[First Choice] [EP01]

Huo Ling.

Let me go.

We're divorced.

Him?

That's why?

Not your concern.

Already trying to shake me off?

Yes.

We're even now.

Bai Luo'an.

We're not even, and I won't

let my daughter call someone else dad.

Stop it.

[Director Xie's gone all out for this.]

[Half of Ning city's VIPs are here]

[just to see Huo Ling,]

[the Junyue Group heir.]

[He's truly extraordinary.]

[I've heard that he's Chairman Huo's]

[only son, super smart]

[and decisive.]

But he disappeared after

going abroad 5 years ago.

Now he's back and

bought Dejia for a fortune.

Director Xie's just trying to

avoid crossing the wrong guy.

[Xie Boyang,]

[Dejia Art Center's director,]

[blindly expanded,]

[causing financial issues.]

[He's been accused of]

[misusing charity funds,]

[latest by...]

By

Bai...

Bai Luo'an.

[Isn't that Bai Luo'an from]

[Yuexin?]

[Director Xie ended]

[the deal.]

[Why is she here?]

Director Xie, mind if I join?

Not at all.

Glad you're here.

It seems my team has dropped the ball.

I'll punish them later.

No need for that.

I hope you can continue to

support Yuexin Healing's projects.

Depends

how sincere you are about it.

I know a great spot.

It's Mr. Huo.

Snap it, snap it.

Little gal.

You alright?

Thank you, sir.

I'm fine.

Go.

Mr. Huo.

Party's starting.

Take care of those photos.

Yes.

[Heard he's been divorced for 5 years,]

[still hasn't found someone to remarry.]

[What kind of woman could]

[possibly match up to him?]

Hello everyone,

I'm Huo Ling from Junyue.

Let's talk about Dejia's future.

When you think of Dejia,

what comes to mind first?

Niche, sophisticated art,

or a failing city landmark?

Bai.

You look stunning today.

Director Xie,

you halted Yuexin Healing

to get me in bed?

Yes.

[I had to get tough]

[to make you]

[come around, huh?]

The diverse artistic business models.

We eagerly await

Dejia to energize Junyue's

business with art.

[Bai.]

[You look stunning today.]

[Director Xie,]

[you halted Yuexin Healing]

[to get me in bed?]

Bai Luo'an?

[I had to get tough]

[come around.]

I'm the one who

decides how and where

Dejia's money is spent.

What's wrong? You're already here.

Aren't you ready yet?

Come on.

Stop it.

Xie!

You set me up?

[Luo'an.]

Since you lit up my world,

I've vowed to

love and protect you

forever.

Who was it?

Mr. Huo.

She seduced me.

You can save

those words for the police.

And by the way,

you're fired.

Mr. Huo, it's a misunderstanding.

It was...

Mr. Huo.

Thank you

for earlier.

You really haven't changed at all.

Still so good at manipulating men.

But your taste has worsened,

even going for someone like that.

If your goal was just to humiliate me,

you succeeded.

Humiliate?

Goal?

Bai Luo'an, do

-you know... -[Mom!]

Zhao.

Zhao.

Why are you here by yourself?

Little gal.

You alright?

Thank you, sir.

I'm fine.

She's your daughter?
