[Ever Night 2]

[Episode 21]

Your highness, we have held Eunuch Wang's servants. We are waiting for your command.

Kill them! Kill them all!

Don't leave a single one alive.

They dare try and kill me?

I think they are all tired of living!

They want to kidnap me?

Hunyuan, everything is fine now.

Today, return back to your palace and have a good rest.

Tomorrow, we still have great things to do.

Impearial Sister, have you already seen the roayal decree?

Princess of Jian, Li yu is announcing

the will of the previous Emperor!

Third Prine Li Hunyuan

is respectful of others, responsible, capable and intelligent.

He is qualified to pass down the legacy.

hence, the heir to the throne is the Third Prince,

Li Hunyuan. End of edict.

Royal son Li Hunyuan is grateful for this edict.

I, Li Peiyan asks to see the previous emperor once.

Bring in the previous emperor's treasured sword.

Seeing the sword is like seeing the person.

Upon seeing the previous emperor, why aren't any of you kneeling?

Long live the king.

Empress Mother, let me watch over Emperor Father instead.

At that time, when I was beside your Emperor Father

I was really happy.

Then I will join Empress Mother in watching over him.

General Ma arrives!

Invite him in.

Greetings, Your Highnesses.

General Ma, please quickly rise.

Your Highness, the news of His Majesty's death

We have informed the capital about his Majesty's death.

but there is no news from the capital.

I think the young prince should quickly

return to the capital as soon as possible.

Fu Zi and his Majesty both passed away.

Xiling Shrine and nearby States

have been wanting to take action.

In this situation, we must plan this out for His Majesty.

Until the situation is clear,

we can not make any rash decision.

In this case, I will personally head back to the capital to gather information.

No!

Wei City can not go a day with out a general, General Ma.

I can not go day without a King.

Empress

If we stay an extra day

it will be an extra day of danger.

Protecting Wei City and

the people of Tang is more important than me getting the throne, General Ma.

Stay at Wei City and defend, General Ma.

Send one of your man to gather information.

I will do as you order.

Ah!

Teacher

Sang Sang

-General Xu.-Lord Zeng.

Before the court meeting I went to the Academy.

But Tang Academy is not meeting anyone.

Official Zhong go on.

Every since Fuzi went to the sky

There's no one to lead the Acadamy.

I do not think the issue come from Tang Academy.

It comes from South Faction.

Since the royal decree came from the South Faction.

Then Li Qingshan must know some thing.

But the late king's handwriting and seal is real.

There is no trails of forging.

You and I are regular people. Of course we can not forge a royal decree.

But Li Qingshan and his students

are no ordinary people.

You are trying to say that a cultivator in the South Faction broke the rule.

And interfered with human's business?

How else can we explain.

Would the late King pass the throne to.

What do think?

He is a loser.

Ming Chi, what's this...

We want to see the State Preceptor.

Yes.

You are late.

Teacher passed away last night.

What?

What...

Please enter.

His Majesty and Princess have arrive.

Your Majesty.

At ease.

Your Majesty, please stay here.

When did you discover it?

Your highness, last night.

Last night?

But last night, the State Preceptor is still...

Teacher has been sick for a while.

After His Majesty came last night,

Teacher passed away.

Your Highness came here at night.

Is it because of the royal decree?

I am the Princess.

Do I have to report to you first?

Of course no. We simply just think that

After handing the royal decree to the Princess, he passed away.

There is too much coincidence.

What are you implying? You are discussing the court matters and

Slandering the Princess.

Even the heaven knows my loyalty to the Tang Empire, Your Highness.

Say no more. Servant!

What is the meaning of this, Your Majesty?

Take him out and beat him 50 times.

-Yes. -Yes.

Your Highness

Lord He, do you have any other questions?

I do not dare.

Please pardon me if I offend you, Your Highness.

Don't be so humble, Lord He.

I know you are close with Hunyuan.

