Help me.

Please help me.

You...

Your Spirit Core hasn't been unlocked?

I feel so hot...

I'm burning up...

Help me...

(Her Spirit Core isn't even unlocked.)

(Why would she risk her life to save me?)

Your Highness.

Xia Honglian did this.

She drugged her with Spring Dream.

Should I

find her a virgin?

No need.

She saved me first.

I

won't let her lose her virtue because of Xia Honglian.

But, Your Highness,

she has to sleep with a man to neutralize the drug.

There is another way.

Activate her Spirit Core.

Your Highness,

you're still recovering

from your injuries.

Besides, unlocking her Spirit Core could damage your cultivation.

She isn't worth the risk.

I've made my decision.

Go.

Wait outside.

Yes.

(Such a powerful seal.)

(Is this the Huangyan Secret Art?)

This is...

the Reversion Flower.

(Where's the model I told you to get for your brother?)

(You can't do anything right.)

(I've been working all day.)

(I deserve some ice cream, right?)

Ice cream.

A model.

What are those?

Her clothes look strange too.

They aren't Huangyan clothes.

Your Highness.

Are you all right?

It worked.

Send men to Huangyan Kingdom.

Check if anything unusual has happened lately.

Find out if

any female spies arrived recently.

You mean...

This woman

must have ties to Huangyan.

Yes.

When did I get back?

Jin Yunlie brought you back last night.

Why are you here?

Wait.

Jin Yunlie?

Didn't Xia Honglian say

the only cure for Spring Dream was...

Then...

Did he and I...

(We didn't... did we?)

He activated your Spirit Core.

He used Spiritual Power

to force the drug from your body.

You mean

my Spirit Core is activated now?

That's right.

So train hard,

win the Huyun Martial Trial,

then find a way to get the Xuanji Jade.

Wait.

My Spirit Core was just activated,

and you want me to win?

Isn't that asking too much?

Not at all.

Your Spirit Core is powerful.

You must take first place.

Come on.

My Spirit Core may be powerful,

but I know nothing about cultivation.

That's why you need a teacher.

Jin Yunlie is the perfect choice.

(Oh, no.)

Um...

Can...

Can I refuse?

No.

I never had a choice in the real world.

Now it's the same in the Xuanji Realm.

Well...

No time to worry about that.

Time to pull myself together

and get back to work.

(Yellow Dragon, Prophet of the Xuanji Realm)

The wheels of fate are already turning.

In the end,

you must make them fall in love.

It is her destiny.

As for me,

while you used the Wheel of Divination,

I stole nine lifetimes at her side.

That's enough for me.

Despite all Shenlyu's schemes,

we

still have a slim chance of survival.

So what if you kill me?

If Heaven and Earth show no mercy,

someone will rewrite the rules.

(Shenlyu, Creator of the Xuanji Realm)

Then one day,

you appeared with a prophecy

and told me there was still hope for the Xuanji Realm.

Yes.

She is our last hope of turning the tide.

Our combined cultivation

can only trigger ten reincarnations.

Yet

we've already failed nine times.

This is our final chance.

Shisi.

I'm worried...

Don't worry,

I know this better than anyone.

Only after Xi Yuan has suffered

and loved

can she be reborn through pain.

That's the only way

our plan can truly begin.

(Xuanji Realm)

(Xuanji Realm, 200 years ago)

(Shenlyu held absolute power.)

(He was cold and ruthless,)

(and controlled every deity.)

(Love between deities)

(was strictly forbidden.)

(Xuanji Realm: Phoenix Deity) (Despite that,)

(Phoenix and White Tiger fell in love.)

(Their love was genuine.)

(Shenlyu was furious,)

(but dared not act rashly.)

(Phoenix possessed the Power of Hope,)

(the only force that could overthrow his rule.)

Huyun Deity.

Deities cannot fall in love.

It violates the divine law.

You are the Deity of Justice,

(Xuanji Realm: Huyun Deity) yet you knowingly broke the law

by falling in love with Phoenix.

As punishment,

I shall rip out your love soul and erase your memories.

No!

Go.

In the name of love,

strip her of the Heart of Hope

and kill her.

I will not fail you, Lord Shenlyu.

Well?

Did Shenlyu approve of our relationship?

Lord Shenlyu is very understanding.

Of course he approved.

Really?

That's wonderful.

Yes.

Except...

you must die.

