In a typical American city shortly before dawn,

the residents sleep snugly in their beds,

unaware of the fantastic menace soon to confront them.

Honored, that noise, the library, it's sinking, but that's just impossible.

And not too far away, the impossible continues to happen.

Why isn't Tony Stark ever around when he's needed?

I've tried his home and his haunts.

The only place left is his factory, he's just gotta be there.

And inside the factory, the elusive Tony Stark,

oblivious of the hour, is absorbed in a new invention.

I've worked in this earth digger for months, and I still can't get all the bugs out.

Its atomic pressures become so great that only in the protective armor of Iron Man

would I dare to continue this project.

So exit Tony Stark, enter Iron Man.

Mr. Stark, Mr. Stark.

Don't come in here, Pepper, it's too risky.

Iron Man, I must find Mr. Stark, where is he?

Don't come near this machine, it's highly dangerous.

Well, I think this is the end of the ride and

the beginning of a deadly new adventure.

Stepping cautiously from his factory, Tony Stark,

alias Iron Man, surveys the very core of Earth.

So this is what the subterranean world looks like.

Complete with lakes of molten lava.

But I see no signs of a welcoming committee.

I wonder, hey, what are those carriages doing with my Earth digger?

Stop, you clowns.

That digger's atomic.

Okay, maybe you'll understand this language.
