not far now. We're almost there.

I don't have the strength.

sorry but no may I continue.

I need a break.

Just for a while. Please.

- Please. - Don't worry. Caution.

Just a rest.

Five minutes. Five minutes.

That's all I ask.

I need to rest.

I can't continue.

You'll be fine. Don't worry.

I beg you. Please.

- Please. - Caution.

Oh yeah.

Oh, I'm better. Oh.

Thank you teacher.

let's hope that our sacrifice

help him find his girl.

A poisoned arrow!

Let's get out of here!

We will!

No! No!

No! Relief!

Somebody help me!

We will!

Let's try to get back on the truck.

We will. Give me your hand.

Johnny! A-N-A!

Wait for me!

There is a point where the river is shallow!

Wait for me to join you!

Wait a!

Wait for me!

Hey!

Hey!

Jerry.

Stay close.

Get down!

No, I don't. Leave me alone!

Jerry, help!

You white killers,

are in my hands

and let's get revenge for everything

what they did to us.

You will die! You will die!

Slow and painful will be your death!

You will be tortured! You will cry!

You will bleed! A painful death!

Lana.

Will you untie me?

I waited a lot time for that moment.

But untie him first.

Continues.

Thank you very much.

Hey.

Do you understand me?

You are my daughter.

You are not one of them.

I'll take you away with me.

They kidnapped you many years ago.

Try to remember. This happened on a boat.

You were a child. Remember?

Go away now!

But...

Go away now!

I don't know what to do.

- You must convince her. - Didn't you hear her?

She remembers but doesn't want to come.

You have to force it.

you see the confusion where we are, isn't it?

We have to assemble a proper shipment.

- You saw her with your own eyes. - Don't be stupid!

She's close.

The Gaevis are sleeping now.

Take the opportunity.

Give me a break.

I have to think for myself.

Take care. They sleep lightly.

Wait for me here.

Shh, be quiet...

Quiet.

Fast.

We will.

Lana, stop right there.

Calm down and listen. You come with me.

You are neither a priestess nor a goddess.

Do you understand me?

 simply my daughter, Lana...

who was kidnapped by Gaevis a long time ago.

For the love of God, let's get out of here.

It's a law of the Gaevis,

if a man wants the woman belonging to another

he can only conquer it if you defeat the other in combat.

Jeremy, you can't do this. I will fight for you.

I...

I will kill you.

You are a dead man!

I won.

Come on, Goddess.

- Trust me, she won't. - Very good!

You too will die!

I'll kill you, white man.

For the girl, I will kill you!

You're dead, white man.

Let it! Don't hurt him, please!

Leave him alone! Don't hurt him!

Stop, I'll go with you! Leave him alone!

Stop now!

You are free to go.

Farewell, great Goddess.

Goodbye.
