There was an order from the top to keep careful watch over Seo In Ae.

If something happens while we're not watching,

this might happen to us, too.

Keep your wits about you and watch her.

If you're that worried,

why are you going home so early lately?

If those horrible people at the top find out...

I gave her plenty of medication, so she won't wake up and throw another fit.

Follow him.

That feels great.

Good, good.

You're better at finding the sore spots than a doctor like me.

You have healing hands.

That's great.

Right...

What other joy is there in life?

Your hands are the best.

Who? Who are you?

You're at an age where dying of a heart attack is a worry.

Why are you playing spy?

Who are you? What do you want?

Who did you report...

Seo In Ae's pregnancy to?

Who is Seo In Ae?

You should know.

Save me. Save me.

Name.

Park Young Tae.

Accurately.

Park...

Young...

...Tae.

Daeryuk Company, Lee Woong Sun

I'm sorry. He burst in suddenly while I was on the phone.

Have you lost your mind? Where do you think this is?

Is this place forbidden?

You're determined to hear that you're a failed crop in the Prime Minister's lineage.

It might be the opposite.

Tell me the truth about Seo In Ae.

Seo In Ae, Seo In Ae, Seo In Ae!

Do you still care for a woman pregnant with another man's child?

Whose child is it?

You're out of your mind.

I know Seo In Ae. She would know when it's appropriate to get pregnant.

Are you saying she became pregnant without a man then?

I think you know the truth, ahjussi.

There aren't many people who can plot something this enormous.

You're not in the right state of mind. Leave before I force you out.

Ahjussi!

Kim Tae Kyung!

The authorities might have sentenced her

but the thought of you and Mother pushing In Ae to the brink of death torments me!

You...

We'll talk again when you've regained your senses.

Ahjussi.

If not, you need to go to the hospital immediately!

Just hospitalize me by force.

You can do it.

Kim Tae Kyung.

This is why I hear that the Prime Minister's children are a failed crop.

Have you and your sister gone insane?

Be quiet.

Who is it?

It's Han Kwang Chul.

I need to meet you right now.

For what?

Daeryuk Company, Lee Woong Sun

Did something happen to In Ae that I don't know about?

Daeryuk Company...

Can you find out about the Daeryuk Company?

Are you giving me orders?

It would be best for you to come.

What?

I'll be waiting.

That arrogant bastard.

I'm leaving now.

Tae Kyung.

Get the car ready.

I think Chairman Son raised you too well.

Don't you know Chairman Son's secret connections are in palm of my hand?

No...

I don't.

Do you know what you are to me?

A...

...gnat?

Then how dare you order me to come and go?

Was it you...

who threatened the prison infirmary doctor?

I guess I'm right.

A gnat has risked his life.

That's right.

The newspaper report...

saying that Seo In Ae is pregnant with my child...

There are only three people on earth who know it isn't my child.

Seo In Ae...

Han Kwang Chul...

And?

Did you misunderstand it to be me?

I hope not.

I shouldn't have let you live.

I trusted Chairman Son too much.

The ones who assaulted Seo In Ae...

You sent them to Thailand.

You're no good.

It would be best if the Minister of Construction didn't know about this transaction.

Slot machines are a business that lays golden eggs.

Your life will end easily if you reveal yourself like this.

I have plenty of copies.

You've come prepared when you called me out risking your life.

What do you want?

Do you want me to reveal that Seo In Ae's child isn't yours?

No.

I want you to protect and take responsibility for Seo In Ae.

Seo In Ae always comes first with you even to the end.

Your life in exchange for hers?

If you save Seo In Ae,

I'll promise you one thing.

What?

Isn't this Chairman Son's construction site?

You're not going to give all this to me, are you?

He said you would be satisfied with...

...the underground arcade.

Chairman Son granted you a big favor.

Should both of us remain alive until the completion for the transaction to be a success?

Only Seo In Ae must remain alive.

