My Lord,

he murdered dozens of women and children.

His crimes are unforgivable.

Zhao Jia's heart is truly corrupted.

Purifying his dark thoughts

has exhausted me greatly.

I know it's hard for you,

but since Your Divine Majesty returned,

something went wrong.

Your Divine Heart is shattered.

You must consume human hearts

on every full moon.

Even if you hate it,

you have to swallow it.

You're the Mountain Deity of Xiyuan.

If something happened to you,

what would happen to Jin Tong and me?

And what would happen to the people

who believe in you and need your protection?

Am I still a Mountain Deity

in this state?

Of course.

As long as the Ten Directions Candle burns,

you'll always be the Mountain God.

But in this world,

which Mountain God

would kill and take hearts?

I only take the hearts of evildoers.

You've killed them,

so you're doing the people a favor.

What exactly happened

during the heavenly tribulation a hundred years ago?

A hundred years ago, Yuanjun descended for trials,

leaving me and Jin Tong to guard the mountain.

As for what exactly happened,

no one knows.

Ji Jiu broke into the Purgation Pool last night.

He must have uncovered something.

Then...

should I take his life

to prevent future troubles?

No!

My Lord, don't be soft.

You don't

have to do this.

I'll end him myself.

The prophecy has foretold

you are my doom.

But I was too soft

and too complacent,

leading to this situation.

I don't care who you are

or what you want.

As long as you die,

the tribulation will end.

Yuanjun.

The lamp...

The lamp...

Yuanjun, look,

the lamp is lit.

I am your disciple now.

You can't kill me.

Yuanjun,

didn't you say you would do it yourself?

His Ten Directions Candle is lit.

How could this be?

He's now my follower.

I can't kill him.

Since you can't do it yourself,

let me serve you.

Forget it.

No need to kill on the Mountain Worship Festival.

I'll deal with him when I return.

The Mountain Worship Festival is coming.

You should go down the mountain early.

Jade Maiden, come with me.

Golden Boy,

stay here and watch him.

Yuanjun,

I want to go to the Mountain Worship Festival too.

Can I go this time?

Jade Maiden knows the rituals well.

Besides,

I have something important to tell her.

Don't be childish.

Mind the shop.

Jade Maiden and I are from the same root.

But every time, she's the only one taken.

Yuanjun is biased.

Not biased.

It's a secret you can't know.

Do you know why I'm locked here?

Because I know the secret.

[Take a look!]

[New jade hairpins!]

[Sugar-coated haws!]

[Come and take a look!]

[Miss.]

[Come and see the new hairpins.]

[All carved with mountain patterns.]

[Wearing them can earn the blessing]

[of the Mountain Goddess and grant wishes.]

[And these candles]

[are blessed by the Mountain Goddess.]

[They can ward off evil.]

Pretty?

Yes.

Pay up.

Thank you.

[Sugar-coated haws!]

Mountain Goddess, please bless me

to win that little wooden dog.

[Come and have a look!]

How can the Mountain Goddess

hear you if you say it like that?

Follow me.

Mountain Goddess, please help me.

Mountain Goddess, please help me.

Thank you, Mountain Goddess.

She has answered my prayers today.

She's the best goddess in the world.

Just ring the bell and make a wish,

and she'll hear you

through the sound of the bell.

Thank you.

Take care.

I want to make a wish too.

Here.

If they want to make a wish, fine.

If you have a wish,

just tell me.

No need for a prayer bell.

I only have one wish,

that you can

transcend the tribulation.

I heard you.

Let's hang it together.
