Hi. So, quick
overview on how to install the
DLSS 5 mod for games that not supported.
Uh in our
in our case, I would do
the one game that the I'm certain that
is working with
that is certainly not working with DLSS
5 is AC AC3 Remaster. Plus, it's already
on my channel that you can
um look how it how it actually works.
So,
uh to to make it work, you need
um
actually
few things.
Uh I will link all of the setup files
in in the comments probably, so
everyone could find them.
Uh some from the links, you will need
DLSS 5 feed.
Uh this is basically uh
I would say ReShade uh
ReShade effects, so you would just put
it in the in one of the folders I will
show you later.
Uh
the main files is DLSS 5 feed at don 64.
Rename the X at don 64. You can find it
in uh
ReShade DX Discord channel or I will
just link you a zip.
Uh
of course, there you will find an
original NVGX DLSS that
you would need because
uh the algorithm should
based upon something. And of course, in
our file, this is our neural rendering
pipeline. So,
uh
And of course, yeah, ReShade setup.
So, after that,
uh you will need install ReShade as you
would with any other game. Uh if you
cannot find your game, browse it. Or you
will probably
uh If you cannot find it here, you will
probably need to look if it's
um
B32 or 64-bit
application because there will be a
different kind of setup for this. And
for 32-bit is a bit complicated. I would
not
recommend you even do this.
>> [sighs]
>> At least in my opinion.
Um so okay, you will just in reshade you
will just choose the application, choose
the runtime. It's mostly
is chosen
by the application itself.
And from here you need
an optical flow
basically
again shader
uh from Marty McFly. It will be immerse
by Marty McFly. And
you need basically only launchpad. You
don't need anything else.
Uh so it will
uh create for us
file that DLSS feed will be based
upon will be working upon it.
Uh then click next. You don't need
anything on this on this page. And yeah,
let's go. Uh finish. So after that you
will need to go to your game folder.
Um in Steam you'll find of course
through browse files and or whatever
your game
um situated in.
After that you will need
basically put
all these files all these four files uh
just where the exact of the game is.
Uh one of the files probably is already
here. So I will just replace it.
Uh and in the shader you just need
uh you just in
folder shader you need to put the LS the
LS S5 feed.
Yeah, so basically this is
our setup. Everything else we don't
we don't need.
Let me just show you how it will work.
So yeah.
We'll need to do a few tweaks after the
game will will start. First of all we
need to
understand the depths of the game. From
time to time it will be different. From
time to time it will
kind of break the depth buffer.
So you will need to
you need to adjust it.
Okay, so skip tutorial here. I will
right into the game.
So we will kind of see the
effect
right from
right from the get-go without any menus
such.
>> [snorts]
>> So right now you can see the basic
default version of the game. It's
strange faces and such.
So let's fix this.
First of all we need to enable the
inverse launchpad.
This will basically create
a multiple flow for our kind of the LS
stuff.
And first of all we need to come back.
Then you need
to enable the LS 5 feed.
And actually we're already seeing that
it's taking effect.
And also we need to put it on top but
we should be get below the inverse
launchpads.
Cuz otherwise it will
go back to normal.
In here we can
I would prefer to choose the motion
below the optimal full quality, so I
will choose medium or high.
Depends on how much
information you want to feed
inside the system.
Uh no more maps, just so
show us low quality polygons and stuff.
And that's basically it.
We go into the add-on folder.
Tap.
And here we can
set up as we choose.
I will do the automatic masking and
UI correction because sometimes UI is
really freaky.
After that, uh you can enable scaling
probably to
It is not working right now, but the
main problem will be able to access now
the line, and then it will be working.
And it should work.
Here we can choose styles.
Base
So,
uh thanks for watching. That was a
quick tutorial for everyone who actually
many of you actually asked me how to do
it for games that
not support DLSS natively.
And
anyway, good game.
