Following the...

confession of faith...

you two gave...

Do you wish to baptize Esther?

Yes.

We wish it.

In the name of the Father...

the Son...

and the Holy Spirit...

Esther is baptized.

Amen.

Amen.

Good, good.

What's this?

Look at this.

Squash.

Touch it.

Kim & Seo Legal Services

Kim & Seo Legal Services

Kim and Seo.

What did you say?

It's the worst national violence.

That can't happen.

Where?

Incheon?

Alright.

We'll look into it.

Wow. You're right on time, Lawyer Seo In Ae.

Is it an incident request?

Let's talk about that later.

Oh, yeah.

This...

is the closing statement.

Can't you stop doing things like this now?

Why do you always ask me to review?

We've always done that ever since the student movement days.

Your writing skills haven't changed since you wrote the statement.

Our office name will change from "Kim and Seo" to "Seo and Kim" soon.

I doubt it.

Our colleagues say "Seo and Kim" rolls off the tongue better than "Kim and Seo."

Jeez, my name isn't like edible seaweed.

Now...

Then...

Shall we go?

Yes.

I'm surprised every time I see that.

Jeez, Lawyer Kim.

You never know.

- Let's go. - Alright.

I'm here.

Princess.

It might be uncomfortable but listen to your teachers.

And write down the names of the boys who stare at you.

Okay.

Here.

Bang.

Kiss.

Thank you. Have a nice day.

Please take good care of her!

President Han Kwang Chul.

What brings you here?

A summons is being issued by the prosecution.

A summons?

Father let me know in advance.

Hanseo funding is low as it is.

There's no solution if we have to pay a fine.

Jeez.

Han Kwang Chul...

you're slower than I thought.

If you heard about the prosecution summons,

you should have appeared a long time ago.

Se Kyung.

Leave us.

You didn't even call.

All I did was complain slightly that President Han Kwang Chul

was disappointing me lately.

Commissioner.

Director Park Young Tae...

He rapidly advances.

He's already in the prosecution.

Commissioner.

the company's current situation...

The company's situation depends on how you define it.

The money earned in Saudi went entirely to Chairman Son in the US.

No, no.

More accurately,

it went to the opposition party leader.

Money goes round and round.

Why doesn't it come to me?

The rumor about Hanseo Construction's funding under pressure.

Isn't that just smoke and mirrors?

You...

Is doing business in Korea silly to you because you tasted oil money?

Just wait a little longer.

I'll take care of it soon.

The slot machine shares...

Give me that.

I'm sorry.

That will be difficult.

Find them.

The summons?

Don't be so scared by that.

The authority that elevates or ruins life...

is in my hands.

This isn't the first time.

I didn't even sign it.

But a top-secret leaked out.

Find out how and where the leak...

...occurred immediately.

And move the office immediately.

Is it true the opposition party leader is returning to Korea?

I'm in the process of confirming myself.

Didn't you already know?

You're from the US.

I told you I'm in the process of confirming.

Are you afraid the fire will land on your father-in-law, Chief Chun?

And you're trying to block it in advance.

Aren't you trying to keep it hush-hush?

I'll report...

to the President first.

Presidential Advisor Han!

Just because you have the President's favor,

don't ignore those around you.

You'll get hurt.

Goodness.

I'm home.

Are you okay?

What happened?

How can a grown up roll down the stairs?

It could have been bad.

I'm okay.

They say I just need to rest for a few days.

You should be careful. You scared me.

Look how Kwang Hoon ran home without finishing work at the Blue House.

You're worried about Kwang Hoon instead of the sick person again.

No.

I have something to report to you, Father. It's okay.

Where's Suk Ho?

He went to exercise with his teacher.

He won't sit still for a second.

Father.

It's a report issued from a famous agency that specializes in analyzing Korea's politics.

When the current government...

...is replaced.

General Chun Tae Woong's

chances of gaining political power is about 25%.

Prime Minister Kim's chances of gaining political power

has also been estimated at 25%. That's important.

I...

...am at 25%?

I don't desire political rule.

And...

the likelihood of a coup d'etat...

