[Love you seven times]

[Episode 32]

Fortunately,

only I know about it now.

But

if other immortals find it out,

even if you're the prince of the Dixiu Divine Clan,

you won't

be able to get away with it.

I understand.

I'll take care of it.

You may leave.

Your Holiness.

Greetings, Your Holiness.

Are you here to talk about

the Demon-Vanishing Formation?

To activate the Demon-Vanishing Formation,

I need the Golden Cores of seven Great Demons.

[Black Eagle King, the Demon King]

It's not an easy task.

Please

give me more time.

However,

now,

I have something important to tell you.

This woman is Jin Luo, the Saintess of the Moluo Divine Clan.

I think

she may be of use to you,

so I brought her here.

What's your relationship with Jin Cheng?

Answer His Holiness now!

The ruler of the Heaven Realm

is in cahoots with the Demon King.

You're birds of a feather.

You…

Girl,

you're quite tough.

But it's okay.

I've got plenty of time.

I accept

your gift.

But you have to keep in mind

why I made you

the Demon King.

As to the Demon Cores,

if you can't make any headway,

I'll make you fall off your pedestal

the same way I put you up there.

I understand.

After going back,

I'll take action right away.

You went to 30,000 years ago.

Have you found out the truth?

Will you kill me?

Do you think

I won't?

I wanted to test my brother,

but he showed it to me himself.

It just made him

more suspicious.

If he were the culprit,

he must have the Doom Mark on his body.

But he doesn't.

Could it be

that he's noticed something?

Don't worry.

I'll figure out another way.

But I don't have the Power of Cang Hai now

and your primordial spirit was damaged

when you saved me.

How can we deal with him?

I'll find a way to retrieve the Power of Cang Hai

you left in Void.

Everything will be over.

We'll be fine.

No matter what happens,

don't lose hope.

But

I don't know what Haoxuan will do next.

I…

I told you to have hope.

Don't think too much.

I'm just

worried.

I'm worried that he may suspect you.

Perhaps,

he's suspected me for a long time.

What did you say?

Nothing.

If there's anything,

don't keep it from me.

You promised me.

You

should be honest with me.

Yes.

Empress Cang Hai.

You...

You're the only one

who knows my identity in the Heaven Realm.

Watch your back.

I may kill you.

You…

You know what?

The Star Platform

is the best spot not only for watching stars

but also for watching the sunrise.

I know.

The Star Platform

is the highest place

after the Heavenly Palace.

Usually,

when you immortals are here,

a fairy like me doesn't dare to come up here.

In the future,

if possible,

we'll come here every day.

Deal.

Chu Kong.

Chu Kong.

Chu Kong!

[Marriage Pavilion]

The Star of War is falling.

Has…

I'll go check it out.

What should we do?

Chu Kong.

Chu Kong!

Chu Kong!

The Penglai Residence?

Chu Kong!

Xiangyun.

It was you.

Why?

Why?

He killed someone.

It's just blood for blood.

I had waited

for this day for 30,000 years.

No.

It's not like that.

It's not like that?

Then what is the truth?

For 30,000 years,

everyone has been singing his praises

and cheering his heroic deed of killing Cang Hai.

Does anyone know

what the Moluo Divine Clan suffered?

Does anyone know

what I suffered?

The truth

is not what you think.

Chu Kong was not the culprit.

How did you know?

I remembered everything.

You remembered everything?

You're Cang Hai.

I know.

You've suffered a lot in the past 30,000 years.

I'll tell you the truth

in the future.

Now,

I'm going to find him.

Chu Kong is dead.

What's the point of looking for him?

Xiu Ming.

Let me go.

Cang Hai.

I failed to protect you 30,000 years ago.

That's why the tragedy happened.

This time,

I won't repeat that mistake.

Xiu Ming.

I chose this life.

It has nothing to do with others.

I beg you.

Please let me go.

I'm begging you. Please let me go.

Xiu Ming.

Cang Hai.

Sorry.

Xiu Ming!

Xiu Ming!

I beg you.

Please let me go.

Xiu Ming.

Xiu Ming, let me out.

Now that Chu Kong is dead,

no one in the world

can stop me.

After I collect all the seven Golden Cores

and activate the Demon-Vanishing Formation,

I'll gain the Power of the Demon King.

By then,

all the six realms

will be mine.

You disappeared so suddenly.

I still can't accept it.

I don't believe

that you would abandon me.

I'm worried that he may suspect you.

Perhaps,

he's suspected me for a long time.

What did you say?

Nothing.

Untie it for me!

Besides having love tribulations,

there is only one way to untie it.

What's it?

What's it?

Either you or he

has to lose the primordial spirit

and die.

The Love Knot didn't disappear.

Chu Kong is still alive.

He must still be alive.

Chu Kong didn't die.

Didn't you

see him disappear with your own eyes?

The Love Knot is still tied,

which means he's still alive.

So,

you didn't kill him.

