Yris was reflecting on the woman who taught her

what love and sacrifice looked like in the first place.

if she wouldn't have left, they would've took her.

She's gone through a lot, so she wasn't the softest.

because we never really saw that.

And so, little things like that,

Like, I didn't understand it for a long time, and that bothered me.

Until I had my kids, I understood, like, damn,

like, she traumatically went through the craziest thing.

That's like a fear of mine, like, every time I'm like, delivering my kids,

I just have that fear, you know?

She was going through that and it was unfortunate

that it was through the time that you were experiencing

so many changes, but she wasn't there for you.

So, you learn to stifle your emotions. You can't let them out.

[Khloé] One thing I knew about Yris, she didn't wake up one day

and decide to be guarded.

Life helped with that, but I was starting to wonder

if those walls were protecting her or holding her back.
