DEVIL'S LAIR

DO NOT LISTEN TO THAT WOMAN!

HELP! THIS HOUSE IS CURSED!

TRAPPED 60 YEARS IN FAE REALM,

WOMAN FINALLY ESCAPED BUT REMAINS YOUTHFUL

60 YEARS IN THE REALM, SHE FINALLY ESCAPED

Zamir, right?

Okay.

Just be calm and casual.

Ask her about your brother.

Let’s just pray that Samira

has a way to find him.

Let's mic you up.

Okay, guys.

Ready?

In

three, two, one,

action!

What lies beneath

the mystery of Autumn Hill?

This cursed hill has seen

the disappearance of many people over the years.

The latest case involves

a 15-year-old teenager, Zaid Hateem

who disappeared

ten days ago under mysterious circumstances.

The beloved younger brother... to Zamir Hateem.

An experienced climber,

has been searching for his brother,

scouring each and every known trail of Autumn Hill.

But until today, nothing has come to fruition.

In 1985, the nation was abuzz

with news that

a woman who went missing

in Autumn Hill 60 years ago

suddenly reappeared.

How true are these claims?

Only the lady herself

may have the answer.

Madam Samira.

Forgive me

if this brings back unpleasant memories.

But what exactly is on that hill?

I think we should just talk about the poor missing boy.

ANOTHER VICTIM OF AUTUMN HILL Based on my calculations,

you should be more than a hundred years old now.

Alis, can you prop up my pillow?

Hold on, ma'am. I'm preparing your medicine.

Hurry up. I want to watch the TV.

Damn it! Are you crazy?

Do you want me to die faster?

I'm sorry, ma'am.

More.

More.

Enough.

I'm sure the government

was doing experiments in the hill.

She must be a test subject

and that’s why she isn’t getting older.

Or she's a fraud.

Is she really a century-old?

If that were true, she should look more like…

Who?

You brat. That mouth of yours.

Careful.

You wanted to say that I'm old?

That she's old like me?

Take your pills, ma'am.

Wait.

Here. Take this money.

A little extra to your pay.

Go and get some new clothes.

Look at this. You have holes in your shirt.

Being poor doesn’t mean you have to look destitute all the time.

I don't want people to see you

and think Ms. Koh has a nice house

but can't pay her maid well.

Is that so?

You are like a daughter to me.

And Ms. Koh’s daughter is nothing if not pretty.

Need to have some class.

Need to be on my level.

Understand?

Go now. Go.

Buy yourself some new clothes.

ARE WE STILL ON FOR TONIGHT?

GET THIS DONE AND THAT'S THE LAST YOU'LL SEE OF HER.

FARID

How did your brother go missing?

When I…

I meant, we...

We were hiking in Autumn Hill and got separated.

I couldn't find him anywhere.

Is that so?

Yes, it's true.

Do not enter Autumn Hill.

Is that all?

Wait.

Is my brother still there?

That's not the point.

That's the only reason I'm here. Are you a fraud?

Do not ask too much.

You may not be prepared for the answer.

We are so dead.

What are we going to do now?

Can you just calm down?

Calm down?

You want me to calm down? This is all your fault.

Can you please shut up? I'm a mess too, so please shut up.

We'll bury him.

Where?

The hill behind the school.

Autumn Hill?

You know the stories about that hill. And you still want to go there?

That is why

we can be sure no one is going to discover the body.

Haziq.

Is everyone ready?

Zamir, the guys are starting to talk.

We've been searching for a week.

You know Autumn Hill is not to be messed with.

Not everyone is brave enough...

What are you thinking of? Come, let's go inside.

Let's take a shower.

I'll get going.

Brother.

Don't take it to heart.

Dad won't be mad for long.

He'll cool down.

What are you doing here?

Just go home. I will return later.

But you're the one who said

if we come together,

we go back together.

Leave no one behind.

You can’t let me go back on my own.

How did you find me then?

You sprinkled the red seeds like I taught you, right?

Just go back using the same trail.

It's fine. I'll keep you company.

I said go home, just go home!

Look out for anyone coming.

Are you pranking me, right now?

I'm tired!

Those brats.

I just buried a guy. Don't make me bury you two as well!

You scums!

You…

Aren't you…

Hey!

POLICE

Alis!

Brother! Quick, Brother!

Brother!