It seems

that he was really lucky.

He actually survived the Soul-shattering Arrow.

But next time,

he won't be so lucky.

No.

Whether it was 30,000 years ago or now,

you wouldn't kill the innocent.

You've always known he wasn't the culprit

30,000 years ago,

right?

So,

you put on this show with him.

I'm kept here

because you want to protect me, right?

30,000 years have passed.

The person who knows me the best

is still you.

So,

do you still insist on me staying here?

Leave.

Xiu Ming.

Thank you.

I need to do two things.

I've thought about it.

One you can help me.

You're the God of War.

I don't think I can help you with anything.

What's it?

I'll go to the Mystery Forest.

The Mystery Forest?

For demonic power?

Only with the Power of the Demon King

can I go to Void

to get back

the Power of Cang Hai she lost.

But it's very dangerous.

You may die there.

Are you sure you want to take the risk?

For Cang Hai,

I have to do this.

You need a trace of ancient primordial spirit

to complete your Soul-shattering Arrow, right?

Who are you going to so much trouble

to hide from?

Is it…

I promised you

to uncover the truth.

Now is not the time.

Aren't you afraid

that I'll really kill you?

Will you?

Does she know about this?

That's the second favor I'm gonna ask for.

Xiangzi.

Xiangzi!

Xiangzi, you…

I…

I was so worried about you.

Do you know?

You poor girl.

I thought you and His Divinity died together.

Red Thread Master.

Why is the Love Knot

still tied?

The Love Knot is still…

Red Thread Master,

does this mean

His Divinity's

primordial spirit didn't perish

and he's still alive?

Who else knows about this?

No one

except you.

Go back to the Marriage Pavilion now.

Be good.

This is an important matter.

Red Thread Master.

I need to report it to His Holiness.

Red Thread Master.

Keep it quiet.

I plan to

look for Chu Kong myself.

Nonsense!

It's such a great matter!

You're just a fairy.

How can you handle it?

We should tell His Holiness

and let him decide what to do.

Red Thread Master.

Think about it.

Chu Kong was the God of War.

He was assassinated in the Heaven Realm.

It means

that the person who wanted him dead is very powerful.

Red Thread Master,

in the Heaven Realm,

you're the only one

I trust.

Don't you trust His Holiness?

He's His Divinity's brother.

I can't afford to take the risk.

What are you going to do next?

I'm going

to look for Chu Kong.

But the six realms are so big.

Where shall I start?

Red Thread Master.

Do you know how to find him?

Tell me.

The way to him

is around your wrist.

Don't forget

that the Love Knot

has tied your primordial spirit with his.

Yeah.

You reminded me.

With the Love Knot,

I can track Chu Kong down.

[Mystery Forest]

I know where he is.

Mystery Forest.

He's in the Mystery Forest.

Mystery Forest?

That forest doesn't belong to any of the six realms

and is full of vicious demons.

What is His Divinity doing there?

I don't know why he's there.

Anyway,

I'll go find him.

What?

Out of the question!

You're too young.

You have no idea how dangerous that place is.

It's brimming with ferocious demons.

Since the day it came into being,

immortals in the Heave Realm have been banned from going there.

You can't go there.

No matter how dangerous it is,

I have to find him.

Fine.

Let's say you were lucky

and made it into the Mystery Forest.

You're so weak.

Aren't you afraid of becoming

the demons' prey?

You can't go there.

I'm not afraid.

We promised

to live or die together

and never be apart.

I know you and His Divinity

love each other dearly.

It's not like you'll listen to me.

It's true what they say:

children are debts to pay.

Detoxifying Pills.

Thunder Balls.

Hypnotic Powder.

Invisibility Charm.

Take them with you.

Take all of them with you.

Especially this Disguising Hairpin.

Take it.

I got it from a fox demon

when I traveled around the martial world.

With this Disguising Hairpin on you,

everyone will take you as a demon.

It'll make things easier for you in the Mystery Forest.

Remember.

You must not

take off that hairpin.

I got it.

Thank you.

The Mystery Forest

is very dangerous.

You must take good care of yourself.

Keep in mind

that in the Heaven Realm,

I'll be waiting for you to come back.

Red Thread Master.

I'll be fine.

Take good care of yourself.

I'm leaving.

I've given you all the treasures I have.

I hope this time,

you can come back safe and sound.

[Chu Kong]

Your Majesty, drink.

Drink it, Your Majesty.

Your Majesty.

The thing I asked you to do,

how did it go?

Your Majesty.

I've asked Elder Kuanglong.

He said

it's too early for you to have the Power of the Demon King.

Elder Kuanglong

is still so tactless.

He thinks having a hereditary title

gives him the right to stand against me.

I'm the Demon King.

Why can't I have the Power of the Demon King?

Please spare my life, Your Majesty.

Please spare my life.

Your Majesty.

Calm down.

And you!

Do you also think I don't deserve

to have the Power of the Demon King?

Your Majesty, spare me.

