Tonight's guest judge is twice a
Mirrorball winner. She's also a winner

on the Australian Dancing With The Stars
as well as a judge. Please give it up

for Kim Johnson.

Kim is a bit of a legend on Dancing With
The Stars, so she knows how it works.

I'm honoured to be here. This is going
to be so exciting.

So much fun.

Now, just four of you remain, each with
your eye on the ultimate prize, a role

on the next season of Dancing With The
Stars as the next pro.

Kim, with a place in the finale at
stake, how does the game change tonight?

Tonight, all the creative choices in
this round will be yours.

We'll be watching to see if you can
teach and create to the level expected

for Dancing With The Stars.

You've all proved you're great dancers,
but now we need to dig deep to decide

whether you have the choreography, the
teaching skills, and the personality.

The last test, teaching amateurs, was a
huge step, but there's an even bigger

step to earn that place in the finale.

For the first time on the show, and just
like in the semifinals on Dancing With

The Stars, you'll be performing...

Two full dances in just a couple of
days.

That's half the time we have on the main
show.

Wow. We just doubled the pressure.

Two performances is a lot, but once you
get towards the end on Dancing with the

Stars, that's what they do. So I feel
like this is a little glimpse.

For the second round, you will dance
with one another one last time.

But... For the first round of this
challenge, you'll be partnered with the

people that have the role that you all
covet. Please welcome the Dancing with

the Stars pros!

Talk about a bit of star power in the
room. Holy moly. Well, great to see you.

I feel like I'm back in the ballroom.
This is great.

Now, Whitney, what do you and your
fellow pros hope to learn by dancing

with them this week?

For this first round, you'll each be
dancing a different Latin style with us.

This will give us a close-up opportunity
to learn just how expert you all are in

two pro skills that are key on Dancing
with the Stars.

Teaching. And choreography.

Well, dancers, earlier, you drew lots to
see who would be partnered with who and

also which dance style you'll be
performing.

And now it's time to reveal the
pairings.

Alan, you will be paired with two-time
Mirrorball champion and my dance

partner, Whitney Carson!

Whitney is amazing and a little
intimidating.

So I need to take it to another level,
to another stratosphere.

And we will be dancing a jive. Let's go.
I'm a little jealous, I'm not going to

lie. I know.

I want to dance a jive with Whitney.

Fine. Now, Adele, you will be dancing
with... Glenn Savchenko!

Gleb, one of the strongest pros on
Dancing with the Stars. When you're

dancing with somebody who is your level,
you're pushing like crazy. It's a

different intensity.

We'll be dancing the samba.

And it's a samba.

Samba is my favorite dance. Oh, my gosh.
I'm so happy.

AJ, you will be dancing with Riley
Arnold.

That's exactly what I wanted.

Riley's amazing.

She has done three seasons on Dancing
with Stars, so she really understands

what it takes. It really gives me the
opportunity to shine.

And we will be dancing a cha-cha.

And of course, Selena, that means you'll
be dancing with Jan Ravnik.

We're both from the commercial world.

He's capable of so much, so I'm really
going to use that. The sky is the limit.

We will be dancing salsa.

Oh my, that's absolutely perfect. Oh,
absolutely.

Dancers, even though you're dancing with
pros, you and you alone are responsible

for all of your routine's creative
decisions, including the choreography.

The pros will report their impressions
of your teaching and choreography skills

directly to our judges. So they're going
to know every single detail.

have you been dancing?

Since I'm six years old. I was born in
Israel.

But my parents are from Ukraine. So I
speak Russian, I speak Hebrew, I speak

English.

It's crazy.

We have so many things in common. Feels
like we immediately understand each

other. Like I wanted to be like, oh my
God, I can't believe they're doing it.

Cool. So then we're going to do that.

Gleb is an amazing leader.

I feel like we have great chemistry.

Teach me that timing right there.

I would be very interested to see how
Adele approaches her teaching methods

with... A complete non-dancer, because
you need to make sure that your

celebrity, they feel comfortable, they
feel confident, they, you know, they

trust you.

Perfect. It feels like I'm practicing
with my dance partner from back home.

So I feel like, yes, I'm confident.

Obviously, anything can go wrong. I can
sleep, I can fall, but we will try our

best to get through with it.

Should we warm up with some, like, swing

The fact that Whitney could be judging
my every move, it feels a little

intimidating. Honestly, sometimes my
hands get clammy. I get nervous.

Well, I'm so used to it. Are you kidding
me? But I believe this is my shot to

prove that I can be a pro on the show. I
feel like I'm doing a lot of body rolls.

And I'm not really sure if I can, if I
should.

Whatever you want to do. Yeah, whatever
I want to do. I got it.

Choreographing is just in my blood. It's
been really hard not to put in my two

cents. But I think that he's done a good
job with the meat of the choreography.

How do you feel with the choreo, though?

It's great, Alan. Yeah. You having fun?
Yeah. One thing I think he could work on

is confidence.

Yeah, and then let go.

Cute. That's the idea.

Just to let go a little bit and have fun
and enjoy it.

I mean, we come from the same
background, so I feel like this is going

to be really fun and we can add some
commercial dance to it. I want this to

be just like boom, boom, boom, boom,

It's like the rules kind of leave the

I like that. I'm dancing with a
professional dancer this time, so there

has to be more difficulty in it.

my brains, what I can come up with. And

I think that's cool. I like that. I want
Shirley to not have anything bad to say

about this dance.

In my dreams, it works.

I want to show that we dance together,
like there's two professionals, not me

having to lead, follow, but we want the
action reaction.

Yeah. It doesn't really end to my brain
that I'm being judged by Riley.

We are two professionals, but I have to
choreograph. I've got the pressure.

