when the world was dominated

by the juiciest and freshest creatures

ever to rule the planet -

the mighty Vegesaurs!

I spy with my little eye something that's...

(PEA-REXES CHATTER)

(GRUMBLES)

Wait. Now it's green.

What?

(PEA-REXES CHATTER)

(GRUMBLES)

It's there!

Heh.

And... now it's brown.

(PEA-REXES EXCLAIM) Right by that tree.

Huh?

And now it's green again.

NARRATOR: This is a Capsichameleon.

These shy creatures use their camouflage skills

to hide from other Vegesaurs.

Hey, why don't you come out where we can all see you?

(PEA-REXES MUTTER)

I'm not making this up. It's right there.

(PEA-REXES EXCLAIM AND LAUGH)

See? I told you.

(CHATTERS)

Uh, that's not it.

(PEA-REXES LAUGH)

Wait. Don't leave!

(SIGHS)

You really don't want to be seen, do you?

Well, it's just me now, and I've already seen you.

(CREATURE GRUMBLES)

Oh, hi. I was just talking to myself.

(LAUGHS)

NARRATOR: Capsichameleons can camouflage themselves,

but they can't hide their laughter.

So, you think that's funny, hey?

(LAUGHS)

I bet you can do loads of different colours.

That's a really cool trick.

What about purple?

So cool.

Hmm. Oh, I know, orange.

Orange really suits you.

See? Sometimes it's fun to stand out.

(PEA-REX CHATTERS) (EXCLAIMS)

(PEA-REXES SHOUT)

NARRATOR: It looks like these Bananaraptors

have spotted their next meal.

Oh, no!

(PEA-REXES MUTTER)

Uh, now would be a great time to blend in.

(BOTH CHATTER)

(ALL WHIMPER)

Huh?

Whoa, what's going on?

Why have they stopped?

(ALL EXCLAIM)

Yeah! Ha-ha!

Now do you see him? Yeah.

NARRATOR: The Capsichameleon uses its full spectrum of colours

to put predators into a trance.

(PEA-REXES CHEER)

Now, that's what I call a colour explosion.

(PEA-REXES LAUGH)

(BLOWS RASPBERRY)

(PEA-REX LAUGHS)

I like them like this.

Ooh!

NARRATOR: The Bananaraptors are lulled into a deep sleep.

That was awesome!

(LAUGHS)

How about another game of I-spy?

(ALL MUTTER)

OK, I spy with my little eye

something yellow.

(ALL CHATTER)

Not quite.