Who the hell are you?

I came to teach you a lesson.

As the Demon King,

you're bloodthirsty

and killed your own kind.

As the Demon King,

killing a few demons is not a big deal.

Since demons worship power,

I'll let you know

what

karma means.

Your Majesty.

[Demon King's Mansion]

You killed Black Eagle King.

According to the rules of the Mystery Forest,

the Demon King

is the strongest demon.

From today onwards,

[Elder Kuanglong]

you're the Sixth Demon King

of the Mystery Forest.

Greetings, Your Majesty.

Rise.

Elder Kuanglong.

You're

very famous

among demons.

Today,

[Elder Buwen]

I finally had the honor to meet you.

You flatter me, Your Majesty.

I

am just an elder.

I follow orders

and do what I should do.

Really?

What if I want the Power of the Demon King?

Your Majesty.

You just ascended the throne.

What's the rush?

When the time comes,

I will

give the Power of the Demon King

to you.

The Mystery Forest has existed

for over 30,000 years.

It's still impregnable,

thanks to the rule set by the first Demon King, the Scorpion King.

He made an elder

in charge of the Power of the Demon King

to constrain the Demon King

from growing too powerful.

Elder Kuanglong.

You did a great job.

Your Majesty.

Elder Kuanglong's loyalty

is indisputable.

Really?

Then why did none of the Demon Kings

after the Scorpion King

get the Power of the Demon King?

Some ignorant demons

insist that Elder Kuanglong

is hogging the Power of the Demon King

and wouldn't give it over.

Nonsense.

I

never thought about that.

That's slander.

Your Majesty.

Elder Kuanglong once made an oath.

If he ever wants the Power for himself,

his primordial spirit will perish.

Then why is it that none of the Demon Kings

after the Scorpion King

have ever

been given the Power of the Demon King?

So

you're provoking me

to find out the truth behind it.

I'm all ears.

Back then,

demons were the basest of all creatures

and despised by all the six realms.

The Scorpion King built the Mystery Forest

with someone's help

and set a magical barrier

to keep other clans out.

The Scorpion King's contribution

to the Demon Clan is enormous.

With that magical barrier,

even the Heavenly Clan

can't easily get into the Mystery Forest.

The more powerful the immortal is,

the more damage will be done to them

after they enter the Mystery Forest.

They'll get injured at best.

Their primordial spirits will perish at worst.

That's how the Demon Clan

can live without being disturbed.

You're right.

After the Scorpion King built the Mystery Forest,

demons' lives

as wanderers ended.

But unexpectedly,

the cat demons

tried to destroy the magical barrier

for their own interests.

To protect the Mystery Forest,

the Scorpion King

died to keep the barrier intact.

The Kings

after him were strong enough

to take the throne

but not wise enough to rule.

How could I hand over the Power of the Demon King

to them?

I'm different

from them.

Yes.

When I look at you,

I see hope.

But now

is not the time to give you

the Power of the Demon King.

Why?

Because to use the Power of the Demon King,

you have to pay a huge price.

Elder Kuanglong.

What is the price?

You can't love again.

You have to

forget those you love.

I never loved anyone.

Give it to me.

I

can't tell

whether you're telling the truth

or not.

Elder Kuanglong.

Take your time

to find out if I'm qualified to have the Power of the Demon King.

Your Holiness.

You summoned me.

What can I do for you?

Chu Kong's demise

broke my heart.

Fuyuan Fairy in your Marriage Pavilion

was very close

to Chu Kong.

How is she taking it?

Your Holiness.

Now that you mention it,

I've been so worried about her.

What do you mean?

After His Divinity passed away,

I searched every inch of the Heaven Realm

but couldn't find her.

Maybe

she's too sad

and hiding somewhere reminiscing.

It seems that Fuyuan Fairy

loves

Chu Kong deeply.

We should tell His Holiness

and let him decide what to do.

Red Thread Master.

Think about it.

Chu Kong was the God of War.

He was assassinated in the Heaven Realm.

It means

that the person who wanted him dead

is very powerful.

Your Holiness.

She's just a 3,000-year-old fairy

who doesn't know much about magic.

Other than crying,

there's nothing much she can do.

Once she returns to the Marriage Pavilion,

let me know.

Yes.

That fairy

was very close to Chu Kong.

As Chu Kong's brother,

I should do something for her.

Let me thank you on her behalf.

You may leave.

Your Holiness.

[Demon King's Mansion]

Today,

the sixth Demon King of the Mystery Forest took the throne.

All of you

shall follow his orders

and spare no effort

to serve him.

Your Majesty.

We swear allegiance to you!

Rise.

Thank you, Your Majesty.

Rise.

His Majesty took the throne today.

It's a big joyous event in the Mystery Forest.

Your Majesty,

I prepared a gift for you.

[Xiangyun]

My name is Xiangyun.

Greetings, Your Majesty.

Who is she?

What an unpleasant sight.
