I will read some extracts
from my manuscript

describing the later outrages,

pursuit, and death of
Daniel Morgan.

I am stationed here at
Beechworth

in the colony of Victoria.

After being engaged in
the pursuit

and present with the
police party

at the death of Morgan
at Peechelba Station

on the ninth day of April

in this year of our
lord, 1865.

of their husbands and children
being cruelly murdered.