You would rise to the top if you came to work for me.

As long as you don't underestimate me.

Underestimate?

I heard you're the candidate for Korea's next Commissioner.

Candidate?

Seo In Ae...

I want special amnesty for her.

Do I look like the President to you?

I know it's possible if people don't know.

That's impossible.

The first step is a medical release.

Do you want Seo In Ae to receive more attention for special treatment?

I'll take...

...whatever comes.

Han Kwang Chul...

are you stupid or a genius?

I feel like I'm seeing the type of man I like.

Risking your life for the love of one woman.

You've moved the candidate for Korea's Commissioner.

You showed me the real deal...

...and let me touch it.

Seeing is wanting.

The first step...

...is a medical release.

You've stopped moving me.

You need to be able to read a person's sincerity to gain the world.

Building Transfer Document

You love Seo In Ae more than yourself.

Not just anyone could do this.

As a fellow man,

I really like you.

I'm in a similar love myself.

A family visitation first.

I heard you.

Just a little more...

Endure just a little more, In Ae.

A little more.

What did he say?

He said...

you've raised me too big, Chairman.

I received...

...his promise.

How does it feel...

knowing that you've given up your share...

...to him?

You have no shares anymore.

I know.

You'll regret it.

I won't.

I definitely won't.

You idiot.

Fine!

Let's wait and see.

Sit, you jerk!

I'll start over.

No one can survive in Korea while looking down on Park Young Tae.

He knows about every single loophole in policy.

He makes up loopholes that don't exist.

I know that.

You don't know anything.

You fearless idiot.

You fearless idiot.

You jerk...

I'm afraid Se Kyung will collapse with worry over you.

Where on earth does your bravado come from?

Here.

Let's drink.

Making a proclamation...

is like taking my life with a gun to my head.

Who is the one giving you orders?

Is it the Prime Minister's camp?

You're wrong.

Your political rivals will start appearing from every corner.

Hearing that you'll be discharged in line for succession,

your rivals will raise their claws in warning.

Prime Minister's camp. You're part of the Prime Minister's camp.

The Prime Minister believes in the people's support more than the military.

You already know about your enemies in the military.

Will this convince you?

It's a transcript of the phone call between General Son and General Ham.

More than the opposition party or the Prime Minister,

you must be more careful of the military opposition from now on.

The eve before a tornado hits.

You must begin your show of political power.

They're talking about destroying me because the weapons transaction went awry.

Isn't that how politics work?

False proclamations.

You must stop that first.

Director...

are you a friend or foe?

A friend can turn into a fierce enemy in politics.

That's what makes war more savage.

Are you a friend or foe?

Are you not satisfied with this document?

Let me ask you one more thing.

How do you see the big picture?

The President has issues with the Prime Minister.

The Prime Minister's charisma with the government and the people

...has always bothered him.

How should I put it?

Just say it.

Are you saying the President doesn't want to give him power?

It's more than that. He thinks you need to be...

the second in line for the future of this country.

That's...

...just flattery.

I'm sure the President...

hopes that you'll...

shine in your ability for political combat.

I don't know what task the President will give you,

but you'll have to show your special abilities.

What do you think about...

the Security Planning Department?

Congratulations.

Did the deal go well?

Money got through even when the Prime Minister couldn't.

Congratulations...

...on becoming penniless.

Han Kwang Chul's pure love is amazing.

It's overwhelming just to watch...

...that beautiful love.

A love that wagers everything.

When will I receive that kind of love?

Go inside and rest.

There's food waiting.

You have to eat, rest and regain your strength.

Thank you...

...for convincing the Chairman.

Thank you for that.

You said love is stronger than death.

Please eat and regain your strength.

You were...

appointed as the Prime Minister...

by the will of the people.

It wasn't the will of the President.

For the purpose of earning public trust.

There you go, talking about politics again.

Do you know the times we're facing?