...is predicted.

This information will...

soon spread to the military and the Blue House.

Yes.

They've also calculated these chances

and are dreaming of seizing power.

The nation is in a state of anarchy.

Here.

What's this?

This is the document...

that caused an uproar in the Blue House this morning.

It means the opposition party leader will return to Korea no matter what.

Yes.

This is...

a list of his conditions.

I think...

there will be a political storm.

First exile and now a sudden return.

We have another mountain to climb.

Can I have your attention?

Our In Ae passed the bar exam and became a lawyer.

She's winning cases steadily.

We're celebrating today.

So, please eat up.

Congratulations!

Applause!

Applause.

Congratulations.

Please eat a lot.

In Ae.

Congratulations.

- Thanks, Aunt. - I'm so proud.

But...

Our family will go broke if we throw a party every time I win a case.

I wish we could always do this.

- So tasty. - Eat up.

Eat and get strong...

so you can win more cases in court.

You eat too, Aunt.

Our Hanseo Construction...

since Lawyer Seo In Ae is standing by...

we'll never lose a lawsuit.

Do you have a reason to get sued?

What?

Of course we have no reason.

Of course not.

I'm just saying.

Aunt, where are Esther and Kwang Chul?

He took Esther to the zoo again.

They should be back.

Now say, "ah."

Say, "ah."

What are you doing in front of the kids?

It seemed like the meat was burning.

I think Aunt's face is hotter than the meat.

Chil Sung.

We're back.

Esther!

Come, come.

- Come here. - Another barbeque party?

- Mommy. - Mommy must have won again.

You went to the zoo again? Huh?

- Did you see the elephants? - Yeah.

- Did you have fun? - Aunt.

For Esther's sake,

let's get a puppy.

A puppy in a restaurant?

Esther loves animals so much.

A puppy goes...

"Ruff, ruff, ruff."

Goodness.

Why not offer to buy her a zoo if you love her that much?

Why didn't I think of that?

Look into a zoo, Master.

Find out how much a zoo costs.

Yes, sir.

But where?

Near the house is convenient.

- Near Seoul. - Yes, sir.

Esther, you must be happy.

All your uncles are here.

Is there anything else you want to eat? Just say it.

Grandmother, I want japchae.

Japchae.

Here's the japchae.

- Give her the japchae. - Esther, let's eat japchae.

I want to sleep with Daddy.

Daddy.

She's talking in her sleep. You can leave.

Let's go to sleep, Esther.

Princess, do you want to sleep with Daddy?

Just go.

I'll stay until she falls asleep.

Sing me a lullaby.

We have to sing a lullaby.

How are your legs?

Are you okay?

Yeah.

Let's just tell Father you hurt yourself exercising because he'll worry.

Is it a sin to fall down drunk?

You're an alcoholic, dear.

You need treatment at the hospital.

Rumors will start if I go to the hospital.

"The Presidential Advisor's wife is being treated for alcoholism."

I found a place where we don't have to worry about that. Don't worry.

Get treatment.

Don't worry about me.

Why don't you go home today, dear.

It's your father's memorial day.

We couldn't participate because we've been in the US until now.

But you have to go now that you're in the same country.

Forget it.

Should I go like this?

We didn't go last year either.

You were on a business trip with the President then.

You're not going to meet Seo In Ae. You're going to see your brother and his wife.

You have to establish the relationship...

...for my peace of mind.

Se Kyung.

You came quickly, unni.

I called because I thought you should know as Hanseo Construction's lawyer.

Like you requested

I gathered the past and current records like you said.

But if President Han Kwang Chul finds out,

I'm afraid of what he'll say.

Before something happens, I have to know what's going on to take care of it.

You did the right thing by calling.

Right?

It made me nervous just watching.

Was it that bad?

Is this all the record books?

There are a few more in the safe.

But no one besides President Han Kwang Chul knows the safe code.

Se Kyung.

Can you try 0-9-3-0?

What?

0-9-3-0.

Hurry.

It opened.

Review them quickly and put them back in.

I have to take an international call.

Call my office if you need anything.

Alright.

Hey.

