The U.A. High School's hero course.

In the present society,

where 80% of the population has some kind of superpower,

this institution was founded to raise heroes that could take on the villains.

And I, Izuku Midoriya, a student of this school,

am always striving for my ideal.

To become someone who can save people with a smile.

This is the story of how I became the greatest hero.

Summer Vacation's Hero Special,

From No.1 Hero to U.A. High School Teacher!

Today we will look back at All Might's achievements and his amazing...

VILLAIN - KUROGIRI QUIRK: WARP GATE

VILLAIN - TOMURA SHIRAGAKI QUIRK: DECAY

I get it now.

The reason why the hero killer pisses me off

and those U.A. brats annoy me.

It's all because of All Might.

The way he stands there smiling,

as if there's no one he couldn't save.

It's that thoughtless smile!

Izuku Midoriya,

quirkless until his third year in middle school,

but then he suddenly manifested one.

This April, he enrolled at the U.A. High School and distinguished himself,

finishing in the top eight at the U.A. sports festival.

And then,

he fought with his friends against Hero Killer Stain in the Hosu incident...

and won.

That time...

his life was saved by the Hero Killer himself.

The boy acknowledged by the Hero Killer, the seeker of true heroes.

The complete opposite of Tomura Shiragaki.

I'll build you one.

A world where All Might doesn't exist.

Then I'll show everyone of you..

just how fragile your so-called "justice" is!

GAME START

All the first semester classes at the U.A. High School have finished,

and summer vacation has started

IZUKU MIDORIYA QUIRK: ONE FOR ALL

But that doesn't mean I can fool around.

To prepare for the training camp,

I continued training by myself.

Can you see that? He's saved at least a hundred already!

It's crazy! In less than 10 minutes!

It's just crazy!

He's laughing hard!

It's fine now.

You know why?

Because I'm here.

All Might.

There are still times when I can't believe

that All Might acknowledged me and transferred his Quirk to me.

DENKI KAMINARI - QUIRK: ELECTRIFICATION MINORU MINETA - QUIRK: POP OFF

Mineta and Kaminari!

Hey, there, Midoriya!

Yeah. Before the training camp!

Excuse us.

What is it, you three?

Mr. Aizawa, about the request we turned in the other day for the pool...

Yes, permission is granted.

-You can use it until 5 p.m. -Yes, sir!

Thank you sir!

It says here you wanted to use the pool to increase physical strength...

Give it your best.

Of course!

Physical training in the pool.

Great idea, Mineta!

Within the school, we can use our Quirks, too.

It's perfect for training!

We're in the hero course, buddy.

To always go beyond! Plus Ultra!

Ultra!

Perfect idea to invite the diligent Midoriya, Mineta.

If it'd been just the two of us, we might not have gotten permission.

By the way, is everything okay with that?

Of course. I overheard it in the classroom.

After the finals...

We have to avoid taking long trips during the summer?

Apparently, it's a request from the school.

Such a shame.

I was going to Venice with my parents.

So burgeois!

That's a bummer! I just bought a new swimsuit.

There's nothing we can do.

After all, we've been attacked by the League of Villains.

But I still want to have fun and go somewhere!

Then, why don't we all meet up at the school pool?

Right, if it's the school's pool, the teachers will give us permission.

That's great! It won't cost anything, either.

Better than staying at home, I guess!

Then I'll go get permission from the school!

And that's that!

There's no choice but to go, then!

Let's discover a new, charming side to girls!

Let's go right now to our newfound paradise!

Guys, you're late!

Hey, hey, wait!

Why are you guys here?

Since we're training at the pool,

I texted everyone and invited them to join us.

So, that's what happened? You're too diligent, Midoriya!

Calm down, Kaminari.

There are definitely girls in swimsuits here!

I'll burn the sight into my eyes!

Those new swimsuits!

Oh, hey Mineta.

You're here, too, Kaminari.

What are those swimsuits, man. Wear a bikini, c'mon.

School swimsuits are not that bad.

I guess everything's fine by you!

Kaminari, Mineta!

What a fine proposition, endurance training at the school!

I'm impressed!

Come! Let's sweat together like men!

Hey! Wait!

Just wait a minute!!

IZUKU MIDORIYA QUIRK: ONE FOR ALL

OCHAKO URARAKA QUIRK: ZERO GRAVITY

Let's go!

Here you go!

There!

Good! Let's take a 15 minute break!

I've brought these for you guys! Drink up!

As you'd expect from the class rep!

I've come back to life. Thanks!

Why are the girls playing?

They got permission to use the pool to sunbathe.

Mineta! Why did you ask to use the pool for physical training?

Because otherwise, we might not have gotten permission!

I can see you've been working out.

I've been training since the beginning of summer vacation!

We must exert our utmost efforts.

Midoriya.

Take a break.

Thank you, Iida.

What is it?

Well... it's kind of funny, really.

When we came to this school,

I didn't think we'd become such good friends.

To tell you the truth, I didn't think much of you back then.

However, during the practical exam...

Smash!!!

...you put saving Uraraka first

over passing the exam.

Saving someone's life.

How can a hero program reject people

who did the right thing?

Come...

Young Midoriya.

This...

is your Hero Academia!

I was so glad.

