I will...

(Episode 29)

be a dad soon.

I'll finally have a family.

You'll be...

a dad?

That's right.

Duk Shil is pregnant with my child.

I'm going to live...

for my child and my wife from now on.

So you should protect your family too.

You seem to be mistaken.

I'm not trying to get revenge on you.

It's Yangji Group, which killed me.

My target of revenge is Yangji.

The day you married into that family,

I deleted you from my life.

Yoo Wol, that was...

Don't be mistaken and think...

I still love you.

You're just a woman from my past.

The woman I love now...

isn't you, who married into my enemy's family that killed me,

but Duk Shil,

who saved my life and is going to...

have my baby.

So forget me.

Kim Yoo Wol doesn't exist anymore.

I'm done talking.

Now, what did you want to tell me?

Nothing.

Nothing?

No.

I don't think I should tell you anymore.

I'll go now.

Congratulations...

on your wedding.

Satisfied?

I did what you wanted.

Still,

that wasn't necessary.

You said to prove it.

You said that was the only way you'd marry me.

You're so immature.

It doesn't matter.

I had no choice.

He's having a baby?

He's going to be a dad?

Then what about Ji Min?

What have I been doing?

What have I been doing...

for the past 10 years?

The woman I love now...

isn't you, who married into my enemy's family that killed me,

but Duk Shil, who saved my life...

and is going to have my baby.

Do you know why I married your enemy?

Why...

You're not my sun anymore.

There will be no more sun in my life.

Hello?

What?

I'm sorry.

(Yangji Hospital)

Honey.

Are you okay?

Yes.

Are you sure you're okay?

I am, so don't worry.

Sorry.

You were stressed out because of me, right?

I was wrong.

It wasn't your fault.

I had no idea how hard it was for you.

I was a jerk.

I said it wasn't your fault.

I don't need another child.

I'll persuade Grandfather somehow,

so don't worry.

if anything were to happen to you,

I would just die. You know that, right?

I don't need another child.

You and Ji Min are all I need.

I won't be greedy.

Congratulations...

on your wedding.

Shi Wol.

I think...

this is where it ends for us.

You said to prove it.

You said that was the only way you'd marry me.

Was I too petty?

- Aren't you going to sleep? - What?

I can't sleep.

Don't mind me and sleep.

You and Tae Yang aren't having any problems, are you?

It's not like that.

Good.

I was scared that you broke up or something.

Sorry for worrying you.

You're getting married, right?

Do you want us to?

That goes without saying.

Don't worry, we'll get married.

I know you're my daughter, but you've struck gold.

You can't find a better husband than Tae Yang.

I see.

It bothers me that he's an orphan,

but that wasn't his fault.

How incredible is it that an orphan grew up to be like that?

Why do you think...

his parents abandoned him?

I'm sure they had no other choice.

What?

Even still, you shouldn't abandon your own child.

Don't you agree?

That's how bad the situation must have been.

Don't judge others until you've been there yourself.

Is that why you abandoned him?

Does Tae Yang resent his parents?

No.

Then? Why did you bring them up?

He said...

he always dreamed of having a family since he's an orphan.

He wants to be a good dad to the baby.

He insisted he'd never get married.

So it's because of the baby.

That's how much he must have resented...

and longed for his parents.

Gosh.

I can't blame him.

The child you abandoned...

must feel the same way as Tae Yang does, right?

She fainted in the middle of the street?

Why doesn't she take better care of her body?

I'm sorry.

I should've been more attentive.

Can she even have another child if she's so weak?

She must have overextended herself with the new product development.

I think that's what got her sick.

Can't the company function without her?

Give her a break.

How else can she get pregnant?

It's her personality to see everything through to the end.

You know how she is at work.

Why don't you give her a leave...

until she has a baby?

I was thinking of that, actually.

It must have been hard.

It was my carelessness, so please forgive me.

Please have some.

Is this for me?

I thought you'd want some.

It'll help you sleep.

I really hope so.

Don't pressure Ms. Yoon too much.

It's not like I want to, but my father is so stubborn.

Is she taking the herbal medicine diligently?

What is it?

Nothing. Yes, she's taking it diligently.

Ji Eun.

Don't your teeth hurt?

They're fine. I have healthy teeth.

Does that actually taste good?

Yes, you want to try some?

No, I'm good. Enjoy.

I don't know what the baby will be like,

but he or she will have fair skin after all that uncooked rice.

Not just fair skin.

He or she will be tall and good looking like Ji Eun.

That's right. I really hope our baby...

looks like Ji Eun, not me.

What's wrong with you?

I've never seen a better-looking man than you in my entire life.

If you have, I'd like to see him.

Stop it.

Anyway, why did Shi Wol suddenly faint?

Right? I thought she was healthy.

Was it heatstroke?

She must have a lot of stress.

What kind of stress?

Maybe there are marital problems.