What are you doing?

What are you doing?

Can't you tell?

Hanseo Construction's lawyer is

looking at the accounting books.

What?

How did you open that?

Idiot.

My birthday.

What did you do to receive a summons?

What do you mean?

You might get dragged to the prosecution office.

I'll handle it. Don't worry.

Who are you going to pay off to block it?

Doing business like that is what nearly bankrupt Hanseo Construction.

In Ae.

Hanseo Construction won't go bankrupt.

I won't blink an eye even if it does.

As long as you and Esther are happy,

I have nothing to fear in this world.

So, stop poking around and get out.

Master.

Take her out.

Listen to Kwang Chul. Get up.

From now on,

I'm going to come work here whenever I have the chance.

Goodness, who is this?

I didn't hear that Lawyer Seo In Ae would be waiting for me.

You look much better compared to when you were in and out of the interrogation center.

Who would call you a mother?

The Korean Tess...

you've regained your status.

Leave, In Ae.

No.

Leave.

I waited for this person in my dreams.

I can't just go.

You couldn't have missed me for not seeing me often.

I missed you.

Of course I missed you.

The more evil the relationship...

the more you can't forget.

Goodness.

That sounds like what you said in the Seobinggo interrogation center.

But you're a mother now.

With the lips that sing lullabies to your child,

you can't spout poison.

I'm sure you don't want to be invited to the interrogation center again.

Of course not.

I never...

want to go there again.

Is your child growing well?

Her name was...

...Esther, right?

Is there a reason you need to...

...know her name?

Of course.

She's the daughter of...

Korea's Joan of Arc.

Then...

is my child under surveillance as well?

Why did you come?

This is uncomfortable for me, too. It'd be best if I disappear after making my point.

The Commissioner made an urgent call.

He wanted me to forget about...

your prosecution investigation.

He wanted me to deliver the good news myself.

He also wanted me to make sure you know

that people who keep their promises

are favored for a long time.

Alright then.

Was it you, ahjussi?

Was it you, ahjussi?

Se Kyung.

The summons...

Was it your doing, ahjussi?

You're not human, ahjussi.

Don't think lightly of people who work hard.

Calm down, Se Kyung. It has nothing to do with you.

Why not?

If you mess with President Han Kwang Chul,

don't you know it's the same as messing with me?

Are you stupid, ahjussi?

Don't ever...

do something so senseless again.

Alright?

Se Kyung.

In Ae.

I'm sorry.

I have an urgent favor to ask.

You know you can't come here.

Even if time has passed,

my mother won't change easily.

I wanted to...

...urgently confirm something.

Sit for now.

Tae Kyung.

Do you know about Daeryuk Company?

How do you...

...know about that?

After becoming a lawyer,

I have ways to gain access to the information I wanted.

Park Young Tae's paper company...

In order for that company to appear functional,

it would be best to slide in among companies Madam Min's family owns.

You must be careful.

You're not alone anymore, In Ae.

You have a child to protect.

I have a favor to ask...

from the financial expert.

What is it?

Hanseo Construction's...

...secret record books.

The funds listed here.

Can you track them?

The funds paid out by Hanseo...

you want me to track them?

If my intuition is correct,

the movement these funds are connected with Daeryuk Company.

Please confirm for me.

You know there's talk of marriage between me and Tae Kwang Group.

But you brought this to me?

I can acquire Hanseo in one shot with this.

You're not that kind of person.

They haven't confirmed it yet.

At any rate, confirm it and leave quickly.

I told you not to worry.

All I need to do is verify with my eyes.

Please do me this favor.

Is this the only one?

Look at this guy.

It's everything here.

All of this?

Wow.

Oh, this...

Here's a little gift.

Let's have a drink.

You know what you're doing.

Jeez.

I'll be done soon.

Wood chip sacks imported from Thailand...

are full of trash.

How many containers?

It's enormous.

I think 20-30 every month.

Good job.

Did you find information about the customs officer helping Daeryuk Company?

Of course.

Today...

you know it's Father's memorial day, right?

Bring the priest with you.

See you at home with Kwang Chul.

