"Episode 11 Reengage"

Aren't you just the bone of the phoenix that Sheng Lingyuan sealed off in Chiyuan?

Stop spewing nonsense!

This guy came here on such an obvious thing?

What if it becomes a news headline? Who do we blame then?

I need to lure him away.

Hey, fatty, create a chat group! Add those guys from Aeolus!

Stop sleeping! Even the demon is awake and causing a ruckus right now!

I need to buy some time.

Hey, what was that about Chiyuan and phoenix bone?

What does it have to do with the Human Emperor?

You don't even know what you are, yet you're risking your life for Lingyuan?

I... It's not like what you think.

The Nanming Valley.

Three thousand years ago, Chiyuan was known as the Nanming Valley.

It was the boundary between the territories of humans and fiends,

and had been under the protection of the phoenix for generations.

When weird disasters occurred one after another, the world fell into chaos.

The Fiend King took the chance to slaughter all the phoenixes,

crossed the boundary, and invaded the human realm

with an army of 1,000,000 fiends.

From then on, the Nanming Valley ceased to exist,

and people came to know it as the hellfire on earth, Chiyuan.

But that's just the beginning.

After seizing Chiyuan, the Fiend King found out that the energy from Chiyuan...

...was able to buff the strength of almost every tribe,

except for those humans who couldn't absorb energy from their surroundings.

So as long as the flame of Chiyuan continues to burn,

those tribes will have unlimited energy.

So you're saying that Chiyuan is the source of the supernatural energy?

Supernatural?

After the Human Emperor killed the Fiend King,

he used everything at his disposal to seal off the flame of Chiyuan.

He made 36 Fire Seals from the remains of the phoenixes to seal off Chiyuan.

You, the Nanming Firekeeper, are a spirit born of the Fire Seals.

If anything happens to Chiyuan, you'll need to risk your life to suppress it.

That is your fate.

You've been destined to be a sacrifice since the moment you existed.

That's my oversight. I guess I do have a debt to pay to this Nanming Firekeeper.

No wonder I was woken up from death.

That guy is the last barrier of Chiyuan.

Aluojin?

That's just who Brother Lingyuan is.

He's the best brother, and the cruelest emperor.

You're just like me, a chess piece he can sacrifice at any time.

Aren't you mad at him? I'm sure you feel conflicted, just like me!

Brother Lingyuan... Sheng Lingyuan!

Can you back up your claim with scientific evidence?

I'm sure you heard about this from someone else.

Do you know the one who summoned you? Why do you trust him that much?

Even if all this is true, the mastermind who wants to rekindle Chiyuan's flame...

...simply wants to use you for his own agenda.

You've been deceived many times in life,

why are you so naive after death?

You wouldn't understand my feelings.

The human world's prosperity is built upon my people's sacrifices.

What have they done to deserve such prosperity and peace?

Wait, I've not finished talking!

I won't be able to make it!

Pause for one second!

They're finally here.

We're here, Captain Xuan!

Good! Let's lure him away from the urban area.

All right! Come with me to the south!

This is...?

There's another spell on top of the Shadow Record!

The Shadow Record was used to track the mastermind, and the spell will attack him.

This is a chained trap!

Someone activated the Lightning spell, but right now...

How do I operate this machine?

The perpetrator has escaped.

Based on the damage to the building, he may be carrying lethal weapons.

What do we do? Do we report to our superior?

One disaster after another...

Don't panic!

Get back!

Isn't that Captain Xuan's sword spirit?

We've found a suspect that could be an accomplice.

It seems he's not in a stable mental state--requesting backup!

Freeze!

What do we do? Who should we contact?

As always, if we can't decide, ask our superiors.

The lightning is about to strike!

What was that?

Something came into me and left just now!

Agents other than Lightning type, retreat...

"Luo Cui Cui"

Darn you, Aftermath Response Team!

What's going on? I can't reach him during an emergency. What do we do?

Put your hands up!

I asked you to put your hands up, not to answer a question in class!

What do you usually do in these situations?

Don't panic, I'm simply transferring my voice into your ear.

Just answer softly, I can hear you.

Usually we use Reverberating Sound to deal with this.

It's a special sound wave produced by a Mind type power...

...that can quickly modify one's memories.

Then why aren't you using it now?

Without Bi around, we can't use it.

Besides, there are too many people here,

that will put too much strain on the caster's mind.

It's all right, I can do it.

Qianru, what are you doing?

Stop asking and wear the earbuds.

Cast the spell.

"Cast the spell"? More like "dig my grave."

None of you saw anything just now.

You can stop the spell now.

Impressive! What brand is Captain Xuan's sword? It's powerful!

I'll leave the rest to you.

--This sword is so intelligent. He must have gone off to protect Captain Xuan.

--Hurry up, we need to take care of the scene. Yang, help me out! --This sword is so intelligent. He must have gone off to protect Captain Xuan.

--Hurry up, we need to take care of the scene. Yang, help me out! --He must have gone off to protect Captain Xuan.

"Dongzhou Forest Park"

Captain Xuan, why isn't your sword with you?

I sold it as scrap metal!

Don't do that. We all have to tolerate each other in life. What else can you do?

Watch out, Captain Xuan!

Nice!

Thanks, but can you tell me where this is? A forest park?

Hello? Did you forget that I have Fire powers?

I was heading toward the direction of the lake!

He and his sense of direction...

Take this!

Get in the car!

The bloody holes on him are his energy cores.

Take this!

Nice shot, boss!

What the heck is this thing?

Captain Xuan, try burning him.

I'll put out the fire even if you ignite a few trees.

No way! We're too close to the city.

Why is he so strong?

Give me a pistol. Wang, brake!

Wang, do me a favor: cover the bullets I fire with water.

What?

Make sure not to let any sparks come out.

Dongzhou's GDP is close to 200,000,000; none of us could afford the compensation.

As the best Water type power user in Aeolus, I trust you!

But I don't trust myself! Hey!

Firekeeper.

Wang Ze!

Give me some water!

You're just a sacrifice. Why would you go to such lengths to protect humans?

Why don't you be a sacrifice to rekindle Chiyuan's flame instead?

Boss, we ran out of mineral water!

Think of something!

You're so bold! You...

Captain Xuan, if you have Parkinson's disease, you should treat it!

You're firing again? Give me some water!

Use this!

I'll rekindle the flame of Chiyuan!

You're mistaken on one thing.

Are you crazy?

Captain Xuan managed to trap the demon.

So the bullets act as the base for the array.

The origin of the Firekeepers, whether I'm being used or not...

I can't control any of that.

The human world.

I kept feeling like I didn't belong there.

Son, don't worry.

But the human world is still important to me.

Whatever I choose to protect,

the choice is mine to make!

Seal!

If Chiyuan started burning again,

Dongzhou could be restored to its former glory.

The mountain will create a new tribe of Wu people.

As long as...

As long as everything is restored...

Everyone has things they want to protect,

but who could ever protect everyone?

Captain Xuan, how do we deal with this?

Who knows? This is the only array I know,

and moving the base will cause it to break.

The backlash is terrifying.

Let's contact the Center and ask them to deal with it.

Hello, this is Zhang Zhao from Aeolus Team One. Hello?

Is the signal...

It's a rune.

I'm done for!
