We've been married for three years now. Funny enough our honeymoon

was to a swingers resort. So we kind of talked about it before

we got married and then we kind of decided to like plunge head first

We went into it very open-minded too. We didn't want to set any like

rules or boundaries until we found something that we didn't like.

the lifestyle was a horrible thing I didn't pursue it so

I just I was like okay that's that's not for me and then

you know with with Ayla that that completely changed you

And, you know, that just has helped us both, too.

The most surprising thing from entering the lifestyle was realizing that watching my partner with somebody else, you know,

didn't, you know, give me that jealous feeling that I thought it would, because, you know, I was thinking like, oh, you know, watching him, you know, be with another woman, fuck another woman, like that should be me.

And I realized over there that he's enjoying himself and that at the end of the day, it actually makes him want me more.

You know, so it just was, you know, that realization that I didn't really even have that jealousy.

In fact, it was amazing to watch and I love watching it.

So we both love to watch each other with other people and just see each other have a lot of fun and enjoy that.

One of the best experience I've had, we went to this party and one of my friends was like, can we take her?

It's precious to us. Like meeting other people online, a lot of the time they can waste your time.

Like you do all of this to plan out a whole day to meet them.

Some advice I'd give to couples, especially younger couples getting into the lifestyle,

is that you should definitely go into it open-minded.

Trying to set a bunch of rules right away, it just, it's not going to work.

And the reason it doesn't work is because chances are somebody at some point is going to break that rule.

And there's going to be a lot of hurt feelings and a lot of emotion.

And so it's just easier to go into it with none of that and then finding your rules from there.

Because that's where a lot of the jealousy comes from.

You know, you set all these rules and now you're mad at your partner.

You're jealous that he did that or she did that.

And, you know, it takes a lot of the fun out of the whole experience.

Because you both have the intention of wanting to do things.

So it's just a matter of just communicating.

So that's why for us, it's, you know, older couples, they get surprised of how we are.

And, you know, how we can try to say, dude, are you just going to let her do that?

I'm like, yeah, she can go to another room and I trust that she's going to do the right thing.

Yeah, we get a lot of compliments because I'm in my 20s.

So like a lot of the friends and other people that we have in the lifestyle, they're usually 30s or 40s.

And they told me, like, I wouldn't have even ever done that in my 20s.

So I take that as a compliment and as pride.

But I also take it as encouragement for younger couples in their 20s to take a leap of faith and just try it.

One thing I could do differently would have been listen more.

Listen to, you know, her feelings a little bit more.

You know, like, and that came with the communication.

And I wish I could have done it, you know, in a better way.

I'm not really sure if there's anything that I would have done differently.

I'm not trying to like hold myself on a pedestal or anything.

But I felt like I was very honest and open about how I felt and where things were.

So I'm not sure that I would do anything differently.

I probably would have kept it very much the same.