Why?

(I saved Phoenix)

(and sent her to your world.)

(One year here is ten years in the Xuanji Realm.)

(Once you come of age,)

(you can return and overthrow Shenlyu.)

Your Highness.

Our spy in Huangyan reports

that years ago,

a princess was born with white flames.

A secret art was used on her,

and she was secretly executed.

She must be Xi Yuan.

The princess who was secretly executed?

I don't think

her arrival in Huyun

was a coincidence.

Huangyan may have sent her

to steal Huyun's secrets

and take them back.

Keep investigating.

Yes.

Also, Your Highness,

the Military Affairs Office

recently intercepted

a secret letter between the Xia family and Longyuan.

(With Demon Lord's blood, the Xia family can win the Crown Princess title.)

(With Longyuan's aid, we shall soon dominate Huyun.)

The Xia family obtained Demon Lord's blood from Longyuan.

They plan to rig the martial trial.

When did Longyuan

start colluding with the Demon Lord

and obtain his blood?

Our spy in Longyuan reports

that Longyuan Deity

recently died.

Longyuan's ruler may have pledged loyalty to the Demon Lord.

Longyuan has turned to evil.

They must have allied with the Xia family

to obtain Xuanji Jade.

The Xia family is too powerful now.

We can only bring them down

by exposing their crimes at court.

When is the martial trial?

Your Highness,

Chancellor Xia just met His Majesty.

His Majesty then scheduled the trial for three days from now.

Three days?

Xia Ling must be

in a hurry

to make his daughter

Crown Princess.

Kui Mulang.

Among the tribute maidens,

is there anyone we can use?

Your Highness,

the Xia family has probably pulled strings already.

Besides,

Demon Lord's blood has made Xia Honglian much stronger.

Even our shadow guards

may not be her match.

Wait.

I can help you.

Why are you here?

I'm here to be your disciple.

If you'll train me,

I'll fight for you.

Why are you so eager

about the trial

when you'll be facing Xia Honglian?

Haven't you suffered

enough already?

Your Highness,

I think

Miss Xi Yuan

is hopelessly in love with you

and wants to be Crown Princess.

That's why she volunteered.

Yes, exactly.

I want to be Crown Princess.

Like they say,

if you don't want to be Crown Princess,

you're no tribute maiden at all.

Do you truly want to help me?

Let's call it

helping each other out.

You want to

get evidence against Xia Honglian.

I want

to be the Crown Princess.

Besides,

my Spirit Core was just activated,

so I have incredible Spiritual Power.

Your Highness,

you won't regret investing in me.

What makes you so sure

your Spiritual Power is that strong?

I'm a sure bet.

Becoming my disciple

won't be that easy.

Starting tomorrow,

you'll be my personal maid.

First,

I'll assess your cultivation potential.

Yes.

Your Highness,

didn't you suspect she was a Huangyan spy?

Why

are you keeping her so close?

Keeping her close

makes it easier

to watch her every move.

Your Highness.

Please have some tea.

Your Highness,

how's the pressure?

(No one is this attentive)

(without wanting something.)

Your Highness,

so, how's my potential looking?

When do we start training?

Report!

Your Highness,

urgent military news.

Huangyan and Huyun have long been enemies.

I am

the Crown Prince of Huyun Kingdom.

I must set an example.

Send out my orders.

Tomorrow,

we attack Huangyan,

and capture its royal family alive.

Yes.

What do you think?

Well...

You're absolutely right, Your Highness.

I'll always support you, Your Highness.

(She doesn't look like a spy.)

(More like a lovestruck fool.)

Enough.

That's all for today.

Leave.

What?

Leave.

(Why is he so hard to please?)

Jin Yunlie.

You think the formation left by Huyun Deity

can trap me?

If no deity could trap you,

why did you wait

until Longyuan Deity died

to collude with Longyuan?

(Demon Lord of the Xuanji Realm)

So what if you absorb my Demonic Energy?

As long as evil remains in people's hearts,

one day I will return to the mortal world.

(For now,)

(I can only seal the Demon Lord)

(in a temporary slumber.)

(I must use this time)

(to put an end to the Xia family's plot.)

Your Highness.

Just as you predicted,

the carrier pigeon bearing our order to attack Huangyan

was secretly intercepted by Miss Xi Yuan.

She must be

secretly copying the message now.

As expected.

She's finally shown her true colors.