But starting today, you must stay away from him.

He is no longer the Royal Son of Tang.

He is the King of Tang.

You don't get to speak to him.

-Commander Xu - Yes.

Let's head back.

Greeting to the King of Tang.

At ease.

What did my sister tell you?

Her highness was telling me to help with your work.

She didn't need to bother.

Your Majesty, there's something that needs your decision.

Teacher died.

You will be the Monastery Leader of the Heavenly Daothe South Faction.

I will write down an order once I get back.

-Thank you, your Majesty.-However...

It's "Me, the King", your Majesty.

Yes, me, the King.

Father.

The king of Tang Li Zhongyi has died.He passed down his throne to Li Hunyuan.

God bless our nation.

Fu Zi went to the sky, the King of Tang died.

This is the best timing to attack Tang.

You're right, father. The dumbass Li Hunyuan is the king now.

Tang is dying.

We only need to push it a little bit.

How is Long Qing?

Long Qing had just taken over the Golden Horde.

Now he is heading south with the Golden Horde's army.

He will make you step down.

And then steal my throne.

What a nice boy.

Let's wait for him to get back.

Prince Long Qing arrives.

Long Qing?

Father.

I called him back.

Father, Li Hunyuan's sister Li Yu is helping him.

She has married the Golden Horde.

Rumor says that she killed her husbandwho was the king of the Golden Horde.

She is brutal and hard to deal with.

I hope brother you won't pity her.

You are brothers.

Although you have your own stand of points.

But don't forget your goal.

To kill Tang.

We have hidden for decades of years.

You two can make it as long as you work together.

We should be the ones to lead the war.

I wonder if you are ready?

You can start preparing.

I will be here waiting for your Golden Horde armies.

I won't fail you, father.

God bless Yan.

-This news came from Tang.-Li Hunyuan?

It's true.

Li Zhongyi is such a coward.

He picked a loser to be the king.

Looks like Tang is going down after Fu Zi has gone.

Fu Zi went up to the sky, the King of Tang died.

Tang is tearing apart from inside.

This is going well as you wish.

Should we do anything?

It's not us who should do something.

It's that we are going to attack Tang, and thus the world is going to attack Tang.

There's another good news.

Li Qingshan died.

He Mingchi is now the Monastery Leader

of the Heavenly Dao South Faction.

He can use his power

to affect the capital.

He also sent over a secret letter.

The Daughter of Hades

This is the best excuse ever

to attack Tang.

Who would have thought that

the one who got Tang killed

is their Queen.

Greeting to the Monastery Leader.

The light will not be extinguished. Righteousness will prevail.

The light will not be extinguished. Righteousness will prevail.

General Ma has arrived.

Enter.

Your Majesty, the people we sent out has yet to return.

General why do you think there is no news of the capital

and for what reason?

Your Majesty, I have something to say but don't know if I should or not.

General, please speak.

I have seen the Princess once.

She is intelligent and discrete.

Now she is also with Jing's child.

I wonder if...

General Ma don't say anymore.

Your Majesty don't worry.

I will send someone to check again.

Thank you, General.

Life changes.

What ever is supposed to come will come eventually.

Grand Prince.

Monastery Leader He, what are you doing here?

Can't the Monastery Leader be in the palace?

Why are you looking for me?

Your Highness, take a look at what this is.

To Xiling Shrine Leader.

Your Highness's secret letters to XiLing

I only took one.

You want to use this to blackmail me. What a scheme.

How can that be your highness.

We are both on the same boat.

You are one of Xiling's people.

Your Highness do you know why the State Preceptor died?

What's the reason?

Because he supported Li Yu in changing the royal edict. He died of shame.

Died of shame?

You mean.

His Majesty intended to passed on the throne to Little Six?

That is correct.

Why are you telling me this secret?

Since we are on the same boat.

Ofcourse I am willing to tell you everything.

Getting your Highness trust.

What do I need to trust you for?