DO NOT LISTEN TO THAT WOMAN! THIS HOUSE IS CURSED!

Zaid?

Zaid? Hey!

Zaid! Hey!

Hey.

Can you shut up?

We're locked up right now.

Do not attract their attention.

Zaid! Hey!

Looking for your stuff?

Can't find it?

My phone is missing too.

They won't let us call for help.

Have you seen my phone?

Miss, are you a content creator too?

What's with you?

So, where are the cameras?

Is this some sort

of an escape room situation?

God is Great!

God is Great!

Hey!

Can you shut up?

What if our captors hear you?

So what?

Let him recite the Adhan.

If they decide to kill us because we're too noisy,

then what?

You want that?

NARANGSA

Hey, open the door!

Another brat.

Hey, open the door!

Have you guys seen my phone?

Zaid!

Zaid?

Zaid?

-Hey. -Zaid!

Hey!

Nice sound effects, am I right?

So serious.

Didn’t you hear what's out there?

And you still want to go out?

Where are we?

The safest place.

And you are?

Are you the one who kidnapped us?

Kidnap?

Granny didn't kidnap you.

Granny is just protecting you from what's out there.

What's out there?

The Master.

The Master?

Narangsa?

Don't say that name!

Do not take his name in vain.

We do not want to anger him.

Enough.

I'm sure you're hungry.

To the dining room, please.

Afterwards,

you can get changed

in the changing room upstairs.

Then you can go to sleep.

Close the gate properly

because

the Master

likes to drop by at night.

Get a good rest.

Mind your manners.

We will be here for a while.

Behind that screen

is a door.

Do not enter.

Two, four,

six, eight.

Is the table prepared for us?

As if we're the 'VIPs'.

She locked us in cages

and now she’s prepared a feast?

Who knows what's in the food.

Aren't you afraid you'll die?

At least with a full belly.

Dig in.

Hey, guys.

How did we get here?

Do you remember

what was the last thing you did?

I remember, Kaira…

I remember

you and I, even in death.

That bamboo forest…

I know my way around this area

but never in my life have I seen the bamboo forest.

And some of them were bent.

Like an archway.

Okay.

Good start.

That means we are still in Autumn Hill.

We just don’t know which part yet.

Just because we are in Autumn Hill,

doesn't mean it's the Autumn Hill that we know.

What do you mean?

Haven’t you heard those old wives' tales?

What does it mean when you see bamboo trees bent into an archway?

I think we are in 'somebody's' house.

Hey, you fool.

This is the woods. There are various animals…

Didn't you see how mad Granny was

when he said its name?

How did you know its name?

It's on the wall in my cell.

And that sound? What animal growls like that?

What are you trying to say? That there’s a monster?

Watch your mouth.

I don’t care. I want to leave. This woman is right.

She put us in cages,

fed us, and made us stay.

I don’t know what that growl was.

But I know about the cells.

Those are prison cells.

And all of us were in there, so does that mean we're prisoners?

I get that, but it’s late.

Whatever is out there

could be more dangerous than what's in here.

Hey, idiot. Did you notice that the padlocks had no keys?

How did they suddenly unlock?

Hey, you scum.

I don't know you

but from the way you speak,

I can tell you have never dealt with a woman like me.

If you want to keep your tongue,

use it wisely.

Enough or you two will get it from me!

We should be thinking about our next step!

-You two are idiots. -Whatever.

I've lost my appetite dealing with you pigs.

I agree with you.

It’s not safe to be out in the woods at night.

We'll find our way out tomorrow.

I know this hill.

-I'm Alis. -I'm Zamir.

Oh my God, I know you!

Your brother went missing in Autumn Hill!

By the way, have you seen

the hashtag that went viral? #PrayForZaid?

I started it.

For your information, thousands of people shared it.

You're in this show too?

Interesting.

I vote we stay. What about the rest?

Fine.

I'll come with you.

One thing though.

Do you think he can lead us?

If he can, why did his brother go missing?

I think this is the changing room.

Okay.

If anybody needs to change, go ahead.

Why? My clothes are fine.

I need you to do this.

Find bright-coloured fabrics like this.

We will use it to mark our path tomorrow.

Their production value is not bad.

Look, these are all clothes from different time periods.

Good. You can play dress-up.

Focus. Find those fabrics.

Nobody wants to break character. I get it.

You love it when people like you, don’t you?