Aren't you nervous?

After General Chun was chosen as the successor,

there is silent gunfire within the military.

You must show your strong stance in leadership

...to gather support.

This isn't my opinion. It's General Son and General Ham's opinion.

Maintaining your image...

and vacillating while relying on public support

...is the absolute worst.

If General Chun displays his sharp personality,

the probability that they will support him is 80%.

What's the point of gathering the unpredictable support of those

...who seek personal gain?

To make a pile of trash?

Dear...

...you were calculating.

Who stands behind you...

and who is brought forward...

I can hear the wheels turning in your head.

It's time for you to show and confirm

...your political foresight.

Who told you this?

General Ham's wife.

Women run politics in the military.

Don't you know the General's wife is the General's general?

Big Bear has gone to Boston.

I have a bad feeling.

You've seen me ever since you were little.

Are you that afraid of me?

You're a very famous...

...and important guest.

It's alright to say it's because of my notoriety.

You must have been surprised since I dropped by so unexpectedly.

However, my resentment is as deep...

...as my notoriety.

My husband will be home soon, ahjussi.

Alright.

It brings back old memories when you call me ahjussi.

It was so nice when we lived together as a military family.

How did we become enemies who fight over power like wild animals?

We bite, rip, tear, trample and kill one another!

Goodness, I'm sorry.

Goodness, I'm sorry to say that when you're pregnant.

It's alright, ahjussi.

Um...

It hurt me to hear about ahjumma.

Her death wasn't an accident.

What?

Because I went against them,

I didn't know...

a tragedy would befall my whole family.

You don't mean...

Who knows?

After time passes and your father takes over power,

I might be able to come back.

Your husband is quite amazing.

Look at how he made me come to a student's home myself.

He's has an influence.

He's home.

Why are you so late?

I'm sorry to keep you waiting.

I'm so notorious that Hye Jin was trembling.

I'm sorry for disrupting her when she's pregnant.

It's alright.

I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable, ahjussi.

No, no. It's alright.

You're living more humbly than I thought.

You're the son-in-law of the future President.

This is a palace for a student.

You're...

...a natural fraud.

No, no, I should enunciate.

Not a fraud, but a born negotiator.

The reason I asked you to come...

You have to speak accurately.

You didn't ask me to come.

I came on my own, right?

- This is the bank document. - Alright.

This is on the condition...

that you don't write your confession.

At one time,

I was the chief political strategist.

For the sake of the dictator,

I committed many crimes.

With a heart of repentance,

I want to contribute to the reconciliation of Korea as a free democratic society.

This is my personal opinion, but...

I feel that if your confession is sincere,

nobody...

can stop that...

or should be allowed to.

I also told...

...my father-in-law that.

This is why I can communicate with you, right?

You spoke of sincerity earlier...

Are you saying it's Heaven's will?

How can a young person know that?

You're young?

You seem more mature than anyone to me.

If I write my confession,

the faultless General Chun...

...will automatically rise up.

- I think you're already calculating that. - However...

if he doesn't work for the President right now...

he can't become the successor.

My confession...

Will you write it?

What?

It will be fun.

If you become the author of my confession,

you will gain international attention.

Nobody could look down on it. You will gain the spotlight.

I think you can do it.

Are you interested?

Interested?

Will you do it?

How can I dare to dream such a thing?

I have a lot of material here.

My head is full of it, too.

All you have to do is write what I say.

Okay?

I don't have time.

I know my fate.

In the near future...

someone will kill me.

Before I die,

I want to confess the truth.

If I open my mouth,

Korea's power players will be overturned in one night.

This vacation is your chance.

Work with me, okay?

I might be risking my life.

Your status will rise higher the more risk you take.

This is very important.

You might not be able to discuss it with your father-in-law.

He's gone missing in Boston?

How could you lose Big Bear?

How can you lose such a dangerous figure and expect to survive?

Search for him like you're looking for lice.

