Maya...

have you decided?

Yeah.

Today is the Day of Benediction?

The day when the Six Saint Beasts are nominated.

But we are not going to the Holy Summit.

We're leaving Heaven, right?

It's okay. I understand.

The story that you told me about our birth yesterday was a shock, but I'm fine now.

I'll follow you, Kira nii-san.

But... But...!

Maya.

We won't be able to see everyone else any more.

Don't cry. There'll be a day when we'll meet again.

Really?

Yeah, definitely.

The sun will rise soon.

Let's go say our goodbyes to everyone.

No, it's fine.

If I meet them now, I won't be able to leave since I'm sad.

Won't you regret it?

No. Don't worry.

Then shall we go?

Yeah.

Please, don't erase the dream of an angel who learned what love is.

Episode 4 Birth of the Six Saint Beasts

Goh!

Gai.

You're going to the Holy Summit, right?

I thought you'd let me know. That's not very nice.

Going on ahead alone...

Truthfully, I thought it would be nice to go up with everyone else,

but I'm sure everyone has their own plans.

That's why I didn't call them.

You're right.

Shiva is a bit weird lately.

Judas has also been thinking of something lately.

Isn't that Luca and Rey?

Wait.

All those two are good at is flying in the sky.

They have the ability to get to the summit quickly.

If we call them, they have to stay at our pace.

Just let them go ahead of us.

I see. We let them get ahead, eh?

Well, yeah.

Don't you want to become a Six Saint Beast no matter what?

Those words aren't really right.

Since the Six Saint Beasts appear to be above the high rank angels,

so they're closer to God.

It's a desirable position but I don't want to surpass my companions.

That sounds like you, Goh.

Is it?

But, let's keep up and reach the summit.

Although, it seems like a place difficult to reach.

Yeah.

According to legend, the Holy Summit is made up of three levels.

Let's see... like the Ice Corridor and Rocky Area of Flame?

Yeah,

First level:

The Rocky Area of Flame spreads out across a large cave...

and the heat of the lava covers the entire surface to block intruders.

If you pass the Rocky Area of Flame, the Ice Corridor awaits.

They say the intensely cold air freezes everything.

And the Eternal Darkness.

The darkness that sucks in all the light is said to drive trespassers into madness.

I've heard of it but it's still amazing.

Yeah,

But isn't it the right place to try out our newly grown powers?

Yeah. We'll do our best not to fall behind the others.

Of course. Now, let's go.

The human world is below that cloud, eh...

Yeah.

If we jump between the clouds, we can descend to the human world.

From here...

But this will also cause us pain.

If only we have the "Spring of Life's Tears"...

No, Maya.

You should know too.

That spring is too dangerous.

I know.

Are you afraid to descend?

No, it's okay... since I've already decided.

And also you'll come with me.

Yeah.

Kira! Maya!

Judas-san.

Thank goodness I caught you in time.

So you're really going?

More importantly, why are you here?

I was worried about you guys. Here, take this.

Is this....?!

The Spring of Life's Tears.

If you have this, you can go down to earth safely.

You went to the Spring of Life?

For us?

It would've been difficult getting to the Spring of Life.

As I am right now, this is the only thing I can do.

Thank you.

Even when we were in Heaven, you've always taken care of us siblings.

We haven't really thanked you properly.

Judas-san...

Take care.

Don't make your brother worry.

Yeah. Don't worry.

Judas-san, you become one of the Six Saint Beasts, okay.

Be good to each other on the human world too.

I too will be at Heaven...

What's wrong?

That was Shin's scream.

I didn't hear it.

Me neither.

No. It definitely came from there.

Go.

But...

I'm sure something happened to Shin!

We're fine so go quickly!

Sorry..

Let's meet again.

Let's go, Maya.

Nii-san...

Even though I said I didn't want to see everyone before leaving...

Yeah.

But I'm glad I got to see Judas in the end.

It's right for me now. Really.

I see.

Nii-san.

Now, let's go.

To the road where we should go.

Even though angels are immortal but if their hearts are dug out...

Judas!

Don't tell me you're from the Forest of Darkness...

Yeah.

I'm Agrida who became a monster by Zeus' wrath.

Why are you here?!

It's none of your business.

Hand over Shin!

How dare you...

How dare you do that to Shin!

Be gone!

Are you okay, Shin?

I was careless.