But…

But why, in order to make people love you,

you make them hate me?

Hey!

What are you doing here?

Granny said not to go in there.

Don't touch me.

I don't want to be in this game show anymore.

-It's not fair. -This is not a movie set.

This is not a game show.

You have to realise

that all of this is real.

Okay. So, when you yelled your brother's name,

when we were in the cells,

did you see him?

I don't want to be here!

-Where are we? -Malia!

You're Malia, right?

We’ll find our way out tomorrow.

I’ve read that hikers never leave anyone behind.

So, you promise, right?

Alis and I have checked.

Granny's not home.

Where did she go?

It's not important. This is our chance.

Salim, do you hike?

Often.

Okay. Here's the plan.

I will guide and Salim will be the 'sweeper'.

That means

nobody should be behind him.

We will mark our path and the trees with the fabrics we found last night.

Autumn Hill

has one particular peak.

I use that peak as a landmark to tell the direction.

If we find the peak, I might be…

I might be able to get us out of here.

Don't get separated.

What's wrong?

He was going somewhere else. We agreed not to separate.

I didn’t even grab you that hard.

I didn't hurt you, right?

Enough.

Is your hand okay?

Hey.

Do you know where we are now?

So,

what now?

See that peak?

That is the one I was talking about.

So, you know where we are?

Since I started hiking here,

the mouth of the peak always faced me.

But now,

we're at the hill's back.

Meaning?

If you ask me,

to reach the back, takes at least three days of hiking.

How did we end up here in a day?

Okay, I think we should head back now.

The sun is setting.

Okay.

How about this?

You can go first. We have marked the path.

All you need to do is trace the markers back to the mansion.

Salim,

you can lead them, right?

Hold on. You said it yourself.

If it gets late, we'll all go back.

Why break your own rule?

This guy just wants to look for his brother.

He dragged us out here not to find the exit but to find his brother. Right?

You lost your brother.

Do not drag us into it as well.

What is this?

His leg.

His leg.

Help me down.

Haikal.

Haikal!

-Let's go. -Wait.

-We can't leave him. -Do you want to stay here with him?

Do not touch me. I don't know you.

Let's leave. Come on!

-Move. -Go!

-Help me. -Move!

Help!

Alis!

Okay.

What should I do?

My leg, Alis.

Okay.

Pull it out, Alis!

I am trying.

Pull it out!

What did I say?

Do not leave the house, right?

Please help him.

His leg.

It's done. Come on.

Guys.

Guys, what was that?

I told you.

This is not the Autumn Hill that we know.

Hey, preacher.

Do you think we have time for ghost stories?

Mind your manners when you are here.

Granny,

this isn't Autumn Hill, right?

That sound just now…

When you enter someone's house,

step in with your right foot.

You are being disrespectful to the Master.

But there is a way to placate him.

Bring him a gift.

In the morning,

you must go to Morning Dew Cave.

Whatever that you see in there, kill it

and bring it back here.

That shall be your gift to him.

Kill?

Do you not want to leave?

Here,

if you refuse to be guests,

then you are prisoners.

So, if you want to leave,

kill what you see in Morning Dew Cave.

The moment the sun rises tomorrow,

go into the woods,

and look for weapons.

But if we don’t know what to kill,

how do we know what weapons to look for?

You will know.

What is this place?

-Do you understand what I mean now? -So?

-Do you want to turn cuckoo like her? -That mouth.

Watch it.

That mass grave.

Who died there?

That's where animals keep the carcasses.

-Carcasses or corpses? -I was in there, not you.

It's normal for things like this to happen in the woods.

Let's just go to bed.

We'll try again tomorrow.

Alis.

Thank you

for coming back to save me.

I know how it feels.

To be left alone

to die.

Hey.

Do you think that the cleric is right?

That's not important.

What matters is we need to leave.

Do you remember when I wanted to go into the Forbidden Room?

I think this place

is making us see things.

I heard somebody’s voice inside.

I know that person

but that person is dead.

So, maybe, when you saw your brother here,

-he is also... -Hey!

We're in the woods.

Strange things happen here.

That's not important. We just need to focus

and don't pay much heed.

Got it?

What is that?

Hey.

This wood.

Someone must have cut it.

That means there's a campsite.

Hey, the campsite is here!

Hello?

Hello?

Hello?

Nobody's here.

Okay.

Everybody, split into groups.