Okay.

Wow, Aunt made lots of good food.

We're here.

- They're here. - Hello.

Say hello.

Come and say hello to the priest, Esther.

Hello, Father.

Our pretty Esther.

How are you?

"I'm fine."

"I eat and sleep well and listen to Grand-auntie"

Good, Esther.

Now, now.

Shall we go up?

Come in.

Come in.

Aunt's Beef Soup

Almighty God...

The Father...

the Son...

and the Holy Spirit...

Please bless those gathered here.

We pray in the name of Jesus Christ.

Amen.

Hyung.

Who are you calling hyung?

Is that a human or a ghost?

Get out if you're human and disappear if you're a ghost.

Goodness.

He came all this way.

Sit with us.

No.

This is the first son's place.

You can't give him that spot.

Aunt's right.

Goodness.

You're bold for being neither human or ghost.

Now, now.

Sit down.

That's enough.

Sit.

How dare he come here?

Presumptuous bastard.

They're brothers.

Brothers are like that.

This isn't a place for him.

I can't believe it.

That you came for Father's memorial.

It was as if Father sent me himself.

The timing was right.

The timing was right?

I wanted to see...

I wanted to see...

...Esther.

She's my brother's daughter.

I wanted to see her since she's your daughter.

Like the priest said,

because of Esther...

I wanted to get rid of the animosity between us

...for her sake.

Did you get your wife's permission?

It's what she wanted.

No...

Right.

She sent me here.

You won't tell the truth until the end.

It's true.

If it's true,

listen up...

I think Father has...

called us here on his memorial day.

Even Father thinks the time has come.

The time...

has come for us to part as strangers.

In Ae.

Listen up.

Esther...

isn't Kwang Chul's daughter.

Esther...

isn't anyone's daughter but mine.

As of today,

I want to escape from the brothers, Han Kwang Chul and Han Kwang Hoon.

Stop it, In Ae.

Why are you acting shocked?

You must have known.

Stop it.

We can't live tied like this forever.

I don't want to.

Like I said,

go to Se Kyung.

Han Kwang Hoon, be faithful to your wife and child.

It's the right thing.

Leave. Please leave.

In Ae.

You told me...

to forget your name.

To erase my memories.

My heart...

...isn't newly made.

Are you happy now?

Are you satisfied?

Didn't you want to hear from In Ae's lips that the child isn't mine?

I didn't...

...come for this.

You're of no help in my life.

Leave.

You were in a meeting overnight.

Good job.

Finally...

Finally, the President is infuriated at General Chun?

He opposed the President's opinion that the opposition party must be controlled.

Oh, my.

How fearless.

How dare he in front of the President?

Hmph.

He isn't always coddled.

Goodness.

Finally...

The President has seen through General Chun.

Maintaining his own image over the President or the regime...

He went on a rant telling him to give up the National Security Chief position.

Don't your lips ever get tired?

Those lips that speak evil of others.

Must I die in order for your lips to stop hungering for power?

On those lips...

on those hands...

how much more blood must be spilled

for my breath to leave me!

The political sentiment is on your side.

What's wrong?

All you have to do is prepare to step on General Chun and rise.

Why are you throwing a fit like someone possessed?

Alright, alright. Alright already!

Let me breathe for one second!

Where are you going?

Oh...

To get some exercise.

Do you see this date?

When you were in jail,

President Han Kwang Chul withdrew all the funds.

And that money went directly...

...to the Daeryuk Company.

The date and amount...

...are exactly the same.

After the money was deposited,

part of it was used for purchasing funds in the US...

Tae Kyung.

This might be dangerous.

Park Young Tae...

has been the safe keeper of my family for a very long time now.

He carries my family on his back...

to fulfill his ambition.

My mother is also...

...deeply involved with him.

Tae Kyung.

I can't stand by...

and watch him manipulate...

...my family any longer.

In order to do that,

cutting these dirty ties...

is very important to me.

Oh, yeah.

With this document...

to start...

It will definitely threaten Park Young Tae.

Tae Kyung.

How can you trust me with such a huge secret?

I might completely...