If necessary,

you have my permission to kill.

How long have you been in a relationship with Seo In Ae?

- How do you feel? - Say something.

Please say something.

- How do you feel? - I hear you're the child's father.

In Ae.

In Ae.

Kwang Chul.

Listen to me.

I'll probably...

...die like this.

You can't.

But instead...

Don't be so weak.

You survive instead.

Survive until the end.

You survive. You survive and do what you have to do.

I don't think I can.

Even if I want to live,

my body won't listen.

In Ae.

You'll be released for medical reasons.

Wait.

That's not necessary.

My wish was to...

see you once again.

In Ae.

You're the only one left...

...I can trust.

Right.

Right.

Take a look at me.

Believe in me and live, In Ae.

Wait even if it's hard. You'll receive a medical release.

So, don't say you'll die.

Sorry.

Promise me you'll live no matter what! Promise me!

You did nothing wrong...

but became the father of a child.

No.

No.

I'm grateful.

I'm grateful. I'm thankful for it.

Don't bother with a medical release.

Collapsing like this...

...is my fate.

What are you talking about, In Ae?

That's what I want now.

Take care...

of Aunt and In Chul.

That's my last request.

In Ae.

Sorry.

I'm sorry.

Who is it?

So?

She's been sent to the infirmary again.

I think she has pregnancy toxemia. She has signs of pneumonia as well.

At any rate, she's in critical condition.

She doesn't show any will to live.

Doctor...

You talk too much.

What should I do?

Treating her with such a high fever will be difficult.

She's in danger.

Make sure she lives.

I don't have the confidence to do that here.

Make sure she lives through the night.

The authorities haven't given permission yet.

I don't have the confidence.

She can't be released without the prosecution's permission.

Be sure to see her through the night!

I'm Park Young Tae.

What's happening with the favor I asked for?

What?

Do you want a martyr to die in jail?

Hurry up.

Think of the fiery aftermath if Seo In Ae dies in prison.

What now?

Oh, it's you. Han Kwang Chul.

Her face looks so pale.

I received the report.

Issue a medical release immediately.

Wait for the proper procedure.

Her life is in danger!

Is her life in my hands?

Her life...

you promised to take responsibility.

How can I take responsibility for her lack of will to survive?

I can't do anything even if you promised me heaven and earth.

She has to survive first and foremost.

I'll handle my end of the deal.

Save and release her.

Hurry up.

"Save and release her. Hurry up."

Listen up, Han Kwang Chul.

I'm not someone you can order around.

Wait quietly.

That arrogant bastard.

How dare he entice me with few dollars...

Korean Tess, Seo In Ae's pure love story.

Listen up and remember this.

You're not human if you can't come to your senses after that.

From the start,

I would be less angry if they were more worthy.

Do something about them.

I raised them like royalty, but they're shaken up by cheap lives and love.

Cheap lives?

Is that all you can say?

What regret do you have left taking the side of those cheap lives?

Look at this.

She's crying even after seeing this.

Tae Kyung, will you still refuse to go your way?

Father, Seo In Ae's health is terrible. Is there a way to help her?

Who would save a criminal?

Seo In Ae is innocent, Mother.

Would she plaster the newspapers with dirt if she's innocent?

What about you, Mother? Do you live a sinless, clean life?

What do you mean?

Listen to your conscience, Mother.

You'll be happy if Seo In Ae dies.

Stop it.

Who is living the cheap life...

You really...

should deeply...

...think about that.

He still hasn't come to his senses.

He's been tricked by that monster Seo In Ae.

What do I do?

Father.

It will work out.

Are you trying?

Yeah.

Hello.

It's Park Young Tae.

Please speak.

Seo In Ae is being transferred to the hospital on a medical release today.

Hansang Hospital, room 1304.

No visitors except for the priest.

It's on the condition that this information doesn't leak.

Thank you.

That document was pretty hefty.