She is just being the beautiful foil for
my ideas.

If I'm going to throw you, I want you to
be able to go, catch,

not catch. You know what I mean? Yep.

AJ's very much a thinker.

However many turns, I probably want to
do more than the music allows me. He's

constantly thinking while he's teaching
me and going through the process.

But it can be better.

I can see that he could get strict with
a celebrity if they were messing up at

some times. I could see him losing that
patience.

It feels a little bit negative, though.
It's important for me as a dancer and as

a professional to showcase I can do
Latin, I can do Borum. I am the next pro

in dancing with stars.

I'm very excited to meet up with our
Dancing with the Stars pros. They're

going to tell us exactly what's going
on. Nian, how was your experience?

I absolutely loved Selena.

Okay. She took the lead right away. Her
eye is very TV.

It's very entertaining. And we want
entertainment.

That's what people want. We definitely
need that. On the first night, she was

in my top four. Really? She made a huge
impression on me. She was an amazing

person. Gleb.

I felt like I was back into my
competition days with Adele.

because she's so well trained in
ballroom to be able to create that

choreography that's authentic to the
style i wish it could have been a little

bit a wow moment in the routine okay but
she definitely left you with a wow

moment then eh oh 100 i was like i'm
flying private jet right now i'm not

even a roller toy whitney your
experience with alan I just enjoyed the

entire process. He's so nice to dance
with, but I think he could work on

believing in himself a little bit more,
and that will allow him to really make

the choreography pop.

Alan does need to bite down on the
mouthpiece and come fighting for it,

because this is a hard job.

And how did you get along with AJ?

At the beginning, I felt that
lightheartedness, but I will say he's

kind of intense.

I'm concerned with the AJ feedback.

I don't know if he's, like, going to be
able to give affirmation to somebody. It

was just constant, like, critique.

So under pressure.

Yes. Everything is always under
pressure, how you can handle yourself.

And there's nothing like the pressure of
dancing with the stars.

This is the semifinal.

The best four dancers are standing.

They're going to have to be absolutely
outstanding to make the final. They're

going to have to be the complete package
to be the next pro on Dancing with the

Stars.

it's side by side.

Well, Alan, I can only imagine how it is
to dance with Whitney, the 2025 Dancing

With The Stars champion.

If it comes down to a jive action and
side-by-side work, I'd have to say it

was really excellent what you did. But
do you think you got the most out of

Whitney? This girl can do anything.

She can jump, she can flip, she can
split. For me, she's got a lot more wow

moments that perhaps we didn't show.

It was jam-packed full of jive content,
which is amazing. But I've got to agree

with Shirley.

I would have liked some more Whitney
moments. Whitney is the queen of working

the camera. No one knows how to do that
like Whitney. Absolutely.

I kind of disagree.

That's my favorite jive I've seen this
season.

So, like, when I'm watching a jive, if
I'm not doing this, that's a problem.

And I was doing that the whole time. So
I love that it kept trucking. I love the

kicks and flicks. I love that it didn't
die.

Like, the steam kept rolling the whole
time. I love the shaping on the pivot. I

really enjoyed it. Good job, brother.

You really captured the essence of

It's finding those little moments in the

For me, it lacked a little bit of...

soul and funk and grit. We know you're a

numbers, we do a lot of these things

After the Latin round, we are exhausted.
Our bodies are feeling it, but it's

round two, baby.

I'm honestly so excited.

A ballroom dance to start off with.

And I love a fox shot.

Choreographically, like, we need to tick
the boxes doing the actual technique.

We're in the semi-final. This is the
final opportunity to make the finale and

showcase why I should be the next pro.
One, two, dance, three, four. It will

run through time.

This will be fantastic. And I will
travel around this room more than any

other dance, especially my competitors,
attempting to do a quick step.

We have quick steps, which is stressful
because I just did a quick step last

week, so I kind of have to show the
difference. I know Mark had a lot of

feedback. Mark's like, yo, move, corner,
hit something. Yeah, so I feel like we

should incorporate that. Selena and I,
our feedback from the judges has been a

little mixed, so we're adding all the
things that the judges commented on into

the choreography. We should start
further back. Okay. That way we can

really move.

Yeah. Okay.

The competition is very tough. AJ and
Adele are top-notch professionals. But

part of being a pro in dancing with a
star is understanding how you can handle

the pressure.

I like actually if... Oh, we just did
that? Yeah, that was good.

So I'm excited to be dancing with
Selena.

This girl can do everything.

I'm so nervous!

We're at the final four.

This is my dream.

To be the only commercial dancer left is
a lot of pressure. It's mentally

grueling. And if I don't do the quick
step like the judges want me to, I could

be going home.

I'm so nervous.

AJ wants to make the finale.

Adele knows that. So if AJ wants to make
the finale, he's going to produce the

impressed with was the musicality the

would both be so fun to be partnered
with as a celebrity.

And I think he would do a great job on

Well, first of all, I want to say to all
four of you, this was... An absolute

exceptional semi-final. Alan, you've

You are a remarkable dancer.

Selena, fire, passion, charisma.

Absolutely a star.

AJ, I don't think we've ever seen this
kind of quality in ballroom dancing that

you have given us.

And Adele?

It doesn't matter what you put your hand
to, you are giving 110%. And therefore

with all these things, it makes this so
difficult.

Having

taken

everything into account,

There is one dancer that has ever so
slightly underperformed.

So unfortunately, this is going to be

I'm very sad and devastated to be going
home. But at the same time, I felt like

I left it all out there.

This has been the most exciting and
phenomenal experience. I think my mom

What has that meant to you to represent
your passion?

Yeah, it means the world to me that I
was able to tell my mom's story and