...ruin your family.

The pain you...

endured because of me...

I can't imagine...

the enormity of it.

I could only guess at...

the horrible things...

that happened to you.

And who did that to you.

If you mess with President Han Kwang Chul,

don't you know it's the same as messing with me?

Are you stupid, ahjussi?

He worked with you in the smuggling operations in Japan.

He used to be a former swimming champion.

He was alive?

Did he speak of me?

Why?

Is there a reason he shouldn't be alive?

Hello.

Han Kwang Chul...

I must remove him from Se Kyung's side for sure.

What did I tell you?

I told you they were embracing at the front gate.

Wait.

I'll send you good news.

It's already too late.

You should have gotten rid of him a long time ago.

Suk Ho...

Let me see if you're good at chopsticks like I taught you.

Good, good.

Who did you take after to be so smart?

Grandfather.

Right.

Let's eat.

Politics aside...

You want to be with your grandson all day like this, right?

Why are you saying something so obvious?

Father.

The Blue House...

is putting the responsibility for the opposition party leader's return on you.

The President...

if the current political sentiment doesn't head the right direction...

Why? What?

Does he want me to resign as National Security Chief?

Father.

You don't mean...

The problem is the primitive thought

that military power must be used to shut the eyes and ears of the citizens.

For that reason...

There's work only you can do, Father.

Remember this, Kwang Hoon.

Trampling on the axis of evil in politics...

is a more difficult fight than dodging mines...

...during war.

I have to go to Incheon.

Did you forget that you're meeting investors in Myungdong today?

Push that back a day.

The President of a lumber company in Incheon is introducing me to investors.

How much is he investing?

Who knows? I hear he has deep pockets.

I don't have any information.

I have to meet him.

I'll be back.

Why aren't you moving?

What's he trying to do?

What?

Here.

Drink this.

Good job.

Thanks, Aunt.

In Ae.

Kyung Ja.

Something terrible has happened, In Ae.

They got to Kwang Chul.

What?

What?

Kwang Chul was in an accident.

Master.

Kwang Chul's alive, right?

Kwang Chul's car rolled over.

But...

it's a big accident.

Kwang Chul.

Kwang Chul.

Kwang Chul!

You can't come in here.

In Ae.

The car...

...completely rolled over.

Devine intervention kept it from being any worse.

Thankfully a passing car discovered him.

So...

the police were alerted quickly.

Someone was after his life.

Why did you send him alone?

Why didn't Chil Sung go with him?

Chil Sung...

He's working on an opportunity to acquire a lumber company.

Don't call anyone else, Master.

It's not good for Hanseo Construction's image.

I'm going to protect him now.

No one can touch him.

Don't just save yourself.

Save your brother, too.

Use the Blue House's influence...

or General Chun's powerful influence and do something.

Kwang Chul.

Now it's my turn to save you.

It's my turn to protect you.

You just...

lie there like you're resting.

Because of me...

you've been through so much.

you have to rest sometime.

Now...

I'll protect and take care of you.

If I can't,

I'll die before you.

Kwang Chul.

Don't stay like this for too long though.

We...

deserve to live life, too.

Rest a bit and wake up.

Wake up, Kwang Chul.

Alright?

Alright, Kwang Chul?

What happened?

In Ae.

Be quiet.

We'll handle it whether he lives or dies.

No...

I'm going to save him.

So...

you leaked information on when

Kwang Chul would leave and arrive?

Master.

That's not it.

Just tell me who you spoke with on the phone.

A guy I know from the Incheon branch.

Incheon branch?

When have you started hanging out with branch guys?

Since my business trip to Thailand.

I approached them to find out about Daeryuk Company.

But I never guessed this would happen.

So...

They manipulated you when you approached them.

I really didn't know anything.

Not in my wildest dreams!

Those guys...

knew about Hanseo's movements through you.

Jerk...

You can't even tell the difference between friend and foe?

Follow me.

It'll be awhile...

until he regains consciousness.

That means he might not wake up.

If that's the case,

what will you do?

No.

He'll definitely wake up.

Our Kwang Chul...

wouldn't give up like this.