I'll keep my word in our agreement.

Yes, I know.

According to the doctor, yesterday was the turning point.

She would have died if it wasn't for Han Kwang Chul.

It's an amazing love in such a tumultuous world.

Who are you?

I'm family.

No visits aside from the child's father.

I am the father.

You never know about a person's life.

I thought you would be in the military forever.

And I...

would be a military officer's wife for the rest of my life.

I wonder if the President felt like you when he took off his military uniform.

I feel like I'm sending you off to a more dangerous battlefield

...than the Vietnam War.

I want to tell you to just stay in the military.

You know me best, dear.

If Father was still alive, what would he have said?

He would have told you not to take off your uniform.

He was a military officer down to his bones.

But we're...

...only halfway there.

What did General Choi say?

He didn't say anything.

Dear...

I don't think you got any sleep last night.

In this war,

I'm not confident I'll survive.

You've survived through any war.

If you don't have confidence taking off your uniform,

don't be discharged even now.

It's probably Hye Jin.

Hello.

It's you, Kwang Hoon.

Good timing.

Taking off his uniform is difficult for him.

Okay, hold on.

Dear...

Alright then.

It's me.

It's your discharge ceremony.

Is it alright that we're not there?

Of course, why do you keep asking?

It's not worth making a big deal over by having you guys come.

You focus on Big Bear.

I think it would be good to work during my vacation.

You have to think this through.

It's an important affair that can be called treason.

Can you maintain secrecy?

Big Bear is an expert in Intelligence.

He can set up a secret location.

Alright.

The future of the nation hinges on it.

I know.

Congratulations...

...on your discharge.

Congratulations...

Do you think this is something to be congratulated?

You've made up your mind.

You'll gather support if you have justification and trust.

Justification.

But the people are...

strongly hoping for an end to the military rule.

Then...

wouldn't one possibility be...

advocating the end of military rule?

Manipulating the existing powers are one way.

But going with the flow of the times

and going against the old system

...might be a possibility.

Are you thinking that far ahead?

At any rate, I honestly...

have no desire to take off my uniform.

It's presumptuous to say, but...

there is a time...

...for everything.

Are you saying this is the time for me to take it off?

That's what I think.

Alright.

I'll believe in your foresight.

Anyway, I bid you well on your work.

Alright.

Take pity...

...on Hye Jin.

Yes.

Bye.

My brother-in-law has become a famous media figure due to Seo In Ae.

Tears are shed in love outside the prison walls.

I'm starting work today.

You're going to help Big Bear write his confession?

Don't speak carelessly.

Is this your first step toward

establishing your own power aside from Father?

I'll be focused on it during my vacation.

Don't be disappointed...

even if I'm not attentive.

When were you ever attentive and affectionate?

Don't whine.

I...

Fine...

I'm not very affectionate.

This is being affectionate.

Like this.

You're warm.

I wish...

you were always warm like this...

...consistently.

I'm...

...your husband.

I'm also the father of your child.

What about Seo In Ae?

You...

me...

and the baby inside you...

I'm only going to think of the three of us.

I'm...

busy taking care of our family.

Even if it isn't true,

thank you for saying it.

Thank you.

Just stay alive.

Don't think of dying.

Just wake up, In Ae.

We didn't meet...

so it could end like this.

Yeah, you're right.

I need about three more people who are relevant.

Even as children,

Kwang Chul was always the one who protected In Ae.

My mother always said even her own parents couldn't protect her like that.

He stole toys for her.

He got a tricycle for her.

It was like he was born to protect In Ae.

Kwang Hoon was always cold.

It was always about himself.

That's why In Ae took care of him.

Evil bastard.

That evil bastard.

How much does he want to advance?

Evil bastard.

Eat this.

You can't drink on an empty stomach.

Someone's actually looking after my empty stomach.

I didn't think anyone thought I was a person.

How can you say that?