Search the tents.

Find things we can use.

Hurry up!

Give this to me. Find another.

Could be a child's tent.

Why would anyone keep river stones?

Guys.

Guys.

Great.

-Is there a signal? -No.

-How can it be? -It's locked.

Let's check it out.

Give it to me.

BECAUSE I'M A PRINCESS. THAT'S WHY. YOU GO, GIRL.

This is my phone.

I told you.

We need to stop denying it.

How could Malia's phone end up here?

Maybe this is what Granny means.

She wants us to find our weapons here.

Are these our weapons?

Do the red seeds mean anything to you?

You've received a sign from this place.

Do not fight it.

Listen to the woods.

In all the times I've hiked in Autumn Hill,

I never knew there was a cave here.

I know you guys are scared.

Just like me, I don't know what's in there.

I don't think the 'thing' in there

would follow us voluntarily to the mansion.

No.

I want all of you to be ready

not just here,

but in here too.

Okay?

We have to be confident that God will help us.

If we believe He exists,

we have to believe the opposite exists too.

If there's no darkness,

we won't understand light.

Anybody found anything that can be used against

whatever's in the cave?

This.

I found river stones.

What for? To stone it to death?

Prophet Ibrahim drove away a djinn with stones.

There must be a reason he found them.

I found this.

Put that away!

Good.

Let's get this over with then go back.

Okay?

Hey, where are you guys?

Hey!

Adi, there are no river stones.

Is that for me?

Adi!

Bring it here. You said you would teach me.

Zaid.

What kind of tough guy gets scared?

You pretend you're so brave.

But you cry when pranked.

Guys?

Guys?

Where are you? Didn't we agree not to split up?

HI. I'VE FOLLOWED YOU FOR A WHILE. CAN WE BE FRIENDS?

Don't jump!

Oh my God.

I just wanted to get to know you.

I had no bad intentions.

But…

But why did you make people think

that I'm a bad guy?

"Girls,

beware of stalkers like this.

Hashtag…

#GirlsMustStickTogether".

You had more than 17,000 reposts.

17,000 reposts...

They all think I'm a bad guy.

No.

I was just trying to remind others.

You love it when people like you, don’t you?

But…

But why, in order to make people love you,

you make them hate me?

You should have just killed me

instead of humiliating me so.

Sani.

What are you waiting for?

Sani.

There is no place for us in this world.

But at least,

you have me.

And I

have you, right?

Only we, understand each other best.

You can do it.

Hey, guys.

Where are you?

Sir, hello?

Sir, can you hear me?

Yes, I just got the chance to call.

I think they've left.

There were two of them.

A man and a woman.

Yes.

Come quickly.

Sir?

Some people broke into my house.

Yes, two of them.

But one of them

is someone I know.

What?

Are you going to beat me to death?

Do it

before I tell the entire school.

You're here because of me.

Kill me again.

Let's see where you will be then.

Please.

Hang in there.

Just kill me.

You've already left me anyway.

Just kill me.

Kill me!

If you want to leave,

kill the 'thing' in Morning Dew Cave.

Hey!

Hey, who knows how to treat wounds?

Anyone?

Anyone?

Where are you going?

To the campsite.

I need a first aid kit. My brother…

-He's inside. -He is not in there.

Did anyone do what Granny asked?

Did anyone kill what they saw?

Are you guys done?

Let’s go.

Why is this place doing this to me?

I know I did something wrong.

I've regretted it ever since.

What exactly did you do?

A while ago,

my girlfriend got pregnant.

But…

after the kid was born,

she left me just like that.

Since then,

every time I looked at the baby,

I got angry.

I was full of hate.

I wanted to kill the baby

because I hated my girlfriend so much.

One day, I fed the kid,

but I put rat poison in the milk.

I watched him die in agony.

Is this hell?

It's not our place to say if we deserve heaven or hell.

If only I could speak to God…

You would do anything?

Anything, Haikal. Anything.

Is it true?

Am I really an emissary of God?

If you wish to receive His blessings,

you must give an offering to Him.

I have done what the Master asked.

So, can I leave now?

Bring him and follow me.

Just one more test.

Come in.

You're the chosen one, right?

Be confident.

You must face your sins in this place.

You are a murderer!

If you want to stay here, be my guest.

But, I want to leave.

Naughty kids like you

must be taught a lesson.