What if he does?

Will we be able to live...

with our heads held up high?

I'm sure Han Kwang Hoon...

will continue to follow his ambition.

You would say that in life,

it's no big deal cutting people out.

In Ae.

Han Kwang Hoon and Seo In Ae...

have to relearn how to live from Han Kwang Chul.

Han Kwang Chul...

For the sake of the people he loves...

he could throw away his life.

If...

Kwang Chul leaves like this...

I wish I could follow him.

I wish I could become someone

who could follow him without regret.

In Ae.

In Ae.

Chil Sung...

...made a mistake.

He was hanging around Incheon branch guys

and I think he leaked...

information about Hanseo.

In Ae.

I made a mistake.

I deserve to die.

Forgive me.

It's because I'm an idiot.

I'm a fool.

Forgive me.

What do you mean by Incheon branch?

The National Security Department Incheon branch.

Then...

Park Young Tae was behind it.

Park Young Tae.

I pointed him out from the beginning.

I waited for the right time until now.

Commissioner.

It's Park Young Tae.

The promotion is still talk but you already sent a gift?

I know very well.

As the Vice-Chief of the National Security, I can drop a flying bird from the sky as the second in line.

This is all thanks to the President's unlimited grace.

and your power, Commissioner.

I'll take good care of you.

Yes.

Thank you.

Move!

Let go.

What brings you here at this late hour, Han Kwang Hoon?

Director Park Young Tae...

What is the reason...

you tried to kill my brother?

Your brother?

I'm talking about Han Kwang Chul.

Have you taken your thug brother's place

when you're usually so well-mannered as Presidential Advisor?

What's the reason you mobilized

the Incheon branch to kill my brother?

This is news to me.

Right this minute,

I can find evidence this was your doing.

Do you think I'm so foolish as to leave evidence behind in such a small matter?

Who do you think I am?

Would I put myself in danger just to get a thug?

This is not polite.

Han Kwang Hoon.

You've made a big mistake.

You should ask for help if your brother is going through a difficult time instead of accusing me.

What?

Did something happen to your brother?

Oh, that's right.

Han Kwang Chul made his fair share of enemies working for Chairman Son.

He was all over the place without regard for hierarchy.

The economic world has a frightening hierarchy.

So?

Did you receive orders from some group?

Han Kwang Hoon.

Is this all you learned in the US?

Are you really General Chun's crown prince?

Speak up.

General Chun, you and I are on the same boat for supreme authority.

What is this recklessness behavior?

Who gave you the wrong information!

Then...

I'll come again with the correct information.

If you can't bring it,

how will you apologize to me, huh?

I'll retaliate.

Then at that time...

I'll give you the information Big Bear has.

Big Bear...

you, Director Park Young Tae, and...

Madam Min Hye Rin have a hidden connection.

Due to that immense secret, Big Bear

was able to spend such a long time in Las Vegas.

Han Kwang Hoon.

If I open that road...

...you're dead.

So...

Me...

or my brother...

Don't mess with us.

Yeah.

I know I'm still making a mistake.

My last card...

has been revealed now.

So, Director Park Young Tae...

if you come after us again,

you should prepare for the worst.

Incheon Branch Head.

You have to leave Korea immediately.

Hide like your life depends on it.

It's dangerous.

Was it a simple accident?

Yes.

As of now.

However, that might not be the case.

To the extent that it shames me to have been born human,

grievous things happen in this world.

Where is...

...his hyung?

Is there...

anything I can do to help?

There isn't.

I don't think people...

...can help.

It's a shame we always meet in painful situations.

Those words...

...don't comfort me.

Then...

What?

You went to see Park Young Tae?

Are you insane?

It's definitely him according to the circumstances.

Like I told you,

Park Young Tae killed my father.

And...

I'm sure he guesses...

that we know that fact.

But how could you give him a warning without preparation?

Park Young Tae is...

a mountain for me to climb, too.

As the information expert,

he's got the full support of the President.

He's been designated as the Vice-Chief of National Security.

If so...

you didn't put in a recommendation?

Then, Father...

get rid of him.