I wasn't treated like a person by someone like Jang Taek Sang.

You lived well enduring it.

You raised In Chul and In Ae.

Our In Ae...

...might die.

She'll live.

In Ae can't abandon us.

Alright. Give it to me.

Eat this.

What's this? Did you establish a temporary government or something?

Where is the location?

I told you it's a secret.

It scares me that you're working with Big Bear.

It's important work.

There's another danger.

The hospital called.

Jang Jung Jae...

What?

Jang Jung Jae is going to regain consciousness.

There was no word when I went to the hospital.

Did you leave our number at the hospital?

They said someone asked for our address.

And?

Don't you know...

what kind of person he is? Why are you taking care of him?

We have to take care of it.

We can't drag it around forever.

Just ignore it, dear.

Ignore?

How can I ignore it when I remember?

We promised to marry.

This is my account number and the amount I want.

Discuss it with General Chun.

He wants to deal with me, not you.

I'll meet him.

No, you can't, Father.

He can't ruin the wedding.

As a father of an irresponsible child,

it's my responsibility.

Hansung Hospital

In Ae.

Are you awake?

You're at the hospital.

You're on a medical release.

You're alive.

You're alive, In Ae.

Let's live.

We must live to win.

Why run away and die like a coward?

I won't let you die.

I can't.

I can't no matter what.

You shouldn't try so hard.

I really...

want to give up now.

No.

You can't do as you want anymore.

I'll die with you if you want.

You can't die alone anymore.

You're innocent.

More pure than anyone.

More clean than anyone.

Don't cry.

Don't cry.

Your tears are too precious.

Your expression is cold and dark.

It's the expression of a mastermind plotting something.

Park Young Tae's sharp trademark expression.

Why didn't you answer the phone?

Are you going to change sides?

You can't fool me even if you fool everyone else.

Your eyes...

...dream of betrayal.

What happened?

Should I only love you from afar even if I die a hundred times?

Have you forgotten?

That promise.

The promise you pledged first with your own lips.

Is the tide...

turning toward General Chun's side?

Do you see the word "King" on his face?

My intuition was right.

Park Young Tae...

has been trampled by General Chun's strength.

There's no room for Prime Minister Kim.

Are you thinking it's over?

What am I?

What is my life's purpose?

I can't call my children by name. I can only watch them from afar.

How long must I do this?

Now...

you're talking dangerously.

There's nothing you can't say.

Right.

My family has worked for your family from my grandfather's generation.

No, we acted like your hunting dogs.

My grandfather, my father...

...and me.

Your grandfather was a sharecropper.

Your father was the butler.

You, Park Young Tae, went after the only daughter of the Min family

in order to advance...

...in politics.

You've grown big enough to handle power players in Korea.

Why now?

Why are you degrading yourself as a hunter now?

Min Hye Rin.

I'm nothing more or less than a hunter to you.

Because of the ambition of a sharecropper's grandson,

I became a sinful woman.

You said you'd never see the Prime Minister again.

You set fire to my passion promising that, Madam Min.

Let's be honest.

When I was infuriated because of that man's betrayal,

that's what I truly wanted.

That's what I was going to do.

Then or now, I can...

live at the ends of the earth with you and our children.

Don't speak carelessly.

Don't speak...

...of our children so carelessly.

Why not?

Is this the end of the road?

Is your heart that divided?

You always maliciously...

drag me along like a dog on a leash.

Betrayal...

I can't forgive it.

I won't.

Don't have a divided heart.

How long?

Until Prime Minister Kim takes control.

No, until one of us dies.

The Iron Butterfly is addicted...

...to the greed for power.

I wasn't the only one who used you.

Eighty percent of what made me into the Iron Butterfly...

...was you.

You're humble at times like this.

Tell me!

How is the power struggle going...

that you're giving off the scent of betrayal?

General Chun will definitely start a new era.

What about the Prime Minister?