It's been my dream to attend All Might's alma mater, the U.A.

But when they said whoever was last in the Quirk test would be expelled,

I thought it was over.

But you didn't give up.

Same goes for the combat training.

Detroit...

Smash!

What is it?

An Improvised Special Move! Comet Home Run!

I don't think that's a Home Run!

Retrieved!

This is all I could come up with.

True, your methods were reckless,

but I felt your tenacious spirit.

That's what Bakugo and I lost to.

That's...

I stand here thanks to the help of many.

That's why I need to work even harder!

Of course you do!

Or else, how could I lose to a nerd like you?

Kacchan!

We got your message, sorry for being late!

I took some time to bring Bakugo along.

Business as usual, I guess.

Hey, damn Deku!

We can make things clear right now if you want.

That's not really...

It's true that just training gets boring after a while.

Everyone! Why don't we see who can swim 50 meters the fastest?

-Nice! -That sounds fun!

Let's do this!

-Mr. Iida, can we help as well? -Thanks!

Can we use our Quirks?

I see no problem with that, we're at the school.

However, no damage to buildings or people whatsoever!

I'll crush you, Deku.

The same goes for you, half-guy!

On your marks.

Get set...

Explosive Speed Turbo!

-How was that, you mobs! -"How was that?"

You didn't even swim!

You said freestyle!

On your marks.

Get set...

You have to swim!

On your marks.

Get set...

Iida, you, too?

One For All... Full Cowl!

-Amazing! -That was great, Midoriya!

Iida, so close!

You got me, Midoriya.

You were amazing, as well.

Midoriya.

If it's true that you have something from the number one hero,

I have even more reason to beat you.

To become the best without using my damn father's Quirk,

I'll deny him completely.

You want to win with half of your strength,

but you haven't put a single scratch on me yet.

Come at me with everything you've got!

It's still your power, isn't it?

I want to be a hero, too!

The Hero Killer, Stain.

I'm the brother of the hero you attacked.

The younger brother of a great man.

I'm here to stop you, in his place!

You and your brother, you're both weak.

Because you're fake.

Smash!

I've come to help, Iida!

It's your fault I'm late.

We'll protect him together.

Why... you two...

Why...

Stop it!

I inherited my brother's name!

Please, stop.

I've...

If you want us to stop, stand up!

Pay attention to what you aspire to be!

Todoroki, I vow once again.

I will become a hero like my elder brother.

I'll also become the hero I long to be.

I will, too.

A hero who can save people with a smile, like All Might.

The U.A. was attacked by the League of Villains during a training session.

This became known as the USJ incident.

Indiscriminate attacks by the Hero Killer and the League of Villains in Hosu city.

We called it the Hosu incident.

And the other day,

Tomura Shiragaki, thought to be the leader of the League of Villains,

suddenly appeared before Izuku Midoriya, a student of the hero program.

Since then, there hasn't been any movement in the League of Villains.

But I'm sure they are wriggling just under the surface.

I know.

The police is working alongside heroes to gather intel about the League.

POLICE OFFICER NAOMASA TSUKAUCHI

When this investigation bears fruit, we'll need your help, All Might.

PRO HERO - ALL MIGHT QUIRK: ONE FOR ALL

Of course, Tsukauchi.

The winner of each race, Bakugo, Todoroki, and Midoriya,

will race for first place. Is that okay?

-Yeah. -Right.

Hey, half-guy.

Don't even try to hold back like you did the sports festival.

Give it your all!

All right.

You, too, punk!

Understood, Kacchan.

The 50 meter freestyle final race will begin now!

Come on, Bakugo!

-Don't kill each other, okay? -Todoroki, don't lose!

-Go for it, Deku! -Do your best, guys!

On your marks!

I'll go across at once!

I'll slide it through.

I'll swim with all my strength.

Get set...

-What? -Their Quirks have disappeared?

It's 5 p.m.

Your pool time just ended.

Go home, now.

-Come on, sir! -Things were just getting good!

Did you say something?

Nothing, sir!

Damn it! Interrupting the race like that!

I know how you feel, but calm down.

Midoriya and Todoroki are classmates,

-and friends, right? -Shut it!

No matter who it is, I won't walk alongside anyone, let alone behind them!

Going beyond All Might, beyond the No.1 hero,

that's what matters!

TAKOBA CITY BEACH PARK

There's ten months left until the U.A. admission's exam.

You must strengthen your body!

Young Midoriya?

All Might! Why are you here?

What about you?

Because...

You can become a hero.

I'll tell you the truth, young man.

My Quirk has been passed on like a sacred torch.

The power to transfer power.

That's the Quirk that was passed on to me.

And the name of it is... One For All!

And now, it's your turn!

I'm here because this is where I started.

Young Midoriya, the training camp won't be easy. Do your best!

I will!

The training camp's location was changed?

A precautionary measure in case the information

got to the League of Villains.

Even within the school, only the higher-ups know about this.

Keep this confidential.

Even from the students.

There's something I'd like you to prepare.

Yeah... a new game has begun.

Here's the preview!

The training camp has started.

What appeared in front of us was...

Whoa! A beast!

Next time, "Wild, Wild Pussycats"

Go beyond! Plus Ultra!