Ji Eun.

Are they having problems?

It's too soon for me to tell you.

I'll tell you everything later when the time is right.

What about having another child?

I don't know. It'll probably be hard.

Why are you up?

You should sleep comfortably.

Did I wake you? Sorry.

It's just...

I wanted to be with you.

Do you want something to drink?

Honey.

Yes?

What is it?

Let's have another baby.

I'll have another baby.

But you didn't want to. Why the sudden change of heart?

I didn't know you wanted one so badly.

Sorry for being selfish.

Don't do it for me.

I told you...

I won't pressure you anymore.

It's been hard, hasn't it?

I won't make things hard for you anymore.

I'll forget it.

I'll erase him forever...

from my heart.

You said you wouldn't drink it. What happened?

You made the right choice.

Leave it. I'll do it.

It's okay.

Next on the news.

Oh Tae Yang, the CEO of Sun Holdings,

the nation's largest private fund...

and one of the largest mutual funds in Asia...

is getting married after a long relationship.

Mr. Oh is getting married?

His bride-to-be is Chae Duk Shil,

a founding member of Sun Holdings and Senior Executive Vice President.

They met in 1997 and have been developing their unchanging love...

for over 10 years,

and have been the envy of many.

Oh Tae Yang of Sun Holdings,

with his good looks like an actor...

and exceptional investing instincts,

manages Asia's largest mutual fund...

worth 10 billion dollars.

He is called the Midas Hand...

in the mergers and acquisitions market.

They are competing against Yangji Logis...

over the acquisition of Shinsung Express.

There is much interest in how things develop.

Why did you turn it off? We were all watching.

Sorry.

Should I turn it back on?

Forget it.

Anyway, they've been dating for 10 years.

How could they date for 10 years?

Can you understand, Jung Hee?

Who cares? It's their lives.

They're still your neighbors.

You're so inconsiderate.

In his interviews, he sounded like he didn't want to get married.

I wonder why the sudden change.

Maybe she got pregnant or something.

That's it. That's what it is.

The Midas Hand, who turns everything he touches into gold,

and the Minus Hand,

who turns everything he touches into garbage, are competing.

- That should be fun. - Min Jae.

You punk.

I'm sorry.

It's not like he's wrong.

You're right. Min Jae's right,

considering my past.

I'll do my best to make up for everything I did wrong before.

Of course. And you should.

Whatever it takes,

you must succeed in acquiring...

Shinsung Express, okay?

I will.

You saw the news?

That's right, she's finally getting married.

What do you mean?

Duk Shil's blessed, that's all.

Okay. I'll send you an invitation, so make sure to come.

Okay.

Goodness.

Your phone is ringing off the hook.

I know, right?

TV is powerful.

People who never called are all calling now.

Hey.

Are you that happy?

Wouldn't you be if you were me?

Naturally, I would be.

Hold on. Tell Tae Yang and Duk Shil to come out.

I need to talk to them.

What is it?

You know,

as my gift to you to congratulate you on your wedding,

I want to pay for your entire wedding.

- What? - What?

What?

Surprised, right?

You're kidding, right?

Why this woman...

Do I ever joke?

Tae Yang and Duk Shil are getting married.

I, Hwang Jae Bok, who has nothing but money,

can spend that much.

Why is that so strange?

What's wrong with you?

You'll regret it later.

What? Regret?

I will not.

Do you mean it?

Of course.

That's right.

I'll get all of that money back with interest,

so don't worry.

You bought me clothes not long ago too.

What's wrong with you?

Are you sick?

Are you dying soon?

Why this woman...

Sorry, but I won't die until I fill my storeroom more.

No, I can't die.

Even if I do die, I'll die under a pile of money.

I see.

Go right ahead.

Why did you suddenly change your mind?

About what?

About having another baby.

You were so against it, but now you want one.

I'm baffled.

Min Jae's having a baby.

Is that why?

We need another child for Ji Min's position to be more secure.

Honey.

And our family too.

I need to protect our family...

so no one can break in.

I'll protect my family from now on as you said.

I'll make sure to protect...

my castle Yangji,

so you can never tear it down.

(One month later)

(CEO Oh Tae Yang)

I'm back.

What? Why are you back so soon?

How could I miss your wedding?

I guess a lot happened while I was away.

It just happened.

Congratulations.

Thanks.

So, how was the trip to New York?

Don't get me started. You were right on the money.

Let's sit.

So, they're issuing NINJA loans...

even to low-income people with bad credit...

who can't get loans.

That's right.

In Ohio, they even issued a loan in a dead person's name.

So the banks aren't conducting even the most basic identity checks.

Yes. If you say you're buying a house,

even if you don't have income, job, or assets,

you can get a loan. Why?

Because property value keeps rising.

What if it falls?

They all believe that it will never fall.

With the one-house-per-family trend,

all those people are clamoring to buy their own house in the US.