As if my father wasn't enough,

now he tries to kill my brother.

If you can't,

allow me to eliminate him myself.

Then...

That means he can kill you, too.

If you die, what point does any of this have?

Focus on your work at the Blue House.

He's my brother, Father.

Get out.

Get out!

Go back.

I'll watch over Kwang Chul.

So, leave.

How worried must...

General Chun have been to come here?

You were right.

Park Young Tae...

is the one who killed Father.

You were right.

That guy...

worked with Father for a long time.

What?

Kwang Chul knew as well.

That guy...

was with Father ever since

he used to steer the boat.

So?

He must have had something on him.

That's why he killed Father.

Right.

For your sake,

we kept it to ourselves.

What is it, Se Kyung?

- What? - Father.

President Han Kwang Chul...

was injured in a car accident.

What do we do?

What do we do, Father!

What's all the fuss so early in the morning?

Did someone die?

The car fell off a cliff.

It's no different than death.

I thought his greed was excessive.

I had him figured out when he looked down on Tae Kwang and used you.

There's no way...

Park Young Tae ahjussi did this, right Mother?

Are you insane?

By chance...

is this how you want to separate me from President Han Kwang Chul?

Se Kyung.

Are you crazy?

How could I do something so horrible?

Let's go visit Han Kwang Chul.

Leave Se Kyung alone.

Let's go.

Jeez.

Are they insane?

How could they imagine I could do such a horrible thing?

You're more than capable of it, dear.

What?

There's a hand that moves according to your orders.

Honey.

Your lips are capable of ordering acid to be thrown on Seo In Ae's face.

Dear...

Who did you hear that from?

Are you seeing Seo In Ae?

You used that technique in the past.

You said a woman and her child...

were sent to the US.

But there's no trace of them.

What?

Are you digging up...

dusty old stories...

from the past?

Is that why you were delirious

like you got shot in the head?

Like you say,

there can be no weak spots if you want to gain supreme authority.

Even if they exist,

they must be erased without a trace.

Hansung Hospital

What happened?

I think there was a car pursuit.

A pursuit?

Then...

Did someone mean to kill Han Kwang Chul?

We'll find out the details...

after President Han wakes up.

Oppa.

Oppa, what do I do?

Save Han Kwang Chul.

Save Han Kwang Chul, oppa.

Hello.

Have a seat.

Because Lawyer Seo called personally to meet,

I flew over with eyelashes fluttering like I had wings on my back.

I heard about President Han Kwang Chul's car accident.

It made my heart drop.

There's no way...

his life is in danger, right?

That would make things difficult.

The Commissioner's...

dream of the New Town kingdom will disappear.

I have a favor to ask you.

That's why I called.

It's an honor.

Until Hanseo Construction...

becomes a large corporation, you agreed to be a mentor.

That's a given, isn't it?

Everyone flatters me because the President is behind me.

President Han Kwang Chul...

has character...

and is a man I can talk to.

Until President Han Kwang Chul recovers,

I have to handle tough tasks.

Ask me anything.

If I can be of support,

I'll go as far as jumping into a fire.

There's money that needs recovering.

Please help me.

Money that needs recovering...

That's marvelous.

My dreams were unsettled last night.

It was a mistake to overlook Han Kwang Hoon.

We must gather all our forces to stop him.

The opponent...

may be General Chun.

Move out.

I've been afflicted by bad luck before my promotion as Vice-Chief.

Yes.

Hello.

Welcome, Commissioner.

Sending a congratulatory plant was enough, but now you're here in person.

There's someone who wants to congratulate you on your promotion.

Can I bring her in?

Of course.

Okay.

Come in.

Congratulations on your promotion.

Endless Love

We raised Se Kyung with such care.

Se Kyung is...

...my daughter.

You're Prime Minister Kim Gun Pyo's daughter.

Is that what you're saying?

Did you manipulate Kim Tae Kyung?

You and I have the most evil of connections.

Park Young Tae!

Don't touch my son!

In Ae.

I have a daughter I want to find.

I thought it was over without being able to apologize.

I was so afraid.

Forgive me.