Do you anticipate he'll be eliminated in this political shake-up?

Who knows?

Look at him now.

How dare he defy me?

Giving me orders like that.

Why are you taking the bus, Se Kyung?

Why were you waiting for me, ahjussi?

I just stopped by while passing by.

You pass by too often.

I liked you visiting me unexpectedly when I was little.

But not anymore. I dislike it more as time goes by.

I adore you more as time goes by. It disappoints me to hear you say that.

Why are you taking the bus?

I feel like a normal person when I'm on the bus.

Did your boss tell you to do that?

Han Kwang Chul?

Yeah.

Are you in love with a man who would give his life for another woman?

Not just anyone will risk their life.

Can you do that, ahjussi?

I can.

You can?

I can't imagine it.

Someone like you risking his life for love.

Why not?

I love someone like that.

Don't joke around.

I can't imagine it.

Don't you remember?

I took care of you when you were young and sick.

Who took you to the hospital in Japan?

You did.

If Chairman Son gave you money, I gave you my devotion.

That's true. I remember.

I really liked you when I was little, ahjussi.

"Liked you?"

Are you saying...

you love me with all your heart?

Huh?

No...

It's not that.

See? It's not true.

I'm not a little girl anymore.

I don't like you getting involved in everything.

Sorry. I don't think I can offer you tea.

I have to go see my boss.

Your boss isn't there.

What?

He's probably in the hospital taking care of Seo In Ae.

When?

Last night.

Are you that disappointed?

I'm thankful In Ae unni is alive, ahjussi.

Why do you always see the worst in people?

Aren't you...

Aren't I what?

Aren't you unnecessarily kind?

Kind is kind. What do you mean unnecessary?

Mother and you say the same thing.

Do you know what kindness is, ahjussi?

I granted Seo In Ae's medical leave.

What?

Why?

Huh?

Because I asked?

If so, thank you.

Han Kwang Chul loves Seo In Ae.

No one can fake that kind of love.

I came to tell you that.

Stop your one-sided love...

...and leave for Paris.

Even one-sided love is still love, ahjussi.

It's more sad, desperate, bitter, deeper and wider...

I can't help it even if my heart rips and my bones ache.

But still...

I don't want to lose the joy of seeing him. That kind of love.

Ahjussi, do you know that kind of love?

You'll never know as long as you live.

Thankfully, your fever is down.

They couldn't give you antibiotics because of your pneumonia.

Thankfully, the danger is over.

You can eat starting tomorrow.

Should I bring food from home?

Kwang Chul.

Yeah.

Speak, In Ae.

Like you said...

I'll live.

Yes, live.

I feel like I can live now hearing you say that.

I'll live...

but let's kill the baby.

Let's kill it.

Okay?

Let me do that.

Then I'll live.

Why don't you answer?

Then I'll live.

In Ae.

You can't live if you kill the baby.

You'll be a sinner for the rest of your life.

I feel like I'll die otherwise.

One life is more important than heaven and earth.

If I go back to jail,

I'll have no choice but to give birth.

If you want me to live, get rid of the baby while I'm in the hospital.

That's the only way I'll live.

In Ae.

This life shouldn't be born.

Don't say things you don't mean. There is no life that shouldn't be born.

If you give birth to that life,

whether you live or die...

I can think of it as my child.

No...

It's already my child. That's what the world thinks.

Please listen to me, Kwang Chul.

That's the only way I can live.

I'll live...

and survive...

to pay back those who have hurt me.

So, please listen to me, Kwang Chul.

Become the Prime Minister's most trusted person.

How can you say it's in Park Young Tae's hands?

Trust him.

Let's end it.

I'll protect you.

I'll protect my family. No matter what.

You will die in my hands someday.

Prepare yourself. I'll reveal my brother's unjust death!

General Chun has become the Security Planning Chief.

Do you know where Director Park is?

Kwang Chul, it's him.

Park Young Tae.