How could the price not go up?

Even still. What if...

property value drops?

Then...

they're all ruined.

What about what I asked for? Did you bring it?

I did, but what will you do with it?

I need to look into something.

I'll explain later.

Okay.

What brings you here? You didn't say you were coming.

Hi.

I wanted to discuss something with you.

I thought you went to the US.

I just got back.

I can't miss Tae Yang's wedding.

Of course, you shouldn't.

You need to attend his wedding.

I'll let you talk.

I'm tired and need to rest.

- Okay. Go rest up. - Thank you.

- I'll call you later. - Okay.

You want to discuss something?

Have a seat.

Invest?

That's right.

You're already investing through Sun Holdings.

That's different.

Give me some advice if there's any good prospect.

I'm trying to make up for the wedding costs.

That's so you.

What, did you think I'd give you all that money...

for nothing in return?

Naturally, I assumed you wouldn't.

It made me so nervous.

Don't be a crybaby.

Anyway,

tell me if there's a good company.

Invest in Shinsung Express.

Shinsung Express?

You're all going to Mr. Oh's wedding today, right?

Of course, we should.

He's Yangji Construction's financial investor,

the rival in the Shinsung Express acquisition,

and he lives next door. What would they think...

if we don't go?

Isn't that right, Father?

I guess we should.

I have something to do, so I can't go.

What? You can't miss it.

You represent Yangji Group. You have to be there...

for it to make the news.

I said I can't because I have something to do.

There's nothing we can do.

I'll be going in his place,

so I'm sure they won't be hurt.

I'm sorry, but I can't go either.

You too? Why not?

Naturally, she doesn't want to go.

Her past lover is getting married.

Who'd want to see that?

I don't feel well.

Okay.

You need to take care of your health.

There's no need to strain yourself.

What about you, Kwang Il? You're going, right?

Yes, I should. Of course.

Okay, then. Everyone's going...

other than Tae Joon and Shi Wol, right?

You don't need to go too.

Still.

Plus, you're not going either.

Why is Mr. Oh so important that our entire family needs to go?

Why are you suddenly acting that way toward him?

You welcomed him and said he was our savior before.

That was then.

He's our enemy now.

Why Shinsung Express, of all companies?

He's despicable, that's why.

Regardless, I'm going.

We need to separate business from our personal lives...

at least for the future.

What do you mean, "future"?

That's how the world of business is.

My enemy yesterday is my ally today,

and my ally today becomes my enemy tomorrow.

Regardless,

Mr. Oh is getting married today.

I want to forget about the business...

and congratulate him sincerely.

Are you really not coming?

No. I'll just stay here.

It's Tae Yang's wedding, of all people.

How could you not come? I'm hurt.

Please tell him I'm sorry I can't make it.

Fine.

Bye.

Duk Shil!

Hey.

You look so pretty.

Really?

Yes, you look so pretty.

I want to get married too.

Don't worry.

You'll get married when the time is right, just like me.

The groom should have a lot of friends coming, right?

The groom's friends?

I don't know since he lived in the US.

But his business friends should be coming.

What a shame.

Let's take a picture.

- Congratulations. - Thank you.

- Thank you. - Thank you.

My gosh. Thank you.

I'll see you later.

Go check to see if Duk Shil...

is almost ready.

Okay. I'll be right back.

Thank you.

- Congratulations. - Thank you.

I'm Chairman Jang Wol Chun's second son-in-law, Park Jae Yong.

This is my family.

I'm sure you're very busy.

Thank you for coming.

I thought...

Mr. Oh didn't have any parents.

May I ask how you're related?

I don't know.

You can say I'm his guardian...

or his adoptive father.

Something like that.

I see.

Anyway, congratulations.

Let's go inside.

I thought you weren't coming. Why did you change your mind?

You said to separate business from personal matters.

Isn't that...

What's wrong?

What? Isn't that man...

Yes, it's Hwang Jae Bok, president of Heungnam Industries.

What should we do? Should we just...

What else is there to do?

Long time no see.

Gosh.

It's such a pleasure to see you again.

You're looking as good as ever.

Look at this shameless little punk.

What's your relationship with Mr. Oh?

He's like a son to me.

Regardless, this is a happy day,

so thank you for coming.

That's right.

It is a happy day indeed.

Congratulations.

That slimy snake.

Congratulations.

Thank you for coming.

My pleasure.

Mi Ran.

Hello. You came.

- Congratulations. - Thank you.

Go inside.

Is it good?

Yes, it's delicious.

(Only Kind People Can See)

Isn't that so funny?

VIU SUB Ripped & Synced by HoneyG

(A Place in the Sun)

I'm pregnant.

Are you serious? Honey.

I knew I didn't like that punk Tae Yang.

We need Shinsung,

so make sure we get it at all costs.

You're going to the doctor today, right? I'll go there now.

Just drive away.