He MingChi, what do you really want?

I want to help your Highness get the throne back.

This is the Shrine Leaders idea.

The Shrine Leader?

Forget it. I don't even have my freedom.

I am stuck in the palace.

I am being watched.

How can I get my throne back?

Your Highness. Although you don't have your freedom.

But you have something else that is beneficial.

What benefit?

Li HunYuan is inside the palace.

Compared to the past

It will be a lot easier for you to get closer to him.

Why do I need to do that? It's not Iike I can...

Your Highness.

You don't even need to do that.

You only need to push him from behind a little.

He will fall.

Hurry hurry hurry.

Don't give him money.

Your all dismissed.

You have nothing to do?

I would want to do something.

HunYuan.

I told me to visit Zeng Jing. Did you go?

Why not?

He is not loyal to me. Why would I visit him?

Do you really not understand?

Now it's the crucial time for you to get allies.

I am the King. Why do I need to do that?

Li Hunyuan, as a king,

you must put our nation at first.

How can you be so reckless?

Zeng Jing was father's righthand man.

You should have done everything you can to win him over.

That's what a king should do.

Yes, sister.

You can leave.

Useless.

Your Majesty.

Li Peiyan greets your Majesty.

You don't have to do this.

Thank you, your Majesty.

Your Majesty, you don't look fine.

Are you upset about something?

Nothing.

I have a great bottle of wine at in place.

May I invite you to have a drink?

Your Majesty, the Princess said you shouldn't.

Forgive me, I forgot you can't do things as you want.

Now that you're the king, I am the minister.

We can't have your sister see us together.

Forget about it, we shouldn't do it.

I don't want to cause trouble.

I shall leave.

Uncle, wait.

Your Majesty.

The snow is beautiful today.

Since you are free, you may as well drink with me.

Great!

Great!

I am free.

Same. Keep your mouth shut.

-Uncle, please.-Please.

Let's go to your place.

Forgive me for saying this,

but you might be the most leisurely king ever.

I trust in my sister.

All the ministers expect her to keep running the court.

What if she won't leave?

Do you want to be like this for the rest of your life?

Your position is different now.

No one can stop you from doing whatever you want.

I know.

But she is my sister after all.

I don't want to have a fight with her.

I am not telling you to fight over her.

You should help her do things so she would knowwhat you are capable of.

She took over everything. I got nothing on my hands.

What can I do?

Your Majesty, that thing in the sky...

What is it so bright?

It's unsettling.

Yes.

Seven years ago, Miao Kechi

observed the sky and wrote down

"The sky will be covered. The country will be in chaos."

Yu'er had to marry the Golden Horde because of that.

Now the moon is up.

What can't we do the same thing to them?

You want the Sky Division to do a projection again?

Now that the queen and the 6th Prince are stuck in Wei City.

They can't do anything about it.

Their allies

were already been demolished by Yu'er.

This is the best timing.

But the Sky Division is always fair.

They insist the truth.

Would they do what we tell them to do?

Your Majesty.

If the Sky Division is fair,

why Yu'er was forced to marry the Golden Horde?

If we can pull this off,

the Queen will go down for good.

Sister will be so happy.

I can ask her to hand over the power to me then.

Your Majesty, it's "me, the king".

Right. Me, the king.

Come on, drink some more.

Thank you, uncle.

Shrine Leader,

every country has made their statements besides Yan and Grand River.

They will follow us once we start it.

Yan is not a big deal.

Long Qing will join us eventually.

What about the Grand River? It's Mo Shanshan...

I said I would spare Mo Shanshan.

I didn't say I would spare the Ink Pond Park.

Wang Shusheng is a coward.

But he must be able to read the situation now.

I am too sick to bow to you.

Please forgive me.

His Majesty asked me to visit you.

I wonder if you are doing well?

Thanks to his Majesty,

I am very flattered.

Since you are flattered,

you may as well step down.

Step down? What do you mean?