He was down. So, when I came close to see what had happened...

The cut is poisoned.

Judas, don't worry about me and get to the summit...

Idiot! Do you think I'll just leave you here?

But!

Enough and shut up.

I'll draw out the poison right now.

If only by doing this, the scar would heal...

How is it? I sucked out all of the poison. You should be okay.

Thank you, Judas.

But, how did the monster from the Forest of Darkness come to be on sacred ground?

Maybe there's someone who showed him the way.

Even though I don't know who that is....

Don't push yourself. I'll help you to your room.

Then you'll have no time to go to the summit. I'm fine. I'll go with you.

That's impossible in your condition.

No.

I'd rather die than stop you from getting to the summit.

Shin...

If you don't become a Six Saint Beast...

who will?

Amazing.

So this is the Rocky Area of Flame.

Hell might be a place like this.

That's amazing, Goh!

Now, Gai!

We did it!

Now, let's go quickly.

This should be the Ice Corridor beginning here.

Yeah, I can feel the cold air from here.

If we go like this, our wings will be frozen.

We go by foot.

Yes.

It's cold, it's cold.

This place is beautiful but it's too cold.

There's time when it's cruel because it's beautiful.

If we don't pass here quickly, we'll turn out like them.

I don't want to become like that. Let's go quickly, Goh!

Look out!

They're icicles formed by the ages but I guess they're not stable.

It looks like they can break even from a little shock.

Then, we can bring them down first.

What?

Here I go!

How's this?

I would like to say "good job" but...

Luca!

They're coming down!

There's the exit!

Hurry.

The exit will be sealed off.

Yes!

Are you okay?

It's just a little more until the summit.

Yes.

Let's jump, Shin.

Yes.

Judas.

I'm fine. Let's hurry.

Because of me, you're having an unnecessary burden. I'm sorry.

What are you talking?

If I wasn't here, you wouldn't have become this exhausted.

Don't think like that.

But..

Before coming here, I went to the Spring of Life.

To such a dangerous place?!

For a normal angel, it would have drained his energy until he wouldn't be able to move.

Why didn't you tell me?

For not being able to notice that, ...

I knew you would say that and blame yourself.

I didn't want you to get unnecessary worries since you're injured.

Of course.

This is the place called the Summit of Trial which tests the angels' power.

The Summit of Trial, huh?

But that doesn't mean it only tests one's power.

It tests the bond between you and I.

Won't it be nice to think it's that kind of a place?

Judas.

Now, let's go.

Both of us will reach the summit.

Yes.

What's this place?

Judas should already be up ahead. I should hurry.

Are you okay, Shin?

This is...

This is...?

Shin!

Judas, what's this?!

This is an illusion.

An illusion created from our exhaustion and the weakness in our heart.

Our heart?

Brace yourself. Throw away your fear.

We'll combine our strength and defeat the weakness in our hearts!

Yes!

Amazing.

Yeah.

We did it! We finally arrived to the summit.

It's so exciting.

Yeah. We finally did it.

We are late.

Judas.

What were you doing?

You're finally here, candidate angels for the Six Saint Beasts.

I've seen everything.

Everything from the beginning to the end.

Therefore, the Six Saint Beasts will be nominated amongst the seven people.

First, Judas.

As the leader of Six Saint Beasts, I will give you the name Kirin.

Next is Luca.

Yes.

You will be Houou.

Goh will be Seiryuu.

Shin, you'll be Genbu.

Rei will be Suzaku.

And finally Gai...

You are Byakko.

Please wait! You are forgetting about me.

I didn't forget.

Because you cannot be a Six Saint Beast.

Why?!

Didn't you say you'll confer according to the order we arrive at the summit on that day?

Then...

Shiva, you should know the reason best, right?

I've already said it

I've seen everything.

To those who became the Six Saint Beasts, I'll bestow upon you new power.

New...

power?

To Goh: the sword of Seiryuu.

To Shin: the shield of Genbu.

To Rei: the wings of Suzaku.

To Gai: the armor of Byakko.

And Judas the Kirin, to you the power to heal by lips.

To Luca of Houou, the power to read the mind with your fingertips.

Now, receive it.

Six Saint Beasts came like this.

They were served under Gods, as the eternal road of Earth.

But the same time it made angels ignite the flame of love and hatred.

At the time, nobody knew the war in Heaven crept up to them.
